Mashreq Bank Unauthorised credit card charges

Dear sir,
I received a message in my mobile no: [protected] dated on 24/07/2018 stating that minimum amount of AED 218.00 is due on credit card ending with 1831 by 28/07/2018.

"Message is given below
Dear Customer, a minimum amount of AED 218.00 is due on your credit card ending with 1831 by 28/07/2018. Please ignore this message if already paid. T&C Apply"

Please note at present I don't have any meshreq credit card or account existing. I had cancelled my salary transfer account & credit card 2 years back (September 17, 2016) in al riqqa branch, dubai and after that I didn't received any message regarding above mentioned dues

Kindly check & confirm the above message send to my mobile no: [protected] is correct or not. Presently I am in annual vacation in india & will be back on 13/08/2018.

Please note at present I don't have any meshreq credit card or account existing.

Dear All,

Every body need to check the statement every month. Mashreq Banks are adding Un-necessary charges Like (Pay Protect) without any information to the customers. when i check., i found that they are deducting this unnecessary charges from January 2018 on wards with out my permission. i requested to the bank for cancel the pay protection and revers my amount back.Request reference no is REF-1514505-S6T6V8.

i am waiting for Bank response to proceed further.

Mashreq Bank Mashreq neo debit card activation

Dear Sir,

 

I have applied for a new account  in your bank through online and I  received the card and cheque book on 04.07.2018.

I tried to activate the card so many times through the service number, but not successful.

Everytime I contact the service support, they are saying that it will activated in 24 to 48 hours. But nothing has happened so far.

Request your goodself to do the needful to activate my account with your bank at the earliest.

kindly inform the costumers, if how any days or week it will takes before we can deposits our money on our account.
its been 9 days now, but until now no response for you the side of mashreq neo.
I did all my best to refer to my friends also but unfortunately my name now is in disaster because all of they are also asking about their accounts.

Mashreq Bank Unauthorize login attempt to online account

Dear Masreq Bank Team,

I have got text messages on my registered Mobile number( [protected]) for unsuccessful Login Attempts at my account # [protected] on following Timings

1- 19:22:42 Date 30-06-2018

2- 19:24:04 Date 30-06-2018

I am complaining that these attempts were not made by me and Please provide me detail information about these attempts and suggest further how to increase my security measures and further action.

Mashreq Bank My account is hold by mashreq

This is related to EOSB case. I hvae salary account with Mashreq and also personal loan. Recently I changed the job. I have submitted all the required documents to bank before 4 working days but till now I have not got any information from bank . The account is still on hold and I am not able to use my money. Not able to contact the representitive of mashreq bank though tried through e-mail and phone call. Even last two months salry from my new co. has been credited to this mashreq bank.

Mashreq Bank Credit card

Hi sir,

My name is jaiju paul and I had a mashreq credit card and it is not active.

However on aecb (al etihad credit bureau) system, it is showing I have two credit card cards. Can you please make the necessary changes to your system so that it can reflect it with aecb.

Mashreq Bank Complaining about I am receiving message for every month from your bank pertaining to statement.

Complaining about i am receiving message for every month from your bank pertaining to statement. I never activated your credit and used as well for any purpose. Also i have told before to cancel this credit card. I this credit card also expired i believe. I dint have any card with me now from mashreq bank . That card ending with number 3645. Mashreq Bank Unauthorized current account & cheque book

