JC Penney showing a product that you do not have

I have purchased the Arizona Khaki Junior Pants for the last eight years from your company. However, for the past 10 months I go on the website almost daily and you show the pants but they are always out of stock. I have called customer service and they only could tell me to continue to check, get alerts for when they become available, and pick something else. You show these pants on your website but they are always out of stock. I have signed up for the alerts easily once a week and never have gotten an alert. I do not think you should show clothing or any type of product if you can not supply it. Either you have the product or take it off the website. I would like to get about 10-12 pairs of your pants. As I stated I have been a long time customer of yours and I feel like you need to tell me if you can supply the pants or not. I am wanting regular 1 Junior Black khaki pants 10-12 pairs and would like 5 of the khaki. If you can please let me know what the issue is with your product and what I should expect.

JC Penney jcp in wayne new jersey

My daughter just turned 19 years old couple months ago and she been working in jcp Wayne no for Almost 2 years, my daughter is very naive and well disciplined, never get in trouble, always been honest and friendly to everyone around her.
She start working 2 years ago in the shoes department and she was very happy and excited about her job and very pleased with her coworkers in the shoes department, the oldest employee helped her and help the other "kids" in her age and they teach them Almost everything and helped them all the time
Things changed by March of 2018 when Paramus store closed and the corporate replaced most of the Wayne managers and bring store manager and over 6 manager and many associates from Paramus, they basically replaced the (good people with devils), my daughter start to show less interest in working at that store because they moved her out of the shoes dep and start sending her to cover all over the store, we as parents told her to do what managers want and don't stress about it, until she find better job especially that this her part time job until she graduates from college
Yesterday (Friday 01/04/2019)she came back home earlier than her schedule and she had that terrify look on her face and her body was shaking, I can tell something is wrong, in a second I thought something happened to my daughter.
When I asked her, she told me that they fired her, I asked her to calm down and tell me the whole story . This is she told me word by word:
Last week they fired a coworker from shoes department, accused of switching the tag of sweatshirt with a cheaper one, the problem that my daughter cashed him out, she works at the register as cashier and that's her job (to cash customers and associates), she cashed him out not paying attention to the tag and he paid the money, bag the sweatshirt, give it to him, and he left
Security manager and other manager called my daughter to Valerie office on Friday, and for more than an hour they didn't asked her any question, but they kept accusing her that she knew her coworker switch the tag and she was involved in this, and yet they have security cameras all over the store (it shows how her coworker picked up th shirt from the rack and went to the cash register) but they never showed her the Video, and they threatened her (we saw you on camera and JCPenney will take you to jail and court) for more than an hour, security manager and another manager were pushing her to say something never happened, manipulating her, threatening her they can take her to court.
After she kept telling them that she didn't pat attention to the tag, and her coworker pay for the shirt, they played a nasty dirty game, they gave her a paper and told her to write an apology letter and they told her exactly what to write (word by word) they promised her that she (won't get in trouble, and everything will be fine, it's just a letter)
When I asked her why you write the apology, she said (I was scared of them, they were horrible and nasty and accusing me like I murdered someone, and I just wanna get out of there, I was terrified)
After she signed the (apology letter ) they asked her to sign it, then security manager took the latter and told her he would be back with the decision. He never comes back, instead Valerie came to the room with the letter and clearly told her (we have to let you go) .
I asked her to call her coworker who got fired and asked him what happened, somehow we got his number and she talked to him, we were chuck when heard from him, it turned out that the security manager and the assistant store manager (Valerie) decided that he switched the tag on purpose and they threaten him (they have him on video and there was witness, and they would call the cops and take him to court)but they never showed him the Vedic and they force him to write an apology letter and both the security manager and Valerie told him word by word what to write and they let him sign it, then they fired him .
I as a mother was very upset by the way they treated my girl, never in my life or my daughter life I would let her work there, even if it's going to be the last job on earth, I went to the store to know why they did this to my daughter, I met 3 managers and everyone of them told me horrible stories about Valerie, 3 of them told me how nice is my daughter and how hard worker she is,
It turned out that Valerie and 3 other managers who came from Paramus won't to fire most of the Wayne associates before the store manager Cary comeback from her medical leave, why ? Because there are associates from Paramus back in March decided to collect unemployment, and now after 6 months they decided to come back to jcp and Valerie did hired couple of them as season associates and she promised them to stay in the store with full time hours . The only way she can do that is to fire as many associates from Wayne as possible.
A big company like jcp should not let this happen, jcp corporate has to do do something about this outrageous disgusting behavior, and until someone fix this mess, I promise you jcp, I'll spread your shame all over the media and the social media's, and then I'll take you to court.
No one allowed to treat my teen daughter this way

JC Penney faulty advertising

I have been a loyal jcpenny customer forever, using my pennys credit card most of the time. I signed up for text messages and have used these deals quite a bit.

one recent text that came on Wednesday January 2nd clearly stated "Extra 50% off clearance already reduced up to 80% in store " My daughter and I went to the Parkway plaza Pennys in El Cajon, CA in the late morning.

