Closing of account
I have a kohl's credit card. I have it for almost a year but have not used it yet. I found out on my credit report that this account was closed for "inactivity." I was not contacted by Kohl's prior to them closing my card. As a result of the closing of my account my credit rating dropped because of the decrease in my credit limit. When I called customer service I was told they can not reopen my account and I should go to the store and open a new account. If I do that there will then be yet another credit inquiry on my credit report and another drop in my credit rating. I believe Kohl's should contact a customer prior to closing their account due to inactivity. When I spoke to the customer service rep I was told there was "no available supervisor" and they will call me back. I'm still waiting.

On 1/6/23 I order an E-gift card for $100 to be delivered to my daughter for her birthday. She never received the E-gift card. I went through your Ask Us process and have not received any satisfaction. I then spoke to your customer service department and was told the E-gift card would be re-sent with ref#[protected]. The E-gift card still was not received. Again, I contacted your Ask us service and was informed that the order would be cancelled, and I would get a credit on my bill. Still, this was not resolved. Please can i discuss my recent order and the problems that i have encountered
Whilst in Florida over the Christmas period i purchased a star wars tee shirt from your online shopping which was ordered through my girlfriend (order number #[protected] order date 26/12/2022) with a delivery date of Dec 30- Jan 05. Which was within plenty of time for delivery/collection before i left the US to travel home but unfortunately the tee shirt arrived Jan 10 over 15 days later from purchasing and 5 days over the estimated delivery time.
The problem we have now returned back in the UK, as we arrived home on the 7th of January and my tee shirt is now stuck in Florida somewhere, I'm not sure it's been delivered I've contacted the park manager and am waiting for them to get back to me to clarify if it's there. And if it is there, then i have got to try and get the tee shirt resent back to me in the UK, Either way I've majorly lost out as if it's not there then I've not only lost my money and the tee shirt, and if it is there then I've lost out the postage cost of trying to get it reposted back to the UK...
Please can you contact me to advise me of how we can resolve this situation, either can you resend me a tee shirt to my UK home address, or refund me and compensate me for my loss and inconvenience

Not honoring kohls cash and rewards
I shop at the Erie, PA store.
Three times in the past month when I went to the store to use my Kohl cash and/or rewards coupons, I’ve been told there is a zero balance. Once I received by email and 2 others I received by mail in a Kohl mailing. With each one, I was told they weren’t any good. They make you feel like you’re trying to pull a fast one. The one I tried using today I just received earlier in the week.
I said to the cashier. Seriously, this is the third time this has been done to me. The manager was at the next register and didn’t bother to come to see what was wrong. I just left the coupon and walked out.
I will be calling the corporate number to close my account that I’ve had since the store opened in Erie.
I don’t need this aggravation. Don’t offer rewards and Kohl cash when they’re not being honored.
Kohl's cash and discounts
I went to purchase Men's Dickies Perforated Indoor/Outdoor Clog Slippers. The cost was $21.00 (on sale) and the "original" price shown was $42.00.
When using the 20% off coupon, the cost came to $16.80 ($4.20 savings). Then I go to use my "bonus" of $15.00 Kohl's cash and the price should have come to $1.80 (+ taxes). However, the price shown was $4.80 (+ taxes).
I was informed that Kohl's applies the consumer's "bonus" Kohl's cash first, then applies the 20% discount; thus making the consumers have to pay a higher cost for the item.
Kohl's cash is considered a "bonus" to apply to any items after the fact, so this is a scam as the consumers actually lose out on the full "bonus" of Kohl's cash.
How is this legal...
Desired outcome: Kohl's needs to honor the full Kohl's cash "after" any discounts are applied, or get rid of the Kohl's cash altogether...

