salmon and sweet potato dry
When I received my to go order the salmon was burnt & dry! My sweet potato was dry. I called manager ask if I would return for new order. I WORKED A LONG 10 hour day. Sure I will go I'm still hungry! Manager forgot my order but I didn't have to wait long for second order. Sweet potato still dry/hard. I asked for broccoli. Salmon looked good but when I get back to my hotel (15 minutes later) the salmon is over cooked and crunchy.
Pictures are of 2nd trip.
service. dirty location
When we were given our menus they were dirty. The menus had food and sauce all over it.
Afterwards when we opened our napkins the utensils inside were also dirty with food. Our first server decided not to attend us because I complained to here about the dirty menus. Took about 10mins to get a new server.
The new server was pleasant but I was already disappointed by the bad service from our first server and the dirty menus and utensils. I am most likely not to return in a very long time and will let everyone know of our experience .
not willing to accommodate large party
I just spoke with the Longhorn Steakhouse in Berwyn, IL to find out their seating policy. We have a party of 30 that will be dining there tomorrow at 5pm for my grandmother's 85th birthday. I was pretty much told by a gentleman who I believe was the manager saying thanks for the heads up and calling early. Then, he goes on to say that due to Sweetest Day tomorrow they can not accommodate our party. We were there last year same time and day with a party of 20 and had no issues. Plus, I have never known a restaurant to turn down such a big party that can and will go towards their revenue and recommendations to other potential diners. This is an utter disappointment. Now, we have to split our party up to 10 people each and have them seated all across the restaurant defeating the purpose of this celebration. Or, get there and stand and wait for 3 hours as the manager said. I thought calling a day early was a great way to prepare them for our arrival tomorrow. There needs to be a better policy or a way to accommodate large parties when the party calls 24 hours before time to give a heads up.
food, service, drinks
We had a large party of 9 people eat dinner for a special occasion on 8/26/18. My husband and I ordered drinks from the bar to start off. When our drinks arrived they both tasted very very watered down. My drink was supposed to be a cosmopolitan and it tasted like pink tinged water. My husband ordered a Long Island iced tea and his also tasted like water! I told the waitress and my husband agreed to get the same drink again and I told the waitress I didn't want another drink. She was insistent that that she could order me a lemon drop martini and that I'd like it. I reluctantly agreed to try it. In the meantime I ordered a steak dinner cooked medium and it arrived but was dry and well well done! I had to send it back. Both drinks came and my husband said his was a little better and he would drink it. My drink was disgusting. Very very bitter! The waitress took so long to come back with my steak that the whole party finished their meal. She brought us the check and I told her about the lemon drop martini being so bitter and gross that i couldn't drink it and she said she wished I had told her earlier because she had already printed my check! She did not offer to take the drink off the bill nor did she offer to send over the manager. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the drinks, the meal and the service!
service in concord, nh
My husband, daughter and son-in-law went to Longhorn in Concord, New Hampshire on Saturday night for dinner. We are frequent flyers there and have never had such bad service or attitude. The waitress kept forgetting what we ordered and my husband ordered a sirloin and my son-in-law a filet. It was obvious when he started eating it that it was not a filet (which as you know is much more money) so we called the waitress over. She called the manager who came over and insisted it was a filet. And "no" you could not cut it with a fork! He finally asked, "Well, do you want another one!" We said yes and the rest of us continued with our meal. His steak came out when we had finished, alone on a plate which the manager basically threw on the table. The silverware had been cleared away so he had to wait for more silverware, which the manager again tossed onto the table. At the end of the meal we called the manager back again and told him how unprofessional he was and he finally agreed to take the steak off of our check. He said he was in a hurry because "a friend wanted to give him a hug!" That is not professional! I wanted corporate to know that is not acceptable and it was not "standing room only" so it should have been better service.

service
Went to the Longhorn Macon Rd Columbus Ga on Sat 13, 2018 there was a group of nine, after arriving we did not get seated until 7:50. The restaurant told us they didn't have seating for that many but we looked around and saw they had a table that would of seated 5 but was not cleaned off and a table next to it that could of been pulled together to seat us immediately but instead we stayed and waited 50 mins which was not my choice. The staff was in no hurry to clean off table. This experience will make our group not go back to this restaurant and I will not recommend this place to anyone. This was an inexcusable incident that should of never happened. I blame the manager for this problem.
