I ordered a dishwasher, on-line, 11/27. Shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail from the installation date but without an install date. I called the installation company to find out when installation would happened. I was told, "not until December 27! A whole month for a dishwasher. I was told that they did not have a power cord and the power cord would not be available until 12/27. I wanted to cancel my order. They transferred by to some Lowe's entity. I told them to cancel the order. They said they would take care of it and that I should get a confirmation from Lowe's Bluffton within the hour. Four hours later, nothing. I directly called Lowe's Bluffton and the receptionist transferred my call. I got the pleasure of hearing a phone ring 35 times before the call was dropped. I called back and explained what happened and please don't do that again. After hearing 35 rings, the call was dropped. So, I tried one more time. Stupid me, the same thing happened a third time. My only resort now is to make sure that my credit card company reverses the four Lowe's charges.
I always considered Lowe's a good alternative to Home Depot. six years ago, I bought seven appliances from Lowe's. Now they have lost my business.
Claimed loss: They wasted my time and they were non responsive.
Desired outcome: Hopefully, this will not happen to anyone else.
We are just closing out the file on certain complaints.
Whereas there is no further communication, we can only assume that this complaint has been resolved to the complainant's approval.
Thank you for providing this opportunity.
We can't begin to tell you how sorry we are for your frustration. Having unexpected delays is never something anyone cares for. Unfortunately, whereas you initially authorized the transaction, you're likely to find reversing the charge somewhat difficult.
Take a moment to contact the Lowe's Customer Service Escalation number at 1 /800 /445 /6937. Let us know if that doesn't resolve your issue.
