Hobby Lobby Stores Ribbon

Love Hobby Lobby but was told today they no longer carry Jesus Loves Me Ribbon but they had plenty of Rainbow Ribbon. Very disappointed. Amazon carries it, so I will just shop there for all my needs.

Michelle from the Sioux falls, SD store went over and above to assist in getting a canvas print. She tracked the shipment and notified me upon its status per store arrival of order. She went over and above in her communications!

Hobby Lobby Stores Love Hobby Lobby - great for all the begiining materials not so great for advanced

Love the store Hobby Lobby. I'll take it over JoAnn's any day. Customer service is hit or miss. When diving heavily into a craft I noticed they do not have more than the basics for the project you are working on. If you want to dive into it seriously then you need to find stores or websites that go a little more in depth. The 40% off coupon is wonderful but they do so many sales it's occasionally difficult to use. I wish they would open a few more stores in WA state. After several years I'm excited that they finally came to the east side. I can visit them monthly now instead of twice a year with an couple hour drive.

I am writing to formally complain about the rude behavior exhibited by a employee of at Hobby Lobby located at Store #.475 Modesto, California 95350 Address 2801 McHenry Avenue on Date of 11/2/2024 time 7:31p.m., by employee by the name of Charlene R. T-9412. During my visit on 11/02/2024, I was in the checkout line and as it was now my turn at the register. I asked Charlene if she could verify that the items I was purchasing was 50% off since where I had pick them up from on the shelf did not have a sign indicating they were 50% off Christmas items, Charlene responded in a dismissive tone, the items were 6 medium size buckets, Charlene then turns over to the bottom of the bucket and addressed me in a very rude manner and pointed to the sticker and stated twice "what does it say there", in return I stated it says sleigh bells This made me feel unwelcome and disrespected as a customer.” “The interaction left me feeling embarrassed and frustrated, which negatively impacted my overall shopping experience at Hobby Lobby.” "Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. Hobby Lobby Stores Bait and Swicth! BEWARE!

Building a Dollhouse Miniature for wife. Need to start the wiring for the house. Reseached wire kits on-line and Hobby Lobby pops up with a kit. Their website show it for $49.99 for a Cir-Kit Concepts kit (SKU: 396549) for $49.99. Directly above the kit picture and SKU is a coupon link, which shows the 40% off coupon. Great!
The store is only a few miles away, so we go. One kit left, same kit, same packaging, same SKU, but the price on the white label is $69.99. Go to the register and ask the cashier about the price difference, cashier calls over someone for approval. They said they would honor the $49.99 on-line, but I can't use the coupon. I show her the coupon link on their website for the item. Can't do it.
We ask for a manager, so Steve, Asst Manager (name tag) shows up. We have the same discussion again with him. Tell him I'm gong to contact their corporate office and I ask for his name, says he can't give out his last name. Now he says this kit is a "YOUR PRICE" and I can't use the 40% off coupon. Their is no "YOUR PRICE" sticker on the package. He says that it's the stores fault but I can have it at the YOUR PRICE of $49.99 (off the website) which means I can't use the coupon, even the website shows the coupon link, and even though it's not labeled an YOUR PRICE, or, I can have it at the $69.99 price and get the 40% OFF.
Now there is a line of 10-12 people behind us and one register open (like normal).
Now the cashier starts to get in on the conversation, being combative and rude to both us. When asked, he says his name "Samon", but he has no name tag so so don't know if he was lying to me or not. Asst Manager said nothing.
I told him he should not be arguing with customers.
By the way, our receipt shows cashier says "S-541 R-1 T-9252 ANTHONY M SALE"
Again, Steve says nothing to the kid after 3-4 combative statements for "SAMON". So Steve admits he, the manager messed up with the pricing labels, and his employees can argue with customers and he doesn't have the skill set to control his employees in front of 15-20 customers. Nice!
I needed the kit, so I bought it at $69.99 and got the 40% off.
They need to go to church more and practice what they preach.

