unethical grab driver
I left my office tag and Touch"n"Go card (by accident) in the Grab car (car no. WC5466F) on 28.2.2018. I called Grab hotline requesting help to retrieve the said item from the driver. So I texted and called the driver on the same day, after procuring the driver's phone no [protected]) from Grab hotline, to set up a place and time for the driver to return my items. The driver said he will give me a call once he is in area. I texted him again on 1.3.2018 but no response. After 1 month ++, I texted the driver again on 10.4.2018. Fyi, I need to make a police report in order for my company to give me a new office tag so I told the driver that. He eventually replied stating that he will put my item at any nearest police station and he will text me the location. So around 11 pm, he texted me the location. So, the next day I went all the to Balai Polis Sg. Way to pick up my item. I discovered my Touch"n"Go card has been used by him. My card balance was RM45.85 before it was missing but now, it has only 76 sen in it. I am quite upset and shocked by this. Please do something about this unethical driver so that it won't happen to anyone else.
driver cancelling booking
I made a Grab car booking at Kuching International Airport (Sarawak, Malaysia) yesterday morning but within a minute, the driver (white Proton Saga) cancelled after accepting and I had to look for another driver.The message I got was "car breakdown".
However, to my horror, I found the same Grab car that cancelled my booking claiming to have broken down 2 minutes later at Kuching airport, arrival gate 2!
This was recorded under "History" in the app.It has the driver name, plate number and car make and model.
Now that Uber is gone, I worry that some drivers might take advantage and go for passengers or routes that are more lucrative!
Coincidentally I live about 10 minutes away from the airport.
I hope that the management and local authorities look into this so consumers won't be disadvantaged!
To Grab drivers, out there...if you're not sure then don't accept the booking! You won't have a job if it weren't for us passengers.
about an unruly driver
hi i had an experience with grab driver yesterday, the driver was so rude yesterday. Yesterday, i accidentally slammed the door of his car and he shouted at me just because of that. he could have said it pollitely but he shouted at me and i also asked him whether if he could follow an another alternative route which makes the distance become shorter and is toll free. The guy shouted at me again saying that his car would get damaged and he wants to follow the original way and if we wanna follow the another routes, he told us to get out of the car
He also asked us to pay extra because he had to come back without any customers where we guys are paying around rm48 + toll fee, and he wants us to pay extra

8/4/2018 we ordered a grab. Got a driver. He did not stop at the right pick up point so we need to do small walk to get to his car. When I am already inside the car (my phone was inside my pocket) i did cancellation by mistake. So the driver being furious and kicked us out just like that and he decided to pick up new passanger right away. Zero tolerant and like we did not exist in the car.
unprofessional attitude of grab office crew at jaya one hq kuala lumpur
I have experienced to visit grab office in jaya one 5th floor last Monday. Becoz one of my friend who use to drive drive grab car Fe months back brought me there becoz friend who is now driving Uber want to receive register for grab car. But the terrible dealing of the office staff made my friend cried. We wasted around 5 hours there but the staff seems to be proud enough as becoz they may have in their minds being the sole operater of the ride healing compnay in malaysia now. They said their bosses say go pay rm1000+ to some car rental grab car agent first if u want to activate the account. My friend produced all record of payments but they said no go pay more there becoz their boss asked this when we ask we want to see the boss they said no cannot. Then they said some one from their office will call my friend with in the same day. Such a terrible behave and unprofessional as well they were forcing the driver to pay that agent first. Then I checked with my friend have any one called u from grab the friend say no. This shows the grab office crew must have commission involved with the agents that's why they are treating drivers like [censor]. Now as the Uber apps will stop working in next two days for sure the poor drivers have no option other than paying unfair cash to grab car rental agents to us egrab apps. Really terrible. But grab management must know if they will keep their attitudes like this soon some new competition will come and. They can fall down also. I wish grab management will take my comments seriously and instruct their staff not handle the drivers like their slaves. I observed for 5 hours 99% matters were referred to the car rental agents by the crew. Their lunch break is three hours also I hope government authorities must take notice of all this thanks I wish poor drivers will not cry due to the monopoly of grab car and some good healthy competitor must come to this industry at earliest to rescue the needy drivers
Extra Charge
My aunty was heading to airport. So its normal for a passenger to bring more than one luggage with them. She brought 1 L size and 2 M size of luggage and 1 luggage (for toddler)
*Then my question is, can a grab driver charge additional fees to the passenger because of the luggage?*

