Kohl's Customer Service

Three times in the past couple of months, the cashier advised that I was just short by $3.00 to $5.00 to receive another $10.00 in Kohl's Cash - AFTER she had already finalized the sale!

It would seem customer-friendly to advise of this BEFORE the purchase is finalized. Please note that only one cashier had advised that an additional $2.00 purchase would earn another $10.00 in Kohl's Cash.

Please respond to my concern.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response.

Kohl's Pricing of items

I recently went to Kohls, Bridgeton Missouri store to purchase a pair of booties.

The price was $98.00

I went back to the store after receiving a coupon for 35% off.

Great! Now I could afford the shoes.

To my dismay the price was upped to $125.00 FOR THE SAME SHOE THAT I SAW LAST WEEK FOR $98.00!

After taking the 35% percent off, I'd be right back to the 98.00 price!

How crude!

I truly never expected Kohls to up their prices so that they could dupe the customer! This is unfair. And I wonder how many other prices were changed to be sure we are paying a higher price. UNFAIR!

Desired outcome: I want the price put to where it was before the coupon arrived, then I can use my coupon for a definite savings!!!!!

Kohl's Match a pay email from kohls

I received an email from Kohl's customer service on November 15th. The email stated I was behind on my payments, but if I made the $61 payment they would provide up to $50 Match to my Kohl's charge card. I called and spoke with customer service. The customer service lady stated if I made the $61 payment and the November payment it would be close to $150 payment with the Match A Pay. I agreed and paid $108 on Nov 23th, when I got paid. I had asked the Customer Service rep repeatedly about the $50 Match A Pay and she said yes it would happen automatically. Again, I asked several times. When I received my statement last week 11/30/22, it should my payment of $103, but not the extra $50. I called the customer service number and they said my account is current and I don't qualify for the $50. I said it wasn't current when I called back on Nov 15th and so that's why I made the 3 months payments at once to get the extra $50 to help cut my balance in half. I told her I asked the other person repeatedly about it and the current lady said it wasn't in the notes. I'm through disgusted that Kohl's sends out false information in email. Although I would still like the $50 or more because of my headaches and having to call. Also, there is no email to complain to Kohl's you have to call and they just say the same thing, your account is current.

Kohl's Charge on my account

I looked at my purchases on line and saw an item that I did not purchase. The items were purchased in the store. On Nov 18th I purchased $138 worth of items. There is a charge for 24.99 plus tax for Men's sleep/lounge. I called the number on the back of my Kohls card 2 times and was told to take it to the Kohls store, they could not do anything. I went into the store and they said it did not show to be on my Kohls card even though it shows on my purchases which were charged to my Kohl's card, upc code [protected]. I did not buy this item! transaction no. 008078. My account no is [protected]. I shop at the Tupelo Ms. Kohls.

Desired outcome: credit my Kohls card for this mistaken charge

Kohl's Exchange of an item that was on sale

I placed an order for a pair of Adidas pants online ([protected]) but I accidentally ordered the wrong size. This was on Black Friday so they were on sale. I paid $37.99+ tax for them. After Black Friday they went back to full price. I called customer service and was told that because I made the error in the order they could not exchange them at $37.99 and would have to pay full price for the item if I wanted to order the correct size. Customer service manager Mow #04CS, straight out told me it was my fault and she could not do anything thing about it because it was totally my error. Since when do companies blame the customer? This was the company policy and she could not send me the correct size for the sale price. I could exchange them in the store and get the sale price - however, according to their website, this size is not available in the store, only on line. Isn't that Kohl's fault?

I have been a loyal customer for years and this is the customer service they offer?

Desired outcome: Exchange my order for a Medium and call it good. Oh, a small apology for customer blaming might go a long way!