service
Today, Oct.13, 2018, our anniversary, my husband took me to LongHorn, my favorite restaurant. We were at 12901 S. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando about 20 miles from our house. I don't have the receipt since we paid cash. Our server was Michael. We ordered an appetizer, my husband got steak, shrimp, upgraded side to cup of soup. I got the red rock shrimp dinner upgraded side to spaghetti squash. We were there about 2pm. Our appetizer came. Within about 3-4 minutes our salads came and then our server came with my husbands soup. All the food was on top of each other, we told our server it needed to slow down, it was our anniversary & we wanted to enjoy a nice meal. He said he had but a hold on our meals till we could get through the food in front of us. My husband was furious, the restaurant was three quarters empty and we were getting the bums rush. This is not the first time this has happened at this location. We finally got a server there Tina that is wonderful but she was off today. Out of all the LongHorn's we've been to throughout the country this is the only one that we have had this experience repeatly at. Michael did try and make it better with a complimentary dessert plus a bowl of ice cream with happy anniversary spelled out in chocolate from him. I don't know if you train this location this way or maybe it's lack of training but it made for a very uncomfortable anniversary meal. Please review or revise your training for employees. Driving close to a half hour for a meal, cost etc should be a pleasant experience not a rushed experience like Taco Bell.
management
I was in Longhorn the other day and noticed how poorly the manager was treating his workers. He was yelling at them and being super rude to them about things that didn't even seem to be their fault. He carries himself like he is entitled to everything and seems to have little concern for the customers or the employees in that restaurant. Normally I do not write reviews to places but after noticing the little hostess balling her eyes out at the front after being yelled at by the manager I had to say something because that is not only embarrassing for her but for the company as a whole. I asked one of the Servers what his name was and she proceeded to tell me it was the general manager Rob Smiley.
service
My husband and I visit your establishment often and we have always been satisfied with the service and food. However, a recent visit to Store #5194 was a different experience. I feel that we were discriminated against (African Americans). We were seated at the table and we waited for atleast 10-15 minutes before a waitress came to our table. She took our drink order, appetizer and salad. I asked for the straw and she said oh ok, we have to wait on the customers to ask for the straws now (Save the whale). So she left to get the straws and didn't come right back. No silverware on tables. So when she finally came back, she still didn't have the straw. Eventually we received the straws. Then she went on to the remaining three tables (Caucasian customers) and started talking and asking if they needed anything. When she came back to our table I asked "shouldn't my husband had received his salad by now" She apologized and said she would check on it. Instead of doing so, she proceeded back to the other three tables and started pouring them water and conversing. She finally decided to bring the salad. Then I waited a while on the stuffed mushrooms. When those arrived, they were not hot. It was as if she allowed them to sit in the kitchen before bringing them. She barely came to our table. Never received refills. We waited a long time to receive our food as I was watching other waiters/waitresses coming out promptly with their customers' food. Our waitress kept being attentive to the other three tables who had already finished their meals or was on dessert. When our meal finally came after waiting so long, she apologized for the 4th time saying the kitchen was behind. I know that wasn't true because I kept seeing food coming from the kitchen. Someone else ended up bringing our food to the table. We had to ask another waitress for the A1 sauce because our waitress never came to see if we had everything. The service was awful. We always order the combo. Steak and salmon which has always came with rice plus two sides. The rice was not on our plates and when we asked her, she claimed it didn't come with rice. I tried to tell her that we ordered the same thing each time and it did. I noticed when time to leave, another table of customers came and she went straight to their table. Within a matter of minutes, their salad was at their table. the whole night was a disaster. We always leave more than the tip requires but that night I didn't leave anything. I didn't feel that she deserved MY money after a service like that. Her name on the receipt is Madison M. and I truly think that she's a racist!
management at longhorn steakhouse
On Friday night September 21st I patronized your establishment. After finishing our meal I received the bill. I gave the waitress my credit card and after a few minutes she returned to say that she accidentally ran my card from my bill and another tables bill as well. She gave me my receipt and a receipt saying that she "pulled back" the other tables bill that on my card. The problem is that this mistake put a hold on my credit for $117, which only $67 of that should have even been charged.
After the hold was still on the card on Tuesday September 25, I revisited the Long Horn Location in Lansing, MI on West Saginaw Hwy wanting to know when the hold would be taken off but also what would be done by Long Horn for the inconvenience it caused. The manager Kirk/Kurt said he wanted to make sure that hold comes off and once it does I could come back and discuss some type of compensation for the inconvenience. I left my name and number and he advised that someone from management would reach out the following day.
