worst customer service/website
I received this pre-paid MasterCard and tried to find out what retailers accept the card on their website and there was no option for "Card Features", so I called the Customer Service line and they were rude and unhelpful. They said they would email me a list of vendors, which I have never received. Also, it took almost a month to receive this worthless card...I will inform my employer of these issues. Hopefully they will not use this service in the future.

prepaid card funds being held without reason

- An incomplete charge of $93.61 by Home Depot was cancelled on 10/2/19. Confirmed with Home Depot that it was never completed and cancelled on that day.
- I was initially told that posting back to the card would take 3-5 business days.
- Called 10/10/19 since funds were not returned to the card - was told it was 8 days and the credit should be posted by the end of the day.
- Called on 10/16 to inform myprepaidcenter.com that the funds for the card still was not credited.
- I was told to wait until 30 days, no reason provided, and and that they can not escalate until 30 days. I asked why it could not be escalated at this time as 14 days to hold a person's electronic funds seems longer than normal already. Request to escalate was denied as the internal process is to wait until 30 days before it can be escalated.
I would like the all funds returned to my card immediately so that it can be used for a pending purchase which is now waiting.

can't reach customer service as they are all automated
i had a card that expired but on the website it said that i can get another one, however when i try to call for one i can't put my card info.
some info:
- my card is a non refillable master card
-it expired in 08/19 however i tried multiple times to contact customer service but the automated messages never proceeded after entering the card information
- all i am asking for is another card
the finds on the card are 70$

I have the same issue. I have 2 cards with $100 each on them. They expired 4/19. I have been trying for months to get replacement cards, but I am unable to get through to a person.
rebate visa card
The rebate visa card I received from nvidia with 20$ expired. Automated system via web site and 877-610-1075 number is not able to locate the card. The FAQ says:
"the funds do not expire. You may request the remaining funds after the card expires by calling Customer Service"
But there are no other options to contact customer support! Please return my 20$ I had on this card.

called 3 different numbers, all automated none recognize my card
I already activated the card and used it once. I was ready to use it again, but wanted to check the balance. I logged in with my username and password and received an error that my card could not be found. I looked at the card and realized it was 3 months past the expiration date. I read the FAQ on expired cards. Per the FAQ, if I have an expired card, the funds are still available and I can simply call the number on the FAQ.
I called and followed the automated prompts to input all of the card info. Automated system couldn't find the card and prompted me to try again, which I did. Same result. No option to transfer to a customer service rep. Just an endless loop of automated prompts.
I located 2 more numbers and all provided the same result: automated prompts, failure to find card, no option to transfer out of the loop.

My rebate Visa card expired. I called the number posted on the website (1-877-610-1075). The automated attendant was unable to locate my account using the information from the Visa card. I would just like a new card. This service provider has a complete lack of customer service. These reward cards are terrible. I miss the good ole' days when they sent you a rebate check...

Today I went to login to my account on MyPrepaidCenter.com, first attempt didn't work, so I went and requested my username, and then to change my password. I received a successfully changed password message and then proceeded to login to my account, first attempt failed, second attempt failed, third attempt typed it in really slow to ensure it was correct still failed. Eventually I am locked out of my account. Since my card is a virtual card that is listed within the actual site I can't call any cardholder service.
I was able to get into my account. Consider this issue resolved.
I have contacted Kent Patterson, he contacted me back as for my card information which I informed is in my account which is locked. After this reply he has yet to respond.

I received a $100 prepaid MasterCard. When I tried to activate it at my prepaid center.com I received a message that I need to call customer service. I called the number on the back of my card and once I entered the information my call was disconnected. I then called a number found online and it said I have no balance remaining and said to write to customer service in Kentucky. I simply want to activate this card. This service is unacceptable and not user friendly.

I received a $35 card in the mail as a rebate offer from IDT Energy. I tried activating it online, only for the site to tell me that I had to activate it through the phone number on my card. I tried this, followed all the steps, only for to be hung up on by the automated machine after trying to do this multiple times. I entered all information correctly, and my card does not expire until February 2020. I've tried calling THREE different numbers now to get help, only to be met with automated messages that say my card is expired, and that I can WRITE TO AN ADDRESS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. How the hell do I activate my card? Whats the point of this even being offered as a "reward" if it's entirely useless? Help!

Our non-profit organization Bluff Country Long Spurs (NWTF) bought 3 guns Thomson Center 6.5 Creedmore & received a reward debit card from Smith & Wesson as a rebate. I went to redeem the reward for a youth activity on Sept. 6th & found out that it expired the end of Aug. 2019. We did not know there was an expiration date or we otherwise would have used before. Can we get another card for the same amount?

