I made a call to MediaCom on Saturday, November 18 at 6:02 p.m. I called because we had been without internet for 3 days. Servicemen had to come to the house and rerun lines from the pole to our house. The serviceman stated that the box at the pole needed some work which was another team member. So we waited another night. We purchased a new modem. We were able to get the new modem working. We have the modem located on one end of the house and had a router/extender on the other end. I called customer service on Saturday to get our router/extender hooked to the new modem. Customer service thanked me for our loyal service but our router/extender was no longer serviceable and is outdated. I laughed and said excuse me. I told customer service that the router/extender belonged to Media Com and since I was a loyal customer, why didn't I receive a text, email or letter stating that my router/extender was no longer serviceable. I explained that we have gone just about a whole week without internet and we have students in school that had to use laptop for assignments. He was not willing to offer any help. This is just one of many times we have had issues with Media Com.
