intex purespa ssp-h-10-s
I purchased a 4 person Intex PureSpa tm SSP-H-10-2 which has not lasted even a full year before problems have occurred. It seems that if anything goes wrong after a year you get no satisfaction at all from this company. I actually had problems before a full year of use (I purchased in 4/30/16 and it had rubber inlet hoses that exploded on Christmas day of 2016). After getting replacement parts, I did not even try to hook it back up until this October of 2017. I purchased all new Chemicals from a local Hot Tub company for $76. The spa worked for 1 week before I started getting Error Codes. After a week of messing w/this thing, following all the steps in the Owner's Manual, and deciding after disassembling the control unit from the tub, air blowing all of it out, losing water from the tub, managing to get the caps back on it, to save the fresh water and the chemicals, calling the Customer Service TWICE w/no satisfaction, I say these Spas are JUNK, and not worth the $400 Purchase Price, the Spice of their filters, and chemicals. Their only solution is to tell me that I or my husband are not smart enough to replace the plug in Heating Unit which I have determined is the problem. I have to buy a Whole NEW "Control Unit" for $290 plus shipping and handling which how do I know it will work any better?
2017 24ft round above ground pool - liner and upright supports
Pool seemed easy enough to erect and all of the parts were there. The issue is within days lots of little pin hole leaks started to appear. To make matters worse it seemed like many were along a single path which gave me more of the impression that the vinyl liner along the section had greatly stretched and weakened.
To make matters even worse is I had an upright support severely bend in the middle. I blamed one of my children -"must have kicked off from the side" - after replacing by having to drain the pool I fixed it and filled the pool. Within a week another upright bent out... No one was in the pool! The weight of the pool itself bent the pole... This 2017 design is nothing like what I have heard of from other Intex owners and it makes me mad that we cannot enjoy something we spent prob. a $1, 000 on so far.
Hi there! We purchased the same size/frame last year and had no issues what so ever. At the beginning of the summer of this year, we refilled the pool and noticed a few days a pole bent just like in your picture. We decided to drain the pool and order a replacement pole to fix the issue. Not even a day later the pole next to the pole we just replaced started to bend! After doing some research, I have discovered we aren't the only ones with this issue. It seems the issue is from a defect in the frame itself. My question to you is, were you able to get the problem of poles bending resolved? If so, how did you resolve the issue?
solar pool cover
my Order date was 7/29/2017 I had purchased a solar pool cover on my invoice is stated a 9 ft by 18 ft pool solar cover item # 19957, I did not receive that size instead i got a 15 ft round solar pool cover that i cannot use. when I called the company x2 they were not able to help me I was on the phone for 25 min with a staff person that was not knowledgeable about my concern.
This mistake is not my fault and they are wanting me to pay for the company error by me paying for the return shipping. This is not fair to me because I got my order right whom ever packed it did the mistake. I need for someone to help with this issue.

intex pool pump 633t
I bought a 22 foot round by 52 inch high pool with pump 633T from local Walmart. The pump was missing a clamp/retainer and black round O-ring under the bottom of the pump. When the water was turned on at the pool to circulate through the pump and filter the pump/filter started leaking really really bad under the bottom. These parts cannot be purchased from Intex at all. I was told by intex the pump would probably be useless or trash since it cannot be sent back due to me not having my receipt. This pump is brand-new and has never been used. I see that this company has major issues with their pump and filter systems by researching on the web.
bad impeller design error e-90
Intex sucks! We kept getting an error E-90... ...no heat and no filteration was working on our intex hot tub spa at all!...They want that 290.00 for a new control base..when its a 5 cent plastic or possible ceramic shaft that kept breaking. You turn the whole unit upside down and the impeller housing is located underneath on the very bottom underneath base..Where you'd least expect it to be, suppose they did it that way so people would be stupid enough to keep giving them money for whole new unit like i did twice! Anyhow it disconnects easy ..like 3 bolts for plastic cover and 4 or 5 for inpeller cover..the impeller is magnatized so just pull it out. And chances are if your pumps not filtering or spas not heating its the cheap white plastic shaft of impeller. Easy fix. Pull out broken shaft and replace with a #10 finishing roofing nail or rod of some sort of same size...guaranteed to last alot longer than their money grubbing product is suppose to intex puts in the impeller for the shaft!
