lost credit card replacement (2nd request)
On September 25, 2016, I requested a new credit card to replace the one which was lost. I was told it would be 2 to 4 weeks before I would receive it. On Nov. 3, 2016, I called back to #[protected] and spoke to a lady (did not get her name) and told her I still had not received my card. She appeared to me to be very unconcerned and said it had not been 4 weeks. I corrected her and she laughingly agreed. She said she would send out another card and I should receive it in 4 weeks. I told her this is not acceptable as I always do my early Christmas shopping and asked to speak to a supervisor. No supervisor ever came on the line, so I hung up.
Called back and spoke with Carol and told her I wanted to close my account. She told me I did not need a card to make purchases but I informed her my city does not have a Kohl's and I do online shopping (unless I am traveling). Dear Kohl's, I think 9 weeks is to get a replacement credit card is unacceptable. The first representative would not tell me when the replacement card was mailed. You have lost a loyal customer. Goodbye Kohl's!
yonkers ny lp stopped and embarrassed me for no reason or evidence of me doing anything wrong
Hello, I was recently at the Kohl's store in Yonkers NY with my wife so she could return items we bought for our sons at the beginning of the school year. My wife had her cancer treatments right before we went to Kohl's that day, and as the lines are normally longer then 20 people at any given time my wife went and found the items she wanted in place of the ones she was returning. Well being the normal husband I went to PetCo right next door for a little bit before going into Kohl's because I personally hate the store with every fiber of my being, from the rude way associates handle customers to the way the cashiers cannot ring 3 items in a timely manner it is very frustrating, ohh yeah the products they sell (with exception of clothing) is absolute garbage. But on the day in question I walked in glanced around for my wife for a minute and when I didn't see her I went over to look at their electronics, after being disappointed for the zillionth time about their products and prices I found my wife on her way to the returns counter, so I decided to use the bathroom facilities while she was there. When I came out she had already finished at returns/customer service and she told me she was going to do a little more shopping, so once again in my manly fashion of hating shopping in this store I grabbed the Kohl's bag from her shopping cart and headed to the car to wait for her next to the door because after chemo and radiation treatment get energy levels are normally wiped out. Well I did not know that while my wife was at the returns counter the cashier would not make the exchange for the new clothes because they were a few dollars over the original sale, so my wife while putting the items into the cart she was using (the bag was on the bottom of the cart when she did this and didn't realize the cloths went into the bag) and when I grabbed it and left without her knowing I had accidentally walked out if the store with those items. Well as I was walking to the car I was stopped by someone (no identification verbal or otherwise to tell me who this guy was, the guy didn't even have a second person with them as SOP for an LP associate to make a stop) who asked me to take out the items I stole from the store. Well as any normal person would do I looked at him like he was a nutcase and told him as much also. He then proceeded to make accusations at me about all sorts of things he had no idea he was talking about, claiming I walked in with my wife (as stated I went to PetCo before going into Kohl's, stated I was at the return counter with my wife (ummm no I was in the bathroom taking a Pee), I was there when she selected the clothing we were stealing (umm once again we were not stealing anything and once again I was not with her the entire time with exception to walking out of the restroom and grabbed the bag without her knowledge to go get the car). Once I explained all of this to the young man he still pushed that me and my wife was in some sort of scheme to steal a pair of kids shorts ($15.00 at most) a kids shirt ($5 maybe), and a pair of yoga pants ($20 tops), so $40 at most and I also said we should go in and speak to my wife so we can get to the bottom of this because I did not understand what in hell was going on, that I was sure it was a mistake that can be rectified. Well my wife was coming out of the store at this time looking for me because she noticed while at the register that the items in question were not in the cart. Well low and behold they would not accept it was a mistake, I wanted and needed those clothes for my son and me and my wife both told them we wanted to pay for the items and it was lack of communication between me and my wife that lead to all this confusion, our intentions were not to steal from Kohl's, we were just trying to make a return and pick up a few items while there. Now other LP associates were involved and none would even give us the time to explain, they seep rated me and my wife and scared the death out of her saying they were going to put her in jail if she didn't go along with what they said and that our stories didn't matter because they had video of her taking the clothes off of the hangers (oh no! That must be a crime these days!). Then after all of this they made her sign papers saying she was not allowed in the store again and that she would be mailed a fine for the merchandise she took. It is absolutely shameful that Kohl's would treat their customers in this fashion. We did no wrong here with exception to an honest mistake and feel the LP ASSociates manipulated their own story to better their personal stats. So to anyone that shops here I would say stay very far away from now on because they will make up stories and probably rip you off to no end if they would do this to an honest customer who found they had made a mistake. Be careful because they will also make themselves look better in any way and then laugh behind your back while walking out the door. To insinuate that an honest hard working person would commit something like this is disgusting and I hope those involved find themselves without a job so they cannot do this to anyone else who makes a mistake. Word to the wise talk to your better half and make sure you don't take something out of the store by mistake or they will make you feel way more then embarrassed in front if everyone present.
