credit card scammers
Kohl’s should be ashamed!Don’t use their credit cards!
Kohl’s likes to repeat repeat “We appreciate the opportunity to assist you”. Really? I don’t think so! In my opinion Kohl’s will destroy your credit and rip you off with an astronomical fee.
In three months after Kohl’s sending the bill to the wrong address, Kohl’s forced my credit rating to drop MORE than 120 POINTS and gouged me with a fee of over 330%. THREE HUNDRED THIRTY PERCENT? Can you believe that? In just three months.
Kohl’s says it’s all legal. Do you really want to do business with a company like that? Kohl’s says that they appreciate the opportunity to assist you. I would like very much for this bully of a company to repair my credit and refund my over payment for using a Kohl’s credit card and for being a customer.
Kohl’s has just asked me for a PM and incident number from their brutal treatment of one of their customers. I have no idea what they are asking me for. Kohl’s never gave me the courtesy of offering me any assistance or any PM or I# when kohl’s sent bills to a wrong address.
Kohl’s it should have been obvious that a contact was needed in your company, but you offered none.Kohl’s’ customers you have been warned!
Thanks to the idiots that work at Kohl's who responded to my blog. [censor] you, how much does Kohl's pay you to post negative comments and harass the customer. I will be taking your company to court and suing you for the problems that you have caused.
ROSELLA - I am with you. I do not make it a habit to pay bills that I do not receive in the mail. I find it advantageous to use the Kohl's card only for the discounts and then immediately after the purchase, while still at the cash register, I pay off the card in cash when possible.
WINE IS GOOD - You take an obnoxiously pious, sanctimonious, self-righteous "holier than thou" attitude, just because you are a mere pharmacy technician who uses a different approach to bill paying. How dare you assume that misdirected mail is the fault of the intended recipient. You are a nothing more than a kuhnt.
billing
I placed an order on 4/27/17 that totaled $82.35. $67.37 of it was only available online and $14.98 in store pick up. On 4/28/17 I noticed I had 4 auths on my debit account. One for the $82, one for $67 and two for the $14. I called the customer service number and Shaine said I do not know why we charge like that but we do.I asked to speak ot a supervisor and got Marco who continues to say it is absolutely legal what we are doing to auth on your debit card double + 14.98 on your card because they will drop off. But in the mean while we will hold $180. It is not legal to auth that. My receipt says $82.35 that is the only amount I authorized to pay nothing more or less how KOHLS needs to handle it internally whether not to allow partial warehouse and in store orders is their own problem but they have no right on holding more than double of the amount that I paid for because they do not have all the products in store or allow partial orders. I asked Marco for an EID and the Corp number and he felt he can have an attitude about it. I am sorry Kohls has such representation for management and poor ability to find a way to bill people appropriately. It is not ok to charge more than what is auth.
cheater company!
I bought a pair of shoes from Kohl's and they sent me the wrong size.
I immediately contacted Kohl's and explained what was the problem. I asked if there was a possibility to get an exchange and they said of course. But then they said that I had to pay for the return shipping!
I don't understand that! They were the ones who made the mistake and they said that I was responsible for return shipping! That is not fair and absolutely wrong! I refused to do that and contacted my bank and opened a dispute against Kohl's. It was difficult and took us a lot of time, but thanks to my bank I got my money back. Don't deal with Kohl's, they are cheater company!
