"misplaced" order and charging me twice
I ordered an item on JCPenney.com and received a notice that my card was charged and my item was shipped with an arrival date of December 5th. After almost a week had passed and my item was not here, I checked back online for status and there was no longer tracking/shipping information. I checked with USPS and was told they did not have a tracking number. I called JCPenney customer service for status. First of all, I never received an apology for the issues...Second of all, I never received an explanation as to why my order wasn't received...something about blaming the supplier. I was then told it never shipped and they would send me a new one but I had to pay for it again...and I wouldn't get my credit back on the first order for up to 10 days...then there was now no guarantee my item would be here before Christmas. It seems fraudulent that I would be charged twice for 1 item which I hadn't even received yet. They confirmed I was charged originally, that should have been enough to send my item out and expedite...I was even told they didn't do expedited shipping as it's not "their shipping"...whatever that means. I want my money returned to me ASAP and it would be nice to have a real explanation as to what happened with my order. I am now without a gift at a price that I could have afforded...but now this product is $70 more everywhere. Thank you.

Your MI Fl store should just close now. Its headed that way anyway with the current management. They dont care about their employees or the store. Employees dont have what they need to do their jobs, including more employees. Printers dont work. Management cant help because 1 they dont know the jobs and 2 they scatter when asked for help. Some guy Larry has NO clue about retail customer service. Who care about Icaps only those who want to keep their hours or Joe the store manager who wants to look to corporate. The store has gone down and keeps going. What a shame.

On 11/24 I placed an order via phone. The order number is [protected]. It has not arrived yet. However, when tracking the order it has been tossed around Az. There are 18 moves that this order has made to date and it is not in my hands yet. I have never heard of this situation and I would like to know what is going on. This is surely not good business for JCpenney. I have been a customer for many years but have neve encountered this.

I have been a JC Penney’s customer for over 40 years. In my younger days I remember my Mom taking me to Penny’s for numerous purchases! Our homes over the years had items from Penny’s, dabbled amongst other retail providers. Over the years I have continued to support Penny’s, even during a time when the CEO was not supporting the Brand as well as consumers had hoped (almost leading to its’ demise).
On November 21st I made the decision to splurge on an item that I considered a luxury. You see, I hate dirty floors so over time I had convinced myself that I could purchase one of the automated floor cleaners that would miraculously sweep and clean my floors overnight. I have just moved into a new home and our new floors would be perfect for this type of product. On November 21st I placed an order for the bObsweep Pet-Hair Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop. Priced well at $189.99, allowing me to try such a gadget without spending $1, 000.00. The purchase went smoothly. I received various notifications that the product had been ordered – shipped from the supplier – and was on its way. To my disappointment in December I find that these notifications were not true depictions of what was taking place. After numerous calls to JC Penny’s customer service, this is what my experience was like:
• First agent on Sunday. Sounded as if I was putting him out when asking him to check the status of my purchase. It did not seem to be that much of a request since Penny’s had already billed me approximately $211.00 for my purchase. I had received a notification that it was delivered but I had not gotten anything. I was told he would look into the issue and return my call with an answer. SHOCK! No call.
• The second agent on Monday sounded as if I had just woken him from a sound sleep. His interest in helping the customer was non-existent. He reviewed the account and confirmed the product has been “returned to the sender”. He was going to make an inquiry to the “Corporate Office” (buzz word for I don’t know what has happened but this will get the customer off my back), and that I would received notification in 24-48 hours.
• The third agent on December 11th informs me that the product was never available and that a credit had been applied to my account. No explanation as to what had taken place, as there were NO notes on the account.
I can share that this interaction with JC Penny’s has confirmed my decision to end my shopping experience with this retail provider. I understand products can be over-ordered and unavailable for purchase, especially this time of year, but the way this transaction has been handled has made me question why I remain a loyal customer. The ironic twist is that I am a call center professional with over 30-years’ experience, supporting various industries and the service level delivered by JC Penny’s should make them embarrassed.
I will now continue my research and select another retailer when purchasing my auto-floor cleaner.
arizona jeans
My husband only wears Arizona jeans and EVERY PAIR he has every bought or was given as a gift has busted the butt out of them at the pockets in the back. Jcpenny tells me I can't return them without a receipt. Some were gifts and I don't have the receipt on some of them and they give me hard time every time I try to bring them back. I think there needs to be a better warranty on them. If u stand by your product then there shouldn't be a problem with me exchanging them out.
arizona men’s skinny flex jeans
Almost two months ago I purchased two pairs of skinny flex Arizona jeans, both pairs I bought have ripped one pair in the left back pocket at the seam of the pocket, and the other in the right back pocket at the seam, only weeks apart. Before this I had always been a fan of Arizona jeans and bought that brand of jeans frequently but after this unfortunate experience I don't think I will be able to spend anymore money on them with the risk of them ripping so soon. I do hope that this problem is fixed and resolved and possibly made right by me. Thank you for your time!
cleanliness of a store
On November 24, 2018 at 1030 a.m. my wife and I were in the JC Penny Store located in Southridge Mall in Greendale, Wisconsin. The store was in disarray. It looked like a tornado went through it. There were shoes and clothes dump in piles on the floor. There were wrappers and drink cups on the floor and on counters. This is just to name a few. The store looked like it had never been cleaned. I know Black Friday sales were Thursday and Friday, but at 1030 a.m. on a Saturday and still look in the condition it was in, is totally unacceptable. Plus, it appeared no one was even working on cleaning it up. I would have thought the store would have had an overnight team clean and organize the store. I worked retail in college and we couldn't leave after closing until the store was cleaned and organized. Some one dropped the ball on this. While shopping several other customers commented how dirty and disheveled the store look. My wife and I shop at this store a lot and after yesterday, I do have concerns about this store. I can say, I am disappointed.
On a positive note, the cashier did apologize for the way the store looked because another customer and I were talking about it. I didn't take any photos because I would be sending such a big file.