Kohl's Black & Decker 12 cup coffee maker

I went online 1 hour after the sale began and attempted to order several items. Most important one was the Black & Decker 12 cup programable coffee maker on sale for $29.99. I was rather disappointed when I went to order it and it came up cannot be shipped. Okay I checked all the stores near me and none had it in stock. Why is it not in stock when you know ahead of time it is in the sale ad? There were a few other items I went to order and same issue was present. Now I can understand better why Kohls is not doing well!

Kohl's Unapplied payment

On 11/4/2022 we paid a kohls bill for $215.49. We used a bill pay service. We put wrong account number ( [protected]) The account number we used is from an account not been used for over 5 years. It should have gone to account [protected]. We have tried calling customer service. No one knows how to find unapplied payment. We have a ticket open but have been told it could take weeks to look into problem. This is unacceptable. We faxed proof it came out of our account and the account number ( although bad account number ) to help in the process ( fax [protected])We need to find where the payment went and return money to us or apply to our open account.

Kohl's Ordering from kohl's website

Was ordering early access Black Friday deals online. Spent almost an hour accumulating items in my cart, so my cart was active. I knew the sale ended at 1am, so at approximately 12:43 started the process to pay. Unfortunately because of my job I usually end up ordering online late at night. Website kept toggling as I kept trying to get into Paypall. Back and forth back and forth. Bottom line is finally everything seemed to be working when I went from Paypall back into my cart. Thank God I looked at the total before hitting "process order" because all of the prices went up! Those prices should have been locked in as I was in the process of paying and my cart was active. If it had been idle etc I could totally understand. I ended up deleting the whole thing. Total waste of time. I attempted to send an email to Kohl's but they don't do that. So I opted to chat with an associate online, and everything I typed they kept responding "sorry I didn't get that, can you rephrase the question?" So obviously I wasn't really chatting with an associate but some automated nonsense. SO disappointed.

Kohl's Direct interaction with manager Dan

On September 3, 2022 I purchased $493.80 worth of items from Kohls Annapolis. On that same evening I brought in a bag from Kohls with a shirt purchase from Kohl’s that had the alarm tag attached. I gave the bag to the cashier and she wanted to remove the tag after she finished Ringing out my purchases. The cashier gave me one bag. She then gave me the bag with my T-shirt with the tag removed. The cashier never gave me the third bag with five items: T-shirt, hat, blanket, pants, and belt. I left the store not realizing that I did not have my third bag. I return to the store later that evening. I alerted the manager Pam and she stated she needed to call for assistance because she wasn’t sure how to proceed. Pam said that she had to report it to loss and prevention. For the past six days I’ve been in touch with Dan. He was also a manager at the store (Pam’s boss). Dan stated that he was waiting for Ariel to return his email and that he would return my items or give me a complete refund for those items again it’s been six days almost a week and I have not received the items or a refund my preference is to have the items, Dan stated today that I would be able to get my refund or the items. However, he left the store without giving instructions as promised I was told the video clip shows that two bags were put into the cart. Two bags were removed from the cart and two bags were put into the car That proves my case since I had three bags one of which I brought into the store to have the alarm tag removed, I have called customer service and they told me to go into the store again and give them one more chance because they are supposed to help me in fact, customer service said “they have to help you“ I just got off the phone with Pam at 6:45 PM and she said that she will leave another message for Dan. I also learned that Dan is off tomorrow. That means it will be a full week since September 3, 2022, and I can’t seem to get my money or items back from Kohls, when I bought the shirt that I return to have the alarm removed, I purchased almost $300 that day I am a loyal and long time customer of Kohls and I hope to have some assistance regarding this matter where I spent $500 and did not receive all my items as a bag was left at the cashier’s desk. Please help restore my faith in Kohls and insist in this matter. I don’t believe it should take a week or longer to get a refund or get your items that you purchased again I am a loyal customer of Kohls and I don’t think that you’re lo you longtime and loyal customers should be treated in this matter.

Desired outcome: The outcome is still pending. Damn said he would call me back tonight or leave instructions. He did neither one I was told Dan is off tomorrow. It’s a week and I have not been able to get my items or a refunded as promised from Dan.

