The waitress was ok, to bad she just wasn't our waitress. The place in middletown is nasty. You need to get workers that clean too. Plus there were so. Many files I felt like I was sitting outside. We told and showed the manager and nothing. No sorry no can I take this or can I even give you a discount. NOTHING AT ALL. Now I'm thinking I should have listened to a friend when they said don't go to that one. But I figured I'd try it seeing it was our first time going. But never again. Unless things was to bed better plus the food was on the cold side too.

A manager decided to reprimand an employee where all could hear. Then continue talking and laughing about it on the floor still 45 mins afterwards without the employee present. It was inappropriate to not do it in private. Then when it was over to not continue talking and laughing about it on the floor. At a point the employee was crying but still trying to plead her case now against 2 manager's. Her point wasn't heard fairly by either and the outcome was also unresolved. There will be continued animosity with all involved the leadership was juvenile.
Unfortunately since you were not a direct participant in the conversation, you do not know the entirety of the situation. You still can try contacting their corporate office or the store itself with your feedback however.

The food was cold the steak was burnt or it didn't smell good. The chicken tasted refried the spaghetti sauce was dried up in the pan. The food on the bar was old and needed to be restock. Two customers received their money back. The only thing that ok to eat was the salad and the lettuce was old as well. I was very disappointed and hungry when I left.

Hi, my name is Alejandra De La Cruz, i am making a complaint because i recently had the most disturbing experience at golden corral this afternoon. The date of the incident was today 11/30/2017 at 12:48pm. The client number was not believed to have been provided. Now, everything was believed to be fine until after we paid. After we paid, we walked up to the young man who then told us to sit wherever we want, Instead of walking us to a clean table. We went, and found a table, which was only half clean, and icky. We waited for a waitress to come and attend us in a fast friendly manner, instead, we waited 5 to 7 min for a waitress to come and help us. Finally, when she did show up, she never greeted us as customers, instead she just asked what can i get for you? She never stated what her name was nor what her position was. Now, for 1, to me thats not having any type of professionalism. Anyways, as my mom and dad were getting there food i waited another 5-7 min for our coffee to arrive. After mom and dad came back from choosing what they wanted to eat, the coffee still hadn´t arrived. When my grandma and i went to go get our food and then came back to the table, the coffee was cold as ice! So, round 2 of mom and i going to get food, mom wants spaghetti, there is almost an empty pan with burnt spaghetti in it, my mom asks if she can please have new spaghetti, the worker gives her a dirty look and an attitude! Now at this point, im highly aggravated because of that! Well, we went to go sit down and to our surprise, the spaghetti had no flavor nor was it cooked properly, she had to spit it out. She asked me to go get her some sweets, i brought her carrot cake and i also brought her some jello, and as expected, the jello had been touched and messed with prior to us eating it. I think that was it, that was all i needed in order for me to just go off completely. What your company is doing is just wrong. Having me pay 55.76 for such horrible service and food is not right AT ALL!
overcharged at golden corral
I was at the Golden Corral in Pelham Alabama #0901 on Sunday 11-26-2017. I was charged for 3 adults and 3 children. There were only 2 adults. The extra charge was for $13.99. I noticed this on my credit card charge on 11-27-2017. I contacted them by phone and they told me there was only one person that could help me and he wasn't there. Mr. Kelly [protected]). They also told me I would have to come in and talk to this person. But, he drops in and out and couldn't tell me when he would be at the restaurant. This is ridiculous. I realize I should have caught it when the lady rang up my bill. They were busy and there was chaos during this lunch time. I live 30-40 minutes from this restaurant. Now If I want my bill corrected, I've got to call ahead to see if this 1 person is available and make arrangements to drive there. Not a good way to run a business and take care of customers. All I want is this charge removed from my bill. They should be capable of doing this over a simple phone call.

I frequently eat here but after being mistreated by nearly every employee I spoke to this afternoon, I'm reconsidering . The main problem was, I politely asked the manager if I could have some lemons for my drink (the lemons on the line we're absolutely disgusting &I photographed them beforehand) the manager gave me a hard time about asking her & went to grab some from the back. Other employees behind the line we're rude to say the least and I'm overall extremely upset with the experience.