Maybe another store does have what your gf wants. No reason to degrade a store. I don't see any mistreatment at all.
THe store owes you nothing. If you cannot afford to buy more stuff for your girlfriend don't try to get them to give you compensation to buy her more stuff. If the store does not have what you want they don't have what you want. That is not mistreating you.
arizona blue label flex jeans
I have been buying Arizona jeans for years when they were Red Label jeans. I could be assured that I would get at least one year of wear out of them before the material would start to rip, usually the back pocket. These new blue label jeans, however, are horrible! I'm not even able to get 3 months before the back pocket begins to tear. I'm done buying these jeans. Never again will I waste my money. I will be buying a different brand and I may even boycott JCPenny's as they obviously know there's an issue yet they continue to carry the line. And I will make sure I tell my friends to avoid this brand.

loss of packages
In the recent weeks I had 5 packages lost, the online tracking states all packages have been delivered to my home either left on the porch or by my garage (I don't have a garage). One I have gotten taken care by contacting shipper reordered my products. Jcpenny is in the processing of investigating 1Z691053036400979 had UPS driver stop by 11-12-18 For a signature me confirming I received no package from JCPENNY. Two packages showing delivered on 11-09-18 from Hot Topic 1ZA00R50YW14013936 & 1ZA00R50YW13973740 & showing delivered on 11-09-18 Torrid 1ZA00R42YW37456485. Then I'm informed by UPS that my address is a training route and packages were probable left at my neighbor house by accident I should check with my neighbors I didn't authorize delivery to my neighbor's house this could cause some conflict basically accusing my neighbor of not giving me my packages and never had problems receiving packages at my home before. This is frustrating having to track my packages, contact UPS, vendors and follow up. My address is 2601 Park Drive Roswell, NM 88201. I'm not one for filing complaints but this is concerning, I receive my packages from FedEx and the Post office which have been larger packages with no issues.
I can relate to your experience with JCPenney. Just today the same thing happened to me. I've received a notification from JCPenney and UPS that two of my three packages were delivered in front of my door, just to find out nothing was there. This is totally wasting my time to make calls and be put on the wait line, and yet no results. I wonder if JCPenney restored your order. I don't know what to do next. I did call JCPenney to inform them no packages were delivered, and they sent me to UPS to check with them. UPS says on their files it shows delivered but apparently is not. What do I do next? And I am yet to find out whether my third package would be delivered. It's scheduled for Monday.
women's boots
Hi! I bought a pair of Arizona boots from Jcpenney about a month ago and the heel of the boot is already coming apart. They have had normal wear about once a day. I shouldn't have to pay close to $50 for a pair of boots to only last a month. I don't have money to just go buy a brand new pair. Is there a way i can get a replacement? Or even a fix? I brought a pair a of Arizona boots in august and in November the front sole of the boots came apart and JCPenney said they cannot exchange them I brought that same pair in December and the sole came apart again and it’s February so in six months I brought two pairs of the black Arizona combat boots.
If you still have your receipt, you should be able to return them to the store you got them and get an exchange.

