I filed a complaint online and over phone as well a week ago. No response. I would like a resolution before pursuing further action. Jeannette Marty
I booked thru booking.com. Called hotel to confirm details. Fridge for meds, people coming etc. Was not told about $20 charge. Once at hotel the front desk prints a different paper with room for 2 and blames error on booking.com. Proceeds to charge me for the older child. Then attempts to charge me for my 12 yr old because he did not have an ID. I dont know many 12 yr olds carrying IDs. I travel with an oxygen concentrator. I am on chemo, very ill and standing at the front desk for approximately 40mins to resolve after a 3hr drive was awful. Room was spacious for my medical machine to move but, had mold. Old cigareette smells coming from vents. We went downstairs and although the new person at the front was nicer he told me to wait till morning to see who checked out. Not good for someone on oxygen with two asthmatic kids. Next day no solution and did not see front desk person. We had tickets and were gone all day. By the time we returned it was nighttime and was checking out early next day. The extra cost thrown at us hindered our trip. The mold, toxins coming out of the vents was hazardous and guest should not be subjected. A trip to create memories became a trip we wanted to end and go home. I've never filed a complaint for any hotel till now. From economy to 5 star my experience has not been so stressful that I felt the need to pursue solution.

We booked 3 rooms for a batchlette party. We had a bus pick us up and drop us off. We arrived back at hotel around 2:45 a.m. went to our rooms. Most people went to bed as soon as we got to our rooms, the suite room where the bride to be was staying there was a few of us in there getting pajamas on, and we were laughing a little, but by no means were we loud. Next thing I no there is a knock at door and it was the police saying we had to pack up our stuff and leave. He also went to the other 2 rooms where everyone was sleeping including my mother and grandmother and made them leave as well. We weren't loud, and if we were someone should have came up and said quiet down, no WARNING NOTHING BUT YOU ALL HAVE TO LEAVE.
I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK, I NEVER EVEN GOT TO USE MY ROOM, BUT THEY CHARGED MY CARD. I AM REALLY UPSET BY THIS, I STAY AT YOUR HOTELS OFTEN BUT NO LONGER WILL. PLEASE MAKE TJIS RIGHT.

I have emailed several times regarding my stay at LaQuinta Inn near Islip/McArthur airport on Long Island, New York from July 25+ July 30. What I don't understand is that NO ONE has tried to make me feel better about spending over $1000 for those 6 nights! I thought I would at least get a phone call offering to refund me part of my bill! Why would a guest be treated so poorly?
It has been almost one month since my stay there and it still makes me feel upset labout my stay at LaQuinta.

We are on our way home from a weekend visit to Aniston, Alabama. We stayed at the LaQuinta there in room 220. The property appeared clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.
As we were checking room before leaving to ensure that we weren't leaving any items behind, we found a small dog bone in our bed, between the comforter and duvet cover. We did not bring any pets with us. As i said, the property appeared clean so I'm sure this was a rare oversight.
We also noticed several places on myself and the girls that appear to be insect bites. Again I believe this to be a rare instance, but wanted you to be aware of out experience in order to prevent a repeat instance. I have known people to overreact and really complain about such things. I'm attaching pictures of our bites. It may even be possible that the last pet staying there left a couple fleas behind.

My husband daughter and I stayed at the hotel on 8/21/18 to 8/24/18 I asked at check in if we could hold the room on the credit and then pay in cash or debit upon checkout they said yes. My husband called and asked again later and they said it's no problem when we went to check out they said they already charged my credit card. When it said on my end a temporary authorization only not a complete payment. Other thing was the towels we had 3 bath towels two hand towels and 3 wash cloths to start I didn't ask for extra hand towel I figured we will make do with two. When the maid cleaned our room the 2nd day she did not restock everything. She took dirty towels left us with 1 wash cloth and 2 hand towels and 3 bath towels. We asked the front desk for 2 more wash cloths and they said come get them and when I went to get them a lady said we will bring them to you. Hours later they did not bring them I walked down the extremely long corridor to see if I could pick it up and they told me he went to wrong room which I don't believe seemed like an excuse. Said he went to room 148 instead of 149. I said okay can I get them now l will wait because I'm tired and ready to go to bed. He said no someone will bring it to you so you don't need to wait this was at 11:00 pm by 11:30pm no one came so I called front desk again person said they can't find anymore to give me he can still look I said no I'm tired and going to bed will have to go to bed with dirty face. Also we ran out of bathroom tissue and facial tissue they did not restock. Was horrible stay I will never come back or recommend this hotel to anyone. If they ask which one person already did I will have to tell them to stay elsewhere. It all could have been resolved but was not that was the main problem. The front desk did not try harder to resolve the issues.

