Macy's customer service

I went shopping on Black Friday and waited 45 minutes in line but when I reached the counter, Macy's system is down and they're not accepting any credit card or debit card. Nobody peaannounced that the system was down, customer will only know it once they're ready to pay that they're not accepting credit/debit card and only accepting cash. They put the items on hold and I told them I'll be back in 10 mins to get cash and was told that I need to go back in line. It was not my fault that system was down. If it's my fault, I don't mind falling in line again. It will take an hour to wait in line again. There should be a Macy's associate announcing to people on line that they're only accepting cash so that they can go out on line. That was a very frustrating experience. Falling in line twice for an hour each is ridiculous specially when it's not a customers fault.

The same thing happened to us. we just left our items and went to jcpenney. to the poster above... someone should have told everyone in line that they could not accept cards as payment plain and simple and it doesn’t matter if it’s black friday or not. smh

Macy's waldorf store

When I when in this store they always busy also I trying looking for the manager and I never find, one week ago I asked for tennis shoes tho a old woman who work in that section and she was so rude with me and I asked and she never see my face only look my friend face, and I am the person who have my Macy credit card I am client no the other guy.

Macy's they care nothing about us

I bought two pairs of earrings for my daughter for her birthday and paid extra for an express delivery, so it meant that I would get the items the next day.
I got an email with a scheduled time (3 pm), but I never got anything.
So I contacted their CS and was said that my order was canceled.
Great. I have only one question: why didn't you tell me? I think I needed to know this important information, especially when you decided to do everything on your own.
I still don't know what's wrong with my order and what I have to do next because no one of them wants to help me.

Macy's macy furniture worrynomore warranty trap

I am complaining a Macy business trap I got into about 7 years ago. I purchased a leather sofa set on 5/23/2010. At the time when I made the purchase, the sale person sole me the "Worrynomore" warranty, telling me if I would not use the service for 7 years, I would get the money back. When I asked how could I get the Money back in 7 years, the sale person just pointed to a number [protected]) on the receipt and tell me to call this number, and give us no more information.

I called [protected] today and found I am not able to get the money back anymore because I am supposed to call within 90 days after warranty expired which was June 26 this year. I look careful at the Macy receipt and do not see this piece information and argued with Macy. Macy told me that I was supposed to receive a warranty policy and care kits which I've never received.

Macy asked me to dispute with WorryNoMore company, then I called WorryNoMore, then WorryNoMore ask me to call MACY to see if Macy can override the delivery date, then I called MACY, MACY ask me to file dispute, but can't find the dispute website, etc... I am not going to spent more time on this $228, but very angry about this MACY business trap!

I hope I can post my experience somewhere so other people can see it and will do get into the trap like me! I will continue to find a public place to complain this.

Macy's customers care representative

I ordered some furniture from Macy's which was delayed more than one month after whole month I was set up for delivery and at delivery day I waited for more than 5 hours while the driver called me a couple of times about his arrival but he never reached there then I called on customers care three times the last representative who talked to me was so disrespectful and rude that she misbehaved with me and she was telling me that she is in Florida so she cannot do anything and she was so aggressive that I felt like it is not Macy's customer care but I am calling on some local grocery store who really don't care even if you spend thousands of dollars, miss your whole day commitments waiting for delivery, spend whole day for that .and on top of it Macy's customers abuse department's representative talks to you in a way that Macy's really don't care even if are a customer .for sure I am not the one who will allow Macy's customers care representative to insult me another time being a Macy's customer but I would advise the concerned to please give them some manners to not insult someone who have long attachment with Macy's .

Macy's macy's has a strange way of shipping

Macy's has tons of bad reviews and people don't learn from others' experience. They are terrible.
Do you know how long will you have to wait until your package arrives?
About a month. And we're speaking about one of the biggest retail chains in America. They have stores in all big and average cities and towns, is it so hard to ship from the closest store? is it so necessary to ship from the furthest one?
It's a very strange methoв and it doesn't save anybody's money.

Macy's did not order anything from your store and someone charged my master card 4 times

I just can't believe that anyone can come to your page and can order anything they want and you don't check, the credit card on file, name and the address. Some one charged my credit card in four different dates.
They left my bank account in 0. Why don't you check the orders and make sure they are legitimate. Now, I don't have any money in the bank. I HAVE CALLED MACYS AND THE SAME ANSWER, NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING. NOW WHAT I AM GOING TO DO. THE THIEVES BUYING WITH OUR CREDIT CARD AND IF WE DONT PAY YOU GO AND REPORT US.

Macy's messy macy's

Macy's is messy. That's what I'm gonna call this store. I placed an order consisted of 4 items (2 dresses and 2 shirts). When I received them, there as nothing to complain about. The items were right the way they were shown in the picture. BUT I wasn't satisfied by fabric quality and decided to send dresses back. I didn't expect it would give me a headache! It took me 2 days to reach out needed people from their customer service, and they even started a returning process, but then everything stopped and I don't know why. Trying to figure out it now, but this was my first and last order from
Macy's.com!

Macy's mismatched pair of shoes

Hello,

On 09/01/2017, 12:26 pm I purchased a pair of shoes on clearance for $11.36. At the time I liked a pair of heels from the clearance area, I went to the cashier and she kindly helped me get my size from the back. I checked to make sure both were the same size, since on this day my mother had to make an exchange because she wasn't given 2 different sizes. However, I didn't Check to see if they were a left and a right. Currently, I am in Ontario(home) and have noticed I have 2 right shoes. I was wondering what you could do? Since there is no use in have two right shoes. This is something the cashier should have checked.