Hobby Lobby Stores I thought Hobby Lobby would have a better management staff

Let me preface this whole email by saying that my wife and I LOVE hobby lobby. We walk into a store at least once a week, even if it's just to look.
Today, actually 20 minutes ago, my wife went to purchase a fall decoration. We went specifically for a certain type of decoration and the one she found was the closest that came to what she wanted. While contemplating purchasing this item my wife notice the not so perfect craftsmanship on it. Glue was hanging off of it and smeared across some of the decoration. As well as the top of a pumpkin was coming loose. Even still my wife still wanted it. When we came to the cashier, Dillon, who could have cared less if he helped us or not, very inattentive and careless, my wife asked if there was anything that could be done about the less than satisfactory craftsmanship. Dillon waved down Trish, a manager, to which Trish said there was nothing she could do and that we "can take it home and just snip it off." I was taken aback by this comment. I shouldn't have to take "art" home and have to fix it. So after telling us she couldn't do anything for us, without saying sorry about the terrible work or any kind of sympathy for the situation, my wife still purchased this piece of work. On the drive back home my wife noticed more small details that made this piece not worth the money we paid. So we headed back to Hobby Lobby to return it. Personally I have a small temper but I held myself together and I wasn't going to say a word because it wasn't worth it to the cashier who knew nothing of the situation. THEN. Trish was called over to complete the refund. After she inputs her numbers or whatever she picks up the piece and proceeds to tell the cashier "the lady that bought this was complaining about the glue", saying it very patronizing and with an attitude. I opened my mouth and showed her about 4 other things wrong with it, to which Trish responded with silence. No sorry, no empathy for it being a bad piece of work, NOTHING. I told her "thanks for being empathetic to the situation, I really appreciate it". Simultaneously the cashier is handing me the refund money and I start to head out the door and Trish makes it a point to say with an attitude and rudeness in her voice telling me to "have a nice day". I work in a profession where customer service is vital to my operations. And how she spoke to myself, and how she handled the situation was absolutely atrocious. Not sure how exactly she became a manger but something needs to be looked into at the Hobby Lobby on Old St. Augustine Rd in Jacksonville Florida. Never going to that location again and it will be a while before I go back to any Hobby Lobby. Terrible experience, and at the hands of a "manager" none the less. Being in customer service I know that it's almost a 100% guarantee that nothing will come of this review and life will go on as normal. I just hope Hobby Lobby steps their standards up as far as management goes.

Hobby Lobby Stores Store management be held accountable for their actions

I wanted to write this in November however I was so irate that I decided not to. I am a school teacher and I have been a Hobby Lobby customer for quite some time however I will no longer shop there as a parent grandmother school teacher my school that I work for and my colleagues all agreed we will never step foot in that store again. I am baffled that this is a business a Christian based business that has a store manager literally fabricate a story to get a young man fired. As and Caucasian woman I am ashamed of what I witness a store manager Caucasian lady plot plan and strategize to have this young man fired. This young man was helping me the best way that he could with him being a new employee he was called into management office on three different occasions within and half an hour period first he was accused of putting merchandise away without any pricing with that being said I witness a colleague of his leave her department go into the boxes where the merchandise was and put them in a shopping cart and go back into her department as the new new employee approached his department assisted me along the way putting away the merchandise as he was helping she decides to leave her department again to confront the new employee in regards to put in merchandise away without any pricing very unprofessional how is this new employee supposed to know there was no merchandise pricing on the items that he was putting away because the items were not in the box they were in the car and you witnessed this employee put all the merchandise away and decide to confront him second incident store management fabricated a story that she was informed by her co-manager that the employee deliberately over ordered merchandise to avoid ordering merchandise the following week however when calling the coast supervisor into the office and be in confronted by the employee she admits to not saying that to the store manager and also to the employee those words were never said the employee comes out of the office once again to assess me since we've been interrupted twice to be bothered a third time called into the office and was told by the store supervisor associates said he smelled like marijuana however this employee was assisting me I did not smell a width of marijuana the store employee did not exit the building that day since he arrived what eyewitnessed was the store manager and her I'll say them click as they want to call them which were other employees Caucasian females as well gather together and cahoots fabricated story together to have this employee terminated it wasn't because he smelled like marijuana I didn't smell marijuana I believe he told me he started work at the 8:30 in the morning here it is almost 1:00 p.m. and you send them home from smelling like marijuana when he never left the building upon arrival this store is in Roseville Minnesota a Christian based business honesty integrity is something your management does not have should not be in that position and I would never ever step foot in that store again I'm disgusted and you should be as well