I was recently relieved from employment at Golden Corral in North Little Rock but I wanted to let you know that even though this was posted in 2015 this is a racist comment towards your customers and I think this problem should be dealt with. I'm not worried if I don't get my job back there but I think somebody from corporate needs to take a look at the place there is so much going wrong there employees eating food while they're cooking the customers food at the same time serious health code violations mold all over the place. Somebody really needs to get in there and check that place out

My husband and I went in, for the first time, to the Golden Corral in Pikeville, KY. We were ordering our food- the woman Erica E- was rude and condescending. My husband asked about straws and was told hatefully that the server has them. I paid with a 50$ bill- it was marked six times for insurance that it wasn't counterfeit. We then were dismissed with a wave and told to sit on the left. As we ate, the same woman went to the buffet and although she had a plate, she began eating some of the food there AT the buffet. Later, she came out and screamed at the servers that "salad plates " were apparently needed. We apologized to the servers ourselves. I think, as a manager myself, that there is a sore lack of respect and decency with the management there and we will not be going back

I was at a Golden Corral in October I been food poisoned twice at Golden Corral. One of these times was on a school trip to Spring Field. It was not fun going home on the bus with food poisoning. I threw up in a bag on the bus. For the whole weekend I was stuck inside sick and I could not hang out.
I think Golden Corral should change the way they cook. Also make their food products more safe for their costumers. I will never go back to Golden Corral ever again. Thank you for your time and feel free to respond.

employee/ service I am complaining about
My family and I visit Golden Corral in Montgomery, Alabama. We were excited about going there but when we got there we paid to eat. We found a place to sit down the waiter did not help us at all she did not come greet us. The whole time we were there she was engage in a conversation with one couple the whole time talking really bad about white people and it was a white couple there and I know they heard her because we did. That conversation made us upset on our stomach we couldn't enjoy our meal. Not one time did she assist any other couple that was in her area to serve. She stayed at that one table the whole entire time on the same conversation about white people. Finally another waiter came introduced herself we asked why wasn't we help the entire time we were there and the young lady said she just came on the shift and the other lady had just left. All of our dirty dishes was left with us we were never offed a refill or anything. I don't know who the lady was but I can assure you the company can find out who she is we sat in the area by the rest room at the window that over see the parking lot on the side of the building. The lady is a heavy set light skin woman the other three guest or I didn't receive any services from her. The only service we got from her was a ear full of racist conversation with one couple who she served the entire time. I would love for my family and I to continue to visit the establishment but not if she is working there.

I come to golden corral on a regular basis and it never fells that the fact that I have to wait on my waiter and some occasion no waiter at all and I usually end up having to get my own condiment and drink which I do not mind but every other golden corral I been to was way more courteous. They waiter will see me there and just walk rite pass and when Im finally done they will eventually ask if I need anything .

This week, Golden Corral had Veterans night, on the 13th of November. I was very happy to be there and I'm not wanting to sound like an ungrateful person. Indeed, I was very thrilled to be recognized for my service and to be offered a free meal. My husband went, and paid for his buffet dinner.
But this picture here I'm posting, is what I found next to me, on the wall. I took a picture of this roach, because corporate and others need to know about it. I showed the roach to a food server passing by and she got rid of it. We did not blame the wait staff and still left a tip for their service. It's not their fault.
Corporate needs to make the restaurant managers there in Sevierville, TN close that place down for several days, to do a bug extermination and cleaning. If roaches are in the dining room, there must be thousands more in the kitchen, getting into the food.
I don't come here that often, anymore. I used to love GC in the 1980's and 1990's, when you could also order steaks, baked potatoes and Texas toast, along with the salad bar. It wasn't just buffet only. GC has truly went downhill after 1999. The food does not taste good, anymore. You can tell that it's been sitting out for hours, and that it's low quality, generic food. It's as if they walked across the street to Aldi and stocked up on their cheap, generic, store brand canned goods and other expired food.
Again, I'm not trying to sound ungrateful. It was wonderful GC had a nice gathering for Veterans with singing and free dinners for Veterans, but the restaurant itself needs to improve.
roach came out the spring rolls
I went to the golden corral in Brandon fl. The restaurant was not clean. There was minimal amount of food. Most of the pans were empty. I went up to get a spring roll and a roach crawled from the pan. Spoke to the manager who explained they were closing soon and gave a full refund. But she seemed to not really care how things looked or there was fresh food. They were shutting down half the buffet. We got there at 7:30. It was the worse. Roaches in the food I could not believe it.

