I went to Golden Corral located in Inverness, Florida. I had not been there for about 12 years or so, took me and my 13 year old daughter to eat at buffet. We got there probably around little after 7 or so. I used to go there years ago but have not been and because my daughter has never eaten there I figured to a good idea and take her. She loves chocolate covered strawberries and heard few people talk about it. Paid 35.00 at the register. Went to go eat and look at buffet, was practically going around in circles because the foods looked terrible. Looked very old, can tell been sitting in the buffet for a long period, some foods had crust because it was drying up. Only thing I grabbed was some fried chicken and cat fish fillet and baked fish, which sort of looked like they just put it out. We both didn't enjoy anything that we thought would be tasty. So, she even decided to go get some salad to say that maybe that will taste okay and fill her up some. Come to find out, she said it tasted horrible too. The only thing she ate was some chocolate covered strawberries. She tried some cookies and ended up spitting up and discarding because she said it tasted like someone who baked and didn't use any sugar. I am usually the type of person who goes to buffets and usually it is the other people waiting for me to finish eating but at the Coral, I tried to eat a drumstick and some rice and couldn't even eat that. I was so disappointed that I was thinking to ask for a refund, I have never gone any restaurant and want to ask for refund. Because my daughter ate those strawberries, I didn't bother wanting to ask. The waitress came to us twice. Once when she seated us and other is when she filled my daughters drink. When I went there long time ago, I went frequently and went back thinking and expecting same service as well as good food. Sadly disappointed to say that I will not be going back. I don't know who is running that place but all appearance of the whole restaurant looks and feel like total trash. I felt like I was over dressed even though I wasn't, that is the type of restaurant and environment vibe it felt like. Not pleasant at all. I left the waitress 5 dollars so in all spent 40 dollars to buffet meal traveling 15 miles to go eat there. I do not mind traveling for I travel 45 mins to go eat at an all u can eat Chinese buffet. and their buffets are cheaper and bigger with foods that are appealing even if I don't know what it is. Someone needs to go and create a different expectations with employees, food as well as the whole facility. I have never in my 49 years wanted refund for food. The staff was really rude and disrespectful when I asked for a drink one of the workers refused to give me one. When I asked to speak with the manager she told me "no he's not here ". When I asked for the corporate number so that I can file a complaint they refused and tried to give me their email address. When I asked her about it the worker told me quote on quote " to get tf out of her face".
No and refusing to give you something is not the same as rude.

I am A Carmon I had the unfortunate experience at the Golden Corral 923, 2190 IH 10 South, Beaumont Texas 77705 - my girlfriends decided to take me to Golden Corral because I was in town dealing with family member major health issues in ICU at one of the local hospital we walk in I put my receipt on the table underneath a glass of water and my girlfriends began to explain the Golden Corral buffet rules ( because I am a novice to Golden Corral). However when we get back to our table Aida the waitress has cleaned the table and thrown away my receipt; As we approached the table where I left my receipt along with my glass of ice cold water- she Aida and a male co worker rudely and embarrassing laughing at us asking for our receipt- when we attempt to explain they were on the table she began speaking loud people were looking at us as if we were attempting to steal your food- this person did come over never introduced herself but said she was a manager was not apologetic for the error her staff made neither did her employees apologize for there error they actually laughed at us - the reprinted receipt I was later given check: F-5302 date: 5/5/18 time of date: 12:07 amount $15.14