kohl's department store credit account
I take responsibility for my actions or mistakes and my credit score is usually in the upper 700s (excellent). I am very savvy with computers, organized and do not look for excuses in order to complain. Yet, I will take the time to file a complaint here because of how broken the Kohl's credit processes are. They offer discounts at the cash register in a way that when you agree and sign on the digital signature pad, you do not realize that you just signed up for a credit account for which you will receive no bill in the mail. I made a very honest mistake, I simply forgot about the $102 purchase I made for my son - all my accounts are on auto pay so I do not usually reconcile manually. After 3 months I received the first email/call. I called them and they were unable to locate my account. It took me a total of a few hours of effort on the phone to be able to solve the problem while dealing with completely inept Kohl's employees. They were unhelpful, not knowledgeable about their own processes and not empowered to make decisions. Finally they were able to locate and identify my account and I promptly paid everything I owed including the late fees. Unfortunately, during the 90 days that passed they dinged my credit 3 times as a "serious delinquency". I spend over 200K a year on consumables, $102 is not serious in my books. I made several calls, asked for escalation to be able to talk to a manager to try to remove at least some of the dings from my credit but all employees were - once again - not knowledgeable and not able or willing to help. They treated me as if I was dishonest, or not worthy to deal with. My credit score temporarily sank to the mid 600s and it resulted in other creditors lowering my limits. Over a very short period of time I ended up losing close to $250, 000 in the form of credit limit extended to me. This drove my balance to limit ratio above acceptable limits causing further decline in my score. By the time it was said and done my credit score was just under 600 and I was in a serious cashflow crunch since I back my small business with my personal credit as the owner. All of this over $102 of merchandise. As I said, I am not opposed to consequences to a delinquency, or making a mistake - however, the way I was treated and the way the Koh's process is set up, it is incredibly poor customer service. I have forgotten about a payment before and the other creditor (one with quality employees and service) called/emailed me within a few weeks (instead of quietly ruining my credit) and the issue was resolved immediately with no heartache on anyone's end. It is possible to resolve these types of issues with a good process and good people and I argue it works much better in the long term. As it sits now (2 years have passed and my credit is back to normal) I still think about this bad experience I had and I still tell about it to as many people as I can find - and I will continue to do so. And I will never buy anything from Kohl's again.
women's tees
After several washings the woman's tees shrink so much in length that they are too short. The colors and designs are wonderful but the shrinking is not acceptable. I will no longer be shopping Kohls since that is where I bought most of my casual clothing. If the shrinkage can be stopped I would like to be notified. Until then goodbye from a good customer.
e-mail [protected]@gmail.com
I agree completely! I am disappointed because I really like these shirts, but I have too many that I can no longer wear because they are too short.
kohl's 2 problems...
Long time kohl's customer.
Early Spring of 2016, I gave the store my new address change and paid my bill. I thought my bill was paid up, because i paid the remaining balance . I did not receive any new bills or forwarded mail to new address. By Summer 2016, on day i applied for auto loan found out my credit was a lot lower than i knew. I called my credit card companies. No problems until Kohls. That day i paid and updated/changed my address store must have only processed my payment not my new address. Apparently then Kohls operator stated many times they would fix it and take late fees off and not report me/ take me off poor credit rating. As next month came, they took off late fee but did report me to have a poor credit rating. That was/is disgusting. They said they had my phone #, my email account... but they didnt think of reaching out to me those ways even though my mail they sent me was getting returned to them.

My father was hospitalized shortly after that day, 12/23/16, then into a coma, then passed away Jan 6, 2017. I had purchased the Men's LS wovens Shirt for my dad. He never wore and had tags, still folded, and My mom did not want it. She said return it.
On 1/17/2017, 3:49pm 1257/0026/1393/4 1992XXX
I had my receipt, lady said that i had received a kohls cash with purchase and that i would only get back 12. 38 back for shirt. She said if i exhange it / or purchase it would have to be a 54.00 item, without using any coupons or redeming my rewards points. She told me repeatly. I tried to explain i do not remember using the kohls cash. I explained that why does it have to be 54.00, why shouldnt it be 22.38 because it was on sale and if i had paid the regular sale price of all my products that then i should had recieved $30.00 in kohls cash. She continued to repeat herself. I said i would go exchange something for the 22.38, but she shut me down talking then as did her sales associate next to her. I asked my boyfriend if she was correct he said no due to i only spent 22.38 on product. I said i would get an exchange. I told them of that my dad passed away and i would try to find a product. i walked away to get something to exchange. My boyfriend then stood there and the sales woman processed my receipt. I got the 12.38 back on my card. I am again disguisted with Kohls customer service.
I want my credit rating fixed and the customer service training improvement at Newton store for those involved in these incidents. I have over 16 years of customer service experience. It is a embarrassment and awful to experience this and does not make me want to continue to return.

better shop elsewhere
Kohls is very unprofessional and they can't provide proper service. I bought from them twice and both times they gave me nothing but trouble. Twice I received incorrect items and had to waste my time and go through the return process. I bought from them only because they had some items I wasn't able to find elsewhere. I will not order from Kohls again because of their poor service, Kohls support is not helpful. Better shop elsewhere.
unethical practices
The text below is from a letter that was sent to kohl's executives in september 2016. They did nothing about it, and all of the parties involved still work at kohls.
I am writing to inform you of a violation of kohl’s ethical standards policy on the part of a senior manager within their institution.
