Recurring Payments
I have been a member of netflix for over ten years and I had the monthly membership fee of 8.99 automatically removed from my bank account on the 27th of each month. On the 27th of this month Aug 2021 my bank shut off my debut Card. I gave them a call and they informed me that because of some suspicious activity that my account was frozen. I was then told that netflix had made five attempts to withdraw fund for different amounts $10.96, $22.57, $20.75, $20.15 & $22.57.and I was advised to cancel my debut card which I di do. Now the membership for was for $8.99 and each failed attempt to withdraw the membership funds was for more than $8.99 which is why that my bank wouldn't allow the funds to be withdrawn. Netflix cancelled my account. on Saturday 08/278/2021 and was told by Customer Service justified these five attempts to withdraw more that the #8.99 membership fees. Everything was fine with the payments being made automatically until Netflix decided to withdraw more than the $8.99 membership fees. Without contacting me so that I could authorize it. By netflix cancelling my account for failure to pay makes my credit score go down. I should have been notified prior to raising my monthly membership fees and I could have notified my bank of the change in the monthly payment fee or cancelled my membership.
Desired outcome: reinstate me with a guarantee that no future attempts will be made to overcharge me without notifying me prior the withdrawal being made.
Want a tv show back on Netflix
In my opinion there is a huge community that LOVES the show "The Office" and now that it has been taken off I've fell into a deep depression. Please put it back on.
Desired outcome: The office back on Netflix
Inconsistency in monthly billing
Hi,
I have been a Netflix premium subscriber from January 2021. I bought some Netflix gift cards and redeemed those for my monthly billing. I redeemed enough gift cards to cover my premium plan till January 2022. I did this because I had to go out of the USA and visit my home country - Bangladesh, where Netflix gift cards are not that available. As my plan started, I started noticing from the month of March 2021 that my plan is not billing appropriately. In some months I was billed a fraction of the total monthly bill of $19.47 and the next month, I was charged with the same $19.47 which interprets that the billing system is taking away more money from my Netflix credit than it is supposed to be. My premium plan was supposed to endure till January 2022 but now as per current billing details, my plan is only for December 2021. I have an assumption that if this goes on with my billing, my Netflix premium plan will be no longer than November. I think that I have been cheated over the billing system and thus I would like to file a complaint against Netflix billing system and would like to request the appropriate authority to look into this matter.
For convenience, I have attached my current billing copy and a conversation with the Netflix customer support person who ensured me that my Netflix premium plan will long for January 2022 (which is obviously not as per my billing info). I marked pg. 2 and 3 of the conversation details to bring into notice the variance between the statement of the customer support representative and my billing info.
Thank you.
Tanvir Rahman
Desired outcome: Solution of the problem and proper billing details
Netflix
I am paying for Netflix and too often when there is no good TV to watch I go to Netflix and find that oh great no Netflix either. Why is this happening are you deciding how much Netflix I am allowed to watch, is it something to do with Netflix making, if things dont improve I will cancel the account.
Desired outcome: Better performance.
Movie: Boss Level does not show last scene.
In the 2021 movie "Boss Level" the plot follows tough guy, cool.
What isn't cool is that the last 12 seconds of screentime are missing. A scene, in itself, is missing. Where the movie cuts off it should keep going for just a while longer. I simply don't understand why the movie does not feature the ENDING of the movie as seen/described by others.
Desired outcome: Just fix this, add the missing scene I and other people pay to watch as to not leave your them confused.
why are there so little environmentally aware items translated to hebrew ?
the movie "cowspiracy" interests me very much but has no hebrew subtitles and containts so much vital info.
I noticed the same also about many other environmental titles.
please coud you get this done quickly?
thanks,
or sarid, a customer
Desired outcome: more environmental items translated and showing, more environmentally aware material
Movie choices
I am an African American woman. I think Netflix should show more movies about the African American slavery experience. I watch a lot of shows on there about the Holocoust. It is very interesting to me. However, I would enjoy watching some things pertaining to slavery, to talk with my kids about the disaster that had taken place on American soil. Netflix does offer a selection to Black Lives Matter shows on the movement. To me it just cushions the surface. Netflix needs to dive deeper into our own real American history.
Produced films
Some of the series and movies for Netflix are fine but others leave much to be desired because of (1) unnecessary vulgarity, (2) unnecessary scenes featuring gratuitous sex that border on porn, (3) insulting language toward God (deity) which is offensive to everyone from all the major faiths. Some movies/series could be viewed by near entire families by removing certain scenes and language that do not add anything to the content.
Desired outcome: More sensitivity and regard for youths

Programs
I have seen an ad on YouTube for a new doco coming out on august 3rd called top secret ufo projects declassified. Very disappointed to learn that this is not being streamed on Netflix in the uk. Is there a reason That America gets all the interesting stuff and we the Uk get average ones? Netflix is by far the best thing around for years but ehh can't every doco film or the show be streamed in all countries and in all states? if I'm honest the past 3 years there's been nothin new and exciting on the uk one. Hope one day someone uploads it on YouTube and I can see it then. Seems to be the way to go now. Maybe something to think about. Thanks Netflix for being great to some! ☺️
Desired outcome: Every country can access the same tv shows films documentaries etc
Customer service
I have recently decided to change my payment plan with Netflix through my telco account. I got a shock when I received a text message from my telco company that I have 'used up rm73 of my credit limit'. I contacted Netflix immediately through online chat services and they responded fast. Like many online customer service I've been experiencing these days, customer service personnels are trained to give standard replies and just copy and paste a few more times if customer does not understand them, assuming customers all knew every technical terms they used. And the frustrating part is that, I get strings of reply before I can finish typing a question. and that created some confusion too. After a long string of questions and answers, I finally understand what the fee charges are about. This is the answer I kept getting,
'Authorizations are requests sent by Netflix to your financial institution to verify that your payment method has sufficient funds. These requests are not charges, but in some cases they may affect the available account balance.'
