Green Dot Walmart money card green dot

Hi i am so upset & angry with this Walmart Money Card/Green Dot. Since Nov.15,2022. They took 116.00 out of my ssi/ssa direct deposit and i never authorized this! I had to use my roommates Walmart Money Card/GreenDot to have my checks deposited. I was a victim of freud/identity theft & filed report right away. This was a temporary situation til i got an my own account. My roommate card had unauthorized charges /or overdrawn which 116.00 they took out! They told him would take 45 days to investigate. I called immediately & they said they would never take those kind of checks but they did. Told me nothing he could do but wait 45 days. Also, I have never been in possession or used his card! Only to have my direct deposuted and take it out.I have been calling green dot & those kids are rude, dont help, called walmart one girl said i should be getting it but call ssa office. Called 2 times but on hold too long! Wrote 3 letters to ssa office explaining what they did to me and how i was treated and really need my money! Also, sent my receipt for proof. Havent heard back wrote walmart corporate office and still nothing! Sending emails out to walmart & green dot, This is truley unacceptable! I am 66 disabled on a very low monthly income and it really has stressed me out trying to get my money back! Want some help to get it returned to me! Need to buy groceries asap!

Green Dot Walmart money card

01/20/2023; card has been declined although 382.75 balance remains.
Called & spoke with representative who sent these a text with a link for cash pickup barcode. Link to eendotnetwork.com with server error 404 - file or directory not found.
This was my second call with no satisfactory result.
I have also sent printed copies showing my remaining balance and asked for a refund by check.

Desired outcome: send $382.74

Green Dot Account closed due to "suspicious activity", greendot states i'm not able to access my $900 in the closed account

Greendot first blocked my account without sending a notification or any message at all stating my account was blocked. I figured it out for myself after my card didn't work. They created a case for me (case No. [protected]) to which I IMMEDIATELY submitted the required ID verification documents requested (sent to [protected]@greendotcorp.com and replied to their BARdocs email with the ID documents as requested too). I hear nothing from them but I continue calling every other day. It's been 5 days now; they finally tell me you're accounts closed due to "suspicious activity" and the only way you can get access to the funds in your account is to contact the payment originator of the last transaction in your account (for $900) and have THEM submit a dispute for that transaction, get it refunded back into their account, then have that person send the money to me in whichever way they choose. This is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. 1.) I have proof of every transaction on my statement, everyone who's sent me money, and transfer/payment receipts for each one (which I told them multiple times). There's no speculation here; I have detailed records and chats with every single person who has sent me money. AKA: I have concrete proof that this money is mine. 0 fraudulent activity. So, exactly what is suspicious then? I'm told "the money in your account can't be transferred because the system closed the account, not us" except they're asking me to get someone else to file a dispute for that transaction WHICH IS IN WRITING, meaning a Greendot employee looks over it and THEN refunds the payment after deciding in the transfer initiators favor, or in other words TRANSFERS THE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT INTO SOMEONE ELSE'S. Wait, so Greendot, didn't you just say the money couldn't be transferred out of my account because "it's the system not us", so then how are you able to look over this filed dispute, decide the payment should be returned after the transaction has posted and is fully complete, and transfer the money out of my account then? They're just spewing these BS statements at me over and over again on the phone telling me "it's not possible to get access to your funds again". I just proved that's a lie. Well, we will see about that after the complaints board, CFPB, BBB, and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency contact you regarding this issue. Might as well contact the state while I'm at it too. You will not take my money from me.

Desired outcome: Reopen my account, which I know you can do because you've done it for me before, or give me my money immediately. I will not stop til my funds are returned to me.

My boyfriend just got payed on the 24th and he had about $475.00 on his new Go2 bank card by Green dot Bank. He was having problems using this card so he called the customer service line for help so he could access his money from the atm,well that didn't happen because the lady on the phone said that he didn't answer one of her questions right and that she could send him a new card with the chip in it but that she could help him change his pin number and then he wouldn't have anymore problems using the card he has at the atm. So he changes the pin and we asked her 3 times are you sure there ain't going to be any problems with this card after I hang the phone up,she answerd yes I am sure sir you are good to go. Well we got to the store and the card had no money on it and the account has been closed down. So I finally talked to someone again and they had me send a picture of his id to bardocs and I still ain't heard anything from these people I need to know how.i can get my money back I have 2 children in diapers and I work hard for my money and this is just really crazy when I can't even go and buy diapers for my children on payday man. Please help me you can contact me or my husband at one of these numbers. [protected] or [protected],my name is crystal and my husband is Michael Wallace. Please help us we can't wait all weekend to get our money back the lady had no right to [censored] his account down with all his money in it and I hope she has kids and can't go buy what they need I hope she loses her job because Carla us a [censored] people. Green Dot Walmart mastercard money card