In may of 2016, kohl’s real estate and property administration teams used funds provided by kohl’s human resources department to go on a team outing to the I love kickboxing club located in brookfield, wi. The group, made up of employees ranging from administrative assistants to a senior vice president and 2 directors consisted of approximately 13 employees in total. This certain senior manager was included in the outing group, and is also an active member of the kickboxing club. At the same time, the club was holding a raffle for active members to receive entries for non-members that they refer. The senio manager received entries in the drawing for each of her coworkers who attended the kohl’s outing, and subsequently won the drawing, personally receiving a $1, 000.00 cash prize. (See the attached photo from the facebook page of the kickboxing club. )
At the time of the outing, because kohl’s paid for the event, the kickboxing club was kohl’s vendor, yet the senior manager personally received the cash prize. Page 13 of kohl’s ethical standards policy states that receiving cash and/or gifts and prizes from outside vendors is never allowed. This certainly seems like a kickback of sorts. On page 1 of the ethical standards policy, questions are posed regarding the defensibility of the actions of associates, and how their actions affect their team and the reputation of the company. Was kohl’s human resources department aware of this occurrence? Did her supervisor approve of her actions? How did her coworkers feel about her keeping a sizable cash prize for herself? Do they even know?
customer service & warehouse
I ordered a pair of men's slides from Kohl's.com on Nov. 25. I got them in a timely manner and pulled one out to make sure it was the correct item when I received it but then put them away as they were a Christmas gift. When my son opened them on Christmas day, he loved them but soon discovered that there were two left shoes.
The next day, I tried to return them in the store (which is an hour drive to the nearest one). They tried to help me re-order another pair on their kiosk, but the correct size was unavailable. So, I called customer service. The man promised me they would be available soon (probably in the next week). He told me to ask the cashiers at returns in the store because they would be able to tell me when the shoes would be available again. The cashiers (& managers who were involved at this point) didn't know what this man was talking about. They didn't have that ability. Then, come to find out, when I tried to return the two left shoes, I wouldn't get a full refund because I had since used Kohl's cash. So, I didn't return the shoes that day, hoping I would be able to do an even exchange.
I was so confused as to why these associates were not on the same page, that I called customer service again, less than an hour later. This lady took the time to "check manually, " as she called it and was able to find the shoes I needed. I gave her a description of the shoes to make sure they were the same ones and double checked the size because I was surprised that she found them available. She said that with the volume of calls that they get, some agents don't take the time to check manually. She even took care to get the price down to my original cost and got them shipped in two days.
Two days later (Dec. 28), the shoes came, and my son was so excited. He opened them to find out that they were the wrong size. When I looked back to review the order that was sent to me, the order had the wrong size on it. I immediately called customer service again. The guy apologized. He said my best bet was to return both pair of shoes to the store, and he would send out the correct pair, again in 2 days. Again, I double checked the description of the shoe and the size. Again, I was told they were available.
We were out of town the next two days, but I used the trip to return the two pairs of incorrect shoes. When we returned home on Dec. 30th (when the cs agent said the shoes would be there). They hadn't been delivered, so I checked my order status online. I saw that the delivery date had been changed to Dec. 31. But the shocker was that the shoes were not even close to anything like my previous orders or my description on the phone. I'm not sure what's happening. Are the customer service agents that bad at placing orders, or are their orders being changed by the warehouse because the shoe they tell me IS available isn't actually available.
So, I called customer service AGAIN! They guy was nice and couldn't believe that this had happened again. He told me that I would have to return this pair to a store also. Remember, the nearest store to me is an hour drive away. Then he told me that the shoe I needed WAS available but the soonest he could get it there was Jan. 4 because of New Year's weekend. We double checked the description and the size.
After we got off the phone, I checked my order status and my confirmation email just to make sure it said the right item. Both were good. Today I thought I'd check my order status again just to make sure it hadn't been changed. I was shocked to find that the order had been cancelled because that shoes was unavailable.
I can't explain how much phone time, how much driving time, how much money has been wasted on this MISTAKE! It is SO FRUSTRATING. All I get is a "Sorry about that." And now I have to go spend more money at another store to get the shoes for my son. I am so very disappointed in the Kohl's customer service & warehouse staff. You've made one young boy very sad & one momma very upset! Absolutely pathetic!
food network multicolor 20-pc. flatware set
I am very disappointed with this product. I have had mine a less than a year and almost half of them are broken. It started off with the metal plugs coming out of the bottom and then they would crack and bend. Some have completely broken apart to where I have had to throw them away. They were always washed by hand too never in the dishwasher. They said I couldn't return them because they were used. I expected to have a better quality product from Food Network.
kohl's deceptive marketing practices.
