General Motors 2019 equinox

I leased a new Equinox from Dick Genthe in Southgate, MI. Within 3 days it was performing poorly and then gave me a message (engine power is decreased), I was driving on an expressway and the power was extremely poor. I could have been killed. The dealership said they would get the new part but could not get me a loaner. I am a senior with a sick husband and need to travel regularly to a rehab clinic and doctor's office. Finally after a wek I was provided a loaner.

My previous Equinox lease was great auto. The lease before that I had a continuous problem with the wiring. Losing my power on the dash constantly. I put up with that because the power would come back in a few seconds. Unlike my present lease I did not consider that dangeerous, just troublesome.

I would appreciate and will expect your feedback at [protected]@wyan.org

General Motors 2015 gmc sierra / brake assist decrease due to vacuum loss

I had my brake pedal freeze up so you couldn't compress it. I took to my dealer and they could find the problem. I had this problem fixed at 88, 000 miles at a cost of 600.00 from the dealership. My father in law drives a lot less than I do and just had his 2015 GMC Sierra fix not on a recall, they call it something about extended BLAH BLAH BLAH. GM wont stand behind their poor parts and state this is because of the mileage. I still have the same brakes on my truck from brand new, I have over 108, 000 on this truck. Now GM you will loss a life long GMC truck owner over a 600.00 part if they don't stand behind this. I have purchased 7 GMC or Olds vehicles during my lifetime. This vehicle was purchased from Causley GMC in Clinton Twp

General Motors service and tires

I have went to LARRY Clark Chevrolet in Amory, MS since I married and moved here seven years ago. I bought a set of Michelin tires from them a year and half ago. With less than 20, 000 miles on my tires I happened to notice my right front tire was almost slick. It was time for my oil change so I talked to them about my tire but they said it was probably my alignment. However, my question was, Why hasn't the Service Dept. been checking my tires when I brought my car in for service? I bought these 65, 000 warranty ties from them and being a woman, I thought they were servicing my car. Now I am concerned if they were even taking care of my oil changes. I am very disappointed in their service and I will not be returning. And I will not buy a set of Michelin tires again.

General Motors 2011 chevrolet equinox

I have a 2011 Equinox, vin #2CNALBEC6B6478245 with only 57, 000 miles. Just recently the transmission went out on it, and the dealer, Click Lewis, in Palmyra, PA said there is nothing they can do.
I find it hard to accept this happening, since I had it serviced regularly?!
Can General Motors Corporation help me with this situation?

General Motors camaro radio

I currently own a 2015 Chevorlet Camaro, with 23, 097 miles. As you all are aware the radio and my link systems seem to stop working. This should be a recalled item. Unfortunatly your company's "Service after the sale " is non exsistant. With the amount of revenue that GM generates, and for the sake of your reputation, the honorable thing to do would be to recall these radiomy link systems so that consumers of your products do not have the added expense of replacing these defective systems.

GM use to represent American Pride, hard work and honesty. These principals are not the case anymore and seem to have been deleted from your companys business motto, and core values.

How would you all feel if you were left with having to pay to replace a defective product because the manufaturer failed to provide a quality product that is suppose to live up to its reputation? But you all are not the average hard working american that has to penny pinch. You are a giant conglomerate, so money and radio issues are not a factor for you financially.

The right thing to do would be to recall and replace these difective radio/my link systems.

General Motors 2019 chevy trax

I purchased a 2019 Chevy Trax 04/06/2019 from Feldman Chevy in New Hudson. It was great when I drove it off lot. I was given 1 set of keys. With the promise that another set would come in mail that week. As of 05/01/2019 I still have no spare key. I have the promise that was given at the time of delivery and after inquiring I have more promises but No keys. The 2nd week after delivery the Android Auto system went out. So I no longer had navigation. I took it back to dealership they analyzed it and inform me that it was a clitch in the system that they couldn't repair. My salesman suggested taking it to another dealership to analyze and repair it. So now I have no navigational system and no key. I'm trying to get an answer on how to move forward.

