JC Penney JCP Modern Bride

JCP scams customers into believing the lifetime care plan is sufficient . I purchased one of the most expensive bridal rings that they have to offer along with a lifetime care plan . Conveniently they can only locate a care plan for Diamond earrings that I purchased but there isn’t a trace of my former ring repairs or care plans . The stones drop out of the rings with little to no manipulation and they won’t do the due diligence to deep dive to find the care plan . I previously had stones replaced on this item yet they seem to not have trace of this repair either . Take accountability JCP !

JC Penney NSD shipping who delivers your new mattress purchases and entire process terrible!!

I ordered a mattress from JCPenney.com because of the special Memorial Day weekend which offered free delivery and a normal price on the mattress and box spring ordered. Your site said someone would call by 6/5 to schedule the “white glove” delivery service which would include a phone call to set a time frame on a date that you can sign for the delivery and then contact you 30 min prior to arrival on day of delivery. After numerous calls to both JCPenney and NSD shipping I couldn’t reach anyone to get delivered on date and time frame I’d be available like your white glove delivery service states will be done! I finally receive a text message on 6/9 it said your delivery scheduled for Tuesday 6/13 8 am -12 pm and call if this is a problem, which it was so I did. I didn’t pick this day and was never called by 6/5 like hour website said I would be and then was given a day and time chosen by 3 rd party shipping company that was not convenient for me! l! I I requested 3 new dates when I se poke to NSd shipping representative who then told me they could not change day and would attempt deliver on 6/13 and most likely drop the mattress outside

My building and leave with NO signature! They also said they are not required to call customer first to schedule the delivery like JCPenney website says! I would not have made this purchase if I knew this is how delivery and customer service would be handled! I I requested she have supervisors call and never got called and then spoke to another woman who was even worse than the first one, and accused me of wanting to cancel the purchase b/c I refused to have delivery done the date they selected and they refused to accommodate in anyway! I also assume I would’ve charged for delivery this didn’t Happen, as well as restocking fee when I would have bought but your delivery company committed fraud to render services not received for delivery charge of product I didn’t receive due to their unprofessionalism and not calling before setting the delivery date and time window like jcpennney site said would occur! After refusing to change date and denying they needed to call to set delivery time first, then said they would leave it outside or say I cancelled the order, and send back, then I assume they charge a fee for as well!?’ This is fraudulent service and I will not be charged or have a delivery company say ok cancelled the order, when the only reason I said I did not want was because they refused to deliver on a different date! Your site specifically states white glove service which includes calling customer to shucked delivery on day that work for them first!

This is so unprofessional and worst possible customer service and process. I have never even written a complaint, but I am appalled and very angry at this! Jcpennney shouldn’t penalize me for spending $1100 on a product they didn’t mske sure got delivered properly by their 3rd party service! if I I was made aware that you used a 3rd party delivery company when I put order in online, I would have reconsiderd buying at JCPenney and went to a furniture store that would not treat me this way! or tell me they will drop off a mattress outside my building without a signature and charge me $1100 for a bed that I can’t even get in my house because the delivery service would not bring another date! I either need this corrected or for the product to be returned with no restocking or shipping fees charged by either company since the reason I didn’t get is because of NSD shipping not calling to set it up before picking date and then blaming failed delivery attempts on me and saying I cancelled order and was not Home for scheduled delivery! I will pursue legal action for fraud if this is not corrected!

Desired outcome: Reschedule delivery to Monday 6/12 or Wednesday 6/14 or return products to JCPenney and not be charged any restocking fee or shipping fee for 3 rd party service who refused to deliver and said they would just say I cancelled!

JC Penney Online ordering

Bought clothing and changed address to update account. When made it was correct. Three hours later receipt shows up with old address. Second time this has happened. Online couldn’t correct and UPS is making me pay to reroute a package that is still at JCP. Never going there again. Three wasted days on the phone for some pants is ridiculous. JC Penney Jewelry repair cost

On April 7, 2023 I dropped off 3 pieces of jewelry for repair with JC Penny jewelry dept. I was given repair receipts that stated item summary/value, repair summary of needed repair the repair charge for each item and the estimated completion date.

#1 was a ring that would require "STRAIGHTEN SHANK/CLEAN AND POLISH...$35.

other-specific work to be done: resolder 2 end pieces to size 6...no repair charge

#2 Bracelet-repair and solder break (clasp) clean/polish $40./30

#3 tennis bracelet-repair clasp and add small missing diamond $30

This total adds up to a repair cost of $135.