diadora soccer bag with free ball as a gift
I purchased on line a Diadora Squadra Soccerbag that was offering a free gift with the purchase (a free soccer ball) to be included with order. It specifically asked what size and color in the drop down. When I got my order I did not receive the free soccer ball. It is not listed in the packing slip either. I called the order accuracy number at [protected] and spoke with their representative who told me it is not offered on the website and can't help me. I told him that I was not making it up and asked to speak with a supervisor. After holding for about 10 minutes or longer I was connected with someone. The individual told me the same thing. While I was on hold I check the website and the bag is no longer on sale nor are they offering the free ball. The supervisor/manager said he doesn't know the promotion because it isn't listed on the site. I requested that the issue be resolved today, which he could not do. He told me I can order a ball and pay by credit card and then he would escalate the issue for consideration for crediting the ball purchase. I told him that I am not going to pay for something that was clearly advertised on their site. I ended call and my issue was not resolved. I'm very unhappy with their first call resolution and obviously they don't care about keeping their customer happy!
wasn't able to order
Purchased some clothing from www.kohls.com for me and my daughter. They cancelled my order with no reason and wasn't able to explain anything.
Then I placed my order again and later received a message stating that my order was cancelled! I thought that maybe some items were not in stock and because of that they were not able to process my order.
I called customer service and asked what was going on. They said that all items were in stock and that there was another reason. I asked what exactly was the reason and the said they'll contact me back soon and explain everything. No one called or emailed back!
Well, whatever. Ordered from another company.
refund policy
Months ago I returned something that I had purchased on my charge. Kohl' s would not give me my money back but rather put a credit on my account which had been paid in full. I was in the process of moving and not shopping.
I finally received a check at my new address 5 states away. I took the $15.81 check to the store with me to chop an the manager said he was unable to use it against my purchase! Why? I had my card and plenty of ID which he did not want just said it had to be deposited. In this day of electronic money etc this is a triple inconvenience to me. I was not able to mobile bank the deposit because of the water marks. So I had to snail mail it to my bank .
All this for $15.81. My no hassle refund turned into a big pain in the neck not to mention my time spent and gas to take it back in the first place. I think I will try JC Penny.
I think they should change their policy on CC refunds if an account is paid off they should give you back your money.
return
I have tried to get my return credited to me for 14 days and now they are asking me to wait another 7 days. Someone keeps entering the wrong information is what kohl's is saying. Has anyone thought about a class action lawsuit against them? I'mam so ready.
don't shop at kohl's. don't encourage the vultures.
Worked in loss prevention. Over 4 years of a perfect record. Even won a bunch of awards for my store preventing the most losses in the district over the course of that time.
A new District Manager was hired. He immediately began targeting myself and another in my position, can only assume to make room to hire some friends of his. At any rate, after going through who-knows-how-many years of tapes, he found a couple instances where I accidentally wrote in the wrong start time for my shift. We're talking minutes over the course of years. Clearly an accident to anyone watching. I go in, someone is stealing something, I have to deal with it immediately, write in my time later.
It added up to ~$5 over the course of my employment; and never mind there were times when I wrote in the wrong time in Kohl's favor, because of course it's against policy to admit they called you in to work early, so that's on me if I did.
At any rate, he won. Got me fired for "time theft". So that $5 bucks was I guess avenged? It only took however many hours this guy stared at tapes.
That apparently wasn't enough, because they got their lawyers to deny my unemployment on the basis of misconduct. Who knows how many thousands of dollars that cost them, in lawyer time.
Not sure what to do. Have kids to feed. Hope his friends like their new job I guess.
I suggest to anyone with kids and who cares about anyone, don't shop at Kohl's, don't encourage these vultures.