Bennett Murray Stayed there at Baltimore S Glen Burnie on Saturday night August 18, 2018 in Room #335. Phone # is410-636-4300 Got to room and no maid service had been performed and both room phone and tv were out of order. Noticed room table was messy with last occupant's food remains and no fresh soap or wash cloths or hand towels or towels. Walked to front desk and told work order in for phone and tv and i had no maid so had to take things back to room myself. Paid $111.87 as there as conference speaker. Want refunded. Will not stay again. Abraham Esquivel, General Manager, wont return multiple calls. Front desk, Daisha, says he has family emergency etc. Is now the 23rd and have heard nothing! This was the room we stayed in on August 10-12. The first night we had no hot water, then Sunday morning no electricity. I have been dealing with Ericka, who was supposed to contact me today and did not. 73.60 was taken out of my account, and needs to be put back in, along with the other73.60 they said they were putting back in. I have been dealing with this issue going on 3 weeks and I am tired of it. I have better things to be doing!
I have also spoken with Courtney and Brian. All of them have been no help! Next step I will contact the news media with pictures in hand!

I got to the hotel tied after a red eye flight - I went to the front desk in hope that I will get an early check in - The lady at the front desk was rude and she stated that check in is at 3 pm as they have to change all the lock -

I'm so furious with la quinta inns, , I'm a frequent customer with your benefits even and I'm thru with you! You teach your clerks to give patrons a more expensive room even when the inn is only a quarter full I suspect they receive commissions on rooms they sell but on line you advertise rooms much cheaper. I stayed at the la quin tr a inn. 6404 E Broadway Tucson Az 9/1 room 104. Get this, , I checked in at 5am, , was charged FULL price $65.00 to sleep 4 hrs and go. I started I needed the room till about 4pm to get some sleep as we travel AZ at night. The man said no, , so I only consented to the 4 hrs at the time. I get to room to find 2 FULL size beds, , the other la quinta in Pheonix Az gives you queen or king for that price. So at about 10mins till 11am I go up to talk to day shift manager to get a better deal and that girl tried to get me for even MORE money, , saying a room would cost me $76.00 AGAIN to sleep another 4 hours! So I botched her out a little and she dropped price back to $65.00 but STILL, , , I paid $153.68 to use a room 8 hrs! That's a RIP OFF! And you know it! And I WILL make a stink about this and bother your company until I'm acknowledged about this and some sort of compensation is made to me. Period!

My husband and I rented a room at the LaQuinta inns & suits Islip Macarthur airport for 5 nights. The first day we got there we had to change rooms because the toilet was broken. In the new room the refrigerator seal was not tight and would not keep items cold. The spa didn't work and when it was finally fixed the jets still did not work. The room was dirty. It did not look like the rugs or furniture had been cleaned. I planned on using the shuttle to return to the airport but, was told they only had limited shuttle service so I had to pay for another day for my car rental. For the price we paid for this room both my husband and I were very disappointed.

I spoke with Everette, he said room # is 110, with no direction where to go. Get to the hotel, there are two chairs, a garbage can and the night stand all on the bed. I go back and ask for a different room. They send me to 104, it's so humid and smells mildewy, I have allergies to mold and immediately start stuffing up, open the door and turn to try and clear out the smell and then turn on the a.c. And there are black pieces flying out of the a.c. It has been a very unpleasant beginning and I can't even stay here. I'm super disappointed.
regarding our stay on 8/17 thru 8/19
There were a couple of problems on the second day...while waiting for our shuttle ride from the hotel to Mohegan sun I over heard another couple complaining about their toilet and that there was no one on the premises to fix their problem the woman at the desk heard them and said & did nothing. On route to the casino it was pouring rain with strong winds, driver was traveling about 60 to 65 miles per hour, a tractor trailer was traveling at about the same rate of speed ..shuttle drivers name was Emmitt..the trailer proceeded to cross into the lane that we were in the driver of our shuttle did not like it so he began to cus and shout yelling names and so forth, he pulled up next to the trailer rolled down the window flipped him the bird all while traveling at that rate of speed my wife and I were scared as all hell... we could not believe what he was doing. Our first day was fine but our second day and night was filled with disappointment .. with power outages no air conditioning the desk person did not know how to reset the unit. And your driver did not know or care that he was carrying precious cargo.