I am complaining quality of grab drivers
Early in the morning is not many driver supply.So driver can choose passanger and wasted my time? I am need go to work at this time and been cancelled by driver 3 times!And this driver is most poor service and No service provided!What kind of this person? After he drop off his passanger and my pick up points just beside him within 3 mins and he straight go to my destination without pick up me! I called many times and he no answer and no reply msg at all! I saw he is moving and i waited half an hour and finally he reach my pick up point and he CANCELLED! Is he feel like normal or i should face this happened as normal?This kind of person can be earn anything from GRAB like this? Do you think this is fine?What about GRAB users? What's a funny joke!
I am complaining about customer
I am a grab driver, received job at 10:46pm pick up point Jalan Loji distance 4.32km and heading to the pick up location. When almost reach the pick up location, 200m before the pick up point customer cancel the booking without inform ( ADR-[protected]-3-008). Kindly take some action against this type of customers, driver always have to pay extra fuel cost because of this kind of customer

For grabcar rider app must have:
1. Total number of rider eg, maximum 4
person with 4 big luggage that does not
fit for eco grabcar automatically will make
rider choose for grab 6 seater.
2.grabplus; ONLY maximum for 4 person
with small bag eg. small bag pack or
small luggage for every person.
3. Grab 6 seater; 6 person without luggage
but small sport bag or 4 person with
medium luggage or one person with 4
extra size luggage.
As a driver i often facing problem when rider book for grab eco but with more than 4 person or 4 big person with extra big or number of luggage. Rider often book grab plus with hope will got 6 seater car. This is abusing 6 seater category. and i hope 6 seater will remove from justgrab cause rider think when they book justgrab and luckilly got 6 seater so they think can ride with 6 person as well. Lastly for safety to your driver i suggest only person with valid ID can use grab service. Eg. no more funny name like iphone, Mr Ah Seng that actually african and a few more
This is only my suggestion for better grab for both driver and rider.

I have to receive message from Grab about my grabcar plus service has been remove from my account. As my own experience for Accepts min 80% of Grab Car Plus booking is impossible to get it. because for Grab Car Plus passenger is not more than 10% per day and passenger is more smart select JustGrab they will be enjoy to get Grabcar Plus or 6-seater Car for them. so is very unfair and to treat our drivers.
If I using GrabCar Plus service waiting for order the order will surely get all JustGrab order how can I to cancel the order. Same like Using 6- Seater service olso is the same problem is effect my ratings and acceptance %.
For this My Destination function should be open the all location not lock it and control us to set our destination. Please look into for this matter.

Yesterday 20/3/2018 I have cancel a grab driver booking... after cancel the booking, I book other grab driver again. But suddenly the first grab driver call for me and ask where am I... I told her I have cancel her booking, she keep argued with me loudly! And ask who is going to pay her car fee?! She said she din lie to me, is it mean that I'm lied to her?! I have show my phone to her that I alr cancel the booking and call other grab driver, but she said her phone still showing my booking! What is the problem?! Pls update grab notification system to grab driver! And the first grab driver attitude is bad! She's a Indian aunt, after she argue with us she use Indian language and scold us! Is this a service attitude for every customer?!

driver is not professional
I've booked a morning trip for my work today. Driver takes 8 mins to reach my place shown on Grabcar apps. After that, he took a ampang rountine to pavilion (which my destination). After, he just went back to his workshop without asking for my permission to go back to take his own things. After 3 mins, he start back him routine fetch me to my destination but in awhile he go to ampang petronas petrol station to pump oil at 9.30am. This is unacceptable, he doesn't ask for permission weather I'm rushing or not to do his own things. Ended up I late to work reach pavilion at 10am. Which this routine supposed to be 20-30 mins from my pick up place (taman Lembah maju to pavilion) including traffic jam. But it took me 1 hour to reach my destination because of the driver didn't take responsibility as a Grabcar drive and not professional at all.

Yesterday night I was book a grab to go back my temporarily home stay for working and this driver was came.
The driver is sit beside driver seat and her husband was drives. I'm no going for refuse because I think that was safety because I saw the driver and i believe that the emergency call of apps. Besides I also send my trip to inform my parents I was on the way go back home.
Everything is fine and we have a good gossip on this and I give them my name card because they said perhaps they need consult in future.

unresponsive driver
on 14/3/2018 when i was at johor jaya seroja 33 want to went back to mutiara emas taman mount austin at 9.25-9.30pm. I make a call to grab and a driver on the booking. At that time my phone show me the driver was at johor jaya area took around 5-6 min to arrive my destination while the mean time i continue to chat with my friend inside her house. I keep on waiting and keep on send message to the driver because i worried he cannot find the house no.I saw from my phone the grab driver already drive to ehsan jaya.I called him but unreachable. He did not cancel the trip and let me waited about 15 min, i send him several message he did reply me .i felt so angry because the driver keep on told that he reached the destination twice but i never saw him.i called to customer service and feedback this issue they help me to cancel the route and ask me to make another order. I just felt disappointed why the driver don dare to cancel the trip and waste my time waiting like foolish. hopelly grab can improve the quality of service.

