I bought the item on the 12 of last month from this Glencara company site and when I contacted the sellers, they said that they'll ship it for a week while not clearly say that it'll ship within 24 hours. It's been a week and still no email info about it being shipped. I contacted them again a week later and they said they'll ship it for a week. And again, no email notification of shipping info. And still no item delivered. They said time and time again that it'll get shipped, but I don't know if I trust them this time. It's been almost a month for me to wait for this item. It seems like the sellers are lying to me and that they ripped me off. This site should be shut down. From now on, I'll never shop from this site ever again. They're frauds. I'm contacting my bank and PayPal for a dispute settlement. Buyers beware of this scam company site. I'll shop elsewhere such as amazon and/or eBay.

On June 24, 2019 we purchased Silver & Gold Claddagh Band Rings Unisex Mens Ladies with Solid 14K Yellow Symbols; Size 8.5 and Size 13 with inscription united 7/19/19 on order #[protected] which was supposed to be delivered by 7/5 19 or 7/6/19. As of today 7/8/19 we have received nothing and when we checked order it says on hold. We tried to call 1-66-567-7451 many times and a recording comes on saying you have backed up logs and working on them. We sent a e'mail 7/6/19 and now I'm sending another as we got no response from the first one. We ordered these early because we need them for a wedding by 7/15/19. They've already been paid for through PayPal a total of $250.95. I hope you can find the urgency to address this issue and get these sent out ASAP as we need them by 7/15/19 the latest. I placed an order on 3/8/19. I was charged for my order, as well as an additional few hundred (totally different from my order total) which I had to follow-up to get refunded. Over the weeks, I continued to ask about when it would ship. I was told that my ring would be ready and ship on 3/25/19. On 3/26, I asked where it was again. 2 days later, it was apparently still under production. I emailed again on 4/1/19, 4/3/19, and 4/4/19 to ask if it had shipping yet. They responded 4/8/19 (finally) that it had shipped. Today is 4/25 and it still has not arrived. I followed up again Monday this week, and it took 2 days for them to tell me that it was lost in shipping. I understand shipping and quality issues, but the number of times I was forced to reach out for updates (instead of them just being provided) and the amount of time it takes them to respond (longer than the 24 hours their site promised) just makes them not worth buying from. So far I have asked them twice to refund my purchase amount. I'm still waiting.

I had bought a Claddagh ring for my God Daughters Confirmation in March. Paid extra for gift wrapping and to have it engraved. I should of been guaranteed to have it in lots of time with there delivery time frame. I also received an email saying my order had been shipped and then received an email stating the ring I ordered was out of stock and will be shipped at a later date. Still no Ring! Also it states on there website everything is in stock.
Looking at the rest of the reviews I would never order off this company again. Taught it looked genuine as it says its a company from Galway!

Want to take a moment and warn everyone about this garbage company. I ordered my wedding rings from this "company"... Here is what happened.

I paid 1500 dollars for a bridal set made from 185 dollars worth of gold... According to the appraisal we had. We contacted these clowns stating we want our money back as we did explain why severe not happy.

We started receiving automatedbbemails every time we tried to contact them. Oh! Their phone doesn't work, so don't expect to be able to call them. We asked numerous times to return the rings, they would not let us (even though they claim they accept returns.

They finally answer our email statingbthey will send us a ring with corrections to our identified complaint. A month later, no ring, no answer to our emails... The actual last response was pretty comical..."we are trying to find the new shipping date". That's it... What the he'll does that mean? Irish clowns! These were suppose to be our wedding rings.

If anyone is doubtful of my claims... I've kept every email. I'd be happy to share lastly, check them out on the better business bureau.

We got robbed. Don't let it happen to you. We are now filing fraud claims.

Placed order on July 6th for pendant with chain, pendant arrived with no chain and no expanation was told in email it was on its way July 31 still no chain sent 4th email received response from Katie said it had shipped told again August 13th it had shipped August 16th told by Mari she had ordered one especially for me and it had been shipped and that to make up for the wait they would refund 10% to my paypal account. No big surprise that hasn't happened and the chain still hasn't arrived, multiple excuses now just being ignored don't have the packing slip or mailing address for them and big surprise they don't have a phone # that goes to aynthing but a message, can anyone help?