I purchased an item on sale at kohl's.com as a christmas gift. The following day i received an email that told me i had earned "kohl's cash." i thought this was a promotional program like many stores use by giving you money to use towards a new purchase. I saw this reward had to be used within a few days so i went into their store. I asked the clerk about the reward and they said it was a thank you for my previous purchase. I picked out a few things for stocking stuffers and some coffee filters, nothing i was going to buy or would have other wise purchased. The day after christmas, my daughter asked me if she could exchange her gift for an upgrade that she would pay the difference on. I agreed and said i would take care of it. When i went to exchange the gift for the next improved model i was told i had to return the original item but only receive a portion of the original cost, minus the kohl's cash reward money i had used. I asked if i could return all the merchandise and was told i would still receive the discounted portion of cash and the remainder in a kohl's cash card. This deceitful marketing practice is steals from it's customers and helps to breakdown the trust of the public towrds reputable stores that don't deceive their patrons. I will never shop with them again as i don't trust them to treat me fairly if i have a product issue. Other department stores or retailers don't treat people this way.
Gene barbour
I'm happy to report that Kohl's has decided to do the right thing and refunded my entire purchase to me. 1/9/2017. Thank you Kohl's for doing what is ethical and honest. Now if only this could have a trickle down affect throughout the country. We can only hope.
Best Regards, Gene Barbour
gloria vanderbuilt amanda jeans
I love these jeans and I purchased 4 pairs from Kohl's a little more than a month ago.
I have one pair that I didn't wear a lot because I would save this pair to wear on the weekend. I've maybe worn them 3 times and washed twice. After purchasing this pair, I tried them on at home and found the zipper would show a little but I thought my tops would cover that. As you see in the picture I'm sending, there is a slight deviation in the way the zipper was stitched. Therefore, allowing the zipper to be pulled from the fabric. You will see how the material is frayed. I believe this happened because it was poor quality material or poor workmanship or both.
I have had no problems with the other jeans I purchased.
Can you compensate me for these jeans since there is no way I can wear them now. I'll be glad to send the jeans to you for examination.
Thank you for your help in this matter. Please advise.
fix epay
honestly im just quite angry about the epay system.
ive been an employee for like 3 months now and i still cant log on to that system to see anything.
i try to enter my password and it tells me its wrong, ive done this at work, it still tells me im wrong, but i can log on to my cash register just fine.
it says reset using "Self Care" but doesnt link to anything. (AKA THATS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL)
if i try to call in to change my password i go through a maze of 8 bots then to finally get my new password and the bot thats reading it off to me is UNINTELLIGIBLE.
please just let me reset my password over the internet, like how every other website works.
it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
also you only get 3 attempts to hear it then it kicks you off the line, BRILLIANT MOVE!
scam
My name is Naomi Mays-Matthews, I am writing this letter due to my experience I'm receiving from Kohl's. On December 04, 2016 I walked into kohl's, Mind you the day before, I had just spent $186.00 in the store. I walked into THE establishment with my seven year old son. As I'm walking through the aisles of the Nike department to pick out my little brother a sweater I immediately felt an excruciating pain. That is when I screamed and looked down to see where the pain was coming from and it was my right foot. At the time I had on house shoes but they could pass as shoes due to the way it looked with no socks. The pain grew so I lifted my foot up and notice a red circle stuck to my shoe. I then pulled the red circle out and let out another scream. This is when I notice it was a nail that went straight through my foot. I advise the lady standing next to me to watch her child as its nails laying face up on the floors. I then limped to the checkout desk. I asked your associate what is this and she advised me this was their sensor that they stick on the clothes. I asked her why is it laying out on the aisle face up, she advised an associate had to drop it and didn't notice. Then she asked me was that me screaming, I advised yes. Still to this day I'm wondering if they heard me scream why they would not come see what wrong to help. Then I stated I was bleeding and I stepped on that face needle sticking straight up. The needle went through my shoe into my foot. She called for green oaks I'm assuming this is code for manager. A lady then came and I advised to her what had happened, she never said she was sorry all she stated was wow. She then went and got band aids and alcohol wipes. I whipped the blood up and bandage my foot and she gave me an incident report to fill out. No one helped me carry my bags no one offered to walk with me nothing. The customer service I received was an believable. Checking my thing out my total was around $250.00, no one offered any kind of discount it was like this never happened, Your associates failed to keep the environment clean and safe for their customers. I'm baffled from the lack of empathy from their associates. This was negligence on kohl's behalf. It was your sensor lying in the isle needle face up where your customers are walking and shopping. The area was not clean or safe my son could have fell on the sensor. I went to the ER to seek medical attention, I received a TB shot, pain MEDS and anti-biotic. My claims rep JILL from corporate stated she was sorry. I advised her kohl's needs to pay the medical bill, She stated that they will take care of the bill once I receive IT, then I send her the bill and Jill (my examiner) proceeds to ask me “do you think you could apply for some assistance to get the bill lowered NO! In my head I'm thinking this has to be a joke, so she ask for my medical recorders I gave her that then she then offers me a $50 kohl's gift card and she wants to speak to the hospital on possibly lowering the bill, meaning they might not pay it all, or in time so it would not affect my credit negatively. Even though I have emails saying they would. This place is a joke and their all about money not safety of their customers! They don't keep their establishment clean nor do they care that you are stuck with a dirty needle that was made there! I cancelled my credit card and hired an attorney.