missing orders
I have ordered parts from Intex for my above ground pool 3 times. Every time my order has either had the wring parts sent or missing part if the order. I have had to cancel my kids birthday pool party 2 years in a row because of order was missed up by them. They could correct the mistake and send me the missing parts from my order in expedited shipping so my children could have their party but they refuse to do so. I ordered these parts well in advance. Intex has the worst customer service I've ever seen, and I will be looking elsewhere from now in for my recreation needs.
ladder
I bought a intex pool 15 by 48 and we had just finished putting the ladder together and I went to get into the pool and the ladder which is made of mostly plastic material also no platform to turn around got down to the 3rd step ladder wobbled I slipped and fell backwards into pool .Ended up breaking my freakn leg and had a concussion, this happened 5/11/2017 .I'm out off work for 3 months .please if you value your children and yourself don't buy these pools
It should come with a platform for the ladder. WTF?!
wow! I thought it was us! We have no platform on the ladder either! Is is missing or did it not come with it!?
no restrainer straps
I purchased a 24 x 12 x 52 Intex Rect pool at the end of last year. I did not put it up then I waited till this year. I opened the box and all of the restrainer straps are missing. I called Customer service to buy them because i really need them and they are out of stock for 2-3 weeks. What am I suppose to tell my kids their pool wont be up until then? I spent over 1, 000 on this pool. Customer Service basically said I would have to wait they are out of stock..I cant find these anywhere...
I will never buy another Intex Pool again.
Just what I was looking for. Now we know all pros and cons of the form. You'll forget about paperwork when you try PDFfiller. Legal forms online can be filled out in 5-10 mins here http://fill4forms.com/
queen size pillowtop air mattress
We have purchased 3 of these mattresses in the last 10 years and used them twice a year. Same problem with all of them. They apparently leak on the valve which I might has the pump built into them! I am getting tired of spending almost $50 for each one and only being able to use them that few times. We use them in the back bedroom and never outside. I wonder if it is an engineering problem within your company. I might understand if it were just one but that isn't the case. Is it a common problem?
intex 77in purespa portable bubble massage spa set
We purchased our PureSpa Spa at Target in September 2015. In April of 2016 the hot tub pump displayed an error code. We contacted customer service and received a new pump. In September 2016 our pump displayed an error code. We contacted customer service and found out that our warranty was a few days out of date. We explained that we understood that the warranty was out of date, but that we received a brand new pump only 5 months before this (in April). Customer Service agreed to send us a new pump only if we mailed the old pump back. Shipping cost us over $90. In December 2016 we noticed another error code on our pump. We contacted the company again and this time they refused to help. We asked to speak to someone higher up and were told that we would get a call back. A few weeks later after no return call we called again. We were once again told that we would receive a call back. When we did get the call from a manager we were told that they could not help us. They had already good willed the product once and could not guarantee that we were taking care of the product. Of course this made us very angry. We only had the new pump a little over 2 months before an error code appeared. We have had three different pumps and none have lasted more than a few months. This is ridiculous! We spent good money on this product and cared for it (despite what the company might think) and now we have a product that we can not use because the pump system will not filter the water or heat as it is supposed to.
I purchased a pure spa tub brand new about a year and a half ago. I did work perfectly for a year. That said, I have only used the tub on average once or twice a month. I have kept it covered and changed the water and filters frequently. It also sits under an enclosed canopy out of the elements in California. The last time I used it was in November before covering it for the winter. When I tried to head it after the temperatures rose again, I got E95 (which is supposed to warn of the water being too hot). Obviously, the message was an error. After trying a number of things (unplugging, disassembling, etc.) to see if it would reset, I gave up and ordered a new base ($350 plus). The advertisement for the new base on the Intex site states that it is compatible with 28403E model. Well, I discovered over the weekend that that statement is false. It does not hook up the the 28403E head unit. I had to spend another $63 for a new head unit which, like the base, is advertised to be compatible with various models. I'm pretty sure this kind of false advertising violates California law (Consumer Legal Remedies Act). Making matters worse, the company makes it almost impossible to make a written complaint. But I will keep working on it and may file a class action. I'm sure they have made millions with deceptive advertising.
air furniture: sofa bed and air beds
Requested a refund or new product. They do not do either of these.
