I was at an LCBO location tonight at 55 Ellesmere Road in Scarborough (Toronto) Ontario, Canada.
It was absolutely disgusting how many people were there! I lost count at 47. No distancing was being enforced and the guard at the door wasn't paying attention. I left as I did not feel safe at all! The numbers of covid cases in Toronto are sky rocketing and I think it's horrible that no one at that location seemed to care. You are putting all of those employees at risk by not keeping track and just letting anyone come in. I will not go to that location again and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of how dangerous that location is, so they know not to go there.
Staff service
I order online and store pick up 4 days already. My email has trouble that I can not check the email for notice. I call to store nearby to ask for pick up so many time but the staff there name Lenter (kind like that because he spell so fast and not repeat). He works at 5035 Hurontario st, Mississauga. He is so mean and doesn't want to take my order number to check and he said that he doesn't know. I try to call him everyday to check that can I able to come to pick up my order but he always put me on hold for long time and say no. He tell me order to take 7-10 days to delivery to store, even store already have a lot of liquors. Is this true or board service like that when somebody want to drink the wine and they have to wait for 10-15 days to go to store to get the order?
It can take 3 weeks for a deliver to arrive. A staff member will contact you when your order arrives
Security issues
Location near dundas st and runnymeade at about 11 am at least eight staff working I told staff of man stealing large bottles whiskey, nobody approached him only said that your on camera, he took three bottles and walked right past the maybe 5 foot tall woman security gaurd who said and did nothing, I felt so enraged I was tempted to tackle him in parking lot. Knowing how the system works here the cops would prob charge me. Recently saw same thing happen at dundas and keele location, here the security gaurd took swift action telling guy that not happening and stopping this, this is a govt agency people. Pissed off

During this covid era the lcbo had no returns for a while, during this time my wife bought a wrong liqueur and I bought a bottle of wine by mistake. She was allowed to return hers but I was told mined couldn't be returned as it was a final sale. She explained to me that all items at the end of the aisle are final sale items. I explained I'm well aware of the final sale area but that this wine came from right in the middle of the Italian vintage section in it's own cubicle with multiple other bottles of the same wine. She wanted to take me to show me where it was and I told her again "I'm very aware of the area that your talking about but this wine was in with all the other vintage Italian wines" It was like she never heard a word I said. My family drinks a lot of high quality wine, that includes my sisters nieces and nephews and all my in-laws as I have a sister who was a major owner of 2 vineyards in Napa. She now just sells her grapes from Howell Mountain to the likes of Kathryn Hall and the Prisoner wine company. We buy a lot from the lcbo and would have liked to be heard out. Anyway the wine was a 2013 Brunello di Montalcino from La Serena estate in Tuscany and was discounted $17.55.
We are accepting returns again up until November 2020
Building condition
Good day,
Your Liquor Store in Ripley is a shambles. The floors are uneven and the front facet is falling apart. The front is to the point that the Village of Ripley has issued an ultimatetum for the building to be repaired.
You need to have this store brought up to minimal standard before reissue of their license. There is not even a sign on it indicating that they sell liquor.
Thanks
Tim Smith

Staff rudeness!
I was just at the LCBO on Bloor Street next to Ossington Ave. in Toronto. I entered the store with a mask on and used the hand sanitizer. I collected the drinks I wanted and went to the cash. I got barked at by two of the clerks on the floor to move over some fifteen feet away. Both the white and black clerks were rude to me showing no respect to myself a...

On August 29th, 2020 the LCBO at Fischerhallman and Columbia in Waterloo, ON wrongfully accused me of stealing. The security guard on duty at around 5:20 pm followed me through the store shortly after I entered and when I went to make my purchase told me that he saw me stealing and to take out the beer in my pockets. I went on to empty my pockets and show...

I understand lcbo employees are no longer allowed to carry out a purchase for a customer. This is so disappointing that you are unwilling to help a senior with an obvious handicap. Really sad when another senior sees her struggling and helps then return cart to store. Shame on you. I have never asked to be helped but felt I needed it, I felt ashamed when frefused
This is not true, as we are still allowed to do this.

Employee not wearing a mask - Aug 23, 2020
I went into the LCBO at Lloyd Manor Plaza - S0234 (M9B 2R2) on Saturday August 23, 2020 at 2:30pm. I approached a staff member to ask where a product was done. She turned to talk to me and was not wearing a mask but tucked under her chin. I brought to her attention that wearing a mask is mandatory and she should wear it like all her colleagues were. She...

Incompetent, rude, arrogant cashier
I'd like to file a complaint against the young male cashier who served me at the Summerhill LCBO store on the above date/time: arrogant, condescending and respectless. Also, quite incompetent: when asked about an item past its expiration date (they carry plenty of such products on their shelves), he had to go and get "the manager" - and he returned with somebody I suspect wasn't even the store manager who told me in a very rude manner they'd rather dispose of that product than sell it to me!
Greetings,
This sounds like a fix term employee. These are additional staff hired during peak sales times. ETC Summer, or Christmas. They are not as fully knowledgeable as our full time staff. But to be fair, most staff would not be able to answer the question you posed, and the only items that usually expire are beer. Beer is usually sold long before that time comes. If you are so concerned about expire dates, perhaps contact the specific company directly.

Security
I tried to enter the LCBO at Yonge St. and Green Lane in Newmarket (East Gwillimbury) today. The security guard started yelling at me when I approached the second door. When I stopped and asked him what it was that had him so troubled, he continued to yell at me, claiming that I was not allowed to enter without his permission, stating that I had to wait in...

Read full review of Liquor Control Board of Ontario [LCBO]Imported lezajsk beer
Hello Complaints Board,
I would like to buy Lezajsk Beer by the case. It would be best if I could order it online or go to my local LCBO which is 3000 Richelieu Rockland Ontario. All LCBOs stock this beer. It is extremely frustrating to me that they tear open the cases and sell it only by the bottle and then treat me like I'm doing something wrong when I say I want the case. I am a good customer... I am an adult stocking a household not a teenager who only wants one or 2 beers. I don't want to get people in trouble but the treatment myself and my partner recieved at the LCBO in Orleans is unacceptable. I realize that covid is changing shopping so I tried to buy my beer online but no joy. The website says I can only have 1 and I should change quantities. I want 60 at a time. That is 3 cases. Each case is 20 pints. Please advise.

Customer service
I guess the LCBO Thornbury branch might uses detergented water instead of hand sanitizer, because they are re-use 'One step' hand senitizer bottle but that was not a gel just liquid like water and strange smell not alcohol. It's not even a difficult situation to get a hand sanitizer right now, but I don't understand using this strange thing. Also, a woman shouted at the cashier, saying, "Line up in the aisle where the man is" A man was blocking the aisle, so I was waiting beside six feet away from him, I didn't line up there and I just waited for the man to pick out the wine. And my sister was kicked out of the store when I was trying to borrow a cell phone to pay for it and a male cashier named Ben asked me who was going to pay for it and told me to leave the store if you are not pay for it. I know there's a lot to keep in the pendemic situation, but Covid-19 pendemic is a virus we all need to be careful about, not a reason to be unfriendly to everyone. I hope they don't get rude under the pretext of fendemics. They didn't seem to know much about hygiene education because your employees are only in small town. I've visited Toronto, Vaughan, and the Wasaga Beach area, they ware very high knowledge about customer care and hygiene. And there's no such rude shop like here. This is the only place that makes customers so rude without proper hygiene knowledge and nothing any PPE. I'm not going to use LCBO after today. Previously, our family always went here, because there was only LCBO in the local, I'm only going to The beer store next time because of these rude employees.
