2 security storm doors
I purchased 2 white security doors on March 17th 2021 at 12:55pm.
the doors have only been up for 6 months and starting to rust.
I paid $209.00 for each, I would appreciate your help with this matter.
The doors will only keep getting worse . I like the doors, not the rust.

On [protected] I mailed the rebate coupon along with my original receipt. I had not heard anything so I emailed the rebate center and they told that because I sent the original receipt instead of the rebate receipt, they could not process my request. Why, after 10 weeks they had not let me know that since they had my mailing address and email address. In fact I had to make the request or it would still be up there. I emailed them my rebate receipt and they are not accepting it. Why? I feel they are dragging this out so they don't have to pay. Is this company policy? Would like a response. Thank you.

I just submitted the same complaint. I have 20 rebates I've never received. The online tracking center doesn't show 1 rebate. It's ridiculous, I could see missing a couple, but not 1?
Lack of materials in "supposed" stock colors
For years Menards carried Almond as a stock color. The siding and windows in my home were all purchased at Menards in Johnson Creek, WI. As I am a working man I have had to upgrade my home over the years due to cost. The final 7 windows in my home were Jeldwen, as are all of the others, in Almond. Well guess what? Almond is special order now. It took me 2 months to get my windows. The soffit and fascia on my home are brown, also a stock color. I purchased the roof trusses from the same location for the upstairs remodel I just completed and went to get 4" fascia in brown and guess what? They have it in white but not brown. Another special order. Jeez! get with it Menards! Oh, and wood chips and glue pressed into a 4 x 8 x 1/2 sheet should never be $47 a sheet in any circumstance. Unbelievable !
Desired outcome: Non-insane OSB price, put Almond in the store as a stock color again and get the damn L-4 fascia in brown back in the board shed.
Trying to contact customer service to file a complaint and getting commercials!!!
1. When I call customer service, I WANT customer service NOT commercials! Your 800 numbers SUCK!
2. I purchased a refrigerator from the Menards in Fremont NE on 6/19/2021. When it was being delivered the following week, the delivery guy only had a young girl for help and a regular 2 wheel dolly, NOT an appliance dolly. The side of the fridge was severely damaged before it got into the house. You can see part of the dolly used in one of the pictures attached.
However I had to take it to at least use until I could get a replacement, as they had already removed my old one.
It has now been almost 3 weeks, and I'm only told they don't have one yet.
Yet if I look online it shows one in stock, unless that's the show room model.
When I went to the store to work out something the "manager on duty" was really an jerk (I changed the word)! I ended up telling him last week that if I didn't have it this week, I'd contact my attorney and he just said, go ahead. Worst customer service I've EVER experienced from ANY company!
I just purchased over $6200.00 in wood and appliances from Menards, not to mention past purchases, and I'll NEVER purchase from you again if that is the kind of service you provide.

I went to Menards to buy mountain rocks for my patio. I was told it was 5.61 a bag. I purchased 16 bags the first time. I cannot find that receipt. On May 22nd My son purchased 26 more bags for me. This time I did not get the receipt from him until the following week and noticed the price was way higher at 7.57 a bag. I was shocked. I could not go back to the store until I had a ride. I am 73 years old and sickly. I went back on June15th and purchased 10 more bags at the original price. I ask about the higher price and was told to contact this office. I feel I was overcharged. And there is no price tags any were to let you know what your paying. There should be prices there so we can make the decision not to buy if the price is not right. I was charged1.96 more x26 bags for a overcharge of $50.96 I would take all the bags back if I could. I need more rocks but I will not until this is taken care of. Very disgusted their lack of customer service and only online responses to my inquiry regarding their “rebate”! Only reason I paid $33 for shipping for an AC was because I was receiving a $40+ rebate. A rebate is by definition the return of part of a payment. This company has very cleverly and unethically hidden in small print is a something entirely different. I live far away and WOULD NOT have ordered from them if this was clear.