They do not care about customer satisfaction. Many, many dis-satisfied customers on the web. Complaining of all the same things as I have below.
Intex products, as a whole, do not last long. The built in pump failed on my queen bed within the first year. I bought a separate pump, but shouldn't have had to. Used it indoors (not camping) and only occasionally, when guests stayed overnight. Shortly after 1 year, leaks started to occur along the seams. This was confirmed with water testing. The location was unable to be patched. Another of their products (a queen sofa bed) had internal seems ripping after a few uses, creating "ballooning" in one of the bed sections. Also, people have found both of these products uncomfortable. If not pumped up enough, a heavier person sinks and the lighter person is raised. Pumping it up more fully makes it not much better than sleeping on the ground! (too hard) On a 3 section sofa bed, it is impossible to get all 3 sections the same "firmness". Writing to the company will get you an "automated" response of: "As a valued Intex Consumer your feedback is greatly appreciated... Any exchange would come from the retailer in accordance to their policy. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope this unfortunate situation does not discourage you from choosing Intex in the near future." They do not address your specific issues.
I would not recommend buying air furniture. Stores in my area will not take these back, only exchange them for exact model, and that is only for first 3 months.
second pool lowest level not keeping air
Good day
To Whom It May Concern:
We bought a Intex pool at Checkers Hyper on 16/12/2016.
The next evening we pumped it up. Filled the pool with water. (This pool is inside on concert flooring) next morning the lowest level was flat to the ground. We went and hired 5 x 200liters barrels to put the water in there so we can return that one.
Yesterday we got the new one and pumped it up. Kids swam about and hour, then I saw the lowest level was flat again. (same as the previous one)
2 pools with the same problem? Now they want me to go and hire barrels again to bring it back. I can’t spent my little off time I have, put water in and out a pool until we get one that is not going flat?
I am prepared to keep this broken one until the holiday is over and then bring it back. I will take a photo as the lady at Checkers requested.
This is a very bad product and I am very unhappy.

intex bubble spa
Had to submit a claim in June 2016 for defective control base. Was sent a replacement base. Within 4 months, said replacement base crapped out now Intex is telling me I have to buy a new one "because it's only got a 1 year warranty". When pressed about the fact that this replacement base has now become inoperable after only 4 months, I'm told "Sorry, we go by the purchase date, not the replacement date.
I will be submitting a BBB complaint and utilizing my various social media accounts, to forewarn everyone about wasting their money, and the lack of integrity from Intex.
$350 down the drain. I will never give Intex another cent of my money.
swimming pool model 54435wl
I purchased a above ground pool for 500.00 20x60 size. It was purchased at Meijer on 4-17-16. When we were taking it down for the winter to store it, as told to do in pamphlet that came with the pool, the seam came apart . I took it down at the end of October 2016. When I called the store where I bought it they said it had a 30 day warranty, to call the company. I called the company and was told it had a 90 day warranty and it was outside of that time. So now I am not only out of a pool I am also out of 500.00 all I wanted was for them to stand by the product. I just wanted them to replace the liner because of the defect. I am disappointed .
intex 120 bubble jets 4 person purespa hot tub
Bought the hot tub in May by July the plastic tube were gone. Poor quality material was used. Tried to call to get warranty or replacement parts got hung up twice after 16 minutes on hold after they answered than hold again. Customer service is very bad.
Intex has horrible customer service. Never again will I buy a intex products. Bought a hot tub in feb 16. Had to replace a part in oct. then again in march giving same problem they refuse to replace part since I bought it in feb a yr and 1 mth ago even tho I had the same part needing replaced that I got in October. Horrible company
They just did that to me yesterday. On hold for 20 minutes - just to get hung up on, then another 20 minute wait to be told that there is nothing they can do for replacement base I've had for 4 months, that just quit. At least the first one lasted almost a year...
pure spa hot tub
Purchased this spa as a gift. Three weeks of use and the cover near strap area ripped, returned required item for replacement and still waiting for a cover 3 months later! They want to replace it with a different color cover. The spa is gray and they want to send a Khaki cover. Numerous calls an they say they have no ETA on getting a gray replacement cover. Will not even let you speak to a manager . Warehouse is in California and phone calls handled by someone in China! Do not recommend anyone buying from this company...totally consumer unfriendly and lacking in satisfaction!
