Refund for Cancelled Flights
My flights to and from New Zealand were cancelled over 6 months ago. I keep contacting Opodo who say that they are waiting on the refund from the Airline. The Airline say that they have refunded the cost of the flights. Opodo won't listen to my complaint.

On July 9, 2020 a request was made with OPODO for a refund back to my account for the purchase of a ticket to Montego Bay, Jamaica. I was informed the refund could take up to 6 months which initially I had no issue with due to the Pandemic. However, since such times OPODO has both taken down, and disconnected their contact number from the website and have left me to deal with an automated system which constantly gives the very same information. Upon finding a contact number recently I was able to contact a person within OPODO who has been giving me false updates as to getting back to me within 72 hours but never did. I reach to them again and was told the refund would be in my account at a certain time with an update email I should receive after our conversation, which also never happened. I am now under the belief OPODO is attempting to scam me out of my refund and I now wish to make a formal complaint against them in order to resolve and recover my money..
Desired outcome: The desired outcome to which I would like is simply having my account updated with my refund.

I paid for three flight tickets to Cancun for October 26. These flights were impacted by coronavirus and were cancelled by the airline.
In January, Opodo had refunded 2 of the three tickets.
I have been calling regularly ever since...following up on the refund for the third ticket, valued $1214.50.
My problem is never resolved over the phone.
It's now been more than six months since this flight was cancelled and I believe this is an unreasonable amount of time to wait.
I am now living under financial stress, and desperately need this money back

No refund after 5 months and terrible customer support
I booked a flight for my partner to visit Zurich to fly on December 5th.
The airline cancelled the flight.
I have been trying to get a refund ever since.
On 4th December after being completely dissatisfied with your Customer Support I lodged a formal complaint via their contact form. At this point all I wanted was an email confirming the cancellation and that I would get a refund. You failed to deliver this even when I was specifically promised it on a call.
6th December I received a reply for my complaint apologising and saying it was passed to the "relevant department" and "We will be in touch soon" I never heard back on the complaint.
In December after several calls I was told I would get a refund (I have an email dated 7th Jan when confirmation was finally provided other than verbally, a month and 2 days after the flight was due).
I have heard nothing since so I made contact last week (4th May) via the chat app, the guy I chatted to seemed very helpful and said he was on it and I shouldn't worry. I asked to hear back within a day as it has taken so long for the refund (and KRIS said there was no record of a refund), he said I would hear back within 1 to 2 days. I again have heard nothing.
I followed up after a week and could not get through to a person this time, the auto bot "helper" KRIS blocked this and just kept telling me a refund was in progress.
I complained via the very un-user friendly contact form and was sent a reply after a couple of days telling me the refund was put in on the 5th of May, it will take 4 months and telling me to be more patient.
They completely ignored the points I made about the refund first being put in in December and lack of contact. I replied but have had no response since.
NB I have several times in December been left with no returned contact despite being promised it, and had to chase up by phone several times from my mobile (which was expensive) as I wanted confirmation that it was cancelled and I would get a refund. The website was very unclear and no help whatsoever.
I have also now lodged 3 complaints via the contact form which was specified as the correct channel to lodge a formal complaint (despite which there is no complaint option).
My communications have been basically ignored, a throwaway reply is given and then no other action or communication is ever given or taken. Despite the fact I have asked specific questions or made specific points, they are ignored.

My return ticket with reference number [protected] was purchased from opodo with Turkish airline on September 2020. This was cancelled rebooked and cancelled again. I then requested a refund. It's been over 8 months and each time I call the customer center number some Indians pick and give the same robotic response that the airline has not refunded to opodo. When I ask the airline they say they have refunded. It seems opodo is doing this to a lot of people as a fraudulent scheme to defraud victims. I booked my flight with Opodo and they booked it with EasyJet. I was supposed to fly last April of 2020. EasyJet cancelled that flight and refunded me a part of the payment which I made as I changed the booking. They refunded Opodo a total of £125.96.
Opodo refunded me directly to my account on 27 April 2021 but only part of £125.96. There's no breakdown whatsoever on how much they refunded back to my account but as per conversion, it was short of around $40 plus dollars.
They are no longer replying to my emails. I'm thinking that someone got my $40 plus for lunch or something else.
Desired outcome: Refund me the full amount not a part of it.
Refused entry
My flight from Lisbon to CDG Paris then to JFK then to Seattle. You guys booked my flights and I received all boarding passes in Lisbon by an Air France representative. Flew to Paris and got refused entry on a Delta Airline because I had a Canadian passport. Had to stay in a hotel in Paris and book a flight next day at my own cost.
As an online travel agency this information should have been provided to me and Air France should not have provided boarding passes for all flights.

