@ 9:38p.m. We pull up into this Jack-n-the-box location and there is no line in the drive-thru or in the parking lot. We pull up to the menu box and nobody greets us, my husband says are ya'll open, hello and nothing. After several minutes later this male voice comes on and rudely says "Yeah can I take your order" and the whole time he was listening to us cause he sounded annoyed. My husband proceeds to tell him he wants the $5.99 Popcorn comb meal and he says "I can't hear you so my husband raises his voice so he CAN be heard and the gentle man seems mad. The guy ask's if we want small or medium so my husband says the way it comes in the $5.99 combo. Again the man says small or medium so Me as the passenger say"Oh my God we want it the way it comes what ever the $5.99 special comes! Well then the guy gets mad and says to go somewhere else cause he is not taking our order!. My husband then very hungry & annoyed by his rudeness proceeds to the window and tells the guy he wants to speak to the Manager and they guy proceeds to yell at my husband to move along and keep going which makes my husband very angry and start to yell back at the guy at the window. The guy was a young black male and this older Black female stood next to the guy at the window then this young hispanic guy also comes and closes the window on my husband. Never have I had something like this happen to us before very, very bad service at this location! Never returning! There was noone there so why could they not do the job they got hired to do and work. Very hungry and aggravated customer!
Desired outcome: To clean up their act and stop hiring kids that do not have customer service skills. And get an On-Duty Manager on the night shift that can handle these situations.

Hello. Since I often use restaurants in this area I’d like to voice my dissatisfaction and hopefully it doesn’t happen again. So not only that I received fries with salt when I ordered fries without any salt, and I said it three times but I was served fries with salt… 😵💫😔
Additionally, she employee considered it is necessary to charge me for the 2nd avocado sauce I requested. Never had any restaurant of such kind charged for the condiments. And I could swallow that, but the salt in my fries truly made me very unhappy ☹️ about not having the snack I was craving 🥺
Desired outcome: Salt free fries every time, 2-3 souses to be added for free with an order/item upon request. I will feel better if you make it up to me with a nice cheesecake or two 😆😜🤷🏼♀️👍
Terrible service
Went to location #1402 in Missouri on my way to Illinois after a very long day training for a job. I seen advertisements for unbeatable meal deals and decided to place an order for myself and family. At the window the young girl was very polite and friendly. We received our order, and my mother asked for a drink carrier, because the young lady was attempting to give us 5 drinks without one. After the last bag was handed over I went to check our order and everything was tossed in the bag like trash!. I brought it to the young lady’s attention and explained I’m not trying to be a problem but that is unacceptable. They asked for the bag to be returned and asked us to pull around so that our order can be remade. Another young lady came to the window and apologized saying they are so busy. I repeatedly tried to ensure them that I’m not trying to be confrontational. When another young lady brought out the order a second time again I checked the order and found that an order of loaded fries was wrong, the we were missing a taco and a drink. Irritated I went inside and asked for my receipt because we didn’t even have one. The manager Angie was in there frustrated feet hanging out of her shoes and screaming orders to her staff. I told the cashier what the issue was and asked for a receipt. There was some banter back and forth amongst staff and the lady explaining my complaint. At this point I feel the need to offer them to come look in my car to ensure I’m not on a tirade trying to get free food. The manager comes up and rudely asked do you just want a refund I tell her yes. She asks me to bring in the food and I oblige. Rather than seeing what the issue is and trying to make it right the woman was making slick remarks. The staff found her funny whatever she was saying and we ended up arguing. She told me that I was being confrontational and that she’s human and has kids so I should understand that these things happen! I do in fact understand that things happen, but the entire experience shows that they are flat out careless and indifferent to the Company and consumer no matter what. It’s sad that fast food workers feel entitled to be sloppy and careless while expecting compassion because they are “SO BUSY”. These people need new management ASAP. I was hired at Jack in box on 6001 w Thomas Rd as of Feb 1 2023 I signed paycome documents and the manager had me go in for training Feb 14/23 and I was training with out clocking in I was told by manager over text to go in at 10pm to 2pm at 11:30 pm the other lead send me home and sent me home she said she told me she didn't want to train me she was really rude about the situation and my question to her was "I need to punch/clock in and she was very disrespectful and rude to me I took a picture of the computer of the time I left .It's very rare that the manager is onsite she very unprofessional and ,the team leader for closing also not well coordinated , disrespectful and rude ,they have me going to jack several times for training or looking manager even calling and texting most of the time no response, looking for the managment when I just needed to work get have orientation get my schedule I would like to speak to some one on this matter ..I have names ect