Hard to find a driver at this timing. Morning 7:30am despite many driver around. And the driver I get (I choose top rated driver) ask me to cancel again.
I tried normal grab, top rated driver and premium grab. All no1 accepting. The only I get ask me to cancel.
During the cancel process, he never ever moved. And reply very slowly trying to asking me to cancel the booking.
Very disappointing even for "top" rated.

i made a booking for my boss from indonesian embassy to tradewinds plantation berhad. after waiting almost 30 minutes, i call the driver to know his exact location since his location with indonesian embassy is not far. the driver said he want to drop the passenger first and he will pick up my boss later.but after a 15 minutes, he still not picking up. i do call him and ask whether he will pick up my boss or not.if not, please cancel the booking but the driver refuse to cancel it.he said he will.but after 15 minutes more of waiting for the stupid driver, he still not fetching my boss and start to reject my call. and then my boss said that, he come but he threaten my boss and ask her to get out from his car. my boss was so scared so she did what the driver asked her to. i am grab regular customer and this situation really make me pissed off and scared. im definitely not taking any grab service anymore because of this stupid driver and im not hesitating to viral this to socmed to create awareness between us. please take further action on the driver. the rude person like him is not supposed to work in a great company like grab. thanks!

The driving of this Grab taxi driver on that day was OK hence i gave good rating back then, however i learnt something from this driver which has disturbed me very much indeed. After i booked this trip (based on JustGrab booking), i called this driver to request him to arrive faster as i am late for my office.He arrived, and after getting into the car, this driver during my journey in the taxi, told me NOT TO USE GRAB IF I AM IN A HURRY SOMEWHERE.
He says it is common practise the taxi drivers use another e-hailing app besides Grab and they have the tendency to ignore the existing Grab booking if they found a better rate ($$) in the other e-hailing app and picks-up that customer eventhough an earlier booking has already been made by a Grab customer. Taxi drivers will accept the booking on the other e-hailing
app and totally ignore the existing booking in the Grab and WILL NOT SHOW UP, and expecting the Grab customer to cancel the booking.
I asked the Grab taxi driver, if the Grab company will take action if they found out this unethical practises are going on among taxi drivers.
He did not feel worried, he gave me a response that indicated that either Grab is not bothered of such incident or they will not take any action.
I heavily condem the practise of taxi drivers NOT SHOWING UP for an existing GRAB booking, by accepting another e-hailing app booking with better ($$) rate that comes after the Grab booking confirmed.This is totally Unethical! By doing this the taxi drivers are fooling the Grab customers. Naturally the customerwill loose the confidence he/she has in Grab and paints a bad picture for Grab.
Now i do not not know if non-taxi Grab drivers also practises this unethical practise. But i can confirm that this practise is being done by grab taxi drivers because i heard it from the taxi driver's own mouth.
Hope Grab company do something to STOP this unethical practise for their own good and for the sake of the innocent customer who is getting fooled!

Hello,
I am sending this complaint in order to report for impolite grab driver.
This situation occur on 7 March 2018 at 08:55AM location at LRT Taman Bahagia, Kelana Jaya destination to Kelana Square, Kelana Jaya.
The grab driver has cancelled my booking without asking me or tell me to cancel the booking. I've been waiting him for more than at least 10 minutes after the booking time.
After at least 10 minutes, suddenly he cancelled my booking whilst I have to take another train to Kelana Square and walk about 1.2km because there is no available driver at that time.
Along with this email, I attach my screenshot of my booking. I hope the Grab Service Centre look after to my report and take action to that impropriate and impolite driver in order to keep the goods in Grab services. I wish there's no more driver like him.

I think he cancelled your booking because he missed the turn to your location and it results in long distance pick up point and it's not worth it for him to pick you up.
I have bad experience with grab too, but I didn't make an assumption too early. I tried to drive grab for a week and I knew what's the matter actually. You should try to drive first. And for your info, the driver has its own rights to accept you or not because he is a freelance that only using grab as a platform. He do maintenance for his car himself, he will absorb all the cost if accident happen (grab won't resposible for any damages to the car). Grab only taking advantage on the driver. You should think twice before you made complaint. If you feel that grab or uber is totally hassle, you should take a cab instead of grab / uber. But why you ain't taking a cab? Because you want it to be cheaper right? Hence, deal with it. Life is not smooth everytime 😜