Today (June 20, 2018) morning 9:15am & 10:02am two sms received from Mashreq bank on my registered mobile number. sms are
1. Dear Mashreq Customer, your cheque book has been dispatched to you by courier. For more information please contact the courier company on 600 565555
2. Welcome to Mashreq. For further details on your current account No.[protected] visit www.mashreqbank.com/new account or call 04 424 4444 T & C apply.
I did not asked Mashreq bank to open in my name any account nor I have done any documentations with mashreq bank related to current account opening. When I called on 04 424 4444, customer care provide me 8003328 number & 800 3328 explained me that credit card collection department have done this. On my one mashreq credit card FRAUD transactions took placed and investigation is still going on with mashreq bank investigating team (mbchargebacks). This investigation team already got Merchant report about these fraud transactions and they asked to fill up another progressive form for further investigation. All these histories collection depart knows very well, despite this, this collection department torturing/harassing me like this and these are not acceptable. Now with these two messages, emails from mashreq bank and supporting documents, I am going to UAE Central Bank, Bur Dubai branch tomorrow to show them about mashreq bank behaviour towards fraud transactions and current account opening and dispatch of cheque book without any documentations/formalities from my side.

Mashreq Bank Novo card

I raised a concern for cancellation of NOVO card for which i am paying 300 AED per year for movie tickets (8 tickets), but later on i learnt that now there is minimum spend requirement too, So i decided to cancel the card and go for a different bank card which has no annual fee and provides 4 tickets on minimum spend, but one of the customer care person called me saying that request has been rejected by management and when i asked him to raise again and have a reason for no refund of pro rata charges, the customer care person instead raised his voice and then disconnected and sent a message saying that your request is resolved.

I have banked with a lot of other banks but this one is worst, when u have to sell your other products your teams give call every day but for taking customer request you show attitude.there is no point of having the calls recorded if your customer care people behave like this.

Worst experience with this bank, waiting for my time with mashreq to finish.
I suggest no one should bank with them. Will never recommend to anyone.

Mashreq Bank Credit card issue

Hi,
I am using Mashreq card and my next due date is June 19th and last payment was done. Now i am getting automated calls saying my payment us due if don't make it now it will be transferred to central bank. I registered the complaint already. I don't know why i am getting these calls still. Please take it as serious complaint. Otherwise i will cancel my card.

Mashreq Bank I am complaining about an account I opened mashreq neo and worst customer service

I opened a mashreq neo acc on 16th April and they mentioned that within 3-4 days i will be getting a call from their representative, i just contact them for a doubt and they took my appointment for 21 st april for delivery . And requested me to keep all orginal docs. No one called me till 23 rd. 23 rd someone called me, and didn't ask me, are you free or can havr a talk. He straighty talk your appointment fixed for 24th april. I told him please call me in 10-15 mins. After that not received any call. I trief calling back the same nunbet no one responded. I called they customer care on 25 th they responded they will sent email and will receive a call in 48 working hours. Waited 5 working days. No one called. After that also i called same reply will sent email and will receive a call back in 48 hours. So far no one called. I am not taking this acc anymore because of tbeir customer service. Worst customer service in the banking industry and how wr can keep our money in this worst bank. Please dobt trust this bank... Their Customer service is worst. From my personal experience, emirates NBD or Dubai islamic bank is the best. They know how to deal with a customer and resolve there issues

Mashreq Bank Credit cards

Dear Mashreq Bank
I used credit card before eight month ago getting easy cash and convenience cash and I pay all eight Installment on time when I will go vecation I also paid installment due to so problem I will come back after 3 moth bank send me notice ad I also reply to the bank because of market problem we are not getting salry from 3 month company pay half salry and show in labour its current month salary but we are not receving ammount of annual leave salary but when I request to the bank for I want pay current installemt rest amount I will =clear after 2 to three month bank send me installemnt I pay dues but again call me pay rest amount this is not manner mans I will try to pay bank amount on time, so kindly explain these

Mashreq Bank Service I am complaining about the service of mashreq bank

I apply for a debit card and cheque last May 22, 2018. As per the discussion to the teller, it will be start the process on the same day. Until now, i didn't received any of those two. it's been two weeks already. then every time I try to call to the customer service they always telling that my application was still on process. It's been two weeks I am waiting for the cheque and I badly need it. Please do any action regarding this one.

Mashreq Bank Unethical behaviour

On Nov 20th, 2017, my credit card was stolen without my awareness while on visit in Bali, Indonesia.

