Kohl's review: False advertising, theft from account

I filed a complaint with the ftc & maine attorney general. We purchased a sampler kit of cologne. It offers 1 free full bottle picked from 7. It specifically says "you may redeem your scent certificate on kohls, com. 1st we went to an augusta maine store to turn in the coupon. They had none. There was 1 bottle in the whole state about 3 hours away from where we live.

So I went to kohls.com and redeemed the coupon and it showed on the screen $0. I only had to pay shipping 8.95. Somehow it changed to take out 120.27 from my account and I never gave them permission to do that.

So I called kohls, com with a number listed on line. The representative said they don't take any coupons or discounts online! I spoke to her supervisor. They offered me kohls cash which is not acceptable. It is my money and I never approved for them to take anything but 8.95 from my acct. They said it will take up to 30 days to get my refund. I need it now. Then I called the bangor store manager who added that since I redeemed the code online it won't be able to be used to get the $114 cologne, we spent $80 on the sampler because we could get 1 free.

This is false advertising, not having the supplies in store or state. And stating it can be redeemed on kohls.com, them saying it was redeemed then stealing 114 from my account and not being able to redeem it at all.

I am furious and want my money back immediately-it is for xmas, and my product as promised.
