mr price sport - maxed terrain shorts
We bought my husband 4 Maxed Terrain Shorts @ R250 each in Newcastle.
I took the lables off and threw the slip away, as he fitted them in the shop.
I threw them in the machine for a quick rinse so he can wear them.
Cold water, no tumble dryer off course!
Well, they shrunk! All 4 are about 2 sizes to small now!
So I just threw R1000 down the drain!
Can I go exchange without a slip and lable?

On 11 November 2017 my husband and myself went to Mr Price Sport in Century City. They did not have the size of the tackies that my husband wanted but said they would get it from your Claremont branch. While we were waiting there, a black lady came to correct an item that was also brought for her from another branch.
The sales assistant wrote it up in a book and said she would phone when the apical arrived.
Needless to say, no telephone call was forth coming.
We went into the branch yesterday and spoke to a Denisha who said she knew nothing about it and the top pages had been torn out of the book so there was no tackies for us. Denisha basically told us that it is not her problem as we needed the sales assistants name.
Now we see there was no problem for the black person that had this transaction done, but we as whites were just discarded. Does Mr Price have racist issues? is it be cause we are white that we don't get the service that the blacks do? Never expected this from your store.
I have had an account for many years with you and have never skipped a payment and this is the service I get. I think it is worse than pathetic. To crown it all, we still don't have the tackies.
I would like a prompt response to this.

rude security
I had the misfortune of shopping at your Ghana branch. Got to the shop at 7:50pm with my kids to pick winter wear for our UK trip. My husband got to the door at 8:00pm and even after explaining that he's coming to pay for our purchase, he wasn't allowed in. I equally implored this door guard but he refused so we left the purchase and shop.
Every other attendant in the shop just looked on as we walked out without purchasing. No sense of customer care. There was another security man who came to tell his colleague to desist from his attitude and let my husband in but the defiant one was insistent that we could leave and that I was rude in my submission to him. This experience was very appalling and don't believe I'll be stepping in any MRP shop in Ghana again.
unlawful accounts/billing
I have spoken to numerous consultants at the customer care service and collections departments of mrp mobile. There was illegal costs being incurred on my account, and I blocked my sim card. I settled the arrears, and now, suddenly without authorisation mrp mobile, deducted 4 debit orders from my account eventhough I pay all my accounts vir eft transfers.
Mrp mobile is commiting fraud and they need to sort this out, if the do not get a response on this I will take them to court as this is unauthorised deductions. I dont get an anwer on the customer care line, it just keeps saying "all our consultants are currently busy" and I have been holding for an hour.
delayed delivery of goods ordered online
I ordered items from Mr Price's online store on the 11th of October 2017. It is now the 22 of November and I still have not received what I have ordered
I have went to the store which is under my order delivery history, which is Mr Price in Lakeside, and they were unable to help, they could not even track where my order is, the only thing they could say was that I should wait for an sms confirming that the parcel has been delivered. A month and half later!
Funny thing is, when I called into customer care they claim that my parcel did arrive at the store specified, and someone signed for it. Why was it not picked up on the system
Mr Price online store and system needs some improvement, as when I ordered online, I was not prompted/asked to put in my address, after payment was made a screen to thank me for purchase popped up. After that I tracked my order and was told that it will be delivered at Lakeside.
I am really disappointed at the service of the people who work at Lakeside, and the poor quality of the online store

no response on request to close mr price account
I first contacted Mr Price customer care via telephone wanting to close my Mr Price account. I overpaid and there is a credit on my account which I want transferred back into my account.
I have sent through all the documents which were very difficult to understand from the customer service call center. I have waited for 17 Days now to receive any communication regarding the matter. I believe only 1 person deals with this type of query? I have left 2 messages with the call center (where I had to go over the story over and over) for her to call me back to no avail and 2 emails to address [protected]@mreg.com
The point is they have my money and it feels as if Mr Price Group are making it as difficult as possible to transfer my money back to me.
I do hope I can get some resolution. Sad how you have to complain on a public form for anything to be done.

I just been to Mr Price Denlyn mall in Mamelody, was approached by a manager by the name Dingaan.
He was awfully rude in the manner that he spoke to me. I was sitting on one of the benches where they put clothes whilst on que because the ques are slow and only 2 points were working. You with my pregnant belly at 6 months, he came and asked me to stand up, I then seed of they had chairs, he responded by saying stand up before I can tell u if we have chairs or not.
I stood up, he walked away and as he walked he pointed to sum corner and said there is a chair.
My question now becomes, is that really how you treat customers?
Please head office or whoever is responsible for staff behavior, adress this issue. Such manners can't be tolerated and it's highly unacceptable.