There are only two places to shop for women's clothing in our town - your store & TJMaxx. Well, only one now. Your clothing is cheap-looking and cheaply made. Quite frankly, I have never seen such a horrible collection of women's clothing in one store. It's a shame; at least I could purchase something when you carried the line 'Chaps', but since you discontinued it, the few items I do buy are men's hoodies (or something drastically reduced that is 'passable'). Wow, what a shame - even Sephora can't save you. Not only is there sub-par merchandise, but the store is messy - clothing thrown on counter/floor.
I used to shop at your store; I don't know what happened. I wish you could make improvements, so that I could, once again, shop there. Can't believe that this store is doing well. At least I've saved some money because of the deterioration of your store. Good luck. Just telling you how not only I, but also all of my friends, feel. Changes need to be made.

So on 12/6/22 i had bought a mens tek hoodie it was to big just wanted to exchange it-but the stores here in idaho are all out. Okay so you can go on line and buy it at $35.00 get one half off no thank-you. Birthdate wrong
I had to make two calls because your customer service would not listen to me. I cannot register my card, essentially it is no good but you sure took my payment. My birthdate is wrong and yet you were able to charge the card and take a payment. I tried to register my card and it does not exist. It took 45 minutes of my time finally for them to tell me my birthdate is wrong. On top of all of this, they won't fix it unless I make a request my mail. I am very angry about this whole thing. If they had listened to me from the beginning this would have been fixed already. No, they had me keep going to the website to register my card even though I kept telling them I had done that at least 10 times. I want you to fix this! I am not sending you a mail request, you can do it by this email. If you can't help me, I am will be sending the card back! They didn't even tell me what the wrong birthdate was! I contacted Customer service and was told that that coupon didn't apply to that brand. She offered and sent a $5.00 "in-convince" Kohl's cash offer.
I have read and understand your exclusion policy, however, this was an e-mail for a sale item not a coupon. The customer representative suggested that this could be a fraudulent e-mail, however, when I clicked on the e-mail it took me to my Kohl's account. I don't believe it was fraudulent, but now I will be suspicious of e-mails sent from Kohl's.
Desired outcome: I would expect the offer that was e-mailed to me be honored by Kohl's .
Charge card
I was looking on my credit report to find out why it had dropped so much. It was Kohl's who reported me for 39 day late non-payment on my Kohl's card. Trouble is I have never recieved any payment notice per email or regular mail. They have also charged me a late fee. How do you expect someone to know when you dont send a notice? I paid it in full...

I purchased christmas gifts online (with plenty of time to arrive) and they are stuck with UPS. I verified this with UPS.. they cant locate the package. But the not so helpfull customer service staff (2 online chats - 2 phone calls) told me i had to wait until the 27th to see if it shows up.. even though i have already done their job for them and confirmed it is lost. I called my local Kohls and a manager told me I am basically out of luck and customer service for online purchases is a joke. I WILL NEVER SHOP in the store or online again. RUINED MY CHRISTMAS!

apparently, this a very common problem my experience has been the same. I too, tracked the packages, text twice, three phone calls, and was call was them telling me I would get a refund (couple hundred dollars) in seven days. Yesterday, my seventh day, I get an email from them stating that my refund request is approved and expect my refund in thirty days. I can't help but think how convenient for them, the feds guideline for consumer protection to dispute charges is sixty days. I also was informed there shipping label software is outdated, so no big surprise that consumer place orders, packages get conveniently undeliverable and return to their warehouse and consumers get ripped off. I found out about the software outdated by an ex employee. Also spoke with my local attorney general about the fraud activities and I am not the first person to be having issues.His recommended is to file a formal with the consumer protection,the federal trade commission and to get others and file a class action lawsuit because I am being ripped off couple hundred but with more people and their loss would show two things higher compansation and fraud practices by kohls. So,I figured the stress isn't worth it and my Christmas is ruined and an anniversary party for a relative that celebrated 57th wedding and I didn't have a gift that I ordered. There is no price to make up for the stress during this time of year, especially when people struggle just to buy gifts once a year. Also, a valuable lesson to not support a store like kohls, they are not trustworthy.
Customer service at kohls
I ordered a robe as a gift for a friend who was in a rehab facility. It was way too big for her. I called Kohls and asked how to go about doing an exchange. I didn't want to have to pay more or pay for shipping. The original order was over $49, so shipping was free. I know they do free shipping to the store. I was told to bring the item in with the original invoice. There was no invoice in the box. I eventually found it ON THE BACK OF THE MAILING LABEL. It lists only the full price of each item. That was $54, but I paid $21.99. So, the person on the phone at our local store told me to bring it in with that ‘receipt’ and that I should first check to ensure it was still available, which I did. Now, mind you, we live in northern Minnesota and I went there on a horribly snowy day. I have a handicap license plate because of my bad back problems. Customer service is in the far back of the store. I trudged through the snow, on slippery floors, got to the back. The man tells me I have to order another one in the correct size from home and then bring it in and they will do a return on both items, then re-sell me the correct one at the discounted price. Not happy, I went back home with my package. Got online again, tried to order again, to be shipped to the store, since I’m going to have to go there anyway to return it. I don't need to be carrying 2 big bags in there. It won’t give me the option of shipping it to the store. I tried to get an answer on a chat, but there was no correct selection and no option to speak to a real person. The best answer I got was that I would have to place my order in a kiosk at the store in order to have it shipped there. The customer service person should have told me that. Three different answers and still nothing accomplished!
Desired outcome: I just want to do a simple even exchange without having to pay shipping. I feel like I’m really getting the runaround here. A straight, honest, correct answer would be really nice!

