I have been so frustrated with the customer service at Multichoice, that I know revert to writing this down, as I cannot explain this issue one more time to someone who works shifts and finds it impossible to keep their word, and get back to me as they ALL promise.

In March 2006, I disconnected my service with MultiChoice, as I moved to Mozambique for an unknown period. On 27 Fear I asked a friend, to phone Multichoice on my behalf, using my DSTV number, to inquire re the reconnection fees,(monthly and yearly) She did this, and concluded this conversation in saying that we will come back to confirm if we wanted to pay for this on monthly or a yearly basis. Thus not confirming it during the call.

On 27 March, to my shock and surprise I saw that the amount of R 858.93 was deducted by Multichoice. I was horrified. And then the terrible journey began to try and sort this out with your call centre. I phoned on 2/4/2007, spoke to Henri, see above ref number. All he did was to say the call will be retreated and he will get back to me before the end of the week, On Thursday I called just to find that nothing was done.

On Tuesday 10/4/2007 I called again (even though Multichoice said they would call me back. ) I spoke to Nicky, she escalated the problem to the complains manager. Later in the week I called again, and spoke to Marilynn Collins, to whom I had to again explain the full problem. She said that someone listened to the call, and that they said my friend requested reconnection. ON the same day Henri called to say that he did not listen to the call, someone else did.

I now requested to listen to the tape myself, and asked Marilynn to arrange for this for Sat 21/4/2007 at 09h00. On Monday 16/4/2007 I got a message from her to say that they had the tape at the front desk on 14/4/2007 --- I was amazed.

On 17/4 I called and asked to speak to Shawane, he actually listened to me, and even indicated that he can understand why someone might have misunderstood this request as a request for reconnection. I FELT HOPEFUL. He promised to make an appointment for me for 21/4/2007 at 10h00 and would get back to me

I WAITED

19/4/2007 I called again, asked to but put through to a complaints manager, as Shawane was not on duty, who would call me back within the hour, as the problem has been escalated (I now think this just means, the complaint has been filed in the dustbin)

When at 16h00 I still have not been contacted by Multichoice (within the hour she said) I called again, and asked the call centre person who answered Peter, to just put me through to a complaints manager, I got connected to Johannes Nkabinde, who said someone apparently did try and get hold of me. I however had no missed calls from anyone, and received no messages on my answering service.

He promised to again forward an email to Marilynn and Shawane and Nicky to get back to me to confirm the appointment for Saturday 21/4/2007.

I feel as a customer, that I have no value to you, that when a problem arise, you seem to think that it is my problem, and my perception is that I as a customer has no value to you. This saddens me and at the same time makes me really really angry. You have a customer complains department, yet I as a customer feels that you really do not care enough to help me. The experience I had with you really just makes me wonder if I want to be your customer. Should I not spend my money elsewhere.

I am in anticipation to hear the outcome of this issue, I would be most amazed if someone calls me back tomorrow.

I've disconnected my explora on the 30th September it scheduled to cancel services on 02 October however my balance its still R 835.49 instead of R 365 of my single decoder . Do see the attachment for proof

I am writing as I am disgusted that DSTV will be broadcasting content for the LGBT community. I don't think it is correct to have this type of content on a pay tv broadcaster.

I spoke to a woman named Asanda she had such a bad attitude and when i asked her why she has such a bad attitude she told me it the way she speaks and she never even apologize which shocked me

We have an error stating there is bad weather and thus all channels aren't playing. All of this whilst skies are clear. For all the amounts we pay DSTV you would think this could be easily resolved but we still get no joy either online or from the call centre! Very poor from such a big organisation!

Please discontinue running The Nun trailer (PG 16) during MasterChef Australia on channel 110 ((Vuzu). Families with young children are watching this series and this trailer is very graphic.

From 15;05 to 15;15 dstv soweto tv channel 251 winnie khumalo interview no sound just pictures no apologies but we pay to watch these .Its very shambolic in our own country .

My explorer gave up due to heavy rainfall damaging our ceiling and leaking through. I had taken insurance 2 months prior and was told now when trying to claim that there is a waiting period and i must wait until November with no decoder to claim. This is really unacceptable and disappointing.