Macy's restrooms

Woman's department restrooms had no toilet tissues, wreaked and it was unsanitary. Asked an employee for toilet tissue they said they had none and then offered me hard as a rock hand towels. I explain to them how can two children's clean themselves w/ hard towels they said it's better than nothing and its customers fault that the restrooms are dirty... macys should be ashamed that restrooms look this way (see pic) for the amount of money they charge customers. After leaving and returning back (to take pictures) they brought toilet tissue and placed them on the children's changing station.

Macy's tag left on merchandise

Hello. I was in the Macy's store located in Roanoke, Virginia on Saturday September 26, 2017. Due to the recent closing of the Macy's store closer to me in Lynchburg, Virginia I travel 50 miles one way to go to this Roanoke location. I made a purchase in the children's department on to get home to find out that the security tag was still on a pair of shorts that my son really wanted to wear. Now I have to go back there this weekend to get this security tag off. I was going to just return these shorts but my son insist on keeping them. This has been a big inconvenience for my husband and I as well as my son because he ask me everyday after school if I had fixed his shorts.

Macy's service is bad

Very disappointed with the lady stay in the cashier counter
The employee tells me to go to another cashier counter 3x times.?
Especially this India lady.. actually she is not busy only one customer
but she said she is busy telling me to go the another cashier again but that counter also busy and later she not stand at the cashier counter. So I go back to that lady again she almost done with the same customer.. but she told me she not gonna take care of me.. omg what kind of service in Macy's..? At last, I complained to another employee (Ansary) he understands and he knows I'm so disappointed.. but Ansary very good even he had another customer half way but he still takes care of me.. then I paid (not even 5 minutes). Thank you very to Ansary. Ansari did a great job.
I don't know why? I make payments not even five minutes why that lady not gonna take care of me..?
This is what Macy's treat to the customer..?

Macy's no refund

Silly me. I should have read all of the reviews before doing business with them. They did to me absolutely the same thing they do to many of their customers. I ordered stuff from them, they charged me and after realizing the order was not what I wanted I went to the store wanting a refund. I have proofs I paid but they couldn't find payments. They refuse to say they issued it. Don't know what to do, because they are not helpful and still there's no refund.

Macy's employee macys card

it has been the third time the Macy's card sent refund check of the balance to me. I always use my card to shop now and then. And I have to call them to cancel the check and put the money back on my account. This time, the customer service supervisor Jonathan told me, it took 2 billing cycle to show the money on my account. And he couldn't do anything else to solve the problem if I need to shop with my Macys card now. What a customer service they provide... Don't expect them to solve your problem that they cause it...

Macy's done with the macy's forever

I ordered e-gift card for my father and encountered some issues. I was notified about cancelling my order. I contacted the service with obvious questions and was said that something did not work, even though I confirmed my order through email. I made an order again and it was cancelled again. I asked my wife to do the same from her account. It didn't help. Ok, we just gave up and made up a different way. But not with the Macy's.

Macy's worst delivery

My order never arrived. I ordered it one month before my trip to Europe. After I found out it wouldn't come, I ordered the same item hoping to get it by the time of the trip. But it wasn't delivered either. So what's the issue?
I don't live in the woods. The address I wrote is right, the order didn't stick anywhere. They let me down and I will never use them again.

Macy's supervisor

the savannah office has a dept supervisor by the name of Tareka CHampion. SHe is the worst supervisor I have ever come in contact with. SHe gossips about other employees everytime I come into the store I see her talking about someone. SHe has a bad attitude and never tries to help me & always have an attitude like she do not want to be bothered. She is the worst supervisor in the macys store in savannah.

Macy's bad quality

Silly me. I bought all of my furniture from Macy's and realized that the quality was awful. I found some defects on my mattress even though it was bought 3 months ago. The corporate wasn't helpful at all and talked to me in a rude manner. He said I have to pay for a replacement. Looked like he didn't believe that it was their fault. I will not pay for such a terrible quality and will never go shopping there again.

Macy's customer service

On August 15, 2017, at around 7:00-7:45pm, I was gravely unhappy with the way the customer service representative, her name is Reina who works as a cashier in the intimate department at the First Colony Macy's store in Sugarland. Reina treated me as customer acutely poorly and unacceptable. She was not helpful and she did not greeted me like how every customers should be greeted. To make matter worse, I thought after speaking to the intimate section manager, Dammy, that he would make things better. But on the contrary, Dammy, was very rude to me and he was unwilling to assist me in giving me my return when the purchased items were never worn before. Dammy is the worse manager I had ever had to encounter with. This was the worse experience I ever had with Macy's customer service at the First Colony Macy's. Fortunately there was a sales manager, his name is Bryan. He was the only manager who was kind and willing to assist me with my return. If there are more employees like Reina, the cashiers and Dammy as store managers, I will end all of my shopping with Macy's. And I will tell my family and friends to never shop at Macy's again. I would rather shop at another place where the quality of customer service are valued and held in its highest regards.

Macy's not helpful

I and my son went for a shopping on a Friends and Family day to buy new toys. I thought it would be a good idea to get some discounts. We bought what we wanted and returned to the register, but didn't find anyone working. I found a man who was working there before and asked him to get us served. He was slow and kind of mad, maybe that's why he said we won't get discounts even though they were supposed to be there... Do you think it's ok to provide service like this? When your employees will finally care about customers and tell them the truth? They are not helpful and don't express a bit of happiness when you enter the store. Terrible.
