Opodo Flight booked with opodo, have been emailing, phoning and getting nowhere.

booking ref DHNPNR From London (LGW) to Barcelona (BCN), with Iberia SKZTT7
I booked this flight with Opodo who will not respond they told me I would get Avios points and took my exec card number and my fathers which was on the booking. It was booked with BA/Iberia who then became Vueling! No one responds, Iberia or Vueling. I wanted to book B.A but they told me this was the only availability and it was advertised on line as BA. They confirmed I would get Avios points for this business class flight but now will not help me to claim these. My Avios card number is 308147 [protected] 2

This was supposed to be a partner airline to British Airways/ Vueling and the flight number on the board was prefixed with BA.

I was sold 2 business class seats!

The seats and leg room were the same as all the others on the plane which were economy.

The food had run out so no food, where was the business class?

No lounge at Gatwick so I had to pay for Number one lounge myself on top of the fare.

Please respond to this as I am sure I have been mis-sold a service? I am now just trying to claim the points for the two business class seats as this was confirmed before booking.

Still no response to my complaint, having sent it in at least 20 times since last July when I flew. Tried all email addresses and despite sending my boarding passess etc. as requested still no response. this is a terrible customer service experience.

Still no response to my complaint and we flew in July? Can this be chased pleased. the issue is simple we were told there would be Avios points or points with our BA exec card but we did not receive either for 2 business class seats. The inflight service was a very poor standard, small seats no food, they had run out and no apology from the airline or booking agent.

Opodo Flight ticket

Dear representative

I had booked a flight with opodo, and due to visa rejection I canceled my ticket, hence i was promised to be refunded by an amount of 172 GBP however i established that only an amount of 65 GBP that has been refunded and i sent more than email and nobody replies which is unacceptable and understandably

Opodo flexible travel dates option

I bough the ticket from opodo site and I chose the option flexible travel dates for 18.41 euros which allowed me to easily change the date of my traveling till 24 hours before the flight. Since I could not receive visa for that day, three months before the flight date, I called them and they told me the main airline does not have this option, so I lost all of my money plus this 18.41 euros which I paid for this service! The time that I booked this ticket, the site did not showed me that if the main airline does not have this option, this option is meaningless and it does not show that my ticket is basic, it just mentioned that my ticket is economy (which generally I could change it by paying fees to the main airline). And surprisingly, they told me even if the site would have this option, I should pay the changing fee and the difference price between two tickets! So, the option has in reality no meaning to choose and pay more money! I am so unsatisfied whit their service! I trying to call them several time and they were very rude to me and yelling at me that it is not their business! I called to my main airline and they told me the date of my ticket is not exist in their schedule! I am totally confused... I could not find any connection to complain about their service, behavior and wrong ticket selling!

Hi, policy booking number [protected] this was made on 18.08.20. premium paid £11.29 but on 26.08.20
fly to Oporto on 10.09.20 return on 15.09.20.
On 26.09.20 I tried to change return date from 15 to 22.09.20 and the information I got from Opodo was: If the company is a low cost, contact them.
What is the point to Flexible Travel Dates ?

Opodo customer service - invoice

It is impossible to get any invoice from them..

Couple of months ago I made a travel bought the ticket from Aped for the Turkish Airlines yet since then I couldn't get invoice to claim my money from where I work. I contacted with both of the companies one says the other should give it and the other says I should get it from the other. It has been months now. So disappointing on behalf of the both big named companies.
I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO USE THEM.. AS PRECISELY BECAUSE IT TOOK THEM SEVERAL MONTHS SEVERAL UNANSWERED EMAILS AND ONE COMPLAIN TO MAKE THEM TO TAKE ME SERIOUS AND REPLY (THOUGH THE REPLY WAS JUST TO SAY IT IS NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY).

They cost me to lose 250 pounds of reimbursement that I could claim from where I work if I ever could get an invoice.