Me and my daughter was at Golden Coral in London Ky. Our waitress name was shelia. The waitress was sick. I so happen to look up when she came and she stsrtrd cleaning her nose in front if us. And you coukd see the mucus running. My daughter and i got the manager on her and we explained to her that she did not need to be working and her sick like that. Especially handling the customers drinks or whatever. It was disgusting . we told the manager . she just looked around like anchicken with her head cut off. And the way she was acting she wasnt gonna let her go. Home or do anything about it. My daughter and i got outmr money back and we are never going back into thst nasty place again. We usually go there once a week and we tske our family there when we are all together and we apend close to 200.00 when the family is together. Well they want be getti g that from us any more.

wrong prices advertised
I visited Golden Corral in Pompano Beach, FL for the first time. The price we were charged was completely different than the prices advertised on the internet. We chose to go there because of the internet price of $11.99/person with drinks included and $5.99/kids. We were charged $14.99/per adults and were charged for drinks as well, and $6.99 /kids. When we tried to shoe the advertising to the employee, we were given an attitude.
This is my first and DEFINITELY my last time. Not only the food was not that good, the shrimp had a very weird taste.

On 11/10/2017, I visited the location at Normandy Blvd in Jacksonville Florida around 9 pm. I got my takeout tray and stopped at the brisket bar wasn't really pleased with the way that brisket looked it wasn't a large portion but it looked a little dry I asked the young man if they had some more and he told me he couldn't get it because he had to serve that what was out so I got it but wasn't pleased just didn't want to be confrontational. I walked away and not 5 minutes later he brought another slab of brisket out. I did talk to a manager and I told him that my food is being weighed and I just want to be pleased he did inform me that the cooks were not instructed to operate that way and took that meat back and have me the slice that I wanted.

harassment from manager
I work at the golden corral in Las Vegas Nevada as a server and team leader. Since I started about a year and a half ago we have gone through numerous managers. Right now we have 7 or 8 managers and they can't get it together.from the time I started to a couple of months ago we had roaches so many that customers complained and would get refunds for them crawling on their table while eating...some would kill them and then show you multiple dead ones in a napkin and leave without making a big deal. I used to get so anxious working in the sections where they were the most knowing at least couple tables will complain...I think they are gone but who knows for how long it's one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever worked at. We then had a bed bug infestation in a booth having complaints of people going to hospital with bites. First they said it was a spider nest but come to find out later it was bed bugs. I buy bleach cleaner and dishsoap to work with me to try and clean the dirty areas that no one will...we don't even have a vacuum cleaner there only brooms and dustpans..I know I'm a very good worker I've been serving for 17 years and rarely get any complaints..I don't even eat there unless I start feeling sick from not eating all day then maybe a few bites of something to keep me over until I get home...so I try to make sure my section is as clean as I can for my guests happy guest means they'll usually come back and means better tips. Many servers, managers, and even customers have commented about how much I do there..I have been the last two GM's favorite and worked only the shifts they worked. I was told only a few weeks after I started that I was getting a raise and the day before a girl was telling me that no one gets raises there.. there is a second location that should be opening soon so they had asked some servers if interested in being managers and 5 give or take all said no so it was given to a nineteen yr old server/line who had quit once and came back..since the day she became a manager it's been non stop harassment and lies about me to another manager to get me fired..I have had other managers tell me the things she has lied about me...she is too immature and is on a power trip. She helps her boyfriend clean and close let's her friends do and get away with anything but if I did anything like that she would make a huge deal most likely lie too. I have been getting so anxious I get sick before going and even during work...I don't know how much longer I can take it...i have had a few people tell me she is trying to get me fired. Internet said to make a complaint to hr not sure if this will even get there or not...so many things wrong at this place please help!

We arrived at Golden Corral at 7 pm. Literally almost no food on the line and what was left was all cold and it looked like it had been sitting there all day. Disgusting. I'm very upset because we paid 32 for 2 buffets when they didn't even have the " full " buffet. And we also had to wait a few min before someone decided to finally come and charge us for our meals, never coming back ! Well atleast not to this location. Manager was also rude and it looked like he didn't want to be working there.

I have a problem with dogs in a restaurant...I understand certain people have to have them. But this particular dog did not have the traditional vest that indicates it was a service dog, so this is VERY questionable...how is this hygienic? dog jumps on his table to request a sample...he handles the dog with his hands then handles the utensils on the buffet...can there be a special room for pets so that we can co exist? I'm just not comfortable eating next to a dog in a restaurant setting. I didn't enjoy my visit, thinking about all the possibilities: fleas, flying hair, accident on carpet etc etc etc.

On Oct 26 we visited the Alexandria La golden corral for lunch and were not given a senior discount because we were not given time to.let her know i asked could she not tell. She was a young black woman who was VERY rude .im American Indian my husband is white. She replied she couldn't tell, we all look alike. RACIAL SLUR DISCRIMINATION. HER name tag said Angel but sje was so rude GOD made is all if you cut us we all bleed red she jaf no right to yall to us that way. Is this racist or what. Need a nicer cashier