above ground pool 26x52
Bought this Intex pool thinking it would last a few years. Did not last 4 months. Called Intext customer service 3 times with the complaint that one of the seams is coming apart and it is a running seam that is just opening further up the seam. We tried to patch the seam when it first started and even when the seam started opening even more. Finally called customer service only to be told we were 30 days past the 90 day warranty and you cannot patch a seam. A new liner would have to be bought. We bought this pool on April 23, 2016. Because we have built a deck around the pool, we have no other option but to buy another 26x52 pool. It is very disappointing to know that the breaking at the seam and the seam only opening up bigger is a factory defect that I am just forced to deal with after only having this pool for a few months. We paid a lot of money for this pool and the deck around it for the family to enjoy for only a very short period of time. Very disappointed that I am only told numerous time "I am sorry, you are out of your warranty" from customer service.
We made this purchase as an investment for our family only to be disappointed that such a big purchase has a factory defect and there is nothing I can do about it. Would be different if I bought the pool a year ago, but it was only bought 4 months ago.
12x24x52 rectangular pool
We ordered foot into expert tangler pool on august 8, 2016. We spent several hundred dollars and a week and a half prepping our site. We finally received our pool to erect it this last friday, five days ago. After 8 inches of water we saw that the liner was defective and leaking in three different places. We stopped filling it immediately. First thing monday morning we called the company and file a claim. They instructed us on what to do and told us that once they received the cut out parts they would send our new liner and we should receive it in 2 to 4 business days. We immediately sent them the parts on monday morning via fed ex and paid $53 to overnight the box to them. We are running out of summer and want to make sure we get a new liner as soon as possible. Today, thursday, august 24, they received our returned cut out parts at 9:30 this morning. I called to double check and see when we would get our new liner. For the second time I was told 2 to 4 business days. Within the next couple of hours my husband notifies me and tells me he just received an email from intext corporation. The email was telling us that they no longer have the liner in stock and were unable to tell us when we would get a new one. I immediately called the company back and sure enough they no longer have the liner and cannot tell me if we will get one before the summer ends. Needless to say we are very upset. I explain to them that they are behaving in a very unprofessional manner. I also explained that if I were to their website I could purchase an entire new pool system with no problem. So they do have liners. She said that that's different. I asked her how can we get our money back. She said we can't because we used our pool. At that point I lost it and said how did we use our pool? We filled it with 8 inches of water only two immediately see the liner was defective. I have never been taken advantage of by any company like this in my life. We pray that we will get a liner as soon as possible and our children may have a day or two of swimming before it turns to winter. At this point I have no hope of that happening. I think this is a scam. Any company who will not honor their product is unscrupulous and should not be dealt with. We never got to use our pool. We never filled it more than 8 inches of water before we realize they sold us a defective pool. This is completely their fault and they are not going to do anything about sending us a liner as soon as possible. What ever happened to customer service? If the managers or someone higher up at intext pools reads this, I invite you to call me or contact me.
krystal clear model 637r filter pump
I put my pump up for the winter and then when I used it this summer it didn't work and I did nothing to it and stored it properly and knowledge is completely stopped working and I would like a replacement please contact me as soon as possible because I paid a lot of money for this pool and for the pump to go out in a year is unacceptable
If a pool is 5287 gl why would you have a filter pump with only rated at 750 gph ?
2nd the 2nd output hole to go into a already pore pump so cutting the suction even more.
I can not keep pool clean were its not green or brown being pump that fits pool is not enough to do the job.
Now a year later you have a larger pump that is rated at 1900 gph and its not compatible with this 15x4 round metal frame pool you made. this is not right and no thought was put into this but lining your pockets wile selling substandard equipment to the public.
intex oblong pool
We brought this last on sale for $300.00 at the end of summer. It was to late to serve it up. So I set it up on the 6-11-16. I got it all put together and started running the water in it. The water had been running for 2 1/2 hours I went to check on it. And the air in the ring on top of the had all leaked out. There is a hole in the ring . So I wasted all the water and all my time with this pool. I call customer service and they told me it only had a 90 day warranty on it. There was nothing they could do. Don't buy anything that has Intex on it they will not stand their product. Even contracting BBB don't do any good. So that show me they don't care don't.
You have had it almost a year. It has a 90 days warranty. I have bought Intex products and will continue to do so.