Next day, I started to receive SMS for transactions in local shops for an amount of 8, 370 AED (approx 2, 000 USD). It was at that moment I realised I was pickpocketed, and called immediately the bank to cancel the credit card. I am happy I prevented another misuse for an amount of around 150 USD that they tried to do while I was on the line.

I raised a complaint, EDMS60262, stating that it was not me the one doing two purchases. They initially withdrew the charges from my account.

After 5 months of "investigation", the charges were put back on my account, telling me I am responsible for this, because the transactions were signed at the time of purchase -I claimed that I didn't put any PIN, or used a One Time Password-, so I requested the evidence that I signed for this.

2 weeks later I received the "evidence", and I could verify what I knew, both signatures were not mine. However, every attempt I have tried to get more info from Mashreq regarding the policy for fake signatures, I get no response from anyone involved. I just received a message that reads between lines: Investigation completed, you pay, deal with it.

I deserve the right to be responded from so basic questions I have asked customer service or the dispute team, with no luck.

Some of my questions are:
1. What is the purpose of the signature in the back of the card?

Back on the days, when you signed for a purchase your signature was compared with the one in the back of the card. I understand technology has evolved, so now you have the PIN and OTP.
2. What liability has a store that fails to implement this security measures?

3. I didn't receive any call from the bank asking me if it was me doing the transactions. I want to know what is the policy behind making this calls or not. Just a month before the incident I couldn't make a 80 usd payment because they thought it was suspicious. Why this time not?

I am not asking to get my money back, although I should. I am demanding to have the response to my queries.

Mashreq Bank Debit card

I had opened a bank account with Mashreq bank 3 weeks back. I have not yet received the cheque book or my debit card. Since this is my salary account i am not able to withdraw money for my personal use.Even after registering a complaint 2 times I have not received any single update from the bank. Please consider into the issue and sort the problem as soon as possible or else i will be forced to close my bank account since i have no other option.

Mashreq Bank Rudest customer service by nasreen al booshi and ahmed nabravi

Date of Incident - May 14, 2018

Full Description of the Incident -

Today morning around 8.25 to 8.50 I was in Masshreq Bank Karama Branch. Nasreen Al Booshi served me. She was the rudest customer servicing agent I have ever seen in my life. I went there to change the cheque and to unblock my dad's blocked card. Seeing her rude behaviour I asked her to be polite. And what she told me back surprised me. She told me that she dont have to smile at me or be polite with me. I was so shocked so I asked her to call someone else to help me out and a guy named Ahmed Nabravi stepped in and made the situation worser. They both started shouting at me. I was so shocked and tears started rolling down my face. It was an early day start and the way these people behaved was so unethical and very cruel.

I talked to the sales head and she asked me to take down their names from the name bord so I can file a complaint. The moment I went there to write down their names, the lady Nasreen took away her name card and shouted at me.

I cant believe that such a prestigious and world famous bank has this kind of a face. However big the institution is, its the customer service that makes a customer decide if they wanna come back or not. Very very disappointed and heart broken due to the service. Please feel free to check the CCTV of Karama Mushraq Bank on May 14, 2018 from 8.25 am to 8.50 am. You can see me walk around like a beggar and cry and also see the shock on my face.

I definitely would want some kind of action against Nasreen Al Booshi and Ahmed Nabravi. I am also planning to withdraw our bank account money and close the account as soon as possible.

