Ding Dongs
I just had one bite of a Hostess Ding Dong and almost threw up from the taste and the feeling it caused. It tasted like chemicals and soap. That burning feeling you get right after you throw up was almost instant after ingesting it, even in my nose. My mouth tingled, similar to the feeling of eating peppermint. My husband took a tiny bite and said, "something is wrong with this." I said, not trying to be dramatic but how it actually felt, "I feel like I've been poisoned." It took forever to get the chemical taste out of my mouth. It wasn't like that metallic taste you get with too much extract, but an actual chemical, causing damage to your organs experience.
Zingers
I bought a package of Zingers at the local Meijer gas station. Usually these are an enjoyable treat. However upon opening the package and taking a bite it immediately tasted like diesel fuel! I spit that out, looked at the remaining Zingers and saw a white fluffy mold on them.

Hostess ding dongs
I bought a box of ding dongs and everything was fine until the last one! My daughter thought it smelled funny and i thought she was just smelling the package and i took a bite of it and immediately smelled and tasted a weird gas, threw up and cant get the taste out of my mouth even after rinsing with mouthwash several times. Something is terribly wrong with it. I put the rest in a bag and in the box if you need it back for testing. Someone could have been seriously injured. I will not trust this product again.

I bought zingers from my local gas station opened them and they are moldy grosses thing I've ever tasted.
I bought these zingers from my local gas station and I bit into gross old moldy zingers which is terrible thing when you're craving a sweet treat trust me. I normally enjoy your products but this isn't the first time this has happened to me at this particular location I've gotten rock hard vanilla zingers from there also. I didn't complain or even ask for a refund I figured it was just bad luck. Unfortunately this has happened again and I'm out almost$4.00 a piece for your products I hope this can be corrected immediately someone is going to get sick from old moldy food that your company produces. Thank you Mrs. Moriah Medina.
Desired outcome: I would like my money back.

I recently purchased hostess triple chocolate brownies 8 count for $3.99 at my local warehouse store. When I opened the box there were 7 brownies. The 8th was empty and looks like it was sealed before the contents was filled.

Ding dong
I opened a brand new box of ding dongs and the one I took out looked like it had been opened and melted back shut and still had a small hole in that end. I will be throwing that one and the whole box away cause I do not know if something could have been done to it, and I will not feed something to my family that looks like it could have been tampered with. I have pictures of the box and the ding dong in question.
Powdered mini donuts
I purchased this bag of powdered mini donuts at my nearby mart for 3.99 as i'd just arrived home from traveling and my daughter needed breakfast. They taste very odd. I've purchased them many times with no complaints, but my 14 year old daughter even describes them as tasting like play dough. The expiration on them is 9/1/21 so they're not expired. Making you aware in case theres something wrong you can pull them.
Hostess Star Spangled Ding Dings
To whom it may concern: Dear sir's, I bought a box of the Star Spangled Ding Dongs cakes. Me and my family consumed them however the last cake I ate tasted weird kinda like chemicals or soap of some kind. I tried to throw up but couldn't. My family really like Hostess goodies but now I don't know what to expect. This is my complaint to your company. They were brand new store bought and the box was sealed properly. The "Best By" date was also accurate. I hope this was just an isolated incident but pray I wasn't poisoned somehow. Juanita Wilson P.O. Box 1887, Carmichael, CA. [protected]. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.
Desired outcome: Reassurance/ refund

This is the 3rd time I have had to throw away the package of donuts because they are doughy. I don't buy these very often because I tend to eat too many in a short time. I love these but when they are doughy, they are terrible. I have resisted complaining before because I can't understand how this can happen 3 times. Once I can understand but enough is enough. Thanks you for a good produce but quality control may need looking into.
Desired outcome: Refund or coupon to replace
Hostess Brand Choclate covered mini donuts
I purchased a bag of chocolate covered mini donuts on Saturday. I was watching a movie and grab the bag to snack on. The only light on was the tv. It was around 9:30-10 pm. I ate two donuts as I was eating the third I looked down. The tv light brightened the room in time for me to see maggots coming out of the donut. I spit everything out of my mouth. I instantly vomited everywhere. I looked in the bag to find maggots in the bag. I've called hostess with no return call. Please help! Please call me at [protected]
Desired outcome: A response
Hostess iced vanilla zingers
This box seems they are really small and crushed but the box is fine.
Fruitpie apple
I just open the box to one of your fruit pie and found ants in the box
SuzyQ's
I no longer putchase any Hostess product because they discontinued a favorite by so many people. Why did you have to stop making SuzyQ's? It was a popular desert and I am so sad you chose not to manufacture it anymore. I used to purchase Twinkies and cupcakes, but no longer. Did you ever take a survey to see what Hostess products are most popular or did Corporate make the decision?
Desired outcome: Bring SuzyQ's back!
Poor Quality Control; overall cheapness
I grew up with Hostess snacks back in the 70's and they were always good -- but after the company has changed hands twice now, the lack of love for the products is obvious and all I taste is cheap labor, unhappy worker's thoughts, and overall garbage. The new "Hostess" is a mockery of the original brand.
Desired outcome: Get management that cares about quality or your company will fail