I was also told that once the jeweler received my items for repair he/she would call me to verify work to be done and a more updated cost of repair would be given This was associate 0135-Rachel located in the Coastal Grand Mall Myrtle Beach, SC. I NEVER received a call from anyone prior to repair. Upon pickup of my jewlery it cost me $380. I was told because the jeweler cleaned and polished my belongings. This was not asked for and I did not agree to this work. Since picking up, the diamond that was replaced has again fallen out.

I filed a phone report with a customer service rep by the name of Andrea on 5/20/23 and given a case number [protected]. Tody is 5/27 and I have yet to hear from anyone regarding this matter. I feel I was overcharged for such services being that $380 is $245 dollars more than the fee I anticipated to pay from the amounts given on the repair claim tickets. I hope we can find a resolution to this matter.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund of the difference I had to pay for repair-the difference again being $245

JC Penney Hair color

On Wednesday May 3rd I had appointment with Ryan hair stylist at JC Penny's Legends Mall. She performed a base retouch and highlights. She has been doing my hair for about six months. The base color turned out almost black and the highlights were gray. I totally freaked out. I went back on Sunday May 7th, 5 days later. I was there for 2 hours while she attempted to correct the mess. first was a shampoo then she put a clarifier on placed a cap on my head and put me under the dryer. Then she put something else on my hair to attempt to lighten the base color. Again she place a cap on my hair and under the dryer again. When all was done my hair was golden orange. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Kansas Board of Cosmetology and contacted JC Penny's Corporate. I did receive a refund for the service from the store manager but NO apology or what can we do to rectify. I have contacted a stylist who can do a color correction and she stated that it would be a minimum of $300 and 4-5 hour process. She wasn't even sure that anything could be done at this time without causing further damage and risk my hair falling out an breaking off. I manage a Boutique for a large company and appearance is extremely important. Not only does my hair have 15 variety shades of gold, red, blonde, brown etc... shades but is also fried. I am suffering emotional stress to say the least.

Desired outcome: I want JC Penny's to pay for the color correction

JC Penney I’ve not received my photos and I’ve not received my membership

Dear customer services,

I’ve been a loyal customer for more than 7 years, and I use JCPenney portraits once a week in every state when traveling for fashion work?!

# One Saturday April 29,2023 I went to JCPenney portraits for fashion photos, the photographer named (Casey) won’t allowed me to change my clothes, and only spent for appointment 5 minutes, it was worst pictures, very rude, unprofessional photographer, she doesn’t deserve to be a photographer, you can please read the customers reviews if you’re really care about your business and customers, this completely illegal, and bad business practices?!

She’s completely unfit for the job, rude, unpleasant and very stressful to work with, she doesn’t know how to use the camera?!

As a model since age 4, I have never seen or dealt with photography like JCPenney, it’s completely scams, and fraud that JCPenney portraits stealing money from customers for nothing?!

# also the photographer named (Casey) she write my name and email 10 times wrong, I’ve not received my pictures, and also paid for a membership, and I’ve not received any information or details about my membership.

I need my full refund, I’ll also file with my institution as fraud, + I’ll file a few federal and state agencies against this criminal?

I’ve also tried to contacted life touch customer service, but no response?! it’s completely unethical, unprofessional and illegal business practices?!

I must get my full refund please?

JC Penney Online order missing

I am beyond disappointed that my online order is missing. I ordered a comforter online on 3/19. I received an email confirmation that it was delivered to JCPenney (Hayward) on 3/21 via UPS and would be ready for pickup on 3/31. I went to the store to pick it up on 3/31. Not only was it not there, but the customer service rep in the online pickup department also stated there were no orders under my name. She did not bother to call anyone in that shipping & receiving to look for the order. She provided me with the number to online customer service. I called while in the parking lot because I don't live nearby and I wanted to see if it would be possible to pick it up before I leave. The online rep called the store and claimed no one was answering. She stated she was going to send an email to the store manager about this. I explained I paid over $100 for this comforter. It's unacceptable that after 10 days it has not been processed by JCPenney shipping and receiving and it's missing. I requested the online customer service to cancel the order or reorder and resend it to my home or UPS pickup location. She explained emailing the manager was all she could do because she had no way to refund or reroute on her end. This is beyond disappointing. I have placed several orders with JCPenney in the last few weeks, spent hundreds, and had no issues. This is completely unacceptable and I expect JCPenney to rectify this situation immediately.

Desired outcome: Find the comforter so I can pick up @ Hayward store and provide a significant discount.Cancel the order and reorder the comforter, ship home free, and provide a significant discount.Cancel the order, refund the full total to the credit card

JC Penney 201 Westshore Plaza, Tampa, FL 33609 JC Penney store location

I would like to make a complaint about the Tampa, FL store at Westshore Plaza. I was in there last evening, rushing to pick something up after work since the closing time is ridiculously early now (7pm).