If you're talking about John Trumble, he did the same crap when he worked at Tilly's. The guy is useless. Loses companies more than he makes them by firing great people and bringing in new ones who never perform as well. I have no doubt if you were a top performer you were fired. The guy's a parasite.
billing
I signed on Kohl's website to pay my bill. I seen this thing for a free gift and all I had to pay was shipping. So I picked out a watch and paid the shipping. I didn't see anything about if I didn't return it in 2 weeks that you would charge my account $95. Now according to my bank who researched this for me, I apparently signed up for this happen once a month. I don't think so. I'm not rich, I can't afford to drop a $100 every month on useless jewelry. I'm willing to return the watch but I need the MRA number? I also want my money back? I can't afford the $95 you took out.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Tammy Heindel

It is not Khol's fault you clicked on an advertisement and failed to read the fine print of an offer that they have nothing to do with.
credit department/customer service
I was a few days late and you charged me
$16.00 late fee. The next month I did not
purchase anything and was two days late and
you charged me $35.00 for not paying your
$16.00 late fee. I now owe you $51.00 for
purchasing nothing, even tho my balance is
zero. I called customer service and you would
not remove the late charges. I'm 71 and I
think you are unethical and prey on seniors.
I would suggest to all people to shop
somewhere else! I'm cutting up my card!

worst customer service
I made an order for multiple items in early December. Several weeks later I decided to contact their customer service, because I never received my order. Their rep told me that the items were damaged during shipment and were being returned to the warehouse. He apologized and was very polite. He assured me that I'll receive my items in 7 business days. Unfortunately, that never happened. Then I got a message from them stating that my order was cancelled and they'll refund my money. I never got my money back. I had to make several additional phone calls and in the end was issued a store credit. I'm so disappointed. I'll never order anything from this website again!
charged for something never ordered on my kohls card
Someone charged a $512.50 purchase on my Kohl's account. I never bought the item. They ordered it on line and used a charge number that was changed by them because we were told the card was an old one. It was replaced with new cards and new numbers and they let the old number be used. My email was changed and they ordered it from somewhere I never heard of and sent it to a city 200 miles from my house. They even used a 15% off coupon and charged me $7.50 for delivery. I caught it by accident checking my wife's account to pay her bill on line. I went into my account also and saw this charge. I never bought anything but I just looked that I had a zero balance. I got a shock and called my wife to the computer screen. I quickly called the number on my card and the nightmare started again. My wife and I have separate accounts because they were running a special if you opened an account you got an extra discount. We were buying several things that day 4 years ago so we did that. We bought dishes then and wanted matching service pieces that they only had on line. We ordered 2 things and they billed us for both and only sent one. I called to find out where the other piece was and they told me it was in the same box which it would not have fit. I said if you broke both items in half they would be the only you could use that same box. They said they would have to check their warehouse inventory and the cameras to see if one of their employees was dishonest. I wanted it and asked for a supervisor. Who then apologized and completed my order. My wife goes to the store and half the time they are out of things they advertise. They sent coupons and discounts which I throw half away. They charge more for an item than most other stores which have nicer cleaner stores. Now back to the overcharge I had to call 6 different numbers and the police. I spoke to 4 or 5 operators plus three other people I was transferred to in the Philippines that were hard to understand. I called back and a supervisor said you sure you didn't order it or forgot to use it or take it out of the box. They also claimed people do this to get Kohl's cash. I said shove your Kohl's cash and fire the employees that work for you that fill these orders and charge the honest people never seeing anything that looks suspicious. They finally took this off and sent me 2 letters saying I didn't have to pay this bill and I wouldn't be charged any interest, for what their mistake? Today I got a new card with the last digit changed. I am holding the one they sent 2 months ago and this one and I am going to shred both plus the 15% off coupon. I went on line and had input the new card to check my balance or be locked out. I have a zero balance now. The item still shows on my account but was zeroed out. I refuse to call the 800 number to activate the card but I will shred them. They need to hire people with a brain and not just fill orders and not have safe guards. They also claimed I never closed the order window from 2013 and that's how they got my info. What? I just went on line to take off my account and any banking info. I will make my wife's account off after I pay her $33.00 bill. She can shop elsewhere and so will I. I HATE KOHL'S!
online order and return
I placed an order approximately 3 months ago from Kohls.com for 4 items (order # [protected]). I was shipped half of the order and then the next day, I received the entire order. So 2 of the items were sent twice in error and I was billed for all 6 items. I called Kohl's customer service and made arrangements for the 2 duplicate items to be picked up. The items were picked up and returned to Kohls via UPS (Tracking #1276A2692234455), with a credit due of $83.13. I continue to get billed for the amount that should have been credited, and after 3 separate phone calls and hours of wasted time, I have yet to receive this credit. Instead I have incurred 2 late fees. During each phone call, I was assured that the amount would be credited. I am beyond frustrated.