I ordered 4 items on Kohls.com, spent $450. This purchase awarded me $105 in Kohls cash. I then made a purchase and used $90 of my Kohls cash. They were all the same item that I was hoping to give to several members of my family, including myself. Unfortunately, they did not function as I would have liked so I returned the items to a store. all items were returned. 5 items in total. Kohls only credited my account $353. So now I have a balance on my credit card to pay and have nothing to show for it. All items returned, nothing to show for it and I am in a deficit. How is that fair?

Paid my kohls bill.. They sent me another bill saying I owed the money yet. They said that I had sent the payment but due to my account info being wrong it wasnt paid. On the second notice to pay my bill, I called them to find out what was going on as I had paid it... Thats when they said that it hadnt went through, they dont bother to write about the wrong account info but they sure as hell wrote about the late fee that wasnt warranted. If they had the wrong account info on early payment why didnt they write about the account info? They sure knew how to write in reference to the 15.00 late fee... Im done with kohls... I will never buy from them again!

I just lost $75.00 in Kohls cash for being a day late which is insane. AND the rebate for the toaster I just bought is all screwed up so that's not going to haopen there goes $14.00. And don't get me started on 1 person in the service dept at this time of year when there are 5 people doing online orders at once. I am done shopping here. Nothing but the run around.

Sexual Harassment
Kohl's was very unprofessional when it came to my sexual harassment. I was even pinned up against a wall in the breakroom and felt up. Another time my behind was smacked and grabbed. All on camera.
Then when I reported it, I was scolded and reprimanded as well. Then in the break room he was sitting at a table with people and they all kept laughing while looking at me and writing things on a pizza box. After they left, I grabbed the pizza box out of the trash and it had all kinds of profanities written about me. So I hid it in my locker and showed it to the manager later. Her only form of action was to move me to day shift instead of overnights. They also gave me a $1.00 raise and promoted me to a children's sales supervisor position. He continued to still work there. The managers treated me rudely because of that and other employees resented me because I was promoted unfairly. I eventually left my job at kohls because i was so uncomfortable. I was so young and naive at the time, I didn't know how wrong Kohl's had treated me. I still suffer from trauma of thinking about it, it might even be ptsd because it's been 10 years or so. I feel like Kohl's had abused me more than that guy did because they handled it so poorly and victim shamed me. As I got older and more aware of what kohls had done, I thought of reporting the company but I think the statute of limitations has run out. I see kohls also pretends to be big supporters of NAMI, like they are mental health advocates. That makes me feel sick to my stomach thinking about that. It's such a lie. It feels good to finally speak up and share my story that Kohl's try to brush under the rug. Hopefully my speaking up allows others to speak up for themselves no matter what Kohl's does to silence them.