General Motors 2008 buick enclave transmission

My understanding is that GM had and issue with the 35R wave plate in its transmission.
I bought used one owner 2008 Buick Enclave and I'm having that problem now. My understanding is that gm knows about this problem and extended the power train warranty to 10 yrs 120k miles. I have had the the Enclave for about a yr now the time on the warranty ended on 10/18/2018 I only have 114k miles. I was a GM Dealer employee for many years and I love the product. I also know that GM will good will repairs to keep their good name and keep loyal customers. Would you please consider this for my enclave. Really don't want to go to an import. Thank you for your time.

General Motors silverado truck

I purchased a new truck 2 years ago it has 26, 219 miles the motor started knocking so we took it to Alan Webb Chevrolet they had to change out the pistons, cam, lifters, they will not honor their work, this was major work done to a basically new truck, and we are concerned that something else will go bad. They tried to talk us into a new vehicle at double what I owe on my existing truck. We were told that this is an issue with these motors. We are concerned about metal shavings, we were told to drive the truck for 500 miles and have an oil change to check for shavings. When I bought the truck I thought it would last forever, I can't afford a new truck, all I'm asking is that the warranty be extended incase something else happens to the motor it will be taken care of. We took the truck to Ron Tonkin Chevrolet to look over the work that was done by Alan Webb. All I want is an additional warranty to cover the work done. I like my truck, we've owned Chevy's all our lives. If there is anything you can do to give me an extended warranty it would be greatly appreciated. I wanted to attach the paperwork from Alan Webb and Ron Tonkin, but there isn't an option for that. Cynthia Reed email:[protected]@comcast.net. Phone No [protected]. Thank you

General Motors reduced engine power, stabilitrak, brakes

I own a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse 1GNKVHKD0EJ314734 with 76, 658 miles. I bought this as a certified used vehicle approximately 2 years ago and I recently was driving and the stablitrack light came on and engine loss of power light came on and could only drive 20 miles per hour, car was shaking and no power brakes.
We barely got to our son's graduation and parked the vehicle. When we came back out and started the vehicle the engine light was still on but we had power again and were able to drive home, at one point it did feel like the engine tried to stalled out a couple of times while on the highway. The next morning (Saturday) I took it to the dealer (Champion Chevrolet in Howell Michigan) but they were unable to look at it until Monday.
There was a bulletin on changing the fuse box and replacing a terminal which they did hoping to fix the issue since the vehicle wasn't doing it when they drove it and there was only one history code that didn't have anything to do with our issues. The repair cost me $750.00 which doesn't make me happy having to spend on something that is a faulty designed part/s on my certified used vehicle.
We hope that this fixed it because I know GM has had other issues with loss of power and my wife drives in some bad areas around Lansing which now makes us nervous and wonder if we should we buy her another car.
I would like to know if this bulletin on changing the fuse box shouldn't be considered a bad part, it should be, it isn't something that isn't neglected maintenance or abuse by the driver and should be warrantied as recalled part.
I believe i should be refunded for this repair.

General Motors unethical behaviour

I inquired at Hagerrty Chevy website about a 2019 Silverado. The price said internet price. I received a phone call within minutes and started talking about other discounts off the price. So Saturday 4/27 I went into the dealer to see the vechiel and the pricing. From that point everything changed and I kept saying I could not afford that pricing. before I know it I was being pressured into a lease agreement. I explained I already under a lease agreement and I was thinking about just buyin the vehicle in 3 months when the lease was up. I am a veteran and have PTSD issue. so to get out of the dealer I just gave them a down payment. After leaving the dealer and calming down and thinking about what just happen I called the dealer back and told them I did not want the vehicle and I would just buy out on my lease agreement. At this point they told me to late and I had to take procession of the new truck and if I did not pick it up they would have it towed off the lot and I would still be responsible for it and any damaged done where every they towed it to. Due to my finances I just want to purchase my leased vehicle which is a 2016 silverado. I can't afford a $53000 vehicle. I feel I was forced into this deal and taken advantage of while I could not think straight due to my medical condution at the time. I am looking for some help and relief. I do not believe General Motors want to take advantage of a veteran who is under PTSD and stress issue, I know other may not care but again I am looking for some relief.