Kohl's Items never delivered but we paid for in full

I sent the below email to as many executive administration personnel as I could match with their email address. But unfortunately, I never received even an acknowledgment of the concerned email I sent them as a credit card holder and consumer for their business over the past 15 years. I also wrote to the BBB, but they have not responded, nor has a resolution been offered to us thus far.

Good afternoon and I hope you are doing well. I wrote to you previously in October of 2021. My name is Kim Fontenot, and I’ve been a Kohl's customer for over 15 years. Your stores are conveniently located to us, and your online purchasing system is user-friendly for credit card holders.

However, you have serious issues with your deliveries. As you can see from the multiple Kohl’s issues in the past six months, I think it’s time for us to end our relationship with Kohls as well as make sure we let as many people know as possible all that we’ve been through with your poorly run company.

Please note in the first issue below that my son and daughter-in-law’s anniversary was October 17th. I purchased a small box of Godiva chocolate for them to nibble on as they flew out the following weekend. Guess WHAT? YUP – the delivery has YET to happen. When I queried Kohl’s, I was told I could NOT cancel the order as it was in something you call ‘the fulfillment process.’

Based on this fraudulent business practice, I filed a BBB report, and I am still waiting for the delivery, a refund, and any answer to my BBB report (please see below). Guess what? YUP – I have had no one respond, deliver or refund my money.

Now let’s move on to an order for my grandson. I NEVER received or got the refund for the below order, even though the item was never shipped. In this case, I was told that the ‘review’ I left couldn’t be published because it didn’t meet Kohl’s guidelines.

That’s quite a scam you have going on. First, customers are allowed to purchase an item, and then the item never arrives; finally, when the customer complains, you write an email and say, ‘sorry……. Your review is being rejected for some arbitrary reason you make up as you go along.’

NEVER RECEIVED AND NEVER REFUNDED

Since this order dates back to April 2022, and I’m still waiting for it and never got refunded for it, I’d say it’s a pretty good case of fraud.

You will see below that for the Godiva fraudulent charge because Kohls does not have the product, nor can Kohls deliver an imaginary product they sell online. Therefore, I've moved forward to the BBB for the Godiva Chocolate, which apparently Kohl's sells, charges for, and accepts delivery options by customers yet never provide to the customer. Please see the below BBB response to my complaint.

Kohl's Credit payments

On 10/25 I checked my bank statements for Kohls and realized my auto pay that has been set up since 2016 did not go through for the last 2 pay periods. I checked my account and there was no option to locate or sign up for auto pay through the website. I also checked my email for any notification of my auto pay being canceled and I was unable to find any. I called customer service and they told me that auto pay was automatically cancelled if you have $0 in your account, however, I have shopped at Kohls multiple times since 2016 and haven't had an autopay issue even when going for months without shopping at Kohls ( I am signed up to pay the full account balance on pay date). This is not present when you sign up for auto pay and upon request they could not generate the legal documentation to support this. They were willing to waive the late fees, but the credit bureau has not been notified to remove any mistakes Kohls has made.

Desired outcome: I would like my credit score to be updated if this is Kohl's fault.

Kohl's Kohl's management

The management team at Kohl's (16301 E Broadway Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99037) is unfit to manage anything. They DO NOT listen to their employees, DO takes sides/play favorites and must be fired immediately. I will be suing the entire company if any of the current management/associates continue to work there, for employee defamation and firing for absolutely NO REASON. Their HR department sucks, just as much as their employees.

