Opodo Opodo prime

Opodo Prime just took money of my bank account for their membership fee even though I never used the platform. Instead of helping to resolve the issue and giving me my money back they were just asking for the email address of the account (which I don't have since I don't use the platform). I can only advise against using Opodo. The company isn't professional.

Opodo Opodo Prime

I signed up in May 2021. I hve since been unable to cancel my membership.

I have emailed and had no response.

I have tried their chat bots (you need a reference number for flight or they will not speak to you), as i can no longer log into my account to cancel it. I cannot speak to them to log into my account to cancel my subscription.

They have been terrible. Their website is incredibly obscure and they make it deliberately hard for you to cancel your subscription or speak directly to someone.

I have not used their services since May 2021!

Desired outcome: Refund for this years payment of £59.99, and confirmation of cancellation of my subscription.

Opodo Flight bookings

My wife booked a Flight with Ryanair Edinburgh to Faro for 16th September ref no JWY2YH name Mary Stewart

She paid you £81.21 which went through our bank account on14thAugust

Yesterday you took an unauthorised amount of £59.99 from our account. Can you please advise what this was for.

In addition we cannot print a boarding pass because Ryanair tell us you are not an authorised agent.

Can you advise on these points please

Opodo invoice

Hi!

On August 12 I paid a ticket to Opodo and ordered an invoice. They didn't send invoice for 2 weeks and then I chatted wit their agent in customer service, so he(she) said I will receive the invoice on my email in 24-72 hours. But I didn't. Now after 100 hours I am writing to you, because I need the invoice from Opodo.

Opodo Car rental

I rented a car through Opodo, in Porto (Portugal) booking reference PT713743460. When I arrived in Porto, at the designated rental place, there was nobody present from the car rental company. After waiting and trying to contact this company for an hour, I had no choice but to rent a car from a different company. I contacted Opodo to refund me and I raised case [protected]. The designated Opodo representative has blatantly and unprofessionally ignored all evidence I shared and she has refused to provide a refund saying that the car company (Firefly) refuses to refund me! I tried to escalate this case to a different officer or to the manager of the original officer without success. It is as if "computer says no" i.e. if the customer service officer says no than the case is doomed.

I called more than 10 times, I wrote about 30 emails, I spent about 10 hours on trying to get the refund. It is shocking how bad the Opodo customer service is. Shame

Desired outcome: Refund plus compensation for the inconvenience caused and the time wasted through the unprofessionalism of Opodo employees and lack of Opodo quality control services

Opodo Unauthorised debit card charges

I had wanted to travel internationally to Uganda. I created an account with Opodo prime but never provided any bank card details to them. A total of BWP 998.93 was credited from my account on the 10 of August 2023 without my consent and knowledge. my main concern is how did they manage to get to my account yet i never gave them my bank details. i had also decided to book my ticket online and not with opodo.

Desired outcome: i would like to have a refund of my money. Thank you.

Opodo Attempted booking on opodo

I tried repeatedly to book a flight, Somehow int he final payment step something goes wrong, "Ihre Buchung war nicht erfolgreich. Wir konnten Ihre Tickets nicht ausstellen." Rufen Sie uns an und wir helfen Ihnen telefonisch.

Well how ? Firstly no number is given.

Secondly, when I found one:

I called and I also tried the chat-bot - it always asks for a booking number, but obviously I do not have this.

Great service - useless.

Opodo Flight cancelled

Had a flight cancelled by the airline from Valencia to Lisbon under booking [protected] and to this day I'm battling to get my money back. Called numerous times, sent numerous emails including the CEO Dana and I am still waiting nearly a year later. Please AVOID this company AT ALL COSTS. They are ok if you don't have any issues with your travel but if something happens to your flight or holiday you won't get your money back. Their HQ is now based in Spain and no longer part of the ATOL Protection scheme leaving the UK consumer powerless. Check reviews and forums before booking.

They seem to have 2 Trustpilot set of reviews now so PLEASE PLEASE check before booking your holiday.. This company is scamming customers. They keep blaming the airline for not passing the money to them, excusing themselves from the transaction. Please protect your mental health, family and your money. I will now be taking this to the small claims court.

Opodo Lack of invoice for bought services

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the level of service I have received from Opodo regarding my recent purchase. Despite multiple assurances from their representatives that I would receive the invoice within a week, it has been far beyond that timeframe, and I am yet to receive any communication or documentation from your company.

I made a booking through Opodo including reference number [protected]. While the booking process itself went smoothly, I have encountered significant issues with obtaining the invoice for my purchase. I would like to bring to your attention the following incidents:

Lack of Communication: I have reached out to your customer service department several times through phone calls and emails to request the invoice. However, I have not received any satisfactory response or resolution to my concern. Each time, I have been informed that the invoice has been sent, but despite these claims, I have not received any communication from Opodo.