On October 31, 2021 I purchased 2 $500 Walmart Money Cards, one Visa for $500 which I didn’t have any problems with and the other Mastercard for $500 which I have yet to see one penny of my money. It was stolen before I could ever use my card. I have both receipts, made countless calls to Green Dot bank and countless visits and calls to the Amite, LA. Walmart's store where I purchased these two cards and I’ve received ZERO/NO HELP from either. I can’t begin to tell you the case #’s I was assigned, at least 50 or more. You go thru the same ordeal every time with the same people that can hardly speak English, let alone understand it. It’s been the most horrible experience I’ve ever gone thru and I know this is going to fall on deaf ears as well. When you give your money to Walmart to purchase a card that’s issued by Green Dot Bank, you just as well take your money and throw it in the trash can at Walmart. It’s the most no good thieving bank you will ever deal with. These people are horrible. Don’t chance it, take your money elsewhere. You don't do business with these people. They are going to take your money! Not as much as $1.00

Green Dot Restricting my card

Received a $350.00 card as a Christmas gift (Christmas 2022) from my 80 year old uncle who lives on Soc sec - so this is no small sacrifice for him. I registered the card, giving up all my personal information. I made ONE purchase. Then I got a text that the card was restricted because of suspicious activity AND that my info wasn't verified. Then Green Dot sent me an email telling me to upload a photo of my ID. I uploaded my ID. They said photo was blurry and to redo it. It wasn't blurry but I retook the photo based on their recommendations. They sent another email and text after the second photo upload and said the upload was bad photo again and card was still blocked. I somehow found their customer service number online. They hung up on me multiple times when I began to give them play-by-plays of the details. The last call, I BEGGED (... begged) the OFF SHORE customer service rep "PLEASE, DO NOT HANG UP ON ME". I shared all the details with this cust svc rep, he put me on hold about 5 minutes came back and said, "card is still blocked because they havent received any uploads from me." LIE. LIE! Why would they send texts and emails that say "photo is blurry..."? He gave me a different email address to upload my ID again. WHAT!

GREEN DOT IS A SCAM! We have to do A CLASS ACTION

Desired outcome: There is money on a card GIVEN TO ME! I WANT the MONEY that was given to ME!!!! My 80 year uncle was NOT giving Green Dot Corporation a FREAKING DONATION!!!!!!!

Green Dot Walmart money card

Christmas Eve I paid $500 at self checkout for a Walmart money card , there was no CVV or security code when I went home and tried to activate it. Couldn’t get ahold of cardholder services due to not having the security code and needed it to input into the phone. Went and bought another prepaid card just to be able to call them, when I got ahold of them they said I needed original receipt and had to go somehow get that from Walmart , went back to Walmart debates with customer services for over an hour until I finally got a hold of a manager who went through camera footage and got me my receipt. By the time I had gotten back ahold of greendot with all this info they told me the card was locked for fraud. Started a complaint process and asked me to provide pictures of the receipt and card to a specified email with the case number as the subject title. I did . And within a few days they told me they are not liable because there was no funds remaining on the card and I had somehow relayed the card info(that I never even had the security code for) to somebody else . ALL OF THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND I AM ON THE VERGE OF LOSING MY HOUSE BECAUSE I CANT MAKE THE PAYMENT. THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CONSUMER. I will do everything in my power to pursue this until it is resolved and I am refunded my measly $500.00 from this billions of dollars worth corporation . I have filed a complaint with the bbb and federal reserve next steps are contacting every law office possible until one thinks they can manage taking on this giant of a mega corporation thief. This needs to be resolved before I lose my house and me and my children are homeless

Desired outcome: Refund plus late fees. I’m not seeking anything crazy. Just pay me the money I paid you. Where did it go. This is absolutely insane

Green Dot My check being sent

Green dot has had my money in an account since 12/2021. I have tried to send documents for over 3 months now just to try to prove who I am and after all the attempts they closed my account! Corporate resolutions told me they would send me out a replacement check on November 22. 2022 and it would take 30 business days to receive it. I still have not got it. I have 6 kids to take care of and bills! I cannot believe they are getting away with this. They are a complete scam. I have already made several complaints and now contacted my local news office.

Green Dot Purchase made online with card

On 2/7/21 I was looking for security cameras on the APP OfferUp and saw an add for some cameras for $60.85 and clicked on it and it took me to www.dhswcl.com I made the purchase and the funds were taken out of my account by Nixght.Today,ID 83401 I took a screenshot of the add and the next day I tried to contact the company by email about a receipt and shipping time but am getting no response they have no phone number listed just an email contact [protected]@outlook.com

the address listed on their website is 149 Fond du Lac St Waupun, Wisconsin 53963.

I went back to look at the add on OfferUp and it is now gone and I get no response from repeated emails sent to them I contacted OfferUp about this and they said because it was a purchase made outside of their App they could do nothing about it.