Hello I stayed at your location in fremont California. The room had a few issues. The floor in the room was wet by the refrigerator. Also there was seen to be blood behind the bathroom doors. I was really disgusted by that. I would of asked for a new room but it was late and my 9 month old was asleep. Please email me or call me as soon as you can. Thank you

My son and myself stayed at the La Quinta Inn and Suites St. Louis Hazelwood and I don't usually do this but our stay was so unpleasant I had to write you. Dates of the stay were August [protected]
The first night our TV wouldn't work I talked with the front desk and they said there wasn't anything they could do untill the next day. Thats unacceptable when your paying to stay and can't watch television, I told her that and she wouldn't give us another room. The next day the 12th we did get the TV fixed but had to use one remote for volume and 1 to turn channels. They told us not to turn the tv off or it wouldnt work again. So we had to keep the tv on the entire stay to include nights.
The room was dirty when we arrived, specifically the bathroom. The back of the toilet had dried urine from the previous stay and wasn't cleaned the entire time we were there. The only thing the maids did were make the beds and replace the towels, no cleaning was done.
The second night I stopped by the front desk to get change for the washer and dryer. The Lady at the desk said they didn't have any change, but the next morning when I asked they had it. I think the lady the night before was just too lazy to open the cash box up.
The worst think I experienced was a conversation, a loud one at that the second morning we were there between the front desk help and the lady taking care of the morning breakfast. They were talking very loudly with guests present about how we all wait until the end of the morning to come out and eat and how much more work is for her to have to keep serving the entire time. She was using profanity towards the guests right in front of us which was uncalled for in a professional environment.
Just by the cleanliness of the entire facility and the unpleasantness of the staff working I thought I should right a letter to your company so you can at least take a look into this motel. We have stayed at La Quinta's many times in the past with great experiences and will in the future, but I would take a look at this property with your name on it and make some changes because they are giving your company a very bad reputation.

The pictures are very deceiving, the pool was very small the rooms smelled funny and the lady that served breakfast was extremely hateful and rude to me my family and other guest around us, both days we were there. Very unacceptable and very unprofessional to talk down to people the way she did, scowling when you asked a question and frowning at everyone while leaning against the wall with her fist on her hip waiting to reprimand a guest that sat in the wrong place or didn't use the right tongs, all while watching Dr Phil.

My future daughter in law, a college student saved up her money and treated my son her fiance, my oldest son, myself, her mom to a trip to Louisiana. I drove 13 hours straight and arrived in Hammond at LaQuinta Inn a "pet friendly" hotel. We were all exhausted from the long drive. She paid for a room. There were 2 full size beds and 5 of us in the room so someone slept on the floor as they did not allow cots for that size room. In the morning the person who slept on the floor had a soaking wet blanket which was under the sleeping bag, the floor was soaked! The air condition unit leaked all night . I moved the curtains and there was MOLD around the air conditioner. So we had been breathing mold all night without knowing it. I went down and complained to management who said he would be up as soon as he was done with his call. A housekeeper came up and took pictures, felt the floor and blanket, we also took pictures. It was over an hour before management came up. I myself was at my vehicle at the time he came up. So when I came back into the hotel I stopped and asked about the 100% satisfaction guarantee LaQuinta states. We were told they would give us $15. The room total was 104.00 so I found that UNacceptable. This was not a towel shortage issue or bad tv reception issue this was a HEALTH issue. I told him to keep the $15, that I would report the issue . He said "Do what you think you need to do". My son stayed behind to try to talk to him. he said he "JUST" got a complaint that our dog barked. Hmm strange, he never barked when the housekeeper came in, or even the manager, never barked while we were in there and was never left alone. Then the manager changed his story a little and said the person who complained " wasn't sure if it was a bark or a snore" . But he stated that because of this he reduced our refund from our 100% satisfaction guarantee to make up for the "person who complained's complaint" . We left the hotel early. will NEVER stay at a LaQuinta again. I contacted Corporate and spoke to Edgar, and voiced my complaint to him. he stated the person in control of the 100%guarantee would call us back within 48 hours. Well, that call back never happened. The staff as far as the other desk clerks and housekeepers and such were extremely nice and polite. Shame they have to be working for such a horrible hotel . Someone had told us it was a 4 star hotel. The only thing that was 4 star is the employees other than management working there. The Hotel and management is definitely not 4 star.

