Please check this info to ensure its true or not
That's so weird. I just received the same email from them dated 19th April 2008, with the same exact ticket number KIA-UK008N078372NCH with draw number K09N77 . It claims that I won the 2nd category prize as well.
Is this a scam?
yeah... i received a same e mail too.
same ticket n draw number!
got the same email... sent by different person... same ticket no and draw no. ... promotion held on 15th april instead of 10 april...
anyways, i think its a scam...
i got that too! gotta be a scam, definitely!
received the exact same email.. pls be warned, most likely a scam
Yes, I also received similar edited email... do be careful ppl...
i got the same email with different contact person. got to be a scam!
well... I got it too...
Too bad if it is a scam.
I wished it was true though :(
I got the same email on 19 April. I believe its a scam. If KIA motors giving away the car, why is the email address from XXXX@ yahoo.it why not from XXXX@kia.com. its better not to give your abnk account # or mobile #.
I have received similar e-mail as well. It could be a scam. By the way, did you reply?
I got exactly the same email
same `ticket number`, and draw number
dont think we can claim our cash and car with the same ticket!
(I even checked the address: none of the info match, company name, postcode and street doesnt match at all)
sorry for the disappointment mate!
oh and chris - DONT REPLY! that would only invite 100 times more spam...
omg. .. luckly i didnt reply the email yet ... i got the same email four hours ago .. but i dont really believe it cos where got so big "frog" jumping around the street one ... lol ...
somemore i dont thnk i m that lucky anyway to won so BIG prize ...haha ...
btw .. the person name who email me was called "Yap Yoon Sin " and the email was dated 20th april ...the rest of the detail on the email are ALL the SAME !
anyway i ll call up Kia m'sia to find out what is going on 1st ...
Yes it is fraud. It has been circulating around and I just received. You can search in Google map UK that the 'agent's' address doesn't match the postcode at all. Queensland road is in Islington, Central London while the postcode is in South West London! The postcode of MR2 8GD is not found at all. Manchester's postcode starts by M, not MR.
Please be careful not to fall for it!
Oh really? I have just sent out my personal particulars. So what will happen next?
I got the same email too~its from a person named Yap Yoon Sin...wat's going on with these guys keep bringing up fraud case?all the prize an numbers are the same as all of u above...how i wish it was true!haha~~
Hope Kia can do sumting on it...
I have received the same email abaout winning notification. I tried to call the telephoe number stated in the email but no reply. I called KIA Motors agent in my country but they knew nothing.
I received the same email abaout winning notification from KIA Motors Worldwide Ltd. I tried to call the contact person's telephone number, but no reply. I contacted the KIA MOTORS agent in my country but they know nothing about the matter. Please help me.

lol this car really nice..
i GOT THIS EMAIL ALSO! DAMN! I TOT IS FOR REAL MAN! MUST CHECK WITH MY COUNTRY AUTHORITY OR POLICE DEPARTMENT ON THIS EMAIL SOON.
I've got the email date on 30th April 2008 too.
same person, same ticket number, same withdraw number.
It makes me felt so real as it is not in my junk mail. but Is very lucky i got a habit to surf net for these kind of things before i act.
I've surf to a blog...it said something quite useful..i hope can help u all in future regards these kinda mail.
1. Like Murni said above; if it is really from kia, it will use email address like xxx@kia.com. But normally they will inform you by using mail that delivered by our nice Mr. postman and not email.
2. Think logically, how can you win a price that you never participated in any competition/lucky draw before?
3. Announce in Media. If you really won product, the company of that product will surely announce in Media as it is a good chance to advertise their product.
i did receive the same email. so what is action taken by KIA?
I got it too. It say the draw date is 10th may 2008. The problem with this email is I remembered there is a news article in straits times letting people to take part. O well I reported to the police so let them find out. Thank goodness its not for real. Sometime with lots of money, one can be unhappy too.
Damn! i got also sia...i tot its real man...bt its fake! omg...its same date same serial num...i think i shud report it 2 police...damn!
I got this email this morning... i was surprised but i know this must be a scam as i never have any Kia vehicles or took part in any lottery lucky draw etc.. so, this guy is stupid as we are smarter than him & his gang... !
I have the f***king same email sent to me..
I called Mustapha and talked to him for a while and he said this notification is for true..However, he sort of backed out when i ask for further details and clarification. He sounds freaking nervous when he talks and wanted to avoid me and therefore said he'll get back to me by mail!
What a lousy scam!
oh by the way, KIA KEE car is still only a concept car, in which the company is not even selling it yet!
this ###s are ###...If they ever tried to call me, i will surely verbally abuse them and ask them to f*** off and find something better to do with their lives!

An email address mentioned inside this email has been used in a known fraud before.
This email lists mobile phone numbers. Use of such numbers is typical for scams because they allow criminals to conceal their true location. They can receive calls in an Internet cafe from where they send you emails, while pretending to be in some office.
This email lists free webmail addresses. Besides personal use for legitimate purposes, use of such addresses is also typical for scams. NOTE: Lotteries, banks, government agencies and any but the smallest of companies do not normally use such addresses. Criminals use them to anonymously send and receive email at Internet cafes.