Firstly, my telco account is not a 'financial institution', secondly, what exactly is this 'authorization' that the staff kept coining? Is Netflix allowed to authorise (felt more like 'demanding') forward payment in such manner without first asking for my consent or at least, ask whether I would accept this payment condition.
At the end of the chat, I decided to terminate my Netflix account, not out of anger, but simply because I do not respect such kind of business transaction. I did not expect this from Netflix really, I used to think very highly of their business model.
My account was upgraded without getting my(the account holder’s approval).
My account was upgraded when my sons decided to watch on separate screens. All they needed to do was press continue to upgrade the account I started. No one from Netflix asked me if I wanted to upgrade my account. Netflix just automatically deducted the upgraded account price from my direct debit then sent me an email to say that at my request I was now on the premium level.
Very upset with Netflix for not getting the account holders permission(my permission).
You should send an email asking me if I want to go to premium and if you do not hear back from me, assume I do not want the upgrade!
Very unethical.
Will be moving to another provider.
Will be informing all my friends of Netflix's unethical behaviour and that they should not trust Netflix.
Content
We dropped our membership because of, well, the crap Netflix forces on their members. It is obvious you and your Content Division are producing shows for the 12-16 audience. And sadly you pander to that demographic also.
We have chosen to watch British shows written by British writers and acted by British actors. Frankly their quality level is far superior to that of Netflix. In spite of what your company thinks there are a lot of adults out there.
Sincerely
G.R. Egoville
Desired outcome: Hire some qualified writers or writers over 30.
Meghan Markle upcoming show - Pearl?
I have a lot of respect for the British Monarchy, but none for Meaghan Markle. I am VERY disappointed with Netflix for making a deal with the devil, just to make money? You are playing with the future of the Monarchy and I can't believe your company bought into her games. She has no proven talent, so what is the draw? It has to be the Sussex name. Disgusting choice of programming.
Homosexual content
Why do you think that it is that hetero people get an uncomfortable feeling when a couple gay dudes suddenly start doing gay stuff on one of your shows? And don't say that this uncomfortable feeling among heteros doesn't usually happen because it does. It's not because we are gaybashers or hate people with mental disabilities. No, it is because millions of years of evolution has naturally implanted the squirmy feeling in normally thinking animals, that trying to have sex with the same gender is purely wrong, doesnt work. This is just part of something that disturbed people today for some reason wish to destroy called natural order. For whatever reason there is a concerted effort by those in the media/entertainment business to attack normalcy and goodness. I say goodness as following natural order is good and following unnatural order is bad. This is the case. We followers of natural behavior do not want to have gay sex thrown in our faces every time we turn on the tv to relax. If you're gay, fine, your gay. If you're able to function in society with such a disorder even better. But saying that being gay is normal is just wrong, a lie to our children, telling them it's ok to take the ez way out of their teenage struggles, making them spineless cowards. Just as order is a good thing disorder is a bad thing and homosexuality is a disorder, a mental break from natural behavior and should be treated as such.
Stop thwarting normal, natural order in the name of social justice. It is wrong and we who accept all truths no matter if they're ugly or not know this and say so. Feel sorry for gay people, be respectful to gay people, buy dont tell our children that being gay is ok. It is not and should be addressed as a mental illness which it is. A curable one but a disorder nonetheless. Enough already.
Desired outcome: a vast reduction in homosexual behavior on Netflix.
Sex education
Given the inclusive nature of the show, I was shocked when cigarettes were, and are refered to as "[censored]s".
If you are not aware homosexuals became known as "[censored]s" because they were bundled together like a loose stack of wood "[censored]s"and tied together for burning. A bundle of wood, a pack of smokes, and the burning homosexuals alive should not have a place in any society or on such a positive and extremely well made show.

Desired outcome: Eliminate the word [censored]s in reference to cigarette
Television shows
When I first purchased Netflix, I was under the assumption they would focus on classic television shows i.e. Adam 12, Dragnet, Andy Griffith and so on. But Netflix has disregarded the older generation in favor of the LGBTQ generation. Us older baby boomers don't give a rats [censored] about the Kardashians. What about the values and lessons the classic shows taught when we were young. The values that still dwell in us nowadays. I'm so disappointed with Netflix it makes me want to hurl. Bring back Classis T.V. PLEASE!
It seems today that all we see is violence in movies and sex on tv! Where are those good old fashioned values on which we used to rely?
Anyway. You can request films through a link on their help center page.
Canceling Manifest
What a horrible huge mistake. I finally find a good series to watch and you cancel. You have tons of garbage to sift through and very seldom do I find anything. Bring back Manifest. If your subscribers can't binge watch decent material your movies aren't good enough to keep us paying. Kominsky Method was great and it's ending understandable. This isn't
no season update
bruv y no season 4 sword art online me bored now..
Star ratings
I have a Roku 1, that still has Netflix star ratings for its shows. However, the star ratings keep changing at a moments notice. I select a five star rated show, but then it's a four star show on its info page. I start watching the show, and when I finish...it's now a three star rated show.
Is this just a come on by Netflix to get you to watch? A glitch? Or are the star rating meaningless anyway? I know the star ratings have been discontinued on certain streaming devices. I am much preferring Prime video now, and 80% of my viewing is there.
Desired outcome: Clarity