Opodo No invoice despite many many requests

I have asked for an invoice politely, firmly and repeatedly - no joy whatsoever - if I don't get an invoice I cannot get an invoice so I desperately need that invoice - Opodo has ignored me for weeks. Seems they don't a damn about their customers - leaving a bad review to their customer survey has not led to any follow up so it shows the kind of attitude they have - never again!

Doubt anyone will bother but I am reaching out to anyone who claims to be able to help.

Same here. I have requested an invoice several times, no answer except for a robot reassuring me that it will be sent to me within 24h (which is not true). I didn’t have these problems with other websites providing the same services.

Opodo don't book through opodo

They lie to their customers about prices. The actual prices are usually lower than on their website. It's easy to check if you spend a couple of minutes on searching on the internet. I regret I booked through them before I saw the real prices. I probably could have canceled the booking, but I know they will charge me for this and I will get a partial refund in a month (due to other reviews).
So if you want cheap tickets, the Opodo website is not where you will find them. Look for more websites, it will take you 2 minutes. Don't waste your money on these liars.

Opodo paid for luggage charged twice

I was flying with my family from Chania to Athens on 3 August 2017. The tickets were purchased through Opodo - please see all the details below, including the number of bags paid for (three). However, at Chania airport we were charged again for the luggage (which I had already purchased when booking the flight). The sum charged was 105 Euros. Please refund this sum.

Opodo opodo cancelled my tickets in 3 may 2017 but no refund till now

I booked a ticket on 3rd May 2017 and after few days canceled by Opodo because of unknown reasons...

I talked to customer service many times, I send them many request emails... they told me you will get your money this week, next week or two weeks later... this process repeated several times from three months ago...

Last time (three weeks ago) I call customer service in U.K, she promises me and took my banking account information and told me you will get refund maximum 2 weeks later... Now, three weeks passed and nothing happens...
I'm really disappointed with the behavior of Opodo company.

Opodo travel insurance for flight cancellation only covers your death???

So I had problems with my visa and can't take my return flight, but my travel insurance I purchased in case this happened now doesn't cover it. Better yet, the number customer service gave me to file a claim was invalid...What's the point of purchasing travel insurance for your flight if the only refund you can receive is after your own death? Thanks, Opodo & British Airways were you too busy with tea time to fix my flight? I won't be using your "services" again.

Opodo flight tickets

I booked a flight from Tunisia to London and on the opodo website it was shown that the both the flight included a checked in luggage, however this was a big lie since only the return flight included a luggage, after receiving the email confirmation and realised I tried calling the customer services which advised me to complaint and when asked them to cancel my booking since it was a free cancellation booking that told me we wil only be able to refund you £3.40 after I paid almost £500 tickets!
Very disappointed will not use this website again and won't reccomend it to anyone!

Opodo booking cancellation without warning because of a wheelchair request

I Booked 4 flights to Bogota-Colombia on 11th July. My husband is disabled and therefore I requested a wheelchair for ease of things as transfers from terminal to terminal can be difficult. I got on the same day a booking confirmation and another email requesting extra information regarding the wheelchair. I rang today (17th July) because the money hasn't been withdrawn from our bank account to learnt that the booking has been cancelled because I didn't ring earlier to confirm wheelchair arrangements! and of course they wanted to charge me more money as to reserve a week later is more expensive. No respect for disabled customers ... in fact, worst rights for disabled customers as if I haven't disclosed my husbands needs none of this would have happened and I would still have the bookings at the price I thought I bought this tickets.

Its disgusting behaviour of Opodo and its policies towards procedures and timeframes regarding disabled passengers!

Dear sir/madam,
I booked a ticket to Beirut in January, and paid £75 insurance for no cancellation fees to be added on, if need be. However, on the same day after 10 minutes, I cancelled this booking. I asked for the refund but they added on the £75 for cancellation even though I paid for the insurance. When I called them, they consistently replied to me that the process was pending, however after 6 months you have still not returned the £75 which you took even though I paid the insurance.