Kohl's Billing/Fraud Department

I have been dealing with the Fraud Department since May/June of 2022 for a fradulent charge on my Kohls credit card. It was only around $51 but the charge is not mine. I also noted that my credit card was lost/stolen and they have sent me 3 cards since then. Also, my online account was locked shortly after this indicating that someone tried to access it. Every time I contact them they file a new fraud complaint, then wait the 60 days and send me a letter stating that "the charges are not fradulent base on your prior account history and activity." Now I find this interesting as Kohls sells the same brands of items. I have gone back and forth with the fraud department and spoke to managers but still get the same response. The police will not file a police report for this small amount. I have spoken to the Kohls manager who even agrees that this happens very frequently. I just want the charges removed as the last time I used my kohls credit card was Nov 2021. I always make larger purchases so if they were truly looking at my history that would be notable. I am just over the mistreatment I have received and I know that nothing "gets investigated" because it is the same routine. I have filed fraudulent services 5 times with no assistance even from a supposed manager. Please help and remove the charges.

Kohl's Customer Service

Friday 7/15 I went to kohls 50 mins from my home in a place i am unfamiliar to do some school shopping for my daughter because that area has tons of stores and right away I’m being followed and that continues throughout the entire time I’m shopping. As I’m in the dressing room I hear over the speaker that the store is closing in 15 mins I begin to prepare to checkout and realize I cannot find my bank card so i begin retracing my steps and there is this employee who is also a manager following me yet again she was EVERYWHERE I went so I assume she thinks I’m doing the five finger discount so I show her the inside of my purse and the only thing in it is my phone before I go outside to check my car and somehow my phone fell out right after showing her the inside of my purse (I was rushing because it was closing time) I get out to my car can’t find my card and realize my phone is now missing too so I come back in and the kohls shopping bag I had along with the clothes I was going to purchase were missing.. & yep MY PHONE! I begin crying at that point and this manager said “no phone was reported being found” (it’s been a whole two mins since her and I seen my phone in my bag before it fell out) I begin running around frantically looking for my phone I get on the floor to make sure it’s not under anything and this manager keeps telling me to leave as I’m bawling telling her I have no way home I can’t get home without my gps I don’t know my way at all she kept telling me to leave and threatening the cops (there’s still other customers inside at this point) I again am still bawling telling her I’m scared I can’t get home without my phone) she didn’t offer to let me use a phone or to help me NOTHING.

SHE. TOOK. MY. PHONE. My phone didn’t grow legs and run off to Jupiter I was in the same area before exiting the door which was by the door in the first place. She was inside for a whole 30 mins at least after closing time and left and walked by me like I was a piece of garbage. I had to ask a stranger to use her phone to call the only number I know by heart and by the grace of god my boyfriend picked up the phone and arranged someone to pick me up, I wasn’t able to get my phone and or car until 2 days later.

I get an email(after complaining since the incident) from the senior Vice President and we arranged a phone call and this man does not think the manager should be fired he didn’t share the same feelings as I did and offered me a gift card, I declined because what she did to me is not slap on the wrist worthy it is being fired worthy and criminally charged worthy at the very least.

Why this woman targeted me idk why this woman took my phone and didn’t care that I couldn’t get home without it idk why this woman wanted to hurt me idk I may never know but one thing I do know is I will not let this go easily at all under any circumstance. I fight and I don’t give up and no one deserves to be treated like that my heart is broke truly it is. & add having autism to the mix it was 10x more intense and traumatic for me.

Fast forward to 10/3/2022 and I call into that same kohls location where the incident from 7/15 occurred because I truly need to understand why all of that took place and why kohls literally allowed it and to this day does not care at all and I got a manager whom was there on the night of 7/15 so keep in mind I am only a customer not an employee. So this girl said that I filled a kohls shopping cart full of merchandise and took it out to my car and dumped it in and was crying to her that I did not want to go to jail.. at this point my jaw is on the floor and my bf who is sitting next to me had his on the floor too! This mean lying sociopath said she followed me and had everything on camera. Obviously if it were true I would have been charged and arrested but the fact that she accused me of that and was lying through her teeth is truly mind blowing to say the least and yet again KOHLS DOES NOT CARE!

I can honestly say Kohls is bottom of the totem pole when it comes to customer care. Sickening.

