I like lulu and its products a lot. My extensive shopping is almost always done at one of the Lulu branches.
Day before yesterday I bought a washing machine which I was told, would be delivered the next day. I was given six hours waiting period for the next day which is too long for anyone just to sit and wait for 6 hrs.!
With the google map distance calculation, one can easily calculate the delivery time for each time and, may keep half an hour time in hand for any emergency.
Yet another mishap: I was given the time from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm! I received a call at 11:30 pm while I was sleeping, the person was asking my address to come and deliver the washing machine(nuts!). I asked him to come next day to install the machine but he said he will only deliver. 1) It is very unprofessional to drop the machine without installing and making sure that there are no issues in the machine. 2) Am I supposed to get a plumber at an additional cost to install the machine?
Previously, I bought a cooking range from LuLu and they installed the stove and asked us to make sure that everything is fine. That's what all the reputable companies do!
I am quite upset about this approach and would want Lulu to correct their appointments scheduling and install the big machines that need a specialist.
