Flight cancelled by airline (covid), no reimbursement/voucher from opodo
The following flight was cancelled fly KLM, due to CORONA: Moscow-Amsterdam/Amsterdam — Dublin, March 21, 2020. Booking through Opodo, booking ref OYCLNP, Opodo-reservation number: 5018476924.
In the Opodo email confirming my reservation, there is an option to click "Mijn revering beheren" ("Manage my reservation"). The overview (I have a screenshot, attached) shows my flight and the mention: "We zijn uw terugbetalingsverzoek voor de volgende vlucht aan het verwerken" ("we are working on your reimbursement request for the following flight").
No news from Opodo since March 21st, 2020. I could not find any possibility to contact Opodo by phone or email.
As I am a PLATINUM flyer with KLM, I contacted KLM and they registered my request "for the record", although they mentioned that it will be OPODO that has to put in the official request for reimbursement/voucher.
KLM sent me the KLM Voucher Request ID: 788-75AFB44797D7 for ref OYCLNP. I have a copy of this KLM document (attached)
In short, KLM cancelled a flight and confirmed this with a Request ID. Opodo confirmed that it is working on my reimbursement request. I just wish to receive a Voucher from Opodo. As I travel a lot, I will accept a voucher, reimbursement is not needed.

Request for airline ticket refund due to airline cancelled flight
Have spent several hours attempting to request a refund from Opodo via website but cannot even get the site to register my request.
I have tried the Facebook Direct Messaging which linked to Manage My Booking, where I was able to bring up all ticket details but not do the most important thing: register a request for refund.

The flight was cancelled by Aeroflot at the behest of Russian Federation which halted flights from UK on 28 Dec, 2020 due to new strain of CV-19 in UK. The phone line of Aeroflot was very helpful but said requests for refund must go through Opodo .
I have been unable to find any other way of submitting a request for refund and have no other option than to submit this complaint.

Paris - Thailand on the 23rd of Dec till 9th of Jan 2021;
the airline canceled the ticket and till now I did not get my refund from Opodo;
I called the Airline; the Jordanian; and they are accepting to do the refend, but payment is not yet

Unauthorised cancellation of my flight and taking refund by Opodo
On 20/06/2020, I booked a return flight from Manchester UK to Lagos Nigeria for Saturday 11 July 2020 to return Tuesday 28 July 2020 with Opodo booking reference: 6620910794 and Lufthansa Airline reference: UYZWBR, confirmed by email. On 22/06/2020, I received another email from Opodo stating that the airline had made a schedule change to my flight. Again on 3/07/2020, I received another notification of a "major schedule change" by the airline from Opodo. Then followed by two more notices of schedule change, by email from Opodo, on 6th and 7th of July 2020. On 23/07/2020, I received another email from Opodo with notification of cancellation of my flight with options for asking for refund or rebooking via change of dates. I opted for a change of date. On 25/07/2020, I received a reply from Opodo confirming my request for change of dates. By 29/07/2020, I received another email from Opodo stating that they were still "moving forward with my request". That was the last communication with Opodo as Lufthansa dealt with rescheduling my flight to 14/12/2020. I continued to deal directly with Lufthansa on my flight issues until 13/12/2020, when I called Lufthansa to book for extra baggage and was told by their Call-centre representative that Opodo cancelled my booking and had taken a refund for my ticket on 02/12/2020. I never requested for cancellation of my flight or refund because I had been confirmed as flying on Lufthansa flight for 14/12/2020 at 06.15am. I thought it was a joke until I arrived for check-in at Manchester airport Terminal 1 Lufthansa desk and was denied boarding.
The resolution of this issue will entail Opodo paying me back the costs of my new return ticket to Nigeria and back.
Handling of cancelled flight
I've booked return flights Aberdeen/Amsterdam/Moscow in January 2020 through Opodo.co.uk to travel in July 2020. The flights got cancelled due to Covid-19. I've been trying to get a refund from them since July 2020 with no luck. As they're suggesting that the airline is only offering a voucher or rebook only. Under EU law, I should be entitled to a full refund since the flight is leaving from the UK, regardless of where the airline is from.
I don't want to accept a voucher since I don't know when I'll be able to travel and also can't get the same flights through the airline's website.
I can't even complain to them as they're not giving me any option on how to and no email options available. I've tried to complain on their website using some enquiry form but no one bothered to respond.
Therefore, very disappointed with the poor customer service and care they provide. As they don't really care and makes everything hard to contact them. Recently can't even call their customer service as the booking reference number is not being recognized anymore. I would advise people not to use this site and just book elsewhere preferably direct with the airlines.

Been trying for a year now to get refund for 2 return tickets Australia to UK paid in 2019. Being sent round in circles by opodo whose website and app make it impossible to contact them.
Value approx £1300.
I also took out for £65, insurance with them against cancellation.
It is impossible even to get an acknowledgement of my claim. Disgusting.
No refund from canceled flight by airline & opodo
My flight from UK To US on virgin airlines DSBBXS was canceled by the airline on June 4th 2020 I requested a refund on April 30th 2020 with Opodo. On August 13th an Opodo representative assured me after confirming my bank details I would receive a refund in 60-90 days There is no live person to talk to anymore the website also is failing to show any refund status updates. Opodo are failing to update the customers this has become very time consuming & stressful. After reading reviews & articles in the media it seems Opodo are failing most of its customers this is also on reflection on Virgin airlines as this experience has changed my view on an airline I have used for many years why they are not doing more to ensure the customers get refunds.