After 5 days of an additional $50.38 being held on my credit card the money was released. Randy, the manager on duty called to be sure if was released and I advised him yes. However when I asked what would be done to compensate me for the inconvenience caused by Long Horn staff, he said "the money was released, you're all set." I said, "no I am not all set, Long Horn staff made an error, not my credit card company, by running my card twice and $50.38 was held on my card for almost a week in error." Long Horn Steakhouse doesn't know my financial situation and doesn't know what type of issues that type of error can cause. The manager then rudely says, "Again the money was released, so you're all set" I then advised what the manager the prior day said to me regarding that they would be able to discuss options of what will be done to compensate me for the inconvenience Long Horn Steak House caused. I advised I needed a gift card or something for the trouble and trips to Long Horn to settle this matter. He then rudely says, "Sir, the money was released, We won't be giving you anything, no gift cards." At that moment I was in shock because I'd never been talked to be the staff at Long Horn. The manager Randy was rude and unconcerned about the inconvenience caused
Initially my desired resolution was just a $50 gift card for the inconvenience caused and the unconcern if the error would've caused any issues with my credit card company, not to mention time and gas spent going back to Long Horn attempting to get this issue resolved. Now since I've had to go this far and complain to the corporate office and spend time out of my day to construct this complaint, I am now requesting a gift card of $100, I feel that would show that Long Horn Steakhouse cares about their customers and value them as people and not just another dollar. I am really surprised and upset that it has come to this but I am giving Long Horn a chance to make this right before taking the next course of action by calling the Better Business Bureau
veteran discount
I visit Longhorn at least once a week. It has become one of my favorites. I have always been given a military discount. This particular night at the McDonough, Ga location, I requested to have a military discount and provided my ID. The waitress and then the Manager said they do not offer this. I pulled it up online at Veteran source.org to confirm that Longhorn is in fact a place that offers this.
It was disappointing to come and find that veterans are not offered this discount at this restaurant.
servers
I called employee relations to report and issue and I was dismissed by the lady. She told me all I reported was allegations. Well of course anything reported is allegations! It's your job to investigate! Us servers should not be subject to dealing with the crap everyday and being treated less than other due to sexual relations. I reported that one of my managers, Jason Brackney, is sleeping with another coworker, Amanda(mandi) McMahan, who is now being looked at for management fill in positions. She gets all kinds of special treatment, they are doing drugs together, she is even buying adderal, AT WORK!, and a bunch of us have seen them making out on company property. This is highly inappropriate and ridiculous! This needs to be looked into not dismissed!
service & food
My husband & I was on a quick getaway to Lake City Florida & decided to have dinner at Longhorn (3092 west us highway 90). This occurred on Saturday 9/15/18 @ approx 830p.
We arrived and entered the restaurant...greeted and was told it would be approx 15-20 mins before being seated. We agreed to the wait and was given a black buzzer. We needed to wait outside because the inside was very crowded so we asked if it would buzz outside and the answer was "oh absolutely, if not we will come grab you when your table is ready". We stepped outside and sat on the bench. After about 30 mins my husband said its been alot longer than 20 mins, several people have left, lobby cleared and people AFTER us were seated. We went back inside and was told They buzzed us but it never went off. Another worker came up and said no we didn't buzz you, it was our mistake.
Sat at table 35 (Laura was the waitress). She took our order which was Outlaw Ribeye 18oz (well done) and 6oz sirloin & parmesan chicken with grilled corn. We waited about 15 mins and the food came out. We asked for A1 steak sauce that we never received. I cut into my Ribeye steak and took 2 bites and gagged! It was absolutely horrible! I flipped it over to find it was burnt beyond recognition. Sent it back to the kitchen - waited another 10 mins and it came out again...this time it was still raw! Over 65% of the meat was pink! Sent it back AGAIN, waited and it came back medium well...15% pink. By this time I was extremely upset. Thankful for my husband sharing his food...still with no steak sauce. Laura apologize once and that was not appropriate for the MANY issues we experienced this night. Longhorn is our favorite restaurant but this night was THE WORST EVER! And management NEVER came to the table to apologize nor fins out what was going on with the many steaks going back to the kitchen. My husband never received his rice after we asked 3 times just as we never received the steak sauce or soda refills either. We paid $56 for the absolute worst service & food ever from Longhorn...no discounts offered. Longhorn wasted money and food and customers because now I feel we should patronize Texas Roadhouse. Very disappointed customer!
wait time
We went to longhorns in covington, Ga. for my birthday dinner (71) last night 9/22. We had checked on our app to make sure there was no wait as it was 8 pm. The app said no wait. The hostesses had never heard of the reservation app. They told us the wait would be half an hour. So we got glasses of wine to make the best of it. As we went to the rest room we noticed a whole section empty. After waiting for an hour we finally talked to the manager on duty Chris Crawley. He said he sent 2 servers home around 7:30 because it had slowed down. This was a Saturday night! He got defensive and attempted to justify his poor judgment. We were finally seated at 9pm. We talked to the server who was precious and we could tell she was very frustrated by the situation as were other servers. Later he came to our table and had a change of attitude somewhat. He wanted to do something for us so he gave us free desserts. We didn't want dessert. My son (39) was paying for the evening and his steak was so tough he couldn't eat it. The general manager is Mitch Narrison who wasn't there. We probably will not go back to this location.