We understand it was busy we waited in like over 30 minutes and it’s fine but once we got to the cashier and had a question she was very rude we asked how long the sales where going for and she said idk when ever we run out. Hobby Lobby Stores Racial harassment

I was browsing the store with a friend trying to decide what we were going to do for arts and crafts that evening when I noticed that I was being followed throughout the entire store. I wasn’t worried about being followed because I was not doing anything wrong. I had picked up several different projects and ended up placing them back on the shelves at diffent times because I had changed my mind and was on to thinking about something different. The are a lot of things to chose from and I was having a hard time picking just one thing. I really didn’t know that it would be a problem considering the fact that the store Carrie’s many different options for a hobby. Anyways I was I in the paint aisle when a lady came up to me yelling at me asking me where was the other paint that she saw me put in my cart. I told her that I decided to not get spray paint and it was back on the shelf. The then told me that she has been following me around the store and didn’t like the fact that I was putting stuff back on the shelf because she was trying to keep the store clean. I said why is it a problem if I put it back? She told me to watch my tone and I said I had noticed I was being followed and I found it irritating and unnecessary but she could continue to follow me if she wanted to because I was doing nothing wrong. Then I said excuse me because she was blocking the acrylic paint I had decided to get. The lady then stood in my way and said if I was not sure I was going to get that them don’t touch it and she told me I could get out of the store if I didn’t fix my attitude. I then laughed and said I didn’t have a attitude I was trying to shop and I would like to talk to a manager because I was being harassed. She then told me that she was the only manager and I wouldn’t be talking to anyone but her and she again told me to either be quiet or get out the store. I ignored her request to leave and proceeded to get the paint I wanted and pushed my cart to the register to pay. I was followed the entire time and the woman was still saying rude things to me and asked me to never come back. The girl who rang up my purchase also agreed that I should file a complaint and she said that she was embarrassed for me because people were staring. I am a black woman who has never shoplifted and I found this whole situation to be ridiculous. I do a lot of arts and crafts and now k am very uncomfortable with the thought of going back to hobby lobby especially with my daughter because it does not feel like a safe environment and the worker was most definitely a racist.

Desired outcome: I feel like I deserve some sort of compensation for the total embarrassment. Maybe a gift card to shop online so I don’t have to go back to the racist store and possibly end up in jail for simply being a black woman

I would never be ashamed of being black you sound ridiculous seriously and it is funny how several of her coworkers saw the entire situation and told me to make sure that I made a complaint because I did absolutely nothing wrong. And trust me if she felt like she had a reason to call the police she would have because that is what y’all love to do and the fact that she didn’t says a lot. So how about if you don’t speak on a situation that you really don’t know [censored] about and she can’t sue me for [censored] because she clearly is a racist. Just like you.

Hobby Lobby Stores Rude and prejudice employee

I came to store to return some damaged items unfortunately I lost my receipt and the lady immediately mentioned they had cameras. I didn't appreciate the way she addressed the issue. She also did not listen to what I was trying to do which was return items and get something else. When I went to pay for my new items she made a big fuss about me paying with a large bill.

While I think Hobby Lobby is a fantastic store, their votive candles are terrible. I have tried to burn them and them and if I'm lucky they might burn for 20 - 30 minutes. Candles from other stores last for hours. Since I don't have my receipts so I can't return them. I have 8 that I tried burning and 19 I've not used. They were costly and while they smell great a huge disappointment.

I ordered the pictured tin w/ batman & robin & they send me a logo box! I had to pay $9 return postage on a $10 item. I LOST $9 on that transaction. Then to get the box I wanted w/ superheroes, they ask me to pay an additonal $9 shipping. Talk about a RIPOFF! How about making it right for me! "Michael's" here I come! Forget about Hobby Lobby!