I never complain about anything. But I have been dealing with this rats hair for months now and I can't take it anymore. I'm a mom of 5. I don't have much money. The only thing I enjoy doing for myself is getting my hair done. I've been going to jcp salon for years. My stylist always did a beautiful job I loved my hair. When she wa on maternity I tired another stylist. She was a master stylist so of course it was more money. I asked for the samething I've gotten for years. Long layers and a partial highlight. Of course it looked ok when I was done. All the product and blow out. I showered that night and when my hair dried I wanted to cry. She cut where she did the partial so short I couldn't believe it. Now you can see underneath my hair so my hair was now dark brown and blonde. Now I asked for long layers and now I have very short layers. Not only that it was severely uneven. That was even the worst of it. My hair was so burnt. I now look like I have fried Barbie doll hair that was in a fire. It was to my scalp. My appointment cost my 200.00 cause she also sold me product. So I called the next day to complain. After arguing with them cause the manager wanted me to see the same stylist that ruined my hair so she can fix it. I refused and they finally agreed to let me see another stylist. She tried her best to even it out but because it was so badly uneven it would of had to be cut to my scalp. She did a deep conditioning to try and fix it. This was in June. Since then I have spent so much money trying to fix this. I go back every 6 weeks to have more of the same trimmed out of my head. I go for conditioning treatments. The shampoo and conditioner I use to get cost me 14.00. Now it cost me 40.00 cause it redken. On top of all the leave in conditions I have bought. All from the salon. This damage had cost me 100s of dollars. And everyday trying to hide it cause I'm so embarrassed. It's so bad. Imagine an old Barbie doll that's hair has been fried. That's what my hair looks like. It's very depressing. I just feel like I should let you know about this. Like I said I don't have money. I have 5 kids I work full time and this has set me back financially and emotionally. poor management
Wow, JC Penney is seriously scraping the bottom of the barrel for some of the managers that they hire. The store in Sherman, Tx. Overnight Task/Operations manager, Joe Canter, and the HR manager, Keith, are completely incompetent. My husband was told that the reason his hours, and only his hours, were being cut to where he had NONE AT ALL (when others he works with are fine with no changes) is this; Performance, or lack of, because he was accused of being the slowest on his team. My husband is always the FIRST to be done with his tasks and then he helps whoever else is behind. It would seem that JC Penney's standards of business ethics change as often as its managers do. What happened to treating employees with fairness, honesty, integrity, and dignity? What happened to JC Penney's "No Tolerance" for when managers fail to abide by the company's "No Retaliation" policy. Are the managers so childish now that they cannot talk through problems, like adults? Since when does JC Penney, or any company worth their salt, have HR managers say, "It's not my problem... I can't do anything about it... I'm not the one that makes the schedules, you're on your own." What happened to HR Managers that are actually there to HELP employees to the best of their abilities? Seriously, are you threatened by an honest, hard working fellow? How about you do what's right instead of being a sniveling, dishonest, incompetent, [censored]?
eyeglasses
I purchased eyeglasses on 10/25/18 and picked them up 11/5/18 the glasses are not only defective as in the frame having a manufacturers defect but the arms of the frame which are metal had to be repaired somewhere else. I expressed my unsatisfaction with the glasses to the sales associate and she suggested I go to another store. This option is not acceptable, I reached out to the store manager for a refund and he re-directed me back to the same department. I also noticed when I looked at the glasses closer at home the coating also has a small scratch in it. Considering I was not able to wear these and just picked them up I find this seriously unacceptable.I paid $249.00 for these and cannot wear them at all and am currently wearing my old pair. All I want is a refund. This is a medical necessity for me to have these. I am not able to upload a photo due to my medical eye issue. Further more the glasses I bought should never be sold for anyone that has problems such as light sensitivity or seizures. Please train your sales associates better for these series issues. I took a coupon for a roaster to the JCP in Clarksville Indiana. They were out of them and I ask the lady behind the desk if I could get a rain check and she ask a manager He was very rude and said that I could not get a rain check nor would he order any more. wrongful termination
I was wrongfully terminated for suspicion of being pregnant. The HR personnel at jcp in cielo vista of el Paso TX stated he accidentally photocopied my drivers license wrong and it didnt have the expiration. He called me on a Sunday when I was an event at my church. I returned the call that Monday with the information requested. After many failed attempts to log in to jtime to see my schedule I reached out to see if I can get some help. Come to find out not only does this store NEVER answer the phone when you call but they also dont check their voicemails. I left a message on the same number HR called me from. Then this man has the audacity to tell me it's both of our mistakes when i didnt do anything wrong. "The system automatically terminated me" due to not completing the i9 form on time. He said ye had 3 days to complete it and only called me 1 day. I know they suspected me being pregnant and now I'm out of a job that I really needed. I'm definitely seeking legal advice.
I had been working at the JCPenney store in Hurst Texas where I'm was wrongly terminated. One of the managers there reported to me that I was a no call no show for over twenty times. I enformed them that, was not true . Every time with the exception of twice I had called in within a timely manner to let them know I would not be able to come in. In January I was gone for a week which was due to a family member paaing away, that was documented, then in April i had already had a vacation planned when I accepted this position . Kayla the manager I spoke on the phone when I was terminated was the one who approved my vacation but all of a sudden there is no mention of that. In Oct there was another vacation which was approved by another manager now all of a sudden it was deemed as a no call no show. Whenever I was going to be out I have spoken to various managers, Ruby, Leo, Kayla, and more, please if you work for JCPenney at the northeast mall in Hurst Texas when you need to speak to a manager for any reason GET THEIR NAME AND THE TIME YOU CALLED, document it yourself because these people are great liars and will say you never notified the store upon your absence. They never entered the information! Makes you wonder why🤔🤔🤔