General Motors i'm about to make my last payment on my lease but have been told I will still owe $595.

(4/25/2019 I have made all my 39 lease payments on time but have been told by Cadillac I still owe $595. Which is a disposition fee(if you do not purchase the vehicle and they do not waive the fee).

Over the years I have purchased 7 new Cadillac's. I leased this one knowing that I would be 80 years old in three years and probably not be able to drive anymore. I
explained my reason to the Cadillac rep but to no avail.

General Motors tires

I bought a $32, 000.00 2018 Chevrolet Equinox LT. I am a GM retiree, and this complaint is about the cheap Michelin Premier LTX tires that you are putting on vehicles. I now have 20, 485 miles on my vehicle, and the tires are bald already. This is my wifes car, so these are not hard driving miles, so why such an expensive vehicle with tires that are supposed to last 60, 000 miles wearing out at 20, 000 miles? Also, Michelin no longer assumes any responsibility for premature tire wear on new vehicles starting with the 2018 model. I feel there should be a recall on these tires, and they should be replaced. I also think you should find another vendor for your tires! Having worked for Gm from 1978-2009, I know you can do better than this! Very disappointed over this issue! Sincerely, Mark Pittenger Phone# [protected]

I agree with Marl Pittenger, my 2018 Equinox with only 22, 800 miles has premature tire wear. Tread is down to 3/32, wear bars are showing. Only 1/3 of 60, 000 mile warranty used. Dealer wants $463.00 to replace with same tire. Michelin will not do anything.

General Motors product

I purchased (over $60, 000) a 2018 Grand Sport Corvette in Oct 2018. Today I now have only 2123 miles on the car. I don't drive it often because of the way the rear Rotors are RUSTED. The appearance is terrible. I took it to the local Chevy dealer and the Service Manager said they would replace them out of courtesy but it had to be approved by GM. I did not get a call back after 10 days so I called the local dealer back and he then told me GM wouldn't approve them changing out the rotor due to presentation or looks. I do not understand how GM would allow a customer that spent this amount of money on a vehicle to have to settle for less than what I paid for. I have attached a copy of the photos to this message and request you reconsider changing these for me to ensure I to am a happy corvette owner. The car is garage kept. General Motors 2014 equinox rusting doors

I also have a 2014 Chevy Equinox with 37, 000 miles. I bought this vehicle used in 2016 with approx. 11, 000 miles. I also purchased the extended warranty. I wash and dry my car every week and when I noticed rusting, I started wiping down the doors each time. My car is housed in the garage every night and continually during the months of January - April. All four doors are badly rusted at the inside bottom. I originally called the GM support line and talked to a representative who suggested I take it back to the GM dealer where I purchased.

Not only will the extended warranty not cover repairs, but the dealer said I had to replace the doors with a cost to me of $3500 +. I then took it to another Chevy dealer who is currently fixing the existing doors by opening the fold, adding rust inhibitor and repainting, at a cost to me of $800. Although the dealership I am working with now is excellent, I fully expect to have problems with the doors in the future due to the design.

I found that GM Canada replaced doors on several years of the Equinox, including 2014. Why will GM not replace US Equinox car doors? It is certainly disappointing that with the cost of cars, GM does not stand behind their product. I have been a loyal GM customer and although I'm sure it makes no difference, this is the last GM product I will purchase.

General Motors 2014 chevy equinox

2014 Chevy Equinox. I'm fanatic about chean cars. This car (bought new) is always kept in garage, washed often including door bottoms and door sill. Doors always left open after washing to dry. All four doors are badly rusted at the inside bottom. See pic. I have two other older than this cars in same garage and they show zero rust. Why is my Equinox falling apart so soon when I take such good care of it. I'm really disturbed as we need this car to last a while longer and be worth more than nothing when we buy another. Any observant buyer will walk away. What can I do with this issue? I bought my first GM stock at age 15 with money earned ($1.00 per hour) working in a car wash. Always have been a GM supporter

General Motors 2019 gmc terrain slt - less than a month old

Leased the car in March and after one month we are getting an SD error message when driving. The navigation and entire infotainment screen, including sensors, just powers off while on the road. This is dangerous. Clearly GMC knows about this issue since they released a bulletin. How is this not worthy of a recall? It's actually a safety hazard to see the technology and electrical software powering down when driving. Since the car is only a month old, we are scared as what will come next in terms of problems.