I had quite a few clearance items to purchase that had either pink or blue clearance tags and the young man said he had been told that only the pink tags were 50% off. I asked to speak to someone else so he called in another gal who argued with me (and me with her) She finally said she would do it this time with one transaction.

I wasn't finished shopping so she held on to the items and my daughter and I spent another hour and a half looking around and had over $150 dollars worth of items.

This was when the next person showed up and told me that she had checked with management and would not honor my text coupon..She said the text meant anything reduced 80% or more not up to. IT CLEARLY SAID 50% OFF CLEARANCE ALREADY REDUCED UP TO 80%!

I am not one to argue but when she wouldn't budge and continued to argue with me, I decided to just walk off and leave it all.

I WILL NOT SHOP THERE ANY MORE EVEN THOUGH JCPENNY HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE STORE ALL MY ADULT LIFE UNTIL SOMEONE ACKNOWLEGES THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE ACCEPTED THE TEXT COUPON.

I have worked in customer service and I understand that the customer is supposed to be treated fairly and I was not.

JC Penney online order

So I received my invoice order today invoice # c402-47167. I was really excited about getting 6pr of Arizona jeans for only $89.04 shipped to my door. And I just ordered these! Long story short I got home today and opened the package with excitement then I saw a ink tag as soon as I opened the package, Then another one and another one. So on three pair of my brand new jeans have ink tags. I called the 1800# to be told take them to a JCPenneys location and they will be happy to remove the tags. So my excitement turned to dissapontment real fast. I work retail and a little attention to detail goes a long way. Thanks.

JC Penney checking out is impossible

JCPENNEY Get it together before you have to go totally bankrupt I visited the Jcpenney in Florence Al today. I was purchasing hair products attempted to pay at the salon and was told that the register was broken and I would have to go to mens wear to pay which is now a returns register . A very long line there Of customers returning items. Went to Jewelry and was told they cannot check out anything but Jewelry . Preceded to the front register and finally got checked out . This is crazy does not make me want to shop there again Date of visit 01-03-19

JC Penney shipped wrong shoe not once but twice and then stated they were out of stock

I order a pair of Nike black, grey and gold shoes on 11-26. When the package arrived at my house, it was a solid pair of black shoes with a gold nike sign. I called customer service who told me to either return, go to nearest JCpenny and see if they had shoe in stock. I explained they did not send me what I ordered. The lady at JCpenny proceeded to order the shoe again. When it finally came to the store, it was the exact same shoe they sent me the first time. I called customer service and spoke with a supervisor who proceeded to tell me they were out of stock and they probably just picked the next pair in line. I asked, if it is out of stock, how did it let me order the same shoe twice! She had no answer. Wasn't willing to work with me and told me that I could go on the website and put in my email to get an alert when the shoe came back in stock. Needless to say, JcPenny has lost a customer.

JC Penney staff

My family was in the Katy store my mother and my self were going to some tops that the sign read buy one get one and we had both had quite a few... each! We had also had ask someone who worked for J.c Pennys and also told us it was buy one get one !
We were at the registers they were not ringing up for the price they were marked. They called the manger (Melody) and she said that she would check the price after waiting almost 15 min. she came back saying that the sign had been flipped and with her tone with us was not very nice .being that it was incorrectly showing wrong price and that we were going to buy quite a few each that it should have given the price they were marked or free since we had been waiting for so long and wasn't marked at the correct price. The customer service recived tonight very rude ! I won't be returning any time soon. I had always liked in the past.

JC Penney online order

I ordered items online for Christmas presents. They were listed as in transit for 2 weeks then never delivered. We did not receive notification that it was not being delivered. We called them and were told that the package was lost. We would have to go to the store to get a credit. Extremely poor service or rather complete lack of service. Horrible experience!

JC Penney unprofessional lod

I am a seasonal employee at your Bakersfield store and on December 21, 2018 a manager named Jocelyn was very rude to me. She unjustly and harshly criticised my work ethic because I was not selling enough credit cards and have a low APOT score. Even though I do try every single shift. She said these horrible things like and I quote "I don't have a good reason to explain to my team why we should keep you" "What are you adding to JC Penney" and she said these things in the middle of a shopping rush in front of all the other associates and a long line of customers. It was very unprofessional and uncalled for. I had just clocked on for my shift. I understand that your credit cards are your company's main ticket item and I know what I signed up for. I have sold about six or seven since I started maybe a month and a half ago. I can understand not wanting to keep me after the season is over. That is fine but I will NOT BE DEHUMANISED. I wanted to bring this to your attention because it wasn't right and DO NOT APPRECIATE THAT AT ALL.

JC Penney arizona jean slouchy boots

I bought a pair of black slouchy tall boots on Black Friday, wore them about a handful of times and the soles are falling apart :( I'm so upset about this because they aren't cheap boots:( now I can't get a hold of anyone to help me replace the boots or at least give me my money back! I've never had such bad customer service in my life! I'm really upset about it.