I contacted Walmart Moneycard the card was issued by Green dot Bank about the transaction and I was sent me a message that they are unable to reverse charges because they are not responsible for the delivery, quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of goods and services that I purchase from others with my card.

So I contacted Green Dot Bank and was given a case number

Desired outcome: My $60.85 back in the form of a good check.

Green Dot debit card

these cards are total fraud. They sell them for $2.95, but in small print on back indicate an immediate $7.95 charge, monthly. Make you give all kinds of personal information to create an account, that you need to even use the card, then freeze the account until they get additional personal information. Very deceitful and poor product. Upload feature does not work smoothly, customer service is from foreign country, hard to understand and can't help. Unable to get refund or return cards, highly advise not use.

Desired outcome: Full refund on all accounts, no fees.

Green Dot I need the account unblocked

I'm currently dealing with a blocked card for "suspicious activity". They say they cant give me details due to the severity. Its been a week and 1 day since the block, sent my dl 3 times as requested. They keep telling me they're not receiving the email. I have money in my vault and apparently there's nothing I can do about it. All I get is it'll be unlocked in 2 business days. I dont know what to do

Green Dot Walmart prepaid Visa gift card

Was given a 100.00 gift card for my daughter for Christmas, in order to use it online, it had to be registered, which I did. I go to use it 2 days later, and I find out some company in Texas angelthreads was sent the whole 100. I didn't go anywhere for the card to be accessed, so this is some internal scam going on. I called the phone number for fraud and oddly only could do it from my cell phone.. the representative gave me a claim number completely different from the one they emailed me.. i honestly can't believe this.Hopefully I get better results than most.

Green Dot green dot card

Back in 2017 I had a green dot card it was in may and I was going to celebrate my daughter's 1st birthday. I had money on my card and I had lost the card. The customer service was really bad when I asked to get my money back and to replace my card. They told me to send a picture of my driver's license to verify my identity and then when I had sent my picture ID they told me that the picture was too blurry in the copy I had made and that they needed other forms of ID. I never recieved help or my money and it was money I recieved through ssi and ssdi.

Desired outcome: I just want my money back from all those years ago that I never recieved.

Green Dot Walmart green dot money card

I had a refund from my school go from my school to their banking partner bankmobile to the wrong account ofwalmart greendot money card .the account does not belong to me.

It was sent out on the 18th of November and greendot has lied to me ever since then .they will not return my money to the sender which is bankmobile after they have requested the funds over and over and they hang up on me and now they are saying that bankmobile has to physical write to greendot requesting the funds in a envelope. They waited almost a month to tell me this. I'm going to sue them if they don't return my funds

Green Dot Green dot bank, keeping my money in a closed account.

On December 2nd, 2022, I received a direct deposit from unemployment on my green dot card for over $9000 of back pay that they owed me. I went to my other bank which is cedar point credit union to take off $3000 off my green dot card. The next day 12/3/22 I purchased a new phone on my green dot card. I tried to use my green dot card again and it was declined so I called green dot and asked what was going on with my account. They then told me my account was reported fraud and they locked my account and closed it with my funds still in there. I called 15/20 times talked to at least 3 supervisors and they all said the same thing "they won't give me my money and there is nothing they can do. I sent in a picture front and back of my license 3 different times and they said I have a synthetic identification. I tried to recover my account and asked what else can I do just to get my balance out of that account, but they will not give me no other options. All I want is my money out of the account, the account can stay closed if they can just send me a check with my balance that would be appreciated because it seems to me after talking to multiple different people, they are just trying to steal my money.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate an apology on how they acted forwards me when I've had this account for almost 4 years with them. I just want a refund of the exact amount in my account currently.

do not use this service at all norton took money out of account called green dot they shut my card off charged me for new card charged me overdraft fee I pay for 3 day shipping did not get card for 14 days caused me to be late on paying my bills late fees for monthly bills cost over 435.16 said they would dill with norton ap which I have not had service with them for 2 years green dot lied said they would contact them [censored] still have not if you want to get [censored]ed over go green dot if not find different bank card they dont give a [censored] about people on disability and charges out the [censored] for atm fee around 3.00 and only can get 200.00 at a time then green dot charges 3.00 also so you have to pay rent 500 your out 18.00 just to get 500 and it take 2 days for it i been getting the run around since 11/25/2022 on this matter and now they say another 10 to 15 days its [censored] just stay away from green dot please