Opodo flight vfbo2c

Dear Sir/Madam,
I was suppose to fly from Mauritius to France with flight number VFBO2C on 19th June 2017. Unfortunately, I had a car accident on 13th June and it was a big accident with my car crashed completely and my health deeply affected. I have evidences of my accident as the case was reported to Police. I have tried calling Opodo to postpone my ticket or a refund but they said refund not possible so I was agreeing for a postpone but that too they asked me around USD 1000 ( penalty despite I took an premium option where it's said postpone is free plus ticket difference fee )which is a bit too much and my state was not good at all to decide when next I can travel.
I wish to recover the air ticket or at least postpone it for a later date. I can send you evidences of my car accident, medical paper advising me complete rest and phone calls made to Opodo from my operator for a change but that was unsuccessful.

I also requested the call center of Opodo an email address to write about my issue so that it can be forwarded to someone in charge but they didn't give me any address so I have written to Condor support team to explain why I cannot travel prior to my flight and they have advised me to liaise with Opodo to sort this out.

Please let me have a feedback as soon as possible. Relying on your support.

Opodo cancelling seat reservation

Hi I noticed on my itinerary with British airways that going out my reserved seats which I paid a lot for because I have Parkinson's disease I needed were cancelled without me knowing.No explanation.So I phoned you and explained that I paid a lot for 3 seats and why I needed them as I needed extra leg room all I got back was yoh Can gave any other normal seats go online and key us know which ones.I couldn't get onto anything on my booking to do with seat reservation and like I said I booked them early especially.So I had to cancel my flushers and not being my fault I lost over a thousand pounds.
I'm not happy with this and the attitude I got back

Opodo refusal to cancel flight and give refund

We booked a flight through Opodo with Volaris Airlines from Cancun to Veracruz, and the return journey on 15th June 2017 (Flight Y4 126). Opodo transaction number: [protected]; booking made on 13th August 2016.

I noted yesterday (19th May 2017) on the Volaris website that, without our being notified, they had changed the return date to 16th June when we will no longer even be in Mexico. I therefore wished to cancel the flight and obtain a refund. I telephoned Opodo, who denied that they were in the least bit responsible and claimed that it was my responsibility to cancel the flight, by telephoning Volaris on a Mexican number. Eventually, I was told that Opodo would email me a form to complete and return. Predictably, that didn't happen.

I just wish to get a refund for the flights which are no longer those for which we paid.

Opodo booking error - opodo blaming customer & giving false information

Opodo had an error on their website which lead to double names on the bookings. I called Opodo and they tell me the booking has the be canceled and rebooked ( over 600 GBP cost).
The airline (Lufthansa) says Opodo's information is incorrect, the name correction can be done free of charge as it is an obvious mistake.

I am requesting either a full refund of the entire reservation or the correction of the name.

These business practices are unacceptable and unlawful.

Opodo meals

I travelled to Mauritius on 3rd April via Eurowings...I booked with Opodo
flight no 4U355 operated by German Wings to Cologne and then from Cologne FLIGHT no. EW176 to Maurtius..
Although food was included on this long haul flight I was offered non, so i had to buy for which I paid 9.90 Euro on my Visa ..then at the end of the journey a breakfast was offered to me..which surprised me.

when i asked why i was not offered drinks and dinner for which i ended buying they said i should of asked them as they are very busy and did not see my name on the list and that i should have told . i am very disappointed with this service to say the least and i want to reclaim back the money i spend on the meal or i will take this further. I know the money is not much but the principle count. Not even a sorry and trying to say it is my fault for not asking for a meal..

Opodo cancelled my tickets in jan 17 but no refund till now

I cancelled my tickets via opodo in Jan 17, while doing that I was informed that it might take a maximum of 3 months to process the refund. It has been 5 months now and I haven't received the refund.

After following it up with them from last 4 months, all I get to hear is that refund is in process and would be done on priority.

Can someone let me know how this can be escalated and resolved?

I have purchased 4 tickets for bologna airport today. total from ryanair amount is ££738.18, but outstanding payment to opodo mounts up to £824.61. this is unacceptable amount for the service charge. also, I have used promo code vip40 that obviously was not applied. instead of paying less I have paid even more