Also Kohls corporate legal member has lied so many times about the events that took place on 7/15 and it’s sickening that I as a customer am being treated like literal garbage when I AM THE VICTIM HERE!

Kohl's Don’t work here

I recently quit my position at the Kohls in Hilliard, OH. This place is a horrible. Management micromanages every little thing. Everyone is unhappy and quitting or calling off left and right.

The manager didn’t even call me for my scheduled interview. I had to call in and request it. After I had the phone interview I was hired. Thought it was strange she’d hire a Lead support person based on a phone call. From this frequent interview mishap nobody for front of house is being hired. This means extra work for employees who are already burnt out.

I wasn’t trained for my position until being there a month. I was trained on truck and customer service before learning how to be the athletic ambassador. The truck supervisors are ignorant and very unkind. When I didn’t understand something I was asked “Is it really that hard?” Every time I tried to learn more about the position I was hired for I was put on the back burner. Of course they wanted me to come in on my days off and help with other tasks not related to my position. Management was pretty good at manipulating employees into this. The main manager is the problem at this store. She is not friendly to employees or coworkers. She barks orders at everyone without an actual plan to follow through.

I wouldn’t work here. It’s a toxic work environment

Omg your post is so helpful my experience was at the same kohls. The manager from 7/15 had brown shaved hair and she was AWFUL!

Oh I’m so sorry had to endure that! Disgusting [censored] behavior on their end. This is my experience How sad is it that I went to Kohl's - Hilliard Rome Rd. to shop for my kids and shop at the other stores nearby and I was followed by a manager the entire time and when it came time to leave I couldn’t find my card I again am still being followed so I show her the contents of my bag which is absolutely nothing other than my phone which fell out right before I went to my car to find my card and I came back in and my phone was missing so was the kohls shopping bag I had and the clothes i intended to purchase and she pretends she didn’t know where it went but it didn’t just grow feet and walk off so I told her I couldn’t get home without it as I’m not from that area I drove an hour to get there using my gps I had zero idea how to get home without it I am crying at this point looking frantically I even got on the ground to make sure it wasn’t on the floor I was in one area before it fell out right by the door before I went to my car to check for my card. This manager had my phone the entire time and offered zero help no phone to use to call for someone to come get me NOTHING and made me leave because it was closing time. She wouldn’t offer help looking for something she had of course SHE KNEW I HAD NO WAY HOME WITHOUT IT SHE DIDNT CARE! I informed her I’m autistic (she already knew) she didn’t care she enjoyed victimizing me like a high school bully. I had to ask a stranger to use their phone. I had to leave my car these for 2 days before I was able to get a ride back to get it and my phone. Kohls lied about where my phone was located by saying multiple places in which we’re not possible for my phone to be and the fact the couldn’t keep their story straight and the camera footage proves she took my phone! I as so scared I was devastated and I am traumatized. Kohls has treated me like a piece of garbage since and the manager has not been punished what so ever not at all! Kohl's sees nothing wrong with anything she did to me and THAT is a huge problem. Kohls corporate legal member has lied so many times about the events that took place on 7/15 and it’s sickening that I as a customer am being treated like literal garbage when I AM THE VICTIM HERE! then called in the other day and a manager that was there the day of 7/15 proceeded to lie and say I stole a cart full and dumped it into my car! I stg I am still in shock. I didn’t even use a cart that day nor did I steal anything I’m appalled and kohls don’t care at all

Kohl's Return refund

I returned one item of the last purchase I made. My total purchase was $64.84. I used the $10.00 birthday cash Kohl's gave me and applied to the purchase. The item I returned was $18.00 when the cashier issued the credit it was adjusted by $2.51. I told the cashier that the credit amount was wrong that the item cost $18.00. She responded that I had used Kohl's cash on the purchase. I told her I didn't have any Kohl's cash when I made the purchase it was the $10.00 birthday cash Kohl's had given me. I spent the $10.00 plus more. I didn't know it was an adjustable gift. The cashier keep insisting the credit amount was correct shrugging her shoulders without any understanding or comprehension of what was happening she may as well have been a robot that was programed to on do one function. I am not going to go broke on the loss of $2.51 maybe Kohl's can put it toward a training program to educate their employee's there is a difference in Kohl's Cash and Birthday Gift. I suppose now the Birthday Gift money need an exception add - It's $10.00 only if you don't bring any of the your purchase.

