rebate cards
Ge is stealing money out of the pockets of their consumers. These are the same people that spent money on buying their ge brand appliances in good faith was told there was a rebate, waited over 2 months to get the promised rebate $, then ge puts an expiration date on the cash card. Cash cards are not supposed to expire ever! It is our money that they agreed to pay as a rebate. A rebate is money that is given to the consumer as a discount on agreed purchase/contract. I will never again buy a ge appliance. I will never recommend ge appliances to any client again.
Ge is unwilling to honor their commitment to good customer experience.
We will pursue this with the wa state consumer protection agency. This is bad business
ge parts driver
While driving in Atlanta, Georgia on South Fulton Parkway at approximately 5pm on Saturday, June 1st, we witnessed a GE parts pickup truck (tag Number RKR4144) and the gentleman driving proceeded to throw his Gatorade type bottle out of the truck on the interstate. We would hope that employees of GE have more respect for our city and our environment than that.
wall oven, model # jt5000sf3ss
Purchased wall oven 7/2017. Installed 11/2017. We have already in 12/2018had to put a mother board in it, $220.00. currently the front won't light up, oven door locked, can't do a thing with it. Called help line and told me they were sorry that I hadn't purchased the warranty and told me to turn breaker off, leave a few minutes, then turn back on. Told him it had been off for two days. " Well there is nothing more that I can do for you then!". I have a practically new I've, as I haven't even used the convection part on it yet, and can do anything but look at it! I would like a person to come out and repair it free. When you pay good money for something you expect it to last. So step up and stand behind your products.! Feel free to contact me at [protected]@aol.com.
ge refrigerator model: abe20eghbrbs serial number: sd13667
Purchased this GE Refrigerator April 2014 paid $1200 from Home Depot. Refrigerator stopped working 16 days ago. Extended warranty would have been no help. The repair service found the coils were rusted out and "not worth repairing". GE products are cheaply made in Mexico and not worth the high price GE charges. I would like a partial refund. HA! HA! At one time GE was the best and proudly made in USA... now your products are a disgrace to America.
oven
We used GE oven in Saudi Arabia for parried of 8 years without any problem.
Recently we moved to United Arab Emirates and when we installed the same oven it did not work probably as the top burners are working fine but the mother board and the oven parts are not working. The oven power is 220 Volts and GE workshop here is saying that this model will not work i United Arab Emirates. I am not convinced at all and I am raising this complaint to you to find me a solution.
ge washer
I purchased my GE washer on homedepot.com on 3/10/19, had it delivered on 3/16/19. On 4/27/19 at 1:06pm my washer exploded and cause damages to my Samsung dryer, water damage to my flooring and wall damage. I filed a claim on 4/30/19 with GE insurance company Sedgwick and received no assistants as far as the appliances and damages. I contact 5/14 GE and Samsung to have service tech take a look at my appliances both techs indicated they are not repairable. I am frustrated and upset that I have not seek any assistants with GE, I have been in contacted with my local home depot and they have done all they can do to help! I just want to have my damages taken care of and new appliances, it is to the point I am considering in getting a lawyer involved.

refrigerator/freezer model gfe27gmdfes
The retractable (tuck away) shelf in my refrigerator broke months ago. I called to get a replacement for it. I provided the information off of my refrigerator to the GE Appliance Parts group. They sent me a replacement part. The part that was sent to me was about 1/4" wider than my rails. I spoke with GE and they said that I would need to return it which I did. I have called several times since trying to get the correct part for my refrigerator, but have not had a good experience. Actually quite frustrating. The person that I spoke with today said that it should be the correct part but. I gave her the measurement of the rail spacing and she said it was the correct part. I can not currently recommend purchasing another appliance from GE with my experience. The appliances have worked well, but if they need service/parts, I would be reluctant. I apologize, but I am quite frustrated and do not know how to resolve this issue. Can someone help? My Model is tagged as GFE27GMDFES, Serial Number HD514925. The RMA that I have was RMA0537111IWE.
dryer cycle knob
I purchased dryer Model G7D33EASK8WW Model AH714112C 25 months ago. I cannot believe the knob is out. I did not get warranty because GE products has be really good in services me . This isn't right for two dryer. Thanks