bullying by other females and no response from corporate
I went to work as a seasonal worker with plans to stay on with the company regardless of how many hours I was going to get. Everything went pretty good in the beginning until my supervisor complimented me a few times on my work. Shortly afterwards, a few of the women in there became very nasty to me. I was threatened and told " Don't think you are just going to come in here and be a supervisor because I have been here for 8 years" in a very ugly tone. She refused to allow me to work in her department and belittled me in front of another female supervisor saying "she doesn't know what she is doing!" and all I was doing was putting things back where they belong. The woman in the department next to her also refuse to let me work with her. A female supervisor in the front of the store pulled me up to the front of the store to direct customers on were to go for exchanges and purchases but stood there with me doing it as well. I was greeting customers and if I missed one of them she yelled and said "you have to catch these people' you have to catch them!" A few minutes later another associate walked up that she knew and then she told me "you can just go back, I want her up her anyway." I go by my middle name but in the beginning my first name was on my name tag. I had it changed but one of the other women refused to call me by the name I go by and went out of her way to continue to call me by my first name. She acknowledge that she realized the name I go by but said "hell I don't know what to call you" and proceeded to say the name every single time she approached me. This same woman belittled and made fun of my work after I had straitened up a large shelf that had been a mess for 2 or 3 weeks. There was No store manager for most of the time I was there and these women were running the show. I tried to talk to one of them on my last day but she said "she didn't have time and that she had to go". She put me in front of the store as a line monitor with angry customers that had also been screamed at by the person in front of the store and told me that is what I was scheduled to do when that is Not what I was scheduled to do because I was hired in for Freight but these women refused to let me do my job because they didn't want me working with them even though they had a lot of work to do. I stood there for 4 hours being yelled at by cashiers and dealing with the angry customers But I managed to keep the customers calm and even made some of them laugh. I was recovering from Bronchitis ans was too weak to keep standing there with no break and there was no management or anyone to relieve me. The company has not responded to my complaint and this is the 9th day now. Is it ok to bully someone out of their job ?
If this went down how you say it did, then this was really wrong.
I was removed from their schedule because my mom was dying...
I got a phone call that my mom was hospitalized and in serious condition, so I called Kohls's and notified them that I had to fly from FL to NY. The store manager was not in so I spoke to another manager that said she would pass the information on. I got to NY and my mom was in and out of consciousness. We then had a family meeting with the hospital staff about turning off my mom's difribilator because it was shocking her badly and in her condition, and because of her age it was not humane to let her go through that. So the difribilator was turned off. I phoned Kohl's again and asked for the store manager, again she was not there, so I talked to another manager, Tim, and told him the situation, and he said, " you have to talk to the store manager". I assumed he would pass the information on to her. My mom went into a coma a couple of days later. Once again, I phoned Kohls's, and this time I got the store manager, I explained to her my mom's condition and she told me that when I returned, I would have to fill out a new availability form. My mom passed, and we had the service and I returned to Florida. The next day I went to Kohls's and saw the store manager, she was doing the scheduling, I informed her of my mother's passing, and she just grabbed an availability form for me to fill out, on her way out the office door she said, "Oh, by the way, sorry about your mom". I filled out the form, left it on her desk and left. I returned the next day, looked at the schedule and my name wasn't even on there. The schedule was for two weeks. Here's my advice to anyone working for, or thinking of working for Kohls's, be sure none of your family members die on their watch!
service
I went to Kohl's in Gurnee, IL to use Kohl's cash that was going to expire the next day. I went to the cashier with the item I wanted to purchase and gave the cashier the coupon which the remaining balance of $8 was printed. She checked the balance and said "There is nothing in there". I was 100 % sure that I still had $8 left. Then the cashier said "It's deactivated" and waited for me to pay. The only reason I went to the store that day was to use the remaining balance. So I explained the cashier that I used it which means it was activated and the remaining balance is printed on the coupon, then asked"If I go to customer service, would they find out what happened to it?" The cashier said rudely " I don't know". I went ahead the customer service but within 2 seconds, went back to the cashier and asked " May I have your name?" She angrily and loudly YELLED "Sarah!" with extremely angry face. I asked for the store manager as soon as I went to the customer service. The manager showed up immediately and made my kohl's cash usable. He politely apologized and said "It was deactivated though." Though I appreciate that the manager solved the problem quickly, there was no explanation why my kohl's cash was deactivated. And it was the worst attitude of the cashier in my whole life and I am totally turned off. I had been shopping at Kohl's for 6 years and never had any bad experience, but now that I know it is 3rd class store, I will consider cancellation of the Kohl's charge and won't go back.
men's long sleeve casual shirt
FYI: This 100% cotton shirt (RN#73277) made in Srilanka has a very strong sulfur odor. Purchased new at Kohl's in December 2015, I did not notice the odor until wearing it. Washing it a few times and with baking soda has not helped. Very strange.