I am absolutely appaled a few months ago while shopping at your store in mall of africa 2 ladies tried to steal my cell phone n wallet.i reported it to security however the ladies walked out and couldnt be found.today i watched the same 2 ladies in mr price trying to steal another womans wallet and phone while about 3 of your staff were watching them.its quite clear that your staff are on cohoots with the thieves as they silently watched them without doing a thing.its obvious who the thieves are as they troll the store but your security doesnt do a thing!after seeing them trying to steal from the lady i went up to a staff member to report it and she just faffed around doing nothing while the thieves exited the store!this is disgusting and i will never visit your store at mall of africa again.i have warned all my friends and family as well.

Before I even get to my story, I would like to clarify that I'm not writing here to go public, but rather getting my message across via the website as all relevant numbers are just hanging up and I'm receiving no telephonic joy.
I bought the above product for a handsome price from MRP SPORT LIBERTY MIDLANDS MALL 1ST WEEK OCTOBER & I hardly wore it yet I'm noticing that the threads along the zip are tearing! At times it actually jams the running of the zip. My concern is that if so soon it's already tearing with being hardly used, what value am I getting for the price I paid? I would expect a much longer lasting quality! I would request a full refund or a quality which would NOT give in so soon!

I would like to lodge a complaint against your Company . I have an account with you account number [protected] . I recently purchased this last Sunday 05.11.2017 and already I'm getting phone calls and threats that my name has been sent to the Credit Bureau, is that how accounts is done . Isn't this supposed to be an instalment thing ? Do you train these your call centre agents, do they know what they are doing? Are you employing qualified Debtors Clerks for these jobs. I buy today you wait for end of November to claim for your money if not then you send me a statement and request for your money . After 90 days after numerous attempts to get your money you are allowed to hand me over to the lawyers . You are infringing my consumer rights and blacklisting consumers where its not necessary . How can you be threatening me, a customer . Have I run away with your money ? Has the end of November already passed ? Today Is only the 10.11.2017 why am I getting phone calls already and threats demanding for money
Please tell your workers to do their jobs right . If these treats don't stop I'm taking this matter further

Hi mrp. Im not happy with you account. I my last pay.ebt was on september 31 which was 240 and was supposed to be the last payment l. Now i got a message that says i owe them 230 and if i dnt pay them today a further step will be taken on me. Mrpmobile is full of thieves i hate it and my lawyer is gonna take a step against them. I dnt ow them anything.

Going to 4th day. You should be ashamed charging customers for delivery - if it is this delayed. Monday and nothing has pitched, not even updated on site as to where it whereabouts is.

I bought the atthached cushion in April this year. I feel the quality that are provided to customers are of a very poor standard. These cushions have not even lasted 7 months. I bought 9 cushions and they were not cheap. Unfortunately I do not have the slip anymore but I did buy it on my account, so it will reflect on my records. My account number is: [protected]. disturbing experience
I have recently have had the most disturbing experience at Mr Price at the Chatsworth Centre. I visited the store on the 04/11/2017 after 11am to purchase a few items. I picked the items I wanted and went to the fitting rooms to try it on. As I was trying a pants I chose I noticed someone watching me. It was a Indian guy maybe in his 40s who was looking into my cubicle. I was most disgusted especially at the fact that my privacy was invaded. I came out and ask the lady working at the store if there was someone in the fitting room. She replied saying yes there was. Before I knew it, that guy was out the fitting room and pushed passed everyone. I screamed and chased after him however lost him. I even came out the store to see where he went but couldnt find him. I went to complain to the manager and requested to see their security footage only to be told that they don't have cameras in the store. I completely understand there not being cameras in the change rooms but in the store really? Mr Price needs to look in having security cameras in the store and most importantly having separate fitting rooms for men and women. I was so freaked out at what had happened. God only knows how long that man was watching me and whether he was taking pictures of me. Mr Price needs to take action and up there security and separate their fitting rooms. God forbid this happens to someone else.
mr price phoning me everyday
Everyday someone from MrPrice Head Office phone me, I did tell them I'm not interested in anything . I just want to finish my account which will be done in december . Please stop phoning me every single day! It is starting to irritate me sooooo bad . I do have a account at MrPrice Home and I am paying it so please I don't need anything else, thank you very much !
poor product quality
I am a regular mrp shopper and I recently purchased a beautiful and comfortable bra from the store. R99.99 I wore it 3 times and the elastic band has unravelled. It's upsetting when u pay for an item which will only last a few days. Bad quality! Thank goodness I did not buy the matching underwear as it's also made with the elastic band.

