I have had difficulty with many of the goodwills in San Diego. I feel I am under inspection every time I go inside one. To the point I sometimes decide not to buy anything at all. Because of their behavior towards me which includes standing around doing nothing but chatting but in the way when I try to walk. And or being in the same small area where I am, there are often others in the same area but I feel the threat of the security guards. In fact, I notice when I go to others they are not really friendly towards me even when I do pay for items instead of walking out without making a purchase. This is the problem it is illegal to make a police report unless a crime has been committed. I have never been arrested for shoplifting nor stealing. I have no convictions nor commitments. I have run into a lot of women with opinions towards brown skinned non Hispanic people. Not being catholic does not make me a criminal but accepting donations from people who simply removing them without proper authority is the same as receiving stolen goods. I keep all my receipts when I do shop at thrift stores and I resent the suggestion that I am a criminal just because I prefer to shop your stores. I actually feel resentment when I do buy something of quality from some of the cashiers but I am never sure how good it is nor where it came from. All those concerned citizens who have made suggestions need to be made aware by your people that they have already crossed the line and have in fact committed a crime.
Claimed loss: lack of respect for paying for goods
Desired outcome: No more suspicious comments about myself nor my person. The names of those making false statements .