This ring was ordered with a promised shipping date of December 15.
After trying several times to reach customer service, I have found the ring "didn't pass QA and was sent back and would be expedited shipped."
I still have not heard back and this was supposed to be a Christmas gift!
No one answers the phone - but there is a message that the email system is backlogged and has problems.

“Beware guys! This is fraud!
I have ordered and received quite early a white gold claddagh ring (paying it over 200 €) but the size doesn't fit. I ordered a 10 but I would rather need a 8, 5.
Furthermore, I asked for an Inscription on Ring, which I paid for but the ring shows no inscription. Besides, the ring was very low quality, I hope it is at least gold!
I wrote to the address indicated for returns but I received the automatic reply hereunder saying that I need to send the ring back PAYING AT MY OWN EXPENSE!
I do not find it acceptable to pay (over 15 euro from Italy) for something (the inscription) I paid for and did not receive.
Reading (unfortunately too late) very bad reviews on Glencara, I decided to keep the ring without inscription and bring it to tighten it myself. Loads of people didn't even receive the goods they ordered, I was lucky enough at least to receive it.

DON'T BUY FROM GLENCARA!

The worst services, which I have ever received. I have ordered jewelry from Glencara Irish Jewelry. I have placed in advance on purpose, because it was my mother’s birthday and I expected to get it before her birthday. I checked their delivery terms and found out that it was rather fast. I have waited almost 2 months and the package never arrived. I sent multiple emails to the seller, who simply ignored me. Avoid this nasty seller.

I purchased a claddaugh ring for my son for a communion gift, when it came in a size too small I sent it back for a larger size to one of the addresses recommended, I chose the Ireland address for I thought my ring would be returned sooner (it wanted me to send to NY then they would send to Ireland on my behalf then I would get my exchange). I sent this in the beginning of July 2014 and have yet to receive my exchange, I have called the customer service number only to be told that the representatives are off the phones and responding to high volumes of emails, so with that I sent an email explaining what I did only to get an auto reply. I have emailed consistently since July trying every so often to call and getting no response. I have marked all my messages URGENT within the last 4 - 5 months and have recently started threatening with having phoned authorities but nothing changes in my responses. I am going to attempt to get my money back from Paypal but its been too long.

Ordered a pendant on 8.12.2014 as a Christmas present for my wife. It failed to be delivered. Phoned them and got a recorded message saying that would be in touch within 4 working days. SEVEN e mails later still nothing, I found this site when I inquired about the company's existence. Appears they are just rip off merchants. HOW are they still trading. Have Ireland got such a thing as Trading Standards or are the authorities, including the Irish police, quite happy to have criminals operating without any repercussions ?.

I ordered a ring from this company over 2 years ago. They did not meet the guaranteed deadline, but eventually I did get my ring. The size was wrong, so I sent the ring back and they sent another one, the same size as the first. I then contacted them and told them about their error and they informed me that they did not have the size I required, so I asked for a refund and shipped back the ring. They have confirmed that they got the ring back. They have had over 18 months to complete this refund and they have failed to do so. I have made many attempts to contact them to get this situation cleared up but it still is not. They are incredibly slow to return emails and it is usually just the auto responder that I get and not a real person. This is a company that has lived up to its shoddy reputation. Buyer beware of this poorly managed company.

I ordered two pendants with chains on July 7 with assurances that shipping would be 3-5 days. I waited an extra week, sent Glencara an email. I got back their usual nonsense email saying that they are backlogged in emails and will respond in a week. It should be noted that if you research them, people have been getting this email for well over a year. So I waited again. Next I tried to call but the phone number says, we are backlogged - surprise. The original email actually says something along the lines of, all of our reps are answering emails and we won't be answering the phone. Since they forced my hand, I opened a dispute with Pay Pal. Glencara actually responded! They told me that what I ordered was now out of stock, but they could re-send it when it was back in stock around Aug 28/29. So I told them OK. They still haven't sent anything and now we have passed the date where I can escalate the dispute with Pay Pal and we are back to Glencara not answering emails or phone calls. I can see by searching Glencara I am not the only one being ripped off. I wish I had done my research before buying from them. Well I didn't really buy anything I just gave them my money.

I bought a Claddagh ring from the Glencara Jewellery company based in Galway Ireland. It was a present for a friend but when it arrived it was a size too small. I returned it to the returns address stated and asked for the next size up. Several weeks passed without hearing anything so I rang them on their free phone form the UK number. I have now rang many times only to get the same automated message, that they cannot take the call as it is outside their business hours of 8am to 4pm. Every time I have rang it has been within this time.

