I recently purchased a 2023 Outlander from the dealership in Augusta GA. Since purchasing the outlander I have had issues with the ventilation system in the vehicle releasing fumes in the car. I made Mitsubishi aware of these issues immediately. I was told by the service department that this issue has been one of other owners of the 2023 Outlander but there is no resolution as of now. I have spoken with several associates of the dealership on Peach orchard road in Augusta GA. My initial contact was with Mr. Johnnie the sales person that sold me the vehicle. There was no response from him after two attempts. My second contact attempts was to Mr. James Grooms. Mr. Grooms was responsible for my paper work during the sale of the 2023 outlander. I called Mr. Grooms twice. He assured me twice that he would speak with his manager and get back with on two separate calls. He never returned a call to me. My third and final attempts before reaching out this route was to Mr. Stone. I called and spoke with Mr. Stone on 08/28/2023 @ approximately 530pm. I explained to Mr. Stone in detail the issues that I've been having with the vehicle. I told him that they had taken me out of the vehicle and put into a rental, without a date of resolution. Mr. Stone expressed that he had no knowledge of me having been out the vehicle due to Mitsubishi putting me in a rental. I told Mr. Stone that I had been in contact with Santana (The loan company) and they advised me to reach out to dealership, to take the vehicle back without penalty so that I could purchase something more safe and reliable for my family. Mr. Stone told me that there are others customers with the same issue as mine. He told me that he would call me the next day at 10am once he spoke with his boss about the issue. I never received a call. I reached out to Mr. Stone after not hearing back from him at about 1040am on 08/29. The receptionist answered and told me that Mr. Stone would get back with me in 20 minutes. I have not received a call back from Mr. Stone and it is now 0917am 08/30. I am eager to hear back from someone on the Mitsubishi team that can offer reasonable resolution to this matter. I didn't buy a brand new vehicle to have issues as if I purchased a preowned vehicle.

Desired outcome: Mitsubishi take the vehicle back without financial penalty, so that my family can purchase a different more safe and reliable vehicle.