General Motors 2012 gmc acadia

I purchased this 2012 Certified Pre Owned Arcadia in 2015 and thankfully purchased the extended Warantee in the 3 years I have owned this there has been so many issues that I seemed to have a rental more than the car I purchased. Many repairs took weeks to fix and multiple tries. That said a few like the electrical system going were huge safety concerns as well. That said what I would like is GM to stand behind their product and extend the warantee 3 years or 150K bumper to bumper. This car has not just had garden variety issues but issues that I have never had to address with any other manufacturers car. Timing Chair, radio, Air conditioner, electrical system and the list goes on.
thank you

General Motors 2014 encore

We purchased a 2014 Encore hoping this would be a car to last a while without major repairs. And for being a car that everyone wants this is definitely a BAD one! We have 32 pages of mainteance and repairs on a car that is ONLY 4 yrs old! Things that should not even go wrong on a car this new! It started a month after we bought it even though covered by warranty it has Never been 100%. A catalyic converter shouldn't be replaced this soon! The screen has never been right nor the brakes, a back window, its not smooth riding like when we first bought it. It has had the coil, a oil seal leak etc. and we have haad to pay for a lot of the problems because the warranty was gone or the extended warranty didn't cover it. We have never been so disappointed with a car. Our Nissan is still running Great and has over 250, 000 miles a few minor repairs OEM still on it and Our son drives it in CA now. It still has the orginial catalyic converter and we used it on our ranch for years! It is a 2004. So considering we wanted to buy American and the commercials were great this car was poorly made! Now we want some help in trading it in for a better car with our dealership Yates in Goodyear Az. The preferred car would be the Terrain with safety mirrors. Our payoff is 13693 on the Encore. We don't want a 500 payment. This particular car was poorly made and a horrible reflection on GM. Could GM help us out besides saying we understand and we appreciate Blah blah blah. Enough lip service from GM and Yates take care of this problem. For your top selling money making car it is a Very Poor representation of it. Help Please!

Sincerely,
David and Rose Green

General Motors 2015 chevrolet cruze

To Whom It May Concern:

Last year in the month of March I took my Chevy Cruze in for an oil change. That was the beginning of a problem that has yet to be fixed to the day. Within 3 days of the oil change I started getting a code and oil started running everywhere. So I came home and immediately called the dealership I purchased it from and never ever got a call back. Classic Chevrolet in Sugarland Texas. The same day I took the vehicle to Auto Nation Chevrolet which checked my car in. After 3 visits to this dealership I thought the problem was fixed. This year I took my car to the Chevrolet Dealership in Rosenberg Texas they kept it a week for over heating problems as well as the oil leak . They kept the car a whole week and repaired the oil leak as well as the over heating problem. I received another water pump. This made the second one. Now we come to the present time. My car is still leaking oil on my garage floor on a daily basis. This is the second Chevrolet Cruze I have purchased and the second Chevrolet Cruze I have had massive problems with. Honestly I didn't think I was purchasing a generic car. I have always believed in Chevrolets being as I came from a family of people who retired out of GM. So now I need to know exactly what to do about this problem. I purchased an extended warranty but it seems when I take it in they want to charge me for such items as hoses. On one of the 3 visits to Auto Nation I was charged labor and for hoses. I think almost 200 dollars. Something about that doesn't seem right. I need to know what I need to do to get my vehicle that has a little over 40, 000 miles to be dependable. I don't even feel safe enough to take this vehicle out of town. Could someone please help me. Thank you I'm over it! Catherine Manely
