In about May of this year (2023) I realised that I was paying for Norton needlessly as it came free with my BT internet. Being an Ancient of Days and rather concerned about losing all my Logins in Password Protector, I asked Norton for help setting it up. They sent round a so-called expert who installed the BT version of Norton on my PC. He was then asked to do the same for my wife's and my android mobiles and to be sure to import the passwords from my old account onto my PC and the two mobiles.
He eventually pronounced the job done and wiped my old Norton from my PC. However, the next day I discovered a) that the passwords had not been imported to my PC and that my mobile still had the old (now cancelled) version of Norton.
Somehow I can still access my passwords on my mobile but can find no way of migrating them to my PC.
I have at least twice attempted to get help from the website speak to an advisor system. They couldn't do it either. Today the chap really tried hard but eventually cut me off.
Clearly you don't vet your local-area advisors and the deal with BT needs to be sorted out properly. You also need to recover my old logins and passwords for me.
Claimed loss: Time, security and convenience
Desired outcome: Recover my logins and passwords from my old version of Norton 365 and install them on my new Norton version on my PC. Also ensure that our mobiles are running the new, working version of BT-Norton.