Refund request for flight cancellation not processed
I book a flight from LHR to GCK using Opodo on December 2019 for May 2020 flight, due to COVID the flight has been cancelled by the airlines.
I have requested a refund since I heard about the cancellation. I have contacted Opodo via Phone and Twitter and give them the details, Opodo response is pretty much agree that I am entitled to the refund, but it has been almost a year and I haven't received any refund. I have asked Opodo multiple times, but the response is pretty much the same that Opodo are "contacting the airlines" and I will be updated, it has been about 8 months and I still haven't receive my refund yet. And I haven't receive any updates about anything.
The flight is on 16 May 2020 and return flight 6 june 2020
This meant that I'm currently down £1147 for a flight that has been cancelled. I am planning to book another flight this year but I can't, because I don't have the funds.

I bough 12 moths ago 3 flight tickets from Opodo, Reservation No. [protected] departure Apr 08 2020 - return Apr 13 2020, with the following itinerary: BLQ to IST, then IST to JFK, return.
I wrote several emails to Opodo and I received always the same answer: we are waiting the refund from Turkish Airlines, it takes several months.
I called Turkish Airlines, they said they have already paid Opodo (that what their agent on phone told me).
Since that time I haven't got my money back, every time when I log in the web site, always the same answer: "We are waiting money from Turkish Airlines".
This is my last effort before proceeding by legal means.

We booked these flights through OPODO, however in the case of passenger Gwyneth Ellis it is shown as Gwynnety Ellus incorrectly. In the case of Levi Agatha it is shown as Levi Agather incorrectly. When we contacted OPODO they said they couldn't do anything as their were more than one airline involved. When we contacted BA and Virgin they said we didn't clear security because we weren't the email address that booked the flights as it was OPODO. So frustratingly we can't get the corrections made. We acknowledge their will be an admin fee to make these changes but just need to get them done. The flights are Manchester to Miami on the 27th December, British Airways are the first leg to Heathrow. Followed by Virgin to Miami and KLM for the return journey.

I have booked a ticket on the 21th of Feb 2021 with a total amount £349.41.
I have seen that my last name is not right. I hve added only 1 letter extra and they refused it change it to me.
I have change my booking from 21th of Feb to 21th of March so they can have enough time to change my last name as they mentioned it will take up to 1 month.
I have went to the airport * With lufthansa* and they have sent me back home because as Germany law, they are not accepting any British citizens entering the country.
Lufthansa has told everyone that they will get their refund back because we haven't use the facilities or even flying from UK to German.
I have spoke to Opodo but they refused to give me my full amount of the refund. Which is not right and unappropriated to deal like this with their customers.
Every time i call opodo they hang up the phone while i am talking which is RUDE!
I HAVE called Lufthansa but they said your travel agent is Opodo and opodo is telling me you need to speak with Lufthansa.

I bough 6 moths ago a flight ticket from Opodo with the following itinerary

I bought that ticket with two insurance including full refund upon cancellation. Before the flight date and due to some circcumstances I asked them to change the date they said it will take along time for the change to take effect (that what their agent on phone told me). I booked a flight with Opodo for the 1st August 2020. The flight was cancelled and I cancelled on 29th July informing Opodo immediately. I was promised that storno would be not a problem and even signed an additional insurance option for that. Swiss already informed me that the money has been returned to the agent (Opodo) and shared the credit note with me (attached). I was promised a refund for my flight to new zealand back in july 2020, my flight was set to depart beginning of august. I have been palmed off every time I contact them and they said to contact thai airlines who the flight was with. Thai airlines have said its opodos responsibility. Opodo have now cut off all contact mediums for me and I am getting worried I will not get my £2500 back for my flight. This has majorly affected my mental health as it has left me in a financial difficulty

Not refunded & complaints number didn't work
I bought a flight through Opodo and paid extra for the Covid cover insurance. The Virgin flight was cancelled and I was told I wouldn't get a refund but a voucher instead which as I had already had a previous flight cancelled I need the money reimbursed. Then when I complained and replied, no one got back to me. I then tried to call their complaints telephone number, an automated message said this was no longer in use and I had to then go through an online messenger service done by AI and it did not help (in fact it stated that there was no refund owed to me!), rather it just directed me to My Booking page which there is not any way to get the refund page up. So there is no way in this process to give me the opportunity to get my money back! This is a crime and I will be fighting this until its resolved and I will be posting this all over social media, so others know what a con this is and how badly Opodo treat their customers.

I have not received voucher for hotel and now having to find proof of invoice between Opodo and Hotel. Hotel say's the did not receive payment and Opodo says they got paid. If I could put up a large warning sign; DO NOT US OPODO I would and I'll keep spreading it everywhere I can

I bought a ticket for may 2020 to go to my daughter's wedding in New york.
Of course, with covid 19, this flight has been cancelled. I contacted Opodo several times, they told me I would get complete refund for my ticket (that was in september 2020), but still in january 2021, I didnt get anything from Opodo. I try to call them again and again but they now dont even answer on phone. All I want is my money back. Thank you