We have always enjoyed going to Golden Corral to eat... We had been there a few months ago, and when I got the attention of the cook behind the bar and showed him the chicken which was rock hard (and I'm not exaggerating) he said, he'd eat it... The food that day looked presentable.. So, I let that go... But, it shurely told me the food wasn't being rotated as the law requires.
Yesterday, being March 10th, we ate there about 4pm.. It was very crowded, We were charged $30.00 because it was a steak night.. first of all, the food, who many commented on, was undercooked carrots, over cooked dried out broccoli, and the bar looked horrible. Food was dropped in one container, and another.. no one was attending the bar, there was no plates, no tables being cleared and no one filling drinks.. We saw our waitress once when she brought coffee for my husband.. Another issue I had was having to practically beg for a slice of steak.. there was a line waiting, and the server was putting the steak in a pan and setting it behind him.. I asked the lady beside me why, perhaps to let it "rest"? either way, I gave up and set down. I notice a man ask for steak, and the server cut a piece the size of a deck of cards, in half, seriously, and placed it on the guys plate, we just looked at each other.. it was obvious and insulting.. I want my money back cause I also threw up when I got home.. I immediately was nauseous after eating.. I want my money back... dead dried bug stuck inside of glass
On December 19 2018 my family and I went to our favorite restaurant. It was my 31st anniversary. Everything was going great until my husband discovered a dead dried bug inside his drinking glass he was drinking from (it was stuck on the inside on the side of the glass). I told the waiter he responded I'm sorry would you like another drink... Duh... I don't think so. My granddaughter took a picture of it. That really ruined my day.
management at the kingsport location
I'm a single mom with 2 kids. As a treat I take my 7 year old daughter and 2 year old son to Golden corral on Saturday mornings for breakfast. My son is highly functioning, autistic and he likes the interaction with the customers and employees there. It's one of the only ways I can get him to eat well. The manager there is one of the rudest human I've ever met. We go out of our way to be nice, tip well, and clean up after ourselves because the wait staff is working so hard and always so sweet to him. This particular manager can't seem to stand for my kids to leave their seats though. Today we were lucky to sit next to a very nice family with a small child. My son was playing with the little girl and we were all giggling. He's nonverbal so interaction is rare. While they played, my daughter sat her ice cream cone on an empty table. The mngr came near us and said that we needed to move the ice cream and I should control my kids. I was embarrassed but I apologized and we moved them immediately. The other tables around us seemed shocked and began reassuring me that "that's just how he is". A few minutes later my son spilled a small bowl of m and M's on the floor. Before I could clean them up the manager said in a very loud voice "ma'am your going to HAVE to control your kids. WE CAN'T HAVE THIS" (as he pointed at the floor). Again I apologized and said I would clean it up. By that point I was mortified and hurt. Both of my kids heard him along with at least 20 customers and employees. He continued to act like I was ALLOWING my son to make messes. I finally raised my voice and said "why are you always so rude to us? He's only 2!". This manager began yelling at me, saying that I'm being rude to everyone in the restaurant. It took everything I had not to cry as he told me it wouldn't be a good idea for us not to come back and we needed to leave. I'm nice to everyone. I, nor my children deserved to be treated like this. It's not the first time he's said things that were over the line but I've tried to be understanding because the food industry can be so stressful. I made it to the car before I broke down. I'll never go to another Golden corral again. As I understand it this man has had several complaints from both customer and staff. He passed rude and was flat out mean to a 2 year old child today. Someone like that shouldn't be in customer service. And p.s... on my way out I managed to tip my waitress and the waffle/omlett guy anyways. Because they're amazing and lovely. I truly hope they have a Merry Christmas. But Scrooge needs to go.

As far as your physical abuse, my parents had an extremely messy divorce when I was a child. I saw and witnessed some of the worst things ive ever seen and ever will see. But... Neither of them ever layed a finger or me or my 3 brothers, even the one on the spectrum.
You are throwing your children into your own mental breakdown. Please seek counseling. This is all anonymous so I have no bias. Your child will be my age and remember this. He will be hanging with his friends and out of the blue remember how his mom hit him because of her own frustrations with a golden corral manager.

my company phone I left in ontario ca. restaurant
On Dec. 2, 2018 at 12:34pm I left my phone on table in restaurant. When I went back a few hours later I was told they didn't find a phone. Upon one of the waitresses seeing me she told manager that she remembered me leaving my phone at it being put in a drawer. My phone hasn't been Found and I was told on the phone that cameras were reviewed and I was seen leaving my phone on table leaving a tip and walking out. twenty mins later a waitress is seen picking up phone and putting it in a drawer by register. Yet no one can find it and no one returns my calls. I have been told they are still reviewing cameras. I review surveillance videos on a daily basis and find it unbelievable that that is the reason why they are taking so long. My next step will be to get law enforcement involved.
thanksgiving dinner; the time and the service
Me and my family decided to go to Thanksgiving dinner at Golden Corral so we called in to see how long they would be open we got told they were going to be open until 9 p.m. so we went there at around 5 sat down and got a table then we overheard somebody saying that they're going to be closed at 6 will that will only give us an hour to eat we can't finish eating Thanksgiving dinner nicely without stuffing ourselves and 45 minutes. So I asked the manager to come over and talk to me she said that there is nothing she can do but the food will still be out what people have not eaten at 6 so you can still get it she also said go get all your plates and put them on the table so you have them there ahead of time which I thought was kind of Ludacris because you don't know what you're going to eat how much we're going to eat and we don't want to look like pigs either so we didn't do that I suggested could we take some food home and their to-go boxes and she said no that we could not do that so then we just tried to eat the best that we could and get in as much as we could and then I heard something on the intercom saying we are closing then I noticed they were rushing around putting food away the ice cream machine was getting cleaned out then I asked them for some gummy bears and they would not do that either all the food. Put away everybody was ready to go some of the staff had already left they had turned off the lights on us and that was at 6 after I've paid $105 for us to go to a nice family restaurant to sit there and eat to tell everybody what we're thankful for like we usually do fill out this thing for my son's school to tell what we're thankful for so he could take that in when he goes back and to have a nice meal but that is not what we received three received not getting full not getting what we wanted to eat getting lights turned off on us and rude rushing people so I hope somebody reads this that can help the situation because I really don't think it's fair that our Thanksgiving got ruined because Golden Corral couldn't tell the right times to people or at least let them know at the door or even stop letting people in at 5 and so that they everybody at least has an hour to eat and do the time's right
What is ludacris are two things. FIrst of all your spelling and grammar. Second your expecting the restaurant to be open normal hours on a Holiday. Why should a buffet allow you to take food home because you went close to closing? You are really selfish. Have you ever thought that maybe the staff want to go home and spend Thanksgiving with their families. Just because your family is too lazy to cook does not mean you have to inconvenience others by expecting them to stay late and not have that family time. Maybe you need to work on Thanksgiving and have to deal with arrogant people such as you and your family. You truly are selfish. You think that it is "unfair" that they could not get the right times. Are you sure that they said they close at 9pm. I mean you seem so dense that maybe you misunderstood them. Do you really think it is fair for them to have to work during Thanksgiving serving ungrateful brats like your family? I bet if they stopped letting you in at five you would complain about that as well because you were too lazy to cook and had to go hungry at Thanksgiving. Many people can eat in an hour. As a matter of fact some casino buffets limit the time for dining to an hour.
Just to let you know it was not lazy why we don't cook it is we alol don't eat meat in the family and to be honest I don't even like thanksgiving so I am not being selfish they should have said something and said something before we went in, and they didn't even close at 6pm like they said they did it at 545pm and picked everything up and they said that would not happen so it is not just the 1 thing that I am saying anything .
I am not lazy and i don't like thanksgiving i don't eat meat. i don't care if they want to spend thanksgiving with their family it does not matter when the door closes if we are not done until 10pm they should stay until then even if they close at 6pm. I have nothing to be thankful for this year my son really made me angry in the and i started hitting him and pulling his hair. as soon as school started he was crying when asked how he spent his summer, he told his teacher that he hates summer because i always hit him more well he annoys me. he was placed in a foster home and i cannot even spend thanksgiving with him i asked if i could have a visit and they said no then this golden corral ruins our meal. my friends and i got into an argument because they said i was loud and rude. now they don't w want to eat with me either. we had an argument about the closing time. one of my friends said that they said straight out that they would be shutting down the stations at 5:45 and close at 6pm. I said this never happened and she kept arguing with me until I threatened to slap her and punch her. no one talked to me during the meal and they did not talk to each other they blamed me for the tension.