Hamburger meal
I ordered a hamburger meal, small fries and coke. Received fries spilled out in bottom of sack, not hot. Not even Luke warm. The fries were short on quantity too. The hamburger was Luke warm. I went to same outlet yesterday and was also not hot for same order. I have been a customer for jackinthebox since hamburgers were 18 cents each. I would like a replacement order for the 2 meals.

No egg in breakfast Jacks
On 2/01/23, 9:14 A.M., at Location # 806, in San Antonio, TX, I ordered 2 Breakfast Jacks, at the Druve-thru, & had to return to window to advise employee there was no egg, in either sandwich, only meat & cheese. See Order #181. I was given 2 eggs, in a container & expected to make sandwiches, while driving. I gave everything, except bun, to my dog.
Desired outcome: Refund $3.79, to account ending 2509, or send coupons for free items.
Employee critizing
I work here and all of my co workers are rude as [censored]. They really don't care about the costumer at all and they make fun of me because I'm the only person born and raise in America. They come at me for everything especially when it comes to dealing with the costumers because they have a hard time speaking English. I don't have any hate to foreigners but it's just the pressure and hate I'm getting all because I'm the only full English speaker. There also very slow pace and talk to much. I'm still working here cuz it's the only job that I could get and the closest.

Hi, I am or rather was an employee of yours, in cedar city, Utah. You have a group of mean Mexicans running the store forcing all white hires out. they reuse things they drop on the ground even the paper that goes over your food. they can't speak English and get angry when you can't understand them. they constantly berate and put down. It truly is disgusting what's going on in there.
Desired outcome: you should fire that whole store and start over its really bad.

On 12/19 at 7;52 i went to jack in the box in redwood city 1205 Broadway St, Redwood City, CA 94063 before i went to work i went to the drive thur i orderd an ice coffee , frencch fries and a breafast sauage croissant . when i recived my food my fries where hot but where very hard i asked the lady if she could re due my fries she told me they where just made i told her it was hardness of the fries she told me to park in # 1 she comes out about 30 sec late rand they are even harder . i took them back in and asked for my money back she was very Rude from the jump. i i asked for her name she walked away told me she wouldnt give me her name . my receipt said maria. this is not ok i work hard for my money and i just wanted to get food before my busy day at work.

Not accepting complimentary coupons

I received complimentary coupons and one of the TL/manager (not sure) told me to go the store I got them but yet they were given to me to use them at any jack. He did not even tried to put the number in to take the coupon, he just looked at it and said he couldn't take it. He did want me to pay for meals that were complimentary just because he didn't want to accept it. It is really rude to have courtesy coupons and them not taking it just to not lose money.

At this location the first sign showed 6.99 for a number 27 extreme sausage combo.
When I got to the order speaker and sign it showed 7.29.
When I asked they said the higher price was the correct one.
Once I got to window I mention they should be honoring the lower price advertised till they change it.
I was told they were too busy to change it. (Nonsense)
This is technically false advertising or bait and switch. I know it is only .30 but when you are on limited income .30 is alot.
Also there is no price shown if you want oj or milk at all so you can't forecast what you will be paying. You just see it at window.

Lying/Refusal to let me purchase a product they sell.
My husband and I went to the Jack in the Box at 1845 W Craig Rd. North Las Vegas NV last night at 1 something in the am after he got off of work. We tried to order the seasonal Hot Cocoa milkshake, they lied and told us they don't sell it anymore which we're obviously not stupid and know it's the beginning of winter. I also had just bought one a couple of days prior for my son. We told them the signs are still up for it & they said they have to take them down, we also see them hand the exact shake to the car in front of us, which was even more a slap in the face, so they just didn't want to have to make another one. So, they lied so they could make their shift easier and they just argued with us when told they were wrong. The 2 times prior I got one for my son I even threw the worker a tip because I know the ice cream machine is a pain and it seemed like he was working alone.