My name is T Buthelezi, i went to check my decoder at Lusizomultichoice agengcy -Umlazi, when i got there staff were very very rude, POS not working and they dont have change for cash, one lady was lije "were not train to do that which WORSTFORM OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, PLEASE do something so so annoyed as if they doing favor.

Living in Ghana since good 20 years and a member with MultiChoice since 20 years watching all this years Indy car & French Liga & Italy Liga and now is gone an still paying the same amount Hmmmmm
Is a sad Choice of your company to do so

DSTv has always lacked in displaying live boxing events and it should be time now that DSTv adds the sky sports boxing channel to their channel list as people pay a large sum of money each month for a service that lacks variety.

I called multichoice 10/11/ 2017 to cancel the insurance on my account.my service was disconnected on 07/10/18 due to "short payments was doing" but was told that the insurance will be cancelled! They now blame each other for not doing their job.
I want my money to be refunded.

I paid 7000 more than i should have, its been 7 days since initial request to be refunded. Everytime i call the call centre i dont get clarity or answers why i havent been refunded. There is also no manager or other department i can contact to fidn out what exactly is going on!

Why are you showing us foreing movies ons catch up. Whe are paying alot of money each month and think whe deserve movies that whe can understand, its irritating to read the read the subtitles. Show some beter movies man there's thousands out there!

It's about time you fixed the information bar and times of programmes on the explorer. You can't tape programmes due to incorrect times and wrong programme info. It's been like this for months now. Fix it

On the 8th of July 2017 at 20:00 to 20:59 you are aired and advertised Harley and The Davidsons as NEW show on channel 121 and even on screen showed as NEW Episode even though it was a repeat of Season one.

This is really false advertisement and sale of product.

You guys absolutely do not know what movies to show. You show Harry Potter 1 -4 but even after I upgraded to premium thinking you would show 5 - 7 I still have not seen it on Tv. Do you need assistance with setting up movies for the public to "enjoy"? Seriously I will help you

Why do you guys just switch off registered paid users when you feel like it!
Ask Ton Vosloo why he decided to do this! He is the boss
Is he scared that people people misuse the service, in the mean time I cant see ANY PROGRAMS which I have paid for!
You must fix your systems!

Good day

Why are there movies shown on DSTV but its only 8min long...

Also so many movies and series being shown over and over.

Payments are getting extremely high and unaffordable.

DSTV Mobile wow how can there be more movies and more series on as what DSTV catch up have. How fair is that.

This is getting people ripped off!

I pay R929 / month to watch DSTV, The above program is in a foreign language, I cannot enjoy a movie that I have to read everything being said. This is NOT what I pay for, The End, short and sweet, FIX IT !

DSTV advertising campaign with the 'tag line' of 'said no xxxxxxx ever' must be the most irritating advertisement that I have ever, in my life of 60 odd years, heard or seen. Irritating to the point where the television gets switched off and never gets switched on agin, just incase the advertisement is repeated - which it is !

Please do something about weekend prime time slots and stop with repeating weekdays staff during prime time. Please do the same thing your doing on Sunday for Saturday from 18h00 to 21h00. short movies on Saturday at 19H30 are boring they deserve to be on mzansi biskop. we are paying too much money for this.

1.No toll free numbers. For every query you on the phone average 20 min. You as a customer has to pay for the incompetent employees.
2. Put systems and services in place which doesnt work.

It happens each year I pay my annual subs - pay upfront for eleven months and supposedly get 12 months credit. Now my company's guesthouse has also been defrauded by the Multi-Choice Malawi Office in Blantyre. What a scam and I wonder who they are passing that credit on to?

Why would you ever think that Mr Bean live is a good children show? Please remove it from Boomerang channel or any other one for that matter. The animated version are also on all the time. Please show more variety. If this is not the place to file a complaint please refer me to the correct place. Thanks

This service is not working properly. Sometimes a show is on catchup then just as I want to watch it it dissapeared. Then it appears on catchup again but at a later episode. So are you supposed to follow a story line. And as we all know dstv is expensive

Could you please advise why the above match will not be screened on SuperSport over the weekend? I feel it's unfair as you are continuously rescreening old rugby matches, movies and other sporting events instead of live matches. We pay almost R1000 a month for the same thing over and over and I feel it's quite disgusting.