When I arrived with my party of 7 we had to wait 30 min. Before we was seated because it was a big bus came in with a lot of people and they had to be serviced first complaint the server we had only made 3 trips to our table for refills which we was there til close and to make sure we was ok 2nd complaint the bathroom was horrible and nasty had clogged up toilets only one bathroom stall available I have pictures to show how nasty they were I also have pictures of the buffet starting to get taken down at 8:00 we was forced out of the restraunt by not be able to enjoy our dinner because most of the food was being put up even the ice cream machine management told me there wasn't anything he could do about it I am very disappointed in our visit I had to travel a far ways to get to this location I stay on Florissant, MO and traveled 25-30 min. early prices for seniors
I went to Golden Corral in joliet, il for early pricing. I was there at 3:50pm with 3 people ahead of me. One employee named Petra was there trying to give drinks and take people's payments. When I got to register register changed to dinner pricing. I had to leave and so did 2 seniors behind me. They should have 2 people working with two registers opened during senior pricing . It needs to be re-evaluated. Thank you.

This is the second time im submitting a complaint about this avondale Arizona location the food was not up to par when we asked for the manager our waitress seem to disappear. I'm sitting in the restaurant on Miller lane and a customer comes in with two big dogs rockwildder and they both not blind they tied the dogs up to the table and went straight to the bar and fixed there plates without washing their hands l told the manager and nothing was done ... now l know why l get sick every time I eat here never agan.. they even barked at each other trying to fight over food..
the whole damn service
This is for the Golden Corral in Milwaukee, WI. The service was trash. My mac and cheese had the colors red and green in it. The server waited god damn 30 min to get me a coke which I didn't even pay for she just handing out free drinks like she runs the place. She walked around with spoons in her hands for damn near 10 min before she ignored me to get some coke. Oh and the manager john was trying to throw hands with a customer complaining about the poor service. So [censored] you john. I spent 35 dollars at Golden Corral and wanna throw up the trash food that was discolored and slap the terrible servers tell they learn how to serve, because honestly this place needs to be shutdown. I want my money back. I didn't even eat that much it was so garbage. Finally, the waiter spilled my coke I waited 30 min for on my sweatshirt that is white. Please refund me and give me dry cleaning money, Porfavor.
mistreatment
I go to Golden Corral most Sundays and lately I have been enjoying the new ice cream. The baker there is always nice and this Sunday I saw a manager in a yellow shirt talking to the employee that was making cotton candy harshly about the baker that works on sundays. She was complaining that the baker had been there for a hour and half and she was not happy with her work. The baker stepped into the conversation and explained that she had only been there for 45 minutes and was saying what all she had done; however, she did not say that she had gotten me ice cream! The manager in the yellow shirt then spilled an entire bag of gummy bears onto the floor and asked the baker she was complaining about to clean the mess up!
We go to concord golden corral ..the best one in n.c. if you want good service ask for Brandon or Sara. They are the only two who really make sure you leave happy..we have had every server there. Brandon and Sara are true professionals...so nice and they really care. We never have to ask for a refill or anything for that matter...if they aren't there we leave. Brandon and Sara need to train all servers for this chain
