Ding dongs
For some reason the last several boxes of Ding Dongs I've bought all have a weird taste to them.
The Chocolate taste extremely cheap, the cake has a metallic taste, and the filling (what little there is of it) taste almost like plastic.
Since this only started happening this year, I wonder if the way they are sanitizing or something is causing it.
Hosted zingers
Hi I buy hostess zingers all the time. Like two boxes a week. The last 4 times I have bought them at 3-99 a box* I have got ones that have been stail they have been hard the cake and the frosting both. Usually they are soft and good. I don't know what has changed. The date on the box is not exspired but they are hard. For a person that eats as many as I do its a disappointment when they are not fresh please send fresh ones to 1633 n rome way apple valley utah 84737 to r. Mecham thank you
Ding Dongs
Bought a box of Hostess Ding Dongs at Krogers after opening the box there was crumbs all over the box and I noticed 2 of the packages were not sealed and spilled chocolate crumbs all over the rest of them.

10 cakes
Purchased: Walmart
Price: $2.98
Problem: the icing is too sweet and the flavor is not the same. The cake wasn't moist, all in all this was very unsatisfactory. I have to admit it's been a long time since I have last eaten these cakes, but they used to taste much better. My name is Della Bates. [protected]@aol.com, P. O. Box 23931, Belleville, IL 62223, [protected].
I expect to hear from you soon. I have the item still in my freezer ( My Husky refused to eat them).

Powdered donettes
I just purchased a 6 count package of powdered donettes and they literally smell and taste like butane, gas or exhaust. This is the WORST! Not sure why or how this is an issue but it definitely never needs to happen again! Bought in Delevan, NY.
Package label
We purchased a box of Hostess iced cinnamon rolls, form the Ft Leonard Wood commissary, markings on the box showed 6 individually wrapped pastries, a week ago. Once opening the box found only 5 were inside. H022025200 051 K03:01 is on the front of the box. I've never seen a boxed item short change before. Asking for a coupon or another replacement item.
Ding dongs
About 1 month ago I bought 1 box of king dongs & 1 box of twinkies — I bought them at the meijer store in mason, michigan. I used to be able to buy them all the time, but since they went bankrupt and reopened they are much more expensive now — also the size of the cakes are much smaller now — when I opened the box of king dongs there was an unusual odor — my son took a bite out of one and said they were no good — he said they tasted like plastic — I took a bite out of another one and I felt the same way — also a taste of fuel too — i'm sorry it took me so long to respond — but I didn't think hostess would do anything about it — i'm very leery of buying hostess cakes now — I don't like having to waste money on an inferior product — I didn't keep the sales receipt — I do have 2 of the cakes, but I don't think it is a good idea to send them through the mail. Also I wish you would lower the price of a box down from $3.99 — i'm not able to buy them any more because of that — sometimes meijer has them buy one & get one 1/2 off — thank you for listening to my complaint!
Raspberry Zingers
I purchased a 10 pack 13.4 oz(380g) of individually wrapped Raspberry Hostess zinger cakes, and my husband and I ate 6 of them 2 each at different times, without looking at them while watching tv in the dark.(not knowing if we ate a black powdered color rotten one).
A couple of days later. I opened the box all the way to put them on my shelf outside the box, and i saw that 2 of them were a lot smaller that the original size ones, and that one was rotten(black/green powder on one end and black cream underneath it inside the package). The BEST BY DATE: AUG 27 2020 the other numbers printed under the date are H [protected]:33.
I saw online that a lot of other consumers, had the same issue. I am not looking for free anything, I am looking to see what you will do about it, on your own. And also to say that I will not buy any hostess product again. I still feel sick just thinking about it.
Thank You in advance for your time,
Robin Caron
Cinnamon streusel coffee cake
Hey guys and or gals!... I bought a box of my favorite! Coffee cakes from a walmart and they aren't out of date, ' but they have an awful after taste. They are very soft. They kinda taste like the dough wasn't baked enough and went bad. I thought it might be my imagination and it was because I haven't are them in a while. But I got another box from albertsons (grocery store) and they were delicious! So I figured I just got a bad box from walmart and I went back and bought another one and it has that nasty after taste again! My brother got away with the bag that had the receipt but I have the information on the box for you folks to check out. Sep 14 2020. H [protected] 183 05:16 l11 [protected]. Hope that helps. Hostess Jumbo Donuts blueberry
I bought a package of Hostess Jumbo Donuts, the Blueberry flavor, in Holt, Missouri, at the Dollar General. I had opened one and ate it. Tasted great, so i decided to eat one more. Opened the package and smelt something like nail polish remover, thought my family might have left open a bottle... took a bite of the donut and my mouth instantly went numb, and smell was horrible, tasted like chemicals. So i immediately spit it out! The donut was tainted with chemicals of some sort! I breastfeed a baby, so im so nervous the littlest bit of chemicals could pass to my baby! How scary!
I just want a refund or a new box of donuts free of chemicals.!
Hostess ding dongs
This is my go to when I cheat on my diet. So imagine my disappointment when I bit into a cake from this box of ding dongs that I purchased and there was no creamy center! Not in any of them!
I have attached pics of the box and the cakes.
😔 i've bought these for years and they have gotten smaller, aren't as fresh as they used to be and so much more expensive so it really is a splurge for me and then for this to happen... Well not sure I will buy again
Just thought you should know!

Hostess cupcakes frosted chocolate
Opened the package (single) bit into the cupcake after the 2nd bite heard a crunch and felt a sharp object with my tongue after spitting out the chunk in my mouth I noticed pieces of black plastic which I probably swallowed some of. I am very disappointed, I have been eating these cupcakes since I was a young boy and am now afraid to open another package. I hope that you will make amends for this situation.
Zingers cakes
I purchased a box of Zingers cakes at my local grocery store on July 18, 2020. I opened the box the same day and several of the cakes had black mold spots on them. The best by date on the box is Aug 27, 2020. The code stamped under the date is: H [protected]:18.
Zingers have always been a favorite treat, but I will consider twice before purchasing again.
I expect at the very least, a full refund. Purchase price was $2.99, plus .09% tax,
Thank you,

Raspberry zingers
I purchased a box of Raspberry Zingers on July 16, 2020, from Walmart, 3141 Garden Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
It had been awhile since I had found these in a store and was excited to enjoy them. When I opened the box and removed one, it was covered in black mold. All but two were molded. I reinspected the box to make sure the expiration date was good, the box was unopened and the packages were sealed. All seemed to be ok. I took pictures in disbelief. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I love Raspberry Zingers, but after seeing the black mold, I'm not sure my taste buds will ever want another. I'm not sure if that batch is bad or just the one box. The pictures are of different zingers and not the same one. While a lifetime supply would be a great resolution, I will settle for a replacement box.
On a side note, I did notice the size was considerably smaller than I remembered.
Raspberry zingers
I Purchased One Of These Raspberry Zingers From A Local Gas Station & I Consumed 2 Before I Notice A Black Dust On My Hand & Look Down At My Cake & It Had Black Mold On My Zinger & On The Pack I Have Been Sick All Day The Following Day & I'm Looking To Sue Because This Has Happened To Many Times With This Same Particular Cake I Have Been Throwing Up All Day Cant Hold Anything Down & Have The Runs I Will Never Buy Another Hostess Product Being That These Are My Favorite Snack Cakes I Am Very Disappointed & I Don't Feel Well Someone Needs To Contact Me ASAP