The recorded message also states that I could send an email and it should be answered within 24 hours. The email I sent was answered with and automated reply saying I would get a response within a week. If it was important I should mark the subject as 'Urgent'. After 10 days and more phone calls I emailed again an 'Urgent' message only to get yet another automated response. I followed this up immediately with another 'Urgent' email expecting another automated response but strangely have now heard nothing for several days.

Also the automated response contains additional information on how to return an item which is not stated on the Customer Service page on their web site, such as it should be sent via "Airmail" and "International signed for" . None of this fills me with any confidence.

I have no idea where to proceed from here, as I have exhausted all avenues only to be met with a total absence of customer service. Would another written letter to the stated returns address be worthwhile?

I ordered a Claddagh My Soul Mate Ring Set from Glencara.com, for our 25th
anniversary vow renewal. I paid the extra $19.99 for the guaranteed 1-2 day
delivery. It arrived late, after a week, and missed the vow renewal ceremony.
Plus, the women's ring is the wrong size. No amount of email, or phone calls to
the US and Ireland will get me a response. The calls automatically go to a
voicemail saying it's outside their office hours, no matter what time I call. I
want my $19.99 refunded, and more importantly, I want to exchange the ring for
the right size. I'm afraid to send the one ring back for exchange in that I'll
never see it again. As it's engraved, I don't know what their "small
fee" to exchange engraved rings will be. This is the worst customer
service I have ever had with ANY online company, and I do a tremendous amount
of online shopping. I am hoping this may elicit a response from their customer
service department. My next step will be to contact my bank for a disputed
charge if I don't hear from them. I’m afraid it's a fraudulent company. This is
certainly a case of buyer beware!

I buy online a pair of beautiful claddagh rings for my wedding, with the hope of the promise they said in his page was truth, but poor me today is June 1° and I'm waiting my rings since a month ago. My wedding is in June 12th, and I cant wait for the delivery, because I'm risking a wedding without ring, so I have to spend $240.- In another pair of wedding rings.
I send a complaint to de National Customer Service in Ireland, because I thing this is unacceptable. I hope at last get my rings, because in my country is really expensive buy jewerly, and most expensive, jewerly with an specific design.
I hope the people who complaints about Glencara do the same of me (send a complaint to NCS), because I think if we are more, we can make a change.

My fiancée and I saved for 2 years to buy our wedding rings from this site.We ordered our rings on May 25th, knowing they probably wouldn't be sent until Tuesday. We received 3 emails on the 25th but nothing since. I've emailed and called but get no response. All we want to know at this time is when we should receive our rings, a tracking number or a general estimate of when they should arrive.

Glencara is a Rip Off. So I found these folks when I searched for Irish Jewellery. I ordered my dear wife a gold plated locket and a ring for myself for Christmas 2013. The items arrived long after Christmas. The ring was correct but they sent a silver cross instead of the locket. I called their 800 number in the States, No one ever answers. I called Ireland about 6 times no one ever answered or returned my calls. I emailed about a dozen times but no response. I ended up wisely letting my credit card company about the shady dealing. Then 2 months later I get this appeal for me to have the credit card company to pay them fully. My concern is that items are returned to a place in the US where no one receives or acknowledges that the item was returned. Then Glencara claims that they never got their items back so they don't have to return payments. If you look at their Facebook page, you can tell they post only positive comments most likely written by themselves. Every now and them someone will manage to get a true review in, which is mostly negative. I failed to check reviews on these folks so its my own fault. Hi, i have paid for a ring from the above company. i have received it yet. i received an original email to say it will arrive with 5 - 7 days - that was 3 week ago. i have tried to ring with an answer machine on all the time. they will not respond to my emails.. i have been emailing every day for the past 2 weeks. NO HAPPY. THIS IS DISGUSTIN...

I ordered a necklace for my girlfriend and on December 10th I was told it shipped. It is now the 19th and still nothing. If I do not get this before Saturday the 21st I will send it back for a refund and not order from this company again. They have not returned any emails or phone calls. I have ordered from here previously with no problems, however knowing I may not have my girlfriend's Christmas gift is embarrassing and rather upsetting.