I purchased this microwave on 2/22/2014 from Home Depot. It works well until 2/2016 when it stopped working. I had to purchased a counter top one to use. I was trying to get it repair but the diagnostic fee is $100.00 plus labor and parts, so it is better for me to purchase a new one. For years I have been a loyal GE customer and I never have this problem. I got only two years of service. Microwave was built in Malasyia so it is sub standard.
Do I understand correctly; you're writing a complaint about something that happened OVER THREE YEARS AGO?
ge adora potscrubber dishwasher model # ghdt168v00ss
I purchased a GE Adora Potscrubber dishwasher from Home Depot in 2012 and paid for the 5-year extended warranty. Installation was fine. Within three months the door handle came off, requiring a service call. Based on other reviews, this is a common problem and requires a technician since the inside panel must be removed. The dishwasher never did a great cleaning job, but it worked. Then recently, we noticed our beautiful oak hardwood floors warping in front of the GE. Turns out the dishwasher had sprung a leak underneath and behind the door about a foot. It leaked at a rate where water didn't gush out, but slowly seeped beneath the oak floor into the subfloor. Of course this occurred out of warranty. I called GE's "Customer Care" number and talked to a person who came off like a robot, reciting a script and telling me that it's not their problem. So much for customer care. So, we've purchased a new LG but need to get our floors refinished in the meantime...$2, 0000 roughly to do the job. Like others here and on other consumer sites, GE has degraded in quality over the years. The once proud Made in America brand has become junk in their quest to offer low prices. I'll never purchase another GE appliance and will dissuade others as well. LG and Samsung are much, much better options for quality and performance. A new slogan for GE might be, "Never Again."
dishwashers often develop leaks, my ancient GE Potscrubber has a slight leak, pump impeller seal - also, overfilling the rinse aid can cause sudsing and water will leak out door - I also just replaced the tub baffles on my unit, which seal the corners. I would consider adding a floodstop unit as I have on my icemaker, floodstop products dot com also has one for dishwashers. These shut off the flow of water if the sensors you place on the floor touch water - the unit also exercises this valve open and closed once a month to make sure it works - mine on the icemaker has been in service for many years now.
unprofessional response to resolve issue
Purchased a GE washer in March 2017. Warranty expired in June 2018. Since that time, within last 3 months several service calls due to errors that prevent washer from spinning. Each time, service agent only clears the errors and there is never a concrete issue of cause. We have had 4-5 service calls in last 2 months. This causes missed time from work and frustration that there is no identified concrete cause for the issue. There is only a guess that we could possibly pay to replace this or that to "see" what the issue may be. This is unacceptable as I feel at this point that GE products are simply lemons. I attempted to get assistance to resolve the matter by contacting Customer Care (Case 190211-003480) and was told they could do nothing for me but to schedule another service call that I would have to pay for. Iman, the agent, would not escalate my call for transfer to a manager at my request and simply placed me on hold for 10-15 min and stated she could not transfer me and someone would have to call me back. I believe this company is unethical and knows that this washer model GTW680BSJ4WS has issues and refuses to do the right thing by refunding their consumers or providing a model that does work.
refrigerator
In December our refridgerator/freezer stopped working. I call for a repair service. Robert came out to fix it. He determined it was a faulty control panel. He replaced the part to the tune of $450.00. While taking the fridge out, my hardwood floors were scratched. Two hours later refridgerator stopped work. Called again and got Robert. He then replaced the fan, come to find out the control panel was fine. While checking the fan, he broke the panel of the ice maker despenser. He order the fan and panel but it didn't arrive until 12/27/18. He fixed the fan but the wrong icemaker panel was delivered. He said he would reorder the correct panel. Three weeks later I called customer service and was transfered 5 time. No one would help me. I scheduled an appoinment and finally got ahold of Robert. He said he'd look into it. I filled out a survey of the appointment and gave a bad review. On 1/24 I got a call from someone in Olympia saying they were going to take care of this. It is now 2/4 and nothing. I called Robert and got the runaround. Seriously, is this the type of custmer service GE provides. I will next contact the Board of Directors if this isn't taken care of.
need ge credit on my credit card.
After GE repair appointment was done they charged my credit card for 50 dollar deposit for part ordered to be shipped to my home. But then they discovered the part was functioning properly when the tried to install it and tried to process credit at that time. They couldn't because it was a holiday. They gave me a number to call but it did not work. Please...