lack of acknowledgement and no sense of urgency
Good evening,
Everytime my family and I come to this location their is never a sense of urgency from the staff. It seems unorganized and the hospitality is always mediocre. After being seated and waiting for extreme amount of time, I always have to ask "who is our server?", My family feels as if their is a bother to them when the server comes because the experience is uncomfortable. We love the food and its the closest location to our place or residence, however we want to feel welcomed and that we are not a chore but a choice. Please take this feedback and work hard to get better.
servers are unprofessional
Me and my boyfriend went out to Long Horn in Madison Ms and the service was the worst. Our server she tooked our drink orders while we looked over our menus; she then came back with drinks now taking our orders but never gave us straws. Then i think another server had to bring us straws. We then got our food seperate from each other and the steak was swiming in juices like she let it sit in the window to long. We know because we both was once cooks and we did see her walk outside for a while so maybe she was out smoking. I had a 75 dollar check without even getting 75 cent worth of service; even her boss walk over to table because he knew we was not happy, but we just paid and took our food to go since it took my food the longest to come out, so my boyfriend sat there trying to wait so we could eat together.
customer service
On September 7 at 12:30 we went to Longhorn in Aiken . As we entered there was one lady ahead of us . It wasn't crowded so we thought great. The greeter didn't speak to us . Do we just stood there waiting . Totally ignoring us. The greeter was walking back and forth from her booth to the dining area. There were three of us waiting to be seated. When she came back she still didn't acknowledge us! So I spoke up and said miss there's three of us. She looks up and says twenty mins. Ok so we sit down and wait. Looking around the dining room we can't help but notice one large table on people. The restaurant only had a few tables and booths we people sitting at them. Most of the tables and booths were empty. We waited and waited the greeter left the front after telling us 20 mins. No one else came in while we waited. What could take so long? This has become a problem at this Aiken Longhorn poor customer service! Short handed I guess . Why make 3 people sit and wait when most of the restaurant was empty? This was my husbands birthday and I wanted to take him and my daughter for a special lunch ! After more than 20 mins passed we decided to leave and go somewhere else. Management and customer service should handle things better! Very disappointed!
mrgerman, the manager on duty sunday evening
We arrived at 5:19, was sit down immediately but was 15 minutes before we was waited on, which I understand because they just switched shifts, the lady took our drink order brought us bread which we had to wait on because there was none done. There was 5 of us there I ordered my salad with no tomatoes or cucumbers, my salad held everything up because it was special. Took forever! My brother ordered a prime rib, after 30 minutes of us ordering the waitress tells us that the prime rib is not suitable to serve and would a ribeye be ok. My brother said that's gonna take more time so no he didn't want to do that, then the waitress said oh no they have done out the ribeye on to cook. So he took it, my thing is what if he didn't want a ribeye. So we waited again for everyone's food to get there then I asked for the manager. I distinctly told him I didn't feel as if it was the waitress fault because tables around us was complaining, but I said to him we had been there for 2 hours and he proceeds to tell me it takes time to prepare the food and on and on then asked him why did he just assume my brother wanted a ribeye and he then says it's compatible to a prime rib! No it's not! So I do no he made that decision. He should have at least asked before he did that.. the waitress then comes over and I tell her that I told the manager that I didn't feel as if it was her fault but he had already fussed at her to the point she was in tears... he was a real [censored] and I just didn't appreciate anything he said or did... I love longhorns and want to continue to eat there but I won't as long as he is there

service and not honoring a coupon
Date of Incident :8/24/2018
Long Horn Winston Salem, NC #5168
We arrived for dinner around 4:30 p.m. We were waited on someone from the bar because waiters were short. It took forever for us to get our order taken. He brought drinks quickly but we waited probably 10 - 15 minutes before he returned to take our order.
We told him we had a coupon for a free appetizer. He looked at the coupon and said it had expired. We showed him the email where the coupon came in on and he said he would mention this to the manager. He came back, said the manager said the coupon was not valid, but would honor the coupon anyway. The coupon was free appetizer with one adult entree. Code LH70 Exp. 9/4/2018. The e-mail was from [protected]@e.longhornsteakhouse.com. We had signed up to receive these e-mails.
When we left the restaurant we realized we had been charged $7.99 for the Texas Tonion, the Appetizer which should have been free. The waiter told us the manager had said she would honor but they charged us anyway.
We were with friends and they were stunned as well.
Check #49667 Total $53.34!
Derek B was the waiter
The receipt was printed on a machine which needed a new ribbon so it is hard to read the rest of it.
We would like this money refunded to us! My husband did not realize we were charged until we left.