Green Dot Walmart visa gift card

I received a $100 Walmart Visa Gift Card (issuing bank Green Dot Corp) in it’s original unopened packaging in January of 2022 as a gift. On August 12, 2022 I intended to use the funds on this card for a purchase. I proceeded to register the card using the website provided on the back of the card and discovered there was a $0 balance on the card. Looking at the card agreement provided with the card, in paragraph 3 it states in order to report card lost or stolen, file a dispute, make internet, phone or mail order purchases the card has to be registered. In calling the number on the back of the card [protected], after explaining my case and getting transferred and disconnected multiple times, they confirmed the card had been loaded with the funds and there was a transaction in the amount of $100 to Geico Auto in Washington D.C. on March 7, 2022. I have never done business of any kind with Geico Auto. I then asked to file a dispute and was told that I authorized the transaction. Since I know I had not authorized this transaction and based on how I read the card agreement, such a transaction by anyone else should not have been authorized since card had not been registered at time of transaction. I called back in again and after the run around, filed another dispute. 10 days later another letter stating they stood behind the decision of first dispute case. I called back in again to file another dispute and asked for supporting documents to their decision from first two cases. I also sent a letter requesting same but no response to request. The third dispute resulted in they were going to refund the $100. Problem is they can’t put funds back on card because they closed the account and card is not reloadable. I was told I’d be getting a refund check. I have made three attempts so far after the two weeks they promise to get the check comes and goes. Each call I get the run around and an excuse as to why a check never gets issued.

Green Dot Account unblocked

I been with this company more than 8 years. Called customer service due to unauthorized transaction. They dispute charges and lick my account, now 8 months later still locked and under review, everytime you talk to customer service it’s Indian people sound like they working from home, transferring you to one person to another, not mention they sent my monthly befits back. I am so heartbroken, I really enjoyed banking with them.

Green Dot Green dot stole $450

11/30/2022. I got a direct deposit at 12pm. At about 12:15pm I went to use the ATM. 2 different ATM's. There was an error message and said to contact the card company. But I could still make a purchase in a store. I tried again at another ATM around 2pm. Same message appeared. I called GreenDot and the lady on the other line started acting suspicious then connected me to customer service and I was cut off 2 times. The 3rd time I called and hung up on the lady because she wanted to also connect me to customer service. As soon as I hung up the phone rang, and it was a guy that said he was from customer service and he's sorry about the problem. Asked me the same suspect information the 1st lady did and as soon as I hung up with him, I got an email FROM GREENDOT stating that $450 has been transferred to another account. I called GreeDot and of course they tell me to fill out a dispute form and mail it back. Before the dispute form even made it out of the post office, my card was locked, and a message said my dispute was already dismissed. The dispute form hasn't even made it to GreenDot. Can ANYONE tell me how GreenGot is NOT responsible for this?

Desired outcome: I want my $450 mailed in the form of a check. I no longer, after 5 years, use GreenDot not do I trust them.

Green Dot Go2Bank

I received a call from Green Dot today asking that I return the phone call at the number of [protected]. I reported this issue to Green Dot a week ago, as well to the FDIC.

I have been calling this number for two weeks. Go2Bank has blocked/closed my account and refuses to return my emails or whatever phone calls get through. Once again, I called the above-mentioned phone number. I asked for a supervisor. After a 15-minute hold, I hung up. My account is "restricted" when anyone looks up my account.

I have asked that my funds be released through their "close-account" instruction. This is not happening. Without contact with this bank, my Social Security went into this account and, of course, returned to Social Security. I opened another account at a banking institution. I have been so inconvenienced with the unprofessionalism of this establishment. I am 72 years old, on Social Security, my only source of income. Further, not releasing the remaining funds in my account has added to further humiliation.

Desired outcome: I would like to go to an ATM to withdraw the remaining funds in my account. I would appreciate a call indicating that I can, rather than making another wasted trip.

Green Dot Visa debit card

At 1:42pm, 11/15/22, I purchased a $400.00 VISA Debit Card (from Green Dot Bank) at Kroger's, 2100 Lowe's Drive in Clarksville, TN. The card # is [protected].

The Kroger receipt identifies the last four digits of the card sold as 0549.

I purchased the card for my daughter who was traveling to Arizona for Thanksgiving. When she arrived, she tried to register her card and was required to provide her social security number for that purpose. After creating the online and account and providing the information she was notified that the card did not exist.

My daughter attempted contact with Green Dot Bank numerous times. Replies to her email told her to try again. She did. The result, card not found. My sister with whom she is staying also tried to contact the bank or access the funds on the card without success. I made attempts as well with the same result.

It is impossible to speak to a person at Green Dot Bank. When you call the number you get a recording.

I talked to the manager at the Kroger's where I purchased the card and they said they have no responsibility for the debit cards, and they could not or would not furnish me with any other contact information for the vendor.

My sister in Arizona talked to a manager at the local Fry's (part of the Kroger chain) and received the same response.

It has been two weeks and there still is no way to access these funds.

I had not heard of Green Dot Bank before but, upon research, it seems a situation like my is not uncommon.

Desired outcome: I respectfully request a full refund on my $400 and an apology.David von Palko931-801-6706