breach of contract due to bad service
Since early October 2017, I repeatedly report to Mr Price mobile customer service that I do not receive any call.
1) No ringtone
2) Immediate through to voice mail
3) No notice of a miss call
The consequences are as follows:
1) Loss of income, as I depend on my mobile phone in my business
2) Unnecessary panic with family and friends
Every time a complaint was made, I am told a complaint will be filed. When my cell phone number is dialed from Mr Price Mobile, my phone rings and I am able to answer the call. However, this does not apply to calls from other numbers.
I have provided several numbers and my neighbor was also talking to a staff member, explaining the problem.
During my calls, I mentioned that, if the problem remains unresolved, I will have no choice but to stop my debit order. Should Mr Price Mobile decide to blacklist me, I will prosecute in terms of financial loss and breach of contract.
To date, 28 October 2017, the issue is unresolved.

made me feel uncomfortable to shop
Firstly I'm a weekly mrp shopper and I've never experienced such service.
While I was shopping I thought I would buy some lingerie/ underwear but after 2 mrp male staff members literally stared me down and spoke about Me to each other . as a female its extremely uncomfortable to have staff members (male) look at you in a weird way while trying to shop for underwear.

I'm frequent shopper of MRP and MRP online, so when I received my online order I expected everything in order. However I found the pair of shoes I ordered to be two different sizes. I contacted the call centre and after a follow up call the agent ensured me that a staff member at the Gateway store will keep the correct shoe for me. I went after work on the evening of the 25th Oct and met a teller (Nomfundo) that lack any sort of customer service skills, I had to explain a couple of times to get her to concentrate. Eventually she went to look for the shoe and came back empty handed, she told me I must come back tomorrow (not sure if this protocol or stupidity to tell a customer to come back because you can't find something). She then went to her supervisor (Thobeko) who told her to tell me to re-order it online - this got be wondering if the staff at the store had any customer training. Eventually he came to assist and I explained that I'm here to fetch a shoe that was said to be kept for me, after a fifteen minute disappearing act he came back empty handed and told me the stock room clerk finished for the day and locked the store room! He worked 09:00 - 17:00 so basically I needed to come in those hours even though the store was open till 19:00 mon-thurs. After 40 minutes in the store, I returned the two wrong footed shoes and walked out utterly disappointed.

Almost a month ago I placed an order. About a week later, whilst waiting for my order to arrive I got informed its cancelled as you have no stock and Maria Francis sent me a gift voucher. Firstly I was upset that your system processed an order for an item that was out of stock. Secondly I was apprehensive regarding the patronizing tone of the cancellation and the fact that you just send me a gift voucher without giving me a choice in the matter. I asked a lot of questions via email regarding just that however my questions went unanswered.
I requested a few times that Maria cancel the gift voucher and reimburse my cash as its now a matter of principle for me, and I do not want to purchase from Mr Price Sport again. Especially never ever online as I pointed out this is the worst online shopping experience I have ever encountered. To this day I still have not received my R100 it takes 7-14 days I'm told. However my payment to you was instantly. When I ask I'm met my unfriendliness and sarcasm. For the life of me I cannot believe how you have handled and are still handling this situation. I'm a really keen online shopper, and I have never ever been subjected to such unprofessionalism.
It takes you weeks to pay back a measly R100. You decide on my behalf how I want to be reimbursed…had you given me the option I would have probably taken the voucher, but like I said it's the manner in which you handled this situation. To this day no manager has phoned me to explain how it happened that your system processed an order for an out of stock item in the first place. I have requested so many times to have a manager phone me to no avail.

I went to mr price store at mall of the north on 7/10/2017 to purchase a few items. I was assisted by Koena who asked if I would like my slip to be e-mailed to me which I agreed to.Days later I decided to axamine my slip where I saw an item "A man's skinny jean" that I did not purchase. I went back to the store & I was assisted by the manager Benda.We waited for about 20 minutes while she was investigating, she kept us waiting & did not keep updating us while investigating, after some time she told me that she has found the denim that was on my statement & that I will be refunded, which they did. I asked her what happened & she assured me that she will find out & update me. I am still waiting. My problem is that how did this even happen? Why was this not picked up if stocktaking was done? I believe that I am not the first person to experience this.The cashiers are scamming us & purchase items they want from our accounts hoping that we wont see a thing.