Kohl's merchandise that was cancel by kohls

I order this items on sep 24, 2022 order numbers [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected],[protected], [protected]

the order was cancel today september 28, 2022, the email says that the items are sold out, but you still have that merchandise in stock in a higher price, i spoke with an associate with the name of vincent and then with a supervisor oscar ID number OQ1A, they said that there was an error on the price by your store kohls, in california if you advertise or if the item was confirm on your end unfortunatelly the store has to honored it, so i will lije those 6 items to be ship to me asp, the other option is to do an small claim were you will need to paid for the original price that you currently have so i can buy the same item in another location wich is 1600 soly the order..

Kohl's Ninja Foodi XL Pro 7-in-1 Grill & Griddle

On 9/26/22 I went to Khol.com. The page offered the Ninja Foodi XL Pro 7-in-1 Grill & Griddle on sale for $152.99 original price $379.99. When I put it in my cart the price is $297.49 with coupons?

I called twice to talk to your customer service people. They both informed me they didn't see it for $152.99. I don't understand why they didn't see it because when I shut down the site for Khol.com, then reopened the site it brought it up again for $152.99.

With them not seeing it they couldn't honor the price. My huge issues are this is false advertisement?

Below shows I was on Kohl.com and it was offered to me for $152.99. Below is a picture where it shows it.

Kohl's eGift cards keep getting cancelled

Whenever I order an eGift card from Kohls, it gets cancelled and none of the customer service reps can fix it. In the past 2 weeks, I've called customer service over 10 times and wasted hours on hold "waiting for a supervisor" which doesn't happen most of the time. I can order products online successfully, but cannot order a gift card (sent by mail or email). I tried 6 times and all were cancelled. The system got some of my info mixed up I'm assuming. My phone number doesn't match my email. The last reps said she found the problem and fixed it. NOPE! What am I supposed to do now? There's no where else to go for help. They conveniently don't leave an email address for corporate on their company site - wonder why? I've been a Kohls customer for over 15 years and never had a problem. Do I have to cancel my account now? HELLLLPPPP!

Desired outcome: To successfully order an eGift card online without it being cancelled.

Kohl's Fraudulent Order that was never cancelled by the Fraud Dept. Extremely poor customer service & fraud reps that are not properly trained/or understand

A fraudulent order was placed on 09/05/22 using my Kohls account number, my name, address, and credit card for $687.75 of merchandise. I did not place this order; my credit card was in my wallet at the time. I did not realize the order had been placed until the following day when checking my email. I spoke to Manuel #13UW at 10:25 am. Unfortunately Manuel had a deep Central American accent and it was difficult to understand him at times and he did not understand what I repeatedly asked him. He transferred me to Catherine in the Fraud Department also in Central America. She apologized and submitted an incident # [protected] and assured me she had cancelled order # [protected]. Catherine did not cancel the fraudulent order. UPS attempted to deliver one of the shipments, but I had a letter on my front door refusing the shipment due to fraudulent activity, and to send the shipment back to Kohl's. I than received a knock on my door from Fedex this time with another partial shipment from the fraudulent order. I refused the order once again and requested for the shipment to be returned to Kohls. Only $144.25 of the $687.75 has been refunded to my card. I need the remainder of what was fraudulently charged to my credit card to be refunded please.

Desired outcome: I need $543.50 the remainder of what was fraudulently charged to my credit card refunded back to my credit card account.