I will be waiting for Corporates call. Did you know it takes about 24-48 hours for mold to form? So this mold was obviously there growing before they gave us the room. Yep they are renting out rooms with MOLD.

my vehicle was badly damaged during a storm at your property and I have been notified that you guys won’t be responsible for it
I visited La Quinta Inn #0928, On 8/03/18 and during my visit there was a storm and while this visit they had been working on the roof shingles were left loose, and no precautions were advised to eliminate probability of vehicles being damaged during this time, when I wake up to head out to my destiny for the day I come to find out my vehicle a Black Ford Pickup was scratched deeply damaging the paint, in three different areas, my vehicle is 2018 and due to this incindent it will loose its value, another vehicle was damaged during this same incident for the same reason, I am asking that my petition for my damaged vehicle Be reconsidered, I am aware that as a business insurances should be in place to cover these costs, I personally have to purchase insurance to cover any incident in my home, I don't see how you guys say that you guys can not be held liable, if you can't the business who did your roofing should have insurance aswell to cover these incidents...I have pictures that were taken when the incident was revealed, please contact me for more details

Checked in to the Clute/ Lake Jackson Texas location and immediately met with stained carpeting, bedspreads, cracks in the walls, flickering lights with bugs in the fixtures. Worst of all, Roaches! Do Not waste your time or money. We were offered a different room on the other side of the property right away, unfortunately, not any better. Roaches and tiny brown dots on the mattress indicating bed bugs! They need to shut down this facility immediately, i emailed the President, Keith Cline and hopefully they will dis-associate with this particular franchise, this was THE WORST LA QUINTA I HAVE EVER STAYED IN!

As soon as we got here I took my kids swimming my daughter is a blonde and we swam in the pool for a bit before we moved to the hot tub and not long after her hair turned bluish green I ask the front desk about the chemicals in the pool and they checked them . I noticed the next day the hot tub had been painted blue and ask if it could have done it they were no assistance what so ever it will cost me over 100dollars to have her hair fixed before school in a week I'm highly disappointed and very glad I didnt g we t my hair wet . I posted a before and after picture and she is naturally blonde.

This was absolutely the worst hotel experience of my entire life. On Saturday at approximately 11:45am, my family and I went to check in to the Mount Laurel hotel. The person (female) on duty at the desk (who claimed to be the manager) had no knowledge of our reservation and stated the hotel was booked. We had paid for the room earlier in the morning (around 7:00am or so) by a different employee (male) at the desk, who actually was nice. He said they didn't have any clean rooms at the moment but to return around 12 noon and they should have our room ready. The female employee seemed annoyed and was very rude to me and was more focused on her conversation on the telephone rather than doing her job. Finally, she found our reservation but voiced that she didn't understand why "HE" would have booked us a room when they were sold out. I've been in customer service my entire life, and this person is poorly trained and does NOT know who to talk guests. You seriously need to re-evaluate the quality of people that you hire and how you train them. I wish I could say this was the worst thing that happened during my stay, but unfortunately it was not. There was some side issues, like no towels and telephone not working, but who horrified me was the condition of the bedding. It was stained and it smelled like sewage. I reported the issue to the same female on Sunday morning at 8am and she was very unsympathetic and was completely rude. It was a very uncomfortable situation my myself and my family (including two small children) and as we tried to finish our stay and eat breakfast in the lobby, she kept giving us "dirty" looks. I have never in my life been so upset and disappointed about a hotel stay. This event completely ruined our entire weekend. She original said that she was discount our room but then did not. She said, I'm not going to do anything since you are going to call corporate anyway.