In my opinion if anyone purchases a GE residential appliance you're going to be disappointed.
I replaced a semi-new GE microwave with a band new microwave.
A couple of months later the microwave is tripping the breaker.
1- First service man comes out and says its not the microwave its the breaker.
Electrician to change the breaker. $300. (not the breaker)
2- 2nd attempt. Service man says its the door and switches and orders new parts without even checking the microwave.
3- I call up for repairs again and Im told im still waiting on one part due the 9th of January.
So I said send the tech on the 10th.
NOPE. They wont do it!
I have to keep calling and scheduling appointments.
I anticipate the next repair will fail unless hes the luckiest service tech in the world.
So I just continue to call and get the run around.
I don't remember GE telling me to take my time paying for the microwave?
Again just my opinion... SAD SAD company
ge refrigerator model #gne25jgkgfbb/case #[protected]
I'm a "Buy American Made" person, but our experience with GE definitely has me thinking otherwise!... First GE refrigerator, less than 2 years old, after 5 services calls with multiple thermistors replaced in both freezer and refrigerator and motherboard replaced, finally had to pay over $700 out of pocket to get a new refrigerator. The new replacement refrigerator is barely 1 month old and the freezer stopped working. We have to continue to put our jobs/life on hold for service calls because GE refuses to back the warranty on the products.
ge washer
I purchased a GE washer in July 2018. In November 2018 it broke. It has been 4 weeks now, part on back order, poor customer communication, long wait time to talk to a live person. Customer service will not give me a new washer. They have been out 2 times, ordering more parts. Why can't they do over night shipping? Why can't you try and please the customer.

adora dishwasher
I called service and paid over 140$ for nothing. The problem is still there. GE sent an incompetent repairman who Told me that dishwasher pods are full of phosphates which caused a problem in the dishwasher. He told me to buy a regular dishwashing detergent powder. And put cup of vinegar when I run the dishwasher. None of this work it's like hocus-pocus.
microwave
Hello. I bought the entire kitchen Profile line for my new house in June of 2017 and have had extensive trouble lately with my microwave. The model is PVM9005SJ2SS. The machine worked well for 1.5 yrs., then blew the circuit and shut off. G.E. repair technician got it running again for 30 days, then it shut off once more after again blowing the circuit. The technician returned again and couldn't get it running, in fact, the terminals of the power plug were scorched(!) He ordered more parts and a second repairman came today. This new technician also couldn't fix the microwave and ordered MORE parts, etc. My fear is that the melting terminals (obviously a short) may start a housefire(!) I certainly hope G.E. will do something to rectify the situation - perhaps replace the unit? I am very disappointed in this purchase. Please contact me as soon as possible.

fridge ge-cafe, model cfe28ushlss
The fridge was defect from the delivery date-beginning of Nov.2018. Water was dripping from the left side door on the floor and is still dripping.
On Nov12, Nov18 & Nov26, 2018 Ellite Appliances technicians failed to fix it.
GE Warranty Dept. give us a reference/case number:[protected]. Last resolution given by SLOR MENDEZ-case manager was to have Ellite coming to our place to fix it again with no assurance that the fridge will be working after their 4th attempt.
Can you please help us to put an end to this and replace the fridge with one that is functional. We already incurred damages to the hardwood floor and we can not hide our frustration that we paid a lot of money for an nonfunctional GE product. Please contact us asap as our family need a fridge.
Thank you for your time/cooperation in this matter.
refrigerator model gz522dmjjfes
Purchased new in April 2018. Icemaker not working properly at all. Chips come out with ice and fall all over floor. Or will vomit ice cubes by the number onto floor with just one push. Freezer light not working. This is happening on a daily basis and difficult to deal with cleaning up mess. I have not contacted anyone yet. But would like icemaker replaced. The plastic make up of this device leaves much to be desired and the holding tank for cubes is always overfull and falling out all over the inside of my freezer.