There was still 15 minutes until the store closed and I saw a blouse I liked and went to try it on. In the fitting room I was not greeted by the sullen woman sitting there looking very displeased that I wanted to try on merchandise. I said hello and she just looked at me like she didn't understand me. While I was in the fitting room, another woman came and they spoke about me in Spanish, thinking I couldn't understand.

Basically, the sullen woman was complaining that I came in the fitting room. The other woman told her in Spanish that she needs to lock the fitting room area.

I left to grab a smaller size and returned to find the woman trying to drag a clothing cart in front of the entrance. It was 6:49. Eleven minutes until closing.

I walked in, went to a fitting room and tried on the new size. I really liked the blouse and wanted to buy it but I could hear the two women disparaging me in Spanish. I left without getting the shirt, lest I upset another employee by trying to actually buy something.

Does your store close at 7pm or does it close at 6:45pm? Are you in the business of selling merchandise? Do you prefer not to serve English speaking customers?

As a lifelong customer of JC Penney, I always go there before I look anywhere else but I'm starting to feel like my loyalty and business are not appreciated.

Unfortunately, this isn't my first negative experience at my local JC Penney store. I would strongly suggest you put some energy into improving customer service because it's currently at rock bottom. If I really wanted such an experience, I can go to my local Walmart and be treated poorly.

Grossly understaffing your stores with people who very clearly telegraph their dislike of who they assume to be non-Spanish speaking customers and don't want to work until closing is a dealbreaker for me.

Desired outcome: CUSTOMER SERVICE IMPROVEMENT TRAINING. HIRE ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF.

JC Penney geneva watvh

my mum bought a Geneva watch in JC Penney store , 5050 E Ray Rd , Phoenix , AZ . on feb 2, 2023 , she brought it back to Hong Kong already . 2 days ago , the pin dropped down and the watch dropped . she discovered the pin is rusting . i did not keep the receipt but i used my phone member to register for rewards at the cashier when i paid .

JC Penney Placing an order and having it shipped to an incorrect address

Placed an order on 3-17 for 97.24 worth of items, When I got my order confirmation email, I saw that it was shipping to my old address in another state. I called JC Penney 800 number and the customer service person told me that he could not change the ship to address since the order was 30 minutes past. I called them as soon as I got the email and it was maybe 45 minutes after I placed the order. He informed me to contact the carrier's, I tried that, part of the order was USPS and the other was UPS. I tried to change the delivery addresses, I couldn't. So now I am out almost $100.00 for product I didn't receive. Order # [protected].

Desired outcome: Just want to be credited for the items I did not get and NEVER buy from JC Penney's again.

JC Penney Gift cards for $100 each = $200

Right before Christmas of 2022 I bought two gift cards for $100 dollars each. They were to be Christmas gifts for my granddaughters. I bought these cards with my JC Pennys charge account. My granddaughter when to the Chico store to buy stuff and were told there was no money on one card and $3.46 on the other. When my children could not buy what they wanted and told they had no money in front of other customers they were very embarrassed. I have been pursuing this matter since January of 2023 and have receive absolutely no cooperation from the billing department and have had absolutely no help from your organization. My account is still being charged $200 and I am sure interest for a purchase of gift cards worth $3.46. When I called the gift card operator they were able to see that the cards had been used online. I am telling your organization for the last time that my granddaughter, myself, or anyone in my family did not use these cards online or in anyway.

My name is David Carl Overton acct ending in 9718 and I will be taking my receipts for these cards to the store in which I bought them and filing another complaint to the store manager as well as contacting the better business bureau and Legal Service of Northern California. I have made numerous phone calls regarding this matter and have had your employees snub their noses at me. I want you to know that I am the guardian of four children and live on a fixed income due to their needs. Your company is allowing Christmas time theft from under-privileged children and I am tired of receiving no help or reimbursement from your staff. I will pay my bill until we are down to $200 dollars. At that time if your company has not reimbursed me I will see you in court with my entire family and will be asking for damages greater than the value of these cards. Check the phone calls I have made. I am not paying $200 for a gift card that had $3.45 cents on it that your accounting office can track and see the cards were not used by the Overton family. Trying to rebuild my credit and I will fight this $200.00 purchase with every resource I have. I am extremely upset that someone has used these cards and your company doesn't seem to care.

Desired outcome: I want my granddaughters to receive the $200.00 of purchases they are entitled to or that the $200.00 plus any interest be removed from my account.