JC Penney customer service

I don't use my JCPenney credit card very often but when I tried to use it this Christmas my purchase was declined. This did not make sense because I've always had a fairly high credit limit and I knew my 150.00 purchase would not have exceeded this limit. I used a different card for the purchase and assumed there was some type of issue and I would call to get it straightened out. I called the Customer Service number later that night only to find out that my credit limit had been reduced to $100.00 from the thousands it had been previously. I was told that because I didn't use the card they reduced the limit and I should've received a letter. I have never received a letter and I have gone longer periods of time not using that card before and I've never had this issue. After doing a little more checking, I have since found out they reported one of the payments that I had made as being late. So, not only was my credit limit reduced to almost nothing, I was also reported to the credit agencies for making a late payment. I have NEVER made a late payment to JCPenney. When I called to cancel my credit card the agent did that without ever asking how they can keep my business. I then asked how they were going to correct the information that was reported inaccurately to the credit agency and she hung up on me. I would think that after being a customer for as many years, as I have, someone in the two calls I've made to customer service would've tried at least do something to try and keep my business. Instead she hung up...great customer service JCPenney. I will make sure that everyone I know is aware of this and I will suggest they no longer shop in these stores.

JC Penney exchange of merchandise.

On May 11, 2018, my husband bought me a pair of shoes at the Clermont, FL store. These were for the beginning of the school year (I work at a school) and was getting ready for that. In the meantime I was ordered by my doctor to take a special medication that are steroids. I started gaining weight and then recently developed spurs on my left foot on the top. The shoes were Clark and these did not fit well anymore plus it was painful on the top. I realized I should have done this before, but days come and go and just was not able to.

Last Saturday I went to the West Oaks Mall, Ocoee, FL, and of course I did not have the receipt, however I did have the billing statement received by your company and also had the cancelled check in payment for the bill as it was the only item purchased that month.

After speaking to the lady she insisted that I have a receipt, which I showed her what I had and she would not accept it. I can understand the rules, however the shoes were never worn(that was clear) and she concluded that they could only return $18.37 when we paid $53.49 and proceeded to say that was the current price for these shoes. At that point what could I allege? I proceeded to check the shoes on the shelves and they WERE NOT that price, but at that point I did not want to either make a scene, nor go back to the line.

Again rules are rules, I get it, but I think the documents I had was enough evidence as it was on the JCP credit card plus there was proof of the payment.

I have been a loyal customer and thought it could have been handled better. Please let me know if this is the end or there are probabilities of improving this whole situation.

I understand, the time frame to return an item is usually 60 days with receipt or invoice and 45 days without receipt or invoice for the current price, but only 18.+ was too much of a difference.

JC Penney cc credit on returned item

I returned 2 separate orders at the same time that I ordered online at the rocky mount, nc jc penney store for cc credit back to my jc penney card. This is a new card. My account was credited for one amount, but not both. I have the physical receipts that show I should be credited however, when I called customer service to inquire about the second credit they say I will have to go back to the store to straighten it out. But why? I have the credit receipt. Why can't I just scan the receipt and send it to you as proof to receive my credit?

JC Penney refund/jcp app

The jcp app did not indicate that I had a pending payment so I double paid a bill on 12/14. When I called to get a refund on 12/17 I was told it could only be a check and i'd receive it in 5-15 briskness days. While that's annoying, and i'm disappointed that the money cannot be reversed and put back into my account, I still want my money back. I just checked the status on 12/24 and they canceled my request! Because I was upset with the length of time. Thank god I called back to check. What terrible customer service. And when I asked to file a complaint, they told me that wasn't possible but I could speak with a supervisor. I'm all around upset because this wouldn't have been an issue had the app showed a pending payment. But then to be treated the way I was with customer service is just downright disrespectful especially during the holidays! Why would anyone double pay a bill!?

JC Penney jeans

I bought a pair of jeans about 2 weeks ago and have worn them 4 times and the rear right pocket has torn away from the jeans, leaving a gap showing my underwear. I don't have the receipt anymore and I need to exchange this pair for a new one. The jeans are a 38x34 and the RN is 93677. The sewn in tag says F08639, 791079, 5234154, 11-3, 05/18, 001, R8557, C.

JC Penney coat zipper and split and treatment

I bought a coat at the Mankato, MN store. The zipper tore apart a few wears. I called the store asking to speak to HR about the treatment I have received. I called twice and left two messages and never received a call back. This is not professional if you can not return a phone call.
I brought the coat back to the store and was refunded. But the problem I have is that I tried to reach management twice about a few things and have been ignored both times.

JC Penney arizona loose fit jeans

Is there not a place that someone can purchase 38x32 Loose fit Arizona jeans. I have not been able to find them in any of the local JC Penney stores and when trying to order on-line this size( along with many others) says it is sold out. Are AZ jeans no longer being produced? I just need to know if I will eventually be able to purchase them or if this brand/style is dead and i need to find another brand.

JC Penney kids jacket

Hello,
I'd like to start by saying that i genuinely love this company and have never had a problem before. My mother bought my daughter a winter jacket a month ago. This morning, it was impossible to zip up and i saw that there was a small tear near the zipper. I wasn't able to get the jacket zipped at all. I figured it was past the point of returning because she's worn the jacket since she got it. It's perfect for the cold weather in Detroit and she's pretty upset about it.
