Champion Ruby RYO
The new packaging is really excessive and annoying. The zip lock is hard to open and tobacco goes everywhere every time I open it. The extra long flap is not needed and would like the original packaging back.
Have been a true champion smoker for years and am very disappointed in the new packaging. Very awkward to use when rolling your own cigarettes.
Desired outcome: Go back to original packaging. No extra long flaps (i cut them off) and no zip lock stuff.

Parker and Simpson gold smokes
I have just opened a carton of smokes and this is now the second carton with soft filters
The last carton was a mix of soft and firm
This packet has what feels like mostly soft filters
This is not what I expect in a product I have used for years
And there not cheap
I’m going to go with a crappy batch
I have purchased both cartons from my local coles store
Desired outcome: Replacement

White Ox 50 grams
I’ve been smoking white Ox for 22yrs. I actually have never had a problem with the bark that comes in the packet. But lately it’s been getting out of hand. I buy a packet of 50 grams & have weighted it on my home scales. The most i have ever got bark in weight has been nearly 15 grams. Other times it’s been 9 to 13 grams of bark in total.
I think it’s time i put in a complaint about this. Not sure if supervisors are watching their workers making & packing the product because it’s too much bark in a pouch.
My email is [protected]@gmail.com
Thx Aaron Smith, I have always thought to myself that why all the ppl with the exact same issue don’t speak out. This is a pic of all the bark in the last packet of white ox 50 grams i bought. I’m buying packets of 25 grams from now on. I tend to realise there’s a little bit less bark in them. The packet I’m on right now has abit over 3 grams in bark but still counting.
I Have had issues with a couple of pouches in the last 6 months
JPS Eternal Red 25g tobacco
On thursday 22nd september 2022 at 9am I purchased a 25gm pouch of JPS eternal red tobacco from the ‘ smokemart and giftbox’ store located inside the maddington central shopping complex in maddington, western australia.
upon returning home i opened the pouch and rolled a smoke. during the day i kept finding tobacco scattered around the place and thought i mustn’t have closed the pouch properly so i checked and found a gaping hole in the bottom corner where the plastic hadn’t sealed. big enough for approximately a quarter of a pouch to fall out. it is obviously just a manufacturing process flaw.
id be happy to return what’s left of the pouch for further inspection if necessary.
i didn’t get a physical receipt but i paid by bankcard so have a bank receipt.
Desired outcome: if it’s at all possible I would appreciate either a refund or a replacement.

Champion Ruby 25g Rolling Tobacco
I recently purchased a 25 gram pouch of champion Legendary Ruby 3 days ago at my local Free choice and the pouch didn't look sealed properly under the plastic packing and when I started smoking one I started to notice a funny taste when I got home I tipped all the tobacco out of the pouch and some of the tobacco was dry and crusty and there was bits of mould in the tobacco it tasted horrible waste of the whole pouch I have a photo as well I've never had anything like his happens before
Desired outcome: I would like appreciate a replacement pouch of Rolling tobacco or a refund of the money I spent

25g riverstone pouch of tobacco
The tobacco has chucks of tare in it and it look like blue tack but black very annoyed as its not cheap to buy and there a lot of it.
The stuff thats in it cant be smoked & is quite dense so probably makes up a fair amount of weight in my tobacco, i feel asthough i pay for atleast 4 grams of this bluetack like stuff that i cant even smoke. This isnt the first time ive had this stuff throughout my tobacco pouch but i am starting to get sick of it.
Desired outcome: Either new one sent out or refund

Champion Legendary Ruby
I bought a 15g pouch from Smokemart yesterday and pulled out a giant entire leaf from my pouch (I've included a photo below).
I've been loyal to your brand and always spoken highly of you, I've been smoking your pouches for so many years even with the massively increased prices that I can't afford with my low income. I don't pay such a high percentage of my wage to pull leaves out of my pouch.
I'm so disappointed..
:(
Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed please for all of the bark and leaves and crap I've found in your pouches over the years.

Cigarettes
I purchased a carton of Parker Simpson red 40s from Woolworths Bennett springs on Saturday 10th September 2022.
I have had several smokes from the carton which appears to have defective filters. I have attached photos of the problem.
I cannot smoke them as they also have an imprint cut from where I assume the filter should be. Concerns of the chemicals in the filter not properly filtered not to mention the cost of paying for a product I have bought for years.
Desired outcome: Replacement of puchase

Parker and Simpson blue 30s
Brought a packet of parker and simpson blue thirties today 9/09/2022 at Woolworths batemams bay only to discover that some of the cigarettes in the packet were broken. Barcode [protected]
Desired outcome: Replacement of product

JPS blue 40's filter not sealed on cigarettes for many packets
My husband and I smoke JPS, Blue and buy the 40's packets. We both smoke around 20 each a day and it is quite expensive. We are aged 64 and 67. The JPS BLUE 40's Filters have not been sealed correctly on many of the cigarettes in the packets we have purchased recently. At $63 a packet this is not acceptable. We are considering changing brands if the issue is not addressed. This has not happened in the past and I hope you can fix the problem and maybe offer a refund.
Desired outcome: This has not happened in the past and I hope you can fix the problem and maybe offer a refund.