SO BE AWARE IF YOU CATCH AN INFECTION FROM KOHLS FROM STEPPING ON THEIR PRODUCTS THEY DO NOT CARE! I WROTE THE PRESIDENT AND HE READ IT AND DIDN'T EVEN RESPOND, my claims representative (Jill) told me he read it but I have yet to hear from him. So I'll be perusing this further. I'm spreading the word to all my family my BLOG family an FB and Instagram friends DO NOT SHOP AT KOHLS IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN GOOD HEALTH AND STRESS FREE. One day of shopping there can cause you months of legal pain so BE AWARE
nutri ninja duo blender with auto iq
I received an e-mail from Kohl's with a list of doorbuster deals with pictured items and their "doorbuster" price for December 12, 2016. One of the pictures was of a Nutri Ninja Duo Blender. It did not have a sku next to it or the name, but there is no mistaking the picture. The price listed beneath was $119. When you clicked on the picture you were brought to a small appliance grouping of items for $119 doorbuster price. The Nutri Ninja Duo Blender was not among those listed. There was a Nutri 660BL and a Nutri Ninja Bowl for that price - either could have been pictured in the original advertisement, but were not. I don't believe the advertisement picture was an inadvertent error. It was a classic bait and switch. I contacted customer service. They are nice enough, but can't do anything.
As a "door buster" price the $119 for the Nutri Ninja BL660 or the Nutri Ninja Bowl was ridiculous. You can get those items anywhere for $119 and for $20 less on Amazon.
Beware the bait and switch at KOHLS.
rebates
I had purchased a few items that included rebates. I submitted everything necessary and they never came. Called and they finally sent them out earlier 2016. Tried using them at the gas station and they did not work. Called and they said they would send out replacement cards. Finally tried using the cards and now they are expired. called customer service and spoke to a Wendy who has no customer service skills whatsoever, very disrespectful. Said I am out of luck and cannot get a replacement. This enough will keep me from ever shopping at kohls
boots.
I've had the boots less than a month and the leather uppers, or what I thought was leather stared to separate from the fabric it was glued to, bubbling up in several places. I didn't expect them to last for ever but when it is only a month and already failing like this, clearly the manufacture of the leather or should I say faux leather is questionable Junk. You get what you pay for. Kohls sells everything on sale so you think you are getting a deal on some really good product, but my guess is that they really are an inferior product priced high. In my mind though I still thought it was a good product. My opinion of croft and barrow is for ever tarnished...
kohl's cash never given
to whom it may concern
i made a purchase on black Friday, in hopes of receiving the offer of $15.00 kolhs cash for every 50.00 spent.
so we spent $130.00, I was told they would send my kolhs cash via email, because the Kiosk in store was not able to print. so I called numerous times, on the 6th of December they finally sent kolhs cash to my email account. but when I printed it out on the 6th, the expiration date was the 5th of December.
that is a form of fraud, I spoke to 3 supervisors that said they cannot help .so I guess my only option for the sales fraud {promise of something} . is to return all my items for a refund of 130.00 and go purchase the items at another store.
if your company cannot find a way to honor your promise, I will return product and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
thanks for your help or consideration in this matter.

This is the first time I purchased your clothing line and it will probably be the last time as well.