arizona jeans fabric is not durable
How can I send you people a complaint about my jeans? You are so secretive. No email address and phones that are always busy. I have no idea if any company person will even see this because this doesn't appear to be an Arizona Jeans Company page.
I have 2 pairs of Arizona Jeans I bought for my husband at different times. They both developed holes in the denim near to but not involving a seam. Of course, they were near the crotch and once that happened he would only wear them around the house to do yard work in case someone could see his under wear through the holes.
I am 66 years old and have been buying jeans for many, many years and have never had anything like this happen to jeans or to Levis. Denim is usually so durable you can hardly cut it with scissors. He did not get these jeans caught on anything to create the holes.
He is not a construction worker, farmer, mechanic, or any thing like that. He is a track and cross country coach. They do a lot of standing near track events or watching kids run.
I don't know if you are cutting corners in some way or using inferior materials but it is not worth it to us to buy jeans that do this right away.
I tried ironing a patch over the holes and darning over the holes but neither worked. The patches came right off and the darning killed my fingers.
You may need to take quality craftsmanship and durable goods off your label.
credit limit increase
When I first got my card I had a $400 credit limit. I injured my back and was late on one payment. I let the credit department no of my medical condition and they dropped my credit limit to $110. I have since made all my payments on time and have paid off my card. I asked for an increase by $200 so I can purchase a gift for my son and was declined. I have good standing with all my credit cards and have goid credit. It's not fair. Now I am going to miss the sale and will have to purchase elsewhere

I love these shoes but I just bought a pair last week and the inside bottom is already coming out so I'm sad that they are already falling apart. It makes it extremely uncomfortable to walk I'm because the plush part is coming undone so my foot is in contact with the hard stuff underneath. But I want to wear them all the time so it's frustrating that I JUST bought them but they are broken.

I was at the jcpennys in south center mall in tukwila washington 10/26/18 @ around 7:20pm. I am outragged with the customer service i recieved. The cashier was new and he needed a manager to help with the transaction and there was a long line behind me. I told him he could help the next guest while we waited for the manager ( who took 30 min to even show up). My 2 year old son needed to go to the car due to the fact that he wasnt feeling good so i asked the cashier to please hold the items for a few minutes so me and my husband can take him to the car. I came back into the store to purchase my items not even 10 minutes later and there was another cashier there and she said that her supervisor advised them to return the items to the shelf and i wasnt able to make my purchase. We spent about an hour shopping in that store to be told we couldnt purchase the items and a reason was not givin to me. The supervisor has no valid reason to deny my business. I left the store completely outraged aand still no answers. I have never seen such horrible custormer service im my entire life and i work retail. I will never shop at that jcpennys again.

I shop at the Pennys store at the Galleria mall in Henderson Nevada. It appears that they cater to the Spanish speaking customers at the expense of their English speaking customers. Half of the loud speaker announcements are in Spanish. All of the cashiers speak Spanish at the expense of hiring Americans who only speak English. I felt that I was in Mexico instead of the US and I don't like it.