I received a prepaid $40 Mastercard from AEP Ohio. I tried to activate on myprepaidcenter.com but the site said there was a requirement to call the number on the back of the card. Upon calling, I followed all the prompts for card information and there was a message that I would be connected following a brief silence. Then there was a message saying thanks for contacting and goodbye. I tried 3 times and got that same hangup each time. All I want is to get the card activated so I can use before it expires. It is only valid thru 11/19 so time is limited.

I was issued this card through AEP for rebates from my purchase of Energy Star appliances. I cannot activate the card on the website. I registered for an account but every time I try to log back in, it says my password is incorrect. Every time I call the number on the back of the card, it disconnects after I enter the card information. I have searched their website for alternative contact information to no avail. The card is denied every time I try to use it anywhere. So, apparently I'm out $65.

Got this card for "being a good patient and having preventative tests done" by my BCBS Advantage Plan. A true rip off. After reading the volumes of rules that came with it I got leery and decided I didn't want it. Phoned the number suggested to return card and got a recorded voice asking for the number of the card to be returned. As soon as I put the number in, the voice congratulated me on activating the card and hung up! Nice! Now I have another thing to remember and deal with. Major scam...don't get involved.

I received a rebate card provided from a tire purchase at Discount Tire. I created an account when I activated the card. Now their website won't acknowledge the password, will let me create a password but then won't accept the new one (tried twice). I'm trying to check the balance on the card but it won't let me. The service is a joke and Discount Tire should be ashamed they're affiliated with such an unscrupulous company! The card expires tomorrow and my bet is that the funds will expire before they can resolve the problem bases on other complaints I see here.

I am unable to register my cards on-line. Registration denied . Can't activate. Refers me to the phone number. The phone number consistently disconnects at the final step. There are no alternative phone numbers or email addresses. There isn't anything more to write really. This is extremely frustrating and I don't believe this is a reputable company. I plan to complain the the Better Business Bureau unless I receive a reply from MyPrepaid Center within 24 hours. I received 20 $25.00 cards as a gift. Can you imagine my frustration?

I have a prepaid card that was issued by tires pro for $50.00 and when I went to use it I saw that it had expired on 5/19(which you need a magnifying glass to see as the date is so small on the card and I am a senior)
I called the number 877-610-1075 on the back of the card and they would not talk to me as the tire place issued the card in my husbands name so I called back and after my husband was home and gave them my name/address/phone/email/card number/three digit code on the back as they requested I was told once the date has passed they cannot do anything-I was just out the $50.00. Why not tell me that in the beginning seeing as I did explain that the card had an expired date in the beginning of the call

home depot rebate card
Went to use the $40 that was loaded on the card at a restaurant and it was declined when I used it (it was activated the day prior online and showed a $40 balance). Since then I have had a hold on the card for $40 (pending) since 6/17/2019 from the restaurant which it was declined. It is 7/14/2019 and myprepaidcenter.com is still showing the transaction that was declined as "pending" and a zero balance on the card. So apparently this company has a history, based on these complaints and my experience as well to decline purchases and people can't use the card appropriately. My question is who is pocketing all of the money from these unused transactions? It's a complete scam.

Received a Visa card with $70 credit after mailing in a cooper tire rebate. Realized the card had expired after I went to use it. Contacted a representative who said another card was to be reissued to me. However, I never recieved a new card and there are no records of my claim. The representative stated the funds were no longer available and I wouldn't recieve a replacement card.

Received a redemption code for $10 virtual prepaid Mastercard for a vine purchse made at Target. Set up a user profile. Entered the redemption code on MyPrepaidCenter.com which prompted me to enter my address information then accept the terms and agreements. The problem is that it will not let me check off that I accept. I click and nothing...hit redeem and am told to accept agreement, but cannot click the box. Quite frustrating.

I received a $300 (I think) reward card from Sprint when I referred people to them. Right after that, my Mom was diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time. I was obviously distracted by doctor's appointments, treatments, my Mom's wight loss, etc.. I did not notice that the card had an expiration date because I was busy caring for my Mom. When things settled down, I then realized that the card had expired in 04/19. I called the number and asked if the card could be re-issued due to the circumstances. I was told NO.
I think that is a horrible way to treat people. I have seen other posts from people whose cards expired right after they were issued, and the company does not care. Seems like a scam to me! Do NOT do business with these people.