Just spent over$356 for new troy bilt lawn mower model tb 210 was mostly assembled in box I added oil and gas as instructions stated the lawnmower started first try the model has front wheel drive that would not work, I talked to a dept. Manager about returning it but she said no way since gas had been added I worked for 15 years in this type of business and they could have put it in the locked garden area give me a new one and made a happy customer. I ended up driving it 30 mile to service center and they will not be able to look at for over a week then another 30 miles home and the 30 miles I drove to buy menards sucks this is one customer gone

On 4/02/21 I Terry Barney rented a pickup truck to pick up a large item and almost 2 months later I get a phone call stating that I had a miss toll which I did have a Ipass in the truck.After going up to the store in Homewood Il #3345HOMEWOOD I was told to get a printout from Illinois Tollway whichI did and it showed me going thru and was deducted from Ipass now they want me to pay a$28 miss toll fee.I think thats terrible that they want to charge me for something that I did not do.My rental Agreement # is [protected] My phone # is [protected] I feel that I am being harassed over something that I did not do so if this matter is not resolved maybe I should stop shopping at Menards my Email is terrybarney51.[protected]@gmail.com
Order and customer service
On May7th, I purchased 1 fan, and ordered 1 fan at menards.com I needed 2 fans that matched for a room. No response from my order except may charge card was charged immediately. Order tracking never moved from "ordered" status — Contact via email customer service — not much service told 2 different things eventually — will arrive late June, will arrive late August — but then I rec'd an email stating Order was in — I went to get it and it looked beatup — the box looked open they tried to convince me all was well — it wasn't. Didn't work.. I called mfg — they told me the item was discontinued. Meanwhile, you can still order, still get charged but still not have product — I understand payment for special Orders — I do not understand payment for Orders you have no intention of filling. Found a fan in Warren MI — too bad they can't ship to me — have to go thru Menards.com — you know the site where they take your money with no product. Maybe Menards is going bankrupt?

Rebates
They claim that they are powerless to reprint the 2nd section of the receipt( the rebate receipt with its 24 digit number which you must have to even get through to "Rebates International"< their strawman>-) either online or in the store. If you original order was online, the rebate receipt is an attached PDF file. If you just reprinted the original email, like me, assuming everything needed was there ( and didn't notice the PDF which requires separate printing) and that email gets deleted, then you are just s##t out of luck. If you go online to reprint the original receipt, the "rebate receipt' isn't included. How convenient for them. I think, in the future, I'll just shop at Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon or TSC. Because I didn't appreciate travelling 20 miles to a Menards just to get screwed.
Requiring masks in Garden Center and Inside of Store
I visited Menard's last week to the Garden Center only. An employee was sweeping floors around fertilizer/lawn treatment area and something in the air caused me choke / have difficultly breathing. I took off my mask to get more air and help clear my throat. I then went to checkout, still with some difficulty breathing and was not allowed to checkout until I put my mask back on. I explained my problem to your clerk but it did not make any difference, she said I had to wear my mask if I wanted to check out.
With the current status of mask requirement in the state of Wisconsin, I think your policy is overly restrictive and too inflexible. I would like you to change it to recognize individual situations / preference, at the very least. And to discontinue the mask requirement in the Garden Center at a minimum and ideally, the entire store.
Desired outcome: No mask requirement in Garden Center and entire store if possible
16x16 patio stone
I ordered 106 of the 16x16 blocks in suede
When delivered I received concrete colored gray ones
I called they said and pictures. I did. He said oh yes they do look gray. But I add some streaks of color.
They will not replace the order and if I come pick out the stone they will deliver them at another 100.00 delivery fee!
I am less than 5 min from them.
I am done with menards !

I spend approximately 10, 000 dollars a year at this store. Only to be treated like crap and harassed for not wearing a mask in the "
Outside" lumber area. I had management and 2 employees run over to me telling me I need the mask before I can buy anything. And they refused to help me I only go there for convenience. I suggest the next time you get treated like this, go fill your cart to the top with items bring it to the register and tell them you changed your mind and to have fun putting it all back.

This is third time I purchased items from Menard. I don't do lots of work myself I'm getting older so as a result I was unable to claim 11% rebate in allowed time. I think this is why you don't just give a discount when purchased like a 10% discount at purchase, because you know most people won't claim the rebate, especially for senior citizens. As a result, I probably will never step into another Menard store.

Price not honored according to sign above product
Today I purchased 2 bags of Miracle Gro potting mix 2 Cu Ft. The sign above them said they were $7.85 until May 9th (which was the day I purchased them). When I got home and check the receipt I was charged for $12.35 per bag. I went back to the store and checked the price on the sign which said $7.85. I went to the courtesy desk where I was told the sign was incorrect by the department manager. She said there wasn't any bags under the sign so she basically called me a liar. Funny but I had just come from there and there was 2 rows of the same product I purchased still under the sign plus a pallet on the floor.. I told them this was very misleading then and why would you put the wrong product under the sign. Again she basically called me a liar. I have always enjoyed shopping at Menards but this has left me wondering if Menards really values their customers. I guess I need to start shopping Home Depot or Lowes. This occurred at the Ankeny IA store.