Parker Simpson blue rolling tobacco -
Found a large chuck in pouch weighing .63gm. Cannot be used to roll a cigarette.
Bought from The Red Deli. Taperoo S.A. 3/09/22 for $53.
I can barely afford to smoke as it is and I definitely cannot afford to throw it away. Normally your tobacco is excellent. I enjoy it very much. Serial no. -LEWL1H4bM2eeW2C301J10753
Thank you for taking the time to read my concern.
Desired outcome: Replacement pouch.

White ox tobacco
I've been a White Ox smoker since 2008 and have been disgusted with the decline in quality over the past 3 years. In Australia we are paying far to much ($120 for 50g) to be given poor quality, barky and branchy tobacco. What can be done about this and is there any compensation given for receiving such poor quality at such a high price. Surely there is some sort of quality control? Also twice in the past 2 months I have weighed pouches that didn't feel right. The first one was a 25g pouch that was unopened it weighed in at 18g. The second was a 50g that was taken from the clear wrapping and weighed 42g. Not happy!
Desired outcome: I would like an apology, something to be done about the mentioned issues and compensation for for the mentioned issues. (EG a carton of pouches)
Poor quality tobacco
Hello I'm in smoking White ox for about 5 years about 3 days ago I bought two pouches of 50g White ox tobacco and when I opened them they were extremely dry crumbly heaps of bark and hard twiggs in one of them and the other was as dry as the desert. It doesn't roll properly . Harsh when U smoke it and it's almost turning to dust. Not happy at all . Place of purchase wouldn't take them back .
Desired outcome: Replacement please.

Hi, I’ve decided to contact you after so so many clumps of tobacco in our pouches almost every pouch these last couple of months my husband and myself have experienced. We spend way more than we can even afford, easy 4x40gm pouches to Champion Ruby every week, seriously thinking of changing brands although it’s not like we can afford to buy a pouch and find we don’t like it. I really hope you look into this matter.
Parker and Simpson 30's Blue
Hi.
I just now brought a packet of the above cigarettes from the Spar store in Kalbar (barcode [protected]) and the one I just had (2nd one) and the paper around the filter was lose making the cigarette hard to smoke. I have a video of the smoke coming out from under the filter paper. I have checked and noticed a couple of the others are the same.

Whiteox
I have been smoking whiteox for 7 years and I’ve just purchased a whiteox 25g from the bp service station at morphett vale and when I opened and it was not whiteox tobacco and it was completely sealed and the pouch it looks more like Jps, it felt light, it smelt mouldy the colour was extremely light coloured and dry as we all know whiteox is dark in colour and moist. I’m really unhappy as I have been a customer for 7 years, I want this resolved as I purchase a whiteox pouch
Desired outcome: I want it resolved and to have the correct tobacco I have purchased

Holiday menthol boost 20s
Tuesday, 23rd of August 2022 - 9:40am NZT.
Saw what didn’t look like tobacco before I lit my smoke. Broke some of the smoke off and to my surprise, there was a yellow and black piece of plastic in my smoke. It looks like a shredded, but long piece of hazard tape. It has some brown substance stuck to the plastic in certain parts which looks like dried mud but could in fact be nicotine.
Desired outcome: I’d appreciate an explanation, an apology & some sort of refund.

Champion Rich Red tobacco
My partner and I have been smoking Champion tobacco for over ten years now. In that time, there have been a lot of changes in quality of the product and packaging.
I have to agree with a lot of the comments on this thread about the new style of pouch. It is stiff, awkward and the tobacco itself has been a dry hard little brick since this change. The ziplock is useless. I don't know anyone that uses it, as the dry tobacco gets caught in it. The extra long flap is annoying, I have always purchased the 50g pouch as I always hated the extra length on the flap of the smaller pouches.
This packaging is clearly not working. It is compromising the product. We are considering looking at alternative brands due to this.
Desired outcome: Change the packaging back to the old, soft style pouch.

Parker and Simpson blue tobacco 25g
Hi I purchased my tobacco as usual and while rolling the next day, I found a ‘clump’ of false eyelashes in amongst the tobacco I had in a paper. I’m thankful I saw something there and had a closer look, despite the fact smoking itself is a bit gross, I’m thankful it wasn’t a spider or something in there, but having a foreign item such as part of false eyelashes that has been attached to someone’s body in amongst my tobacco just made me feel sick. I have kept the pouch aside and purchased a different type and so far so good, but also wondering how many times I may not have seen a foreign object or consumed something equally as disturbing. Yuk.
Desired outcome: Replacement or refund
The clump of lashes
Thankyou for your response. I will do that. I can’t see the contact details here though. It says ‘protected’ will I receive an email or something explaining how to?