2 shirts from that same 73277 line smell awful! The more you wash it the worse they smell? HELP!
I bought the exact same shirt at the Kohl's in Topeka, also in December, 2015. I just washed it and put it on for the first time today. I noticed an unpleasant chemical odor and an online search found that others had experienced the same problem. I am returning it to store.
missing item
I am having extreme issues with an order that I placed several weeks ago from Kohls. I placed the order as a business order for my company and spent $557. One item that I ordered was not in the box that was sent. Kohls customer service has been terrible to deal with and they have been rude and placed me on hold and transferred me without telling me. I asked for the missing item to be sent. Kohls tells me that they can only process a refund and recharge for the item. I have explained that the business order was processed with a corporate credit card and that our expense report for the year has been turned in and shows we already paid $119 for the item. I explained that we cannot be charged again and that we just need the item to be sent. I have requested to speak with someone from their corporate office or the office of the president and have been refused. They simply transfer me from call center to call center. This has been the worse retail experience that I have ever had and I simply would just like to receive the item that my business paid for. The item was to be given away as a prize and weeks after ordering we still do not have the item to give away.
badly packing from company
dec 9 and dec 16 2015 got packages and ceramic mug was broken and not even wrapped and just put in plastic bag. then next packed was not even in a box just put in another plastic bag and fedx just thru it on porch and bent the metal star. They were Christmas presents and was very unhappy with there packing so let company no.
disappointed
Well, that was my first experience ordering from this site. I ordered some items two days ago, I put the incorrect zip code and noticed that only after confirming my order. I contacted the customer service within few minutes of making the order. Their agent answered however I was put on hold for about a hour. By the time I finally got on the line I was told that they cannot make any changes. I tried to solve the problem and was sending them messages every day. But every time there was the same answer. They told that cannot change any orders. I asked them our next step is going to be. I was pretty nervous, because I paid money and someone else will get my items. I told that I cannot believe that there is nothing they can do. There must be something! Things like that sometimes happen, and I'm sure that I wasn't the only one who made a mistake. I am very disappointed! In the end I got an email that my items were delivered. So someone else got them and Kohls.com does not care about it at all.
I got a similar reaction when I tried to correct their error in a shipment. Supposedly my order arrived the Friday before Thanksgiving and yet no box from Kohl's was in my lobby. First Customer Service tells me I am mistaken, I must be missing it somewhere so just check harder. Then Customer Service tells me FedEx delivered it to the Post Office, so I should go check with them. I live in Chicago, so which Post Office was it delivered to, since there must be dozens throughout the city? And why? I have a doorman 24/7, so no need to deliver to anyone but the doorman. I paid for delivery not to go wandering around Chicago to visit each and every Post Office. And with the doorman, I know the box was not delivered to my building. They repeat to go to the Post Office and I then have to threaten fraud to them. At that point, it gets kicked to another person, probably a superior, and they tell me if I can not find it, they will refund it. I insist on refund but then I am told that they have to do a check of where things went wrong and only after THEY are satisfied, do I get my refund. Well, I got the bill for this non-shipment and suspected I better pay. That sounds sensible given how long it has taken and your similar treatment for a non-shipment. Now that Christmas is passed, I have time to follow up with them one last time to verify credit or I am suing them for fraud - and that's both a civil and criminal penalty.
ruining my credit report!!!
I moved to FL June 2014, and After changing my Kohls account new address from Rhode Island to Florida, twice, online, and personally going into the Port Charlotte, FL, my bills stopped coming in June 2015. The bills always had my RI address on them. Well, I figured that I was paid up on my bills, no calls from Kohls or notice by post. In the process of purchasing a house with a closing date of 12/18/1015, my l**n officer called to say I my Kohls account was in "collections" and my FICO went down over 100 pts. Well, my account was corrected by Kohls, and notice to the credit bureau...so we thought. To date, the bureaus have no notice to correct my FICO. At this point, I really need to get a comprehensive letter emailed two me (not a generic one), showing what happened with the "address" discrepancy and that my account is good standing. My l**n officer, in turn, will give this information to the three credit companies. This is an urgent, urgent matter. I and my l**n Officer have left messages to the so-called "executive" office of Kohls, which I believe is fake (very bad). If nothing more is done to rectify this situation, legal action will be commence. P.S. My l**n officer and I have spoken to many agents of Kohls...all with different answers for us. Please, please help!