Management/incorrect order 3x in a row!
Ordered chicken sandwich with cheese, easy mustard,easy pickle. I got home and not only were my Large French fries only half full but there was no chicken on the sandwich. I walked in the next day and spoke with the manager about the incident and they asked if I had my receipt which I proceeded to give them. Not only did they charge me for another full order they missed up the sandwich again. There was no cheese, no mustard, and no pickles. The French fries were once again only half full. Today I went and ordered the exact same order with the exception that I got curly fries. I ordered a large and for the 3rd time the French frie container was only half full. I used to never have this problem with this store and not only were the fries half full but every single time they were horribly cold and old. When I called them yesterday about my order having no cheese which I did pay for by the way. They said there was nothing they could do for me. Why can I be charged for items that they messed up and I just have to suck it up? This is unacceptable service. I don't know if this particular Location is under new management or not but it's terrible. I would Occasionally getting order incorrectly from this location but the manager would always make it right and they were very nice. A customer shouldn't be treated this way. Unacceptable.

there’s a sign in the front saying the store is closed from 4am to 430am for POS updating or something like that, so why is the store closed at 3am?! that’s a whole hour before the posted time, the lights are on, the open sign is lit up, the employees are in there & are able to talk into the intercom to tell me that the store is closed. okay…but why?! so annoying. i wouldn’t have driven all the way over there if i was told they would be closed an hour earlier than the time posted
Customer service/spitting in food
At 7am Sunday November 27th I drove up to the drivethru in El Dorado Hills ordering a extreme sausage combo with black coffee. Everything seemed okay and no issues. I pull up after waiting behind another and the guy processes my order no issues. He asks again about my coffee, I reiterate I requested black coffee. I watch this young man put the coffee to his lips and spit into it just after pouring it before putting the lid on and handing it to me.
I work in a hospital full of rsv, flu, and covid patients, and this person is spitting into the coffee of members of the community. Is he sick? Having a bad day? Either way I did nothing to this person and can only imagine what happens when someone does actively upset him.
Shame on this man, I genuinely hope something is done.
Desired outcome: I do want a refund for my meal yes. But I also want to know this was addressed via email please

I went to the Jack In The Box at 7015 Broadway in Lemon Grove, CA. I have been here several times before and the service just keeps getting worse and worse. First of all, no one had a name tag on and a guest had walked up to the counter to get some Ketchup and stood there for 5 minutes before someone even helped him. I waited approximately 5 minutes just to order with no one in front of me. The girl in the kitchen area took a handful of frozen hash browns (no gloves, bare hands) and threw them into cold dirty grease. Then the manager came in, looked at the hash browns and shook her head. Then she proceeded to take out the hash browns and put 2 of them in by bag. The hash brown wrapper had at least a quarter inch pool of dirty grease in the bottom of it. I didn't have time to get my money back as I was on my way to work. It was absolutely disgusting. They also let some of the homeless people in at night and feed them for free.
Desired outcome: Ultimately this location should be closed down. It is dirty and gross.
Mobile Order
On November 21, 2022 I mobile order lunch to be picked up at 1:05 as I had an appt at 1:30 upon getting to JITB I walked in and seen a man already waiting at the mobile order line- He stated he’d been there for almost 10 min already and no one had come up. So I waited about 3 min before yelling “ Hello, is anybody working the counter? “ there were a few ladies that ignored me ( possibly a language barrier) as I speak only English and they were all speaking Spanish. Finally someone said be right with you. Fast forward 20 min and still nothing. I started to yell that I was already late for my appt and this was ridiculous. I’m sorry but it is! My appt was cancelled and now i am stuck with a $30 non cancellation fee- THANKS A LOT. All I ordered was a Jumbo Jack w/ cheese and 2 tacos. The order was clearly ready- and took 20 seconds to pack up. Almost 30 min for a 20 sec job
Desired outcome: Communication- let us know what’s happening- I will not be happy until I get my fee refunded- it’s only fair that being re-imbursed is the right thing to do!