i had booked a flight ticket throw Opodo on January 2020,
the flights scheduled 04/04/2020, .
and the ticket has been canceled from the airline, i requested the refund from opodo. and till now i didn't get my refund back. it's almost 6 months, at begging they was saying its takes 3 months, after that 6, now they are saying 12 months

Cannot contact Opodo, all telephone numbers are changed and the replacement comes in non intelligable version of "two billion seventy six million sixhundredeighty thousand five hundred sixty two" which doesn't work. This is not a normal business practice.
How can I get my money back?
Cancelled my holiday due to covid-19 they have just ignored all my mails and texts. No refund
I booked a holiday with Opodo to Saint Marten (Caribbean) 4th September till 14th September. This was flights and All inclusive hotel.
I was living and working on St Vincent also in the Caribbean Island. Unfortunately I was laid-off due to the Covid epidemic (I am also in the hospitality industry) I the contacted Opodo by text telling them that I was not able to go on holiday as I had lost my job and had to return to the UK. (14th August)
Might I also add that I have taken out insurance to cover all possibilities on not being able to take my holiday.
Once I arrived home I wanted (20th August) I tried to contact Opodo both by phone and email. The phones rang through or they said wrong number (these numbers are on there web site) so misleading, there text service is automated, which was a waste of time. When they asked did you want to talk to an agent, I said yes, but it never happened, everything to do with customer service is automated. No feed back, no reply a dead end

I booked a return ticket through opodo to travel from Manchester to Islamabad via Doha about a year ago. A few days ago all the flights were confirmed and I even selected my seats. In February, myself and my wife booked seperate flights (on different dates) from London to Montreal, for us and our daughters, 4 flights in total, through Opodo. The carrier was Air Transat, with the flights taking place in late July.
My flight was scheduled for July 23rd, and my booking reference number was [protected]. My wife and daughter's flight was scheduled for 18th July, and their booking reference number was [protected].
Both flights were cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and we received an email on the 26th of June to inform of this, and to offer refund vouchers. We were happy to accept these, and followed the instructions to request these through the supplied link.
Since then, we have heard nothing. I have attempted to contact Opodo on several occasions though their website, but have received no response to my messages. They do not supply an email address. I managed to find a phone number for customer service, but after being on hold for an hour, I was disconnected.
We are not asking for a full refund, merely the vouchers they have already offered, plus some communication from Opodo as to the current status of this.

Unauthorized debit card charge
I booked and paid for a flight to Dublin on 4/8/20 through Opodo which cost £100.49. I paid this at the time of booking however on 19/8/20 Opodo took another payment of £115.52 from my account without my authorization. I would like to know why this sum was taken from my debit card.

Numerous attempts by telephone and email have proved ineffective as opodo have blocked attempts to contact them.
Voucher for cancelled flights
I booked business class return flights with Emirates for me and my wife to Lusaka via Opodo on 18 December 2019. The outward flight was from Stansted on 5 September 2020 via Dubai to Lusaka, and the return was on 19 September 2029 from Lusaka to Stansted via Dubai. On 13 July 2020 I received the first of several emails from Emirates. It stated that my departure airport had been changed to Heathrow, instead of Stansted. I then received an email from Emirates on 22 July 2020 stating the flights back from Lusaka via Dubai to Stansted had been cancelled. I tried to call Opodo on several occasions to ask what my options were, but never managed to get through. On 24 July 2020 I received an email from Opodo also informing me that my flights on booking reference [protected] had been cancelled due to Covid-19, but the mail was not specific about which flights had been cancelled, so I presume it was all of them. The mail advised me to click the Manage My Booking link, where I would be able to review my options. I did this several times, and was not able gain access to the section where I could review my options, but eventually I was successful, and chose the voucher option. The pop up, after I selected the voucher option, informed me that this could take up to 14 days to be executed, so I was not too surprised when I kept receiving flight updates from Emirates, even though the flights had been supposedly cancelled. I allowed the 14 days to expire plus slightly longer, then decided to call Opodo on the evening of 17 August 2020 at 22.26 and eventually got through to an operative. I explained that I had opted for the voucher option on line, but had received nothing. He then accessed my booking and informed me that he had requested the voucher option, which would be sent via email, but could take up to 48 hours to be sent, which expired yesterday evening. As the initial flight is du to take off on 5 September 2020, and I have still not received either confirmation that a voucher has been issued in lieu of the flight, or any other alternatives, such as a refund, I am concerned that I will lose my money, which I cannot afford as a pensioner. Lack of refund of flight
Flight to Warsaw (10th April 20) cancelled we spoke to the airline who confirmed that they were providing refunds but that this would need to be done through our travel agent Opodo. We contacted Opodo numerous times and eventually the refund was put through on the 15th May. We were sent wrong forms to fill out, told we were ineligible, that our flight wasn't cancelled, even though we could prove that it had been. Refund request has now exceeded 90 days and still no evidence of the refund, despite airline saying that it is processing refunds.
We believe Opodo is holding on to our money and not returning it to customers.
Customer service and refunds
Following issues with covid we were not able to take our holiday as planned to hawaii in the middle of april. Flights were cancelled by the airlines. Following this I called three days before we were due to fly and was told that I would get a refund, and it could take up to 90 days to be paid back into the account I used to book and pay for the flights. This was on the 17 of april 2020 and the agents name was advia, when I suggested that it didn't take them 90 days to take my money she told me that she would prioritise it and I should get it in ten days. Well its now the 25th of august 2020 and I am still waiting for my money to be returned. This is my last ditch attempt to get this resolved before I seek legal advice and take legal action against opodo. I am appalled at the lack of response from opodo they clearly have the money and should have paid it back by now.