Mashreq Bank Staff inappropriate communication to customer

Dear Masreqbank,

In reference to the above-mentioned subject, I want to complain your Team Leader Syed an Indian guy with mobile number [protected] and Agent Mr. Ahmed an indian guy also with mobile numbers [protected] / [protected] which supposed to handle my buy-out loan. The issue is that they are not informing that my transaction with Masreqbank has been rejected, now when I got the information to this agent Ahmed I try another bank, now this bank request a credit report from the credit bureau and it shows there that I have a loan of AED 250, 000 from Masreqbank that is the reason why the current bank cannot get an approval from the credit bureau. I'm begging how many times this Team leader and Agent to E-mail to me the Credit Bureau but the told me that they cannot give me what I'm asking and this Syed - Team Leader is telling me to go to the credit bureau and ask a report. Now the last resort that I'm begging to this two employee of Masreqbank is to send an Email that my buy-out loan has been rejected but until now they are not sending and time is running and Iwant to expedite for the process. This kind of employee will ruin the reputation of the company for the inappropriate dealing with your customer. And please take note that I am previously a Masreqbank customer. Looking forward for your prompt action on this matter. Thank you.

Mashreq Bank Wrong information submitted in credit bureau report

I do not have Loans or Credit Cards under Mashreq Bank. Now when I requested a Credit Report, Mashreq Bank came out and shows that I have a 10, 000AED Credit Card Since October of 2017 and a 220, 000aed Personal Loan in Februry 2018. How did this happen? Because of this I can not apply for a top Loan to other bank. Please update the report and remove from my Credit Report. Base on the report, it was never active but how come it was included in the report.

Mashreq Bank Complaining about service

3.5.18 at the morning 8 am I went this branch to deposits money by atm machine. Amount was only 1720 dhs but I need to changes the notes for 20 dhs. I was thinking I can change this 20 dhs notes. But this counter was refused to changes. I requested them, please. If not can I deposit from counter not from atm machine. They said No, only from atm. I said ok. I went back again to atm, unfortunately one of my 200 dhs cash was not accepted from atm. I went back to counter to changes for me please. They said no, I asked them, so how can I deposit this money? They said that time ok, fill up the form and wait. I asked them can I deposits here as well?, they replied me this counter for more amounts, not for small amount. Just fill up the form. Then, I filling up the form and, waiting the counter, she, asked me to sit and wait with so rude voice and face like commanded. I said ok, no problem but she said again same rude way. While I'm deposits money with her counter as well not looking at me and what I need to still fill up the form who telling me is Philippine lady with sanglasses from foreign counter beside of her. Both of them are totally not smilling, rude way like a commanding to the customer. This phillipino lady were smiled and talking nicely only for her nationality there was one guys. Even early morning start duty at 8 am they acting like that to customers. Not only me, there was one old Indian man as well talking like not patience.
Amal salah Ahmed Al Harthi from counter 4 who deposited for me with this phillipino lady with sanglasses from foreign counter number 5 were so rude and not patience the way they talk like a commanding to customer. Very bad service for customer service experience.

Mashreq Bank Air ticket transaction

Unfortunately I have two tickets booked on the same day from the same location under the same debit card and same passenger.

The first booking reference is : 6GGKO4 -

Once I was trying to book this flight, I had to provide a confirmation code from my mobile to the Flydubai website, which I did not do at that time. Therefore, I understood that the booking is not done since I did not approve the payment by entering the security code.

I carried on to book another flight for myself from the same card and same passenger details under the same passport.

The SECOND booking reference for the second flight is : 6XX0LM

The payment went through for the second booking immediately and I receive the confirmation since I was able to provide the security code received from my bank, Mashreq Bank to approve the payment.

After a while, I received a confirmation for the first booking reference as well which came to me as a shock.

Please find attached my passport copy and debit card (front page from which the payments have been made) for both bookings.

I would like to request cancelling my first booking which is 6GGKO4 immediately with a complete refund. It would be very kind of you since I did not even approve the payment online by providing the pin given from Mashreq Bank.

Mashreq Bank Mortgage

Dears, This is to bring your notice that I was initially given a mortgage pre approval from Mashreq. After the pre-approval I found a property and signed the MOU then given the deposit to seller and valuation cheque to bank. Valuation came same as buying price. It's now a month passed and I am still waiting for the final approval. I would request if this can be expedited as one month is a long time from valuation to final approval. Please try to understand the stress I am going through.