JC Penney Delivery charges

3/13/23, at 1:42 pm, I ordered 2 items online, a pair of men's Levi jeans and a top on clearance for myself. [protected]) When I checked my email, I saw only the shirt for me. My PayPal account had already been approved for $36.72. I did not receive an email informing me that the Levi's were out of stock. So, as it was, I was paying more for shipping than the clearance top cost. I went back online and ordered another pair of jeans in a different size [protected]⁷, 3:54 pm) and was charged another delivery fee. I chatted with customer service, who basically said that they could not be of any help. I asked them if they could cancel the top, and no, they could not. Nor would they reverse a delivery fee that I don't think I should have pay, due to the status of the first order.

JC Penney Wedding ring

I bought mine and my husband's wedding ring at JC Penny in September 2022. We got married in October 2022. Between November2022 and January2023 4 diamonds fell out of the ring.

The first time I contacted customer Service, I was informed that I was sold a damaged product and I need to send it in for repair.

I was later informed that I will have to return to the store where I will be expected to pay for the repair.

I was informed by one of the sales person that I probably should have just bought a cheap band if I couldn't afford a more expensive durable ring.

The original cost of the ring was almost $1400 dollars.

Based on JC penny's policy, each time a stone falls out, I have to bring it in for repair. Based on that policy, I will never get a chance to wear and enjoy my ring as currently, I am losing a stone per month.

Desired outcome: I would like JC Penny to either refund me the cost of the ring or replace it with a better quality ring at a comparable cost.

JC Penney Getting funds back

On 2/7/2023 I invertly sent in a large amount of money (5000.00) to Jcp by mistake. It was suppose to have went to my mortgage Co. As soon as I discovered the error I contact my Bank but they couldn't stop it and they suggested I contact JCP Which I did. Upon talking to Customer service they said they could not send it back the way I sent it to them but would send me a check for 5000.00 dollars seeing tat it was an error. I also ask that they do not apply it to my balance as I had already made a payment. I needed that amount back so I can pay off my mortgage they said it would take 7 to 10 days and I said OK. Now it is going on 14 days and I have called 3 times and they r telling me I have a credit of 4367.00! They applied the money to my balance which I had already paid! I need my money back all of it as I made a payment and asked for it to not be applied to the open balance. Also I keep getting the round a round and no one has contacted me and it is getting very stressful I need help. Please help

contact your bank and contest the transaction or put a stop payment on the item. you absolutely can get your money back, but it requires the the bank's action to recover the funds by revoking authorization on the transaction.

JC Penney Failure to deliver merchandise

I PLACED AN ORDER ON 12/6/22 FOR 2 RESTONIC SCOTT BROS. TWIN XL MATTRESSES.. They were to de delivered on 1/4/23.. that came and went, I called at least 10x's and got 10 different answers, I supposedly talked to 2 supervisors and was told that they could not find the carrier and there was no tracking number to check them... I was given the answer to ck back in 2-5 days if I had not gotten my order that week, well to no avail my order never came and when I tried to do a chat on line the hung up her name was Brenda.. I WAS NOT RUDE, I just asked her if I was being scammed as no one could give me a direct answer only to say that they couldn't find the carrier and did not know how to find out as the number they had would no longer work.. this went on from 12.6 to 2/2 when I told them to cancel the order and return my 1709.86 that I had already paid in full.. Karla told me it would be credited to my account and sycnchrony would issue a ck... my account was not credited so I call the Syncrohny and filed a dispute... I received my refund today as I had to order 2 mattresses from another company and pay for them, I also notified the Scott Brothers of this fiasco to let them know that their products were not being delivered as promised.. I have heard back and they are not happy with JCP.. now I hv been a customer for many years and from this point on I am cancelling my card and will never by anything else locally or on line... yr Cs sucks as they did not even return my call as they promised and made no effort to resolve this issue and try to compensate or reorder... I don't figure I will get a reply as JCP doesn't seem to care about customers but I will let social media know and friends.. This what u get for CS when u outsource to a call center.. get real JCP your company is not being represented in good lite...

JC Penney online ordering

I ordered three pieces of clothing online and set my home address as the shipping address. everything went through without any issues. 2 weeks past the delivery date, i called customer service and they read off the address they shipped it too. It was the wrong address. The customer service person basically told me to go pound sand and it wasn't jcpenny's problem. I hope the people at the address enjoy the clothes i bought them. I will never buy anything from jcpenny ever again. I have never been told off by customer service like that. I couldn't believe there was nothing they could do and they just blamed me. Think twice before buying anything from this mess of a company.

Desired outcome: I don't have an outcome as nothing will be done. I have was completely robbed. It wouldn't shock me if one of your order processors changed the address themselves and pocketed my stuff.