Delayed Promise: It has been over a week since I was initially assured that the invoice would be sent promptly. I find it unacceptable that Opodo has failed to fulfill this basic customer expectation, leaving me in a state of uncertainty and inconvenience.

Breach of Agreement: The failure to provide an invoice is a breach of our agreement and goes against Opodo's obligation to provide essential documentation for purchased services. It is a basic right of every customer to receive an invoice, which serves as proof of payment and is necessary for accounting and reimbursement purposes.

I want to emphasize that I have been patient and cooperative throughout this ordeal. However, the lack of accountability and transparency from Opodo has left me with no choice but to escalate this matter further. If the invoice is not provided within the next five business days, I will be compelled to take the following actions:

Filing a Formal Complaint: I will not hesitate to file a formal complaint with consumer protection agencies and any relevant regulatory bodies in order to bring attention to Opodo's poor business practices.

Negative Reviews and Social Media Attention: I will share my unfortunate experience with Opodo on various review platforms and social media channels, warning other potential customers about the company's lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction.

Legal Action: Failure to comply with the legal requirement of providing an invoice may leave Opodo liable for legal action, including but not limited to pursuing a claim for damages and seeking reimbursement of legal costs.

I believe it is in the best interest of both parties to resolve this matter promptly and amicably. I urge you to rectify this situation by providing me with the invoice for my purchase within the next five business days. Additionally, I request that you respond to this complaint in writing, acknowledging the receipt of my concerns and outlining the steps being taken to address the issue.

I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and that appropriate action will be taken to rectify the situation promptly. Failure to do so will result in the necessary measures outlined above.

I look forward to your immediate attention to this matter and a swift resolution.

Opodo Unable to access customer service without a reference number

On February 27th, 2023, I had a debit of 59.99 from my current account from opodo prime. I have no email from or bookings with them and wanted to query this. However, as I have no booking or no reference number, I'm unable to do so. All of their chat, email and customer forms require a reference number. So although this is probably fraud but I have no way of checking. Even the chat is very frustrating as it just repeats itself and has a limited range of options.

Desired outcome: to be able to talk to a human being without needing a booking reference

Invoice send to me for £2450.00 but charged me addtinal £165 (without invoice) and plus £54.96 invoiced to my credit card and £4.98 service charges. Try to download full charged invoice unable to do so. Having bad exprices with this apps not encourage other to use this service.

I feel sick, upset and deceived-Opodo took £2300 out of our account 3 April 2023, for our family holiday flights to Spain on 29th July 2023 (2 weeks time), us and 3 children, we have no booking reference or email confirmation of our booking, we cannot access the app and the bot insists on us providing a booking reference-which we haven't been given. There are no phone numbers that are answered. Our children will be devastated to not to have a holiday this year now. to If this isn't resolved our Solicitors will be contacted.

Opodo Car rental

I rented a car from Keddy/Europcar through Opodo and I paid Opodo 721.53£ to rent the car in France from the period of 17/6/2023 - 9/07/2023. Opodo sent me the receipt and the car hire voucher and I read it carefully and it stated that a UK driving license holder doesn't require an international driving license. I arrive in Paris and I went to Europcar office. The agent refused to give me the cat because he wanted an international driving license. I showed him my UK full driving license and the car hire voucher provided by Opodo but he insisted not to give the car. I called Opodo help desk asking them for immediate help and they spoke to the Europcar agent who continued to reject giving the car for the same reason ( showed me a document stating the need of an international driving license). After I spoke to him he was helpful to cancel the booking without charging me any fees ( I have the cancelation reference). He advised that the refund should come through O. I made an official request on the 17/6/2023 and they promised to reply in 48h. Then they asked for more time and they keep giving excuses for not giving back my money. I'm so disappointed and I wish to have your help to immediately get back my money.

Desired outcome: A full refund of 721.53£ plus the compensation of 82.99£ (ticket to travel from Paris to Rouen) as I ended up having no car due to their wrong and misguiding instructions

Opodo Payment error

Dear Sirs,

It is very urgent issue due to flight date 04/07.

I have already bought and have been transferred from my account money but I got a message from your site that the payment was declined due to error. I need some one to check receipt of funds from my card. I have paid 968.42 euros from my card to Opodo/Barcelona on 30/06/23 21:06 and didnt receive any booking confirmation. please advice what to do

Opodo Could not do a check-in because my flight was not found

Hello,

My name is Julija Rastauskaitė. On 06-13 I had a flight Vilnius - Malta. Airline reference number: WMWI9H. When I wanted to make a check-in by myself in the Rynair program It was not allowed because my flight was not found. The same situation was on 06-20 when I had a flight back (Malta-Vilnius). So at the airport i was told that maybe Opodo used their e-mail instead of my e-mail and because of that I did not find my flight. So both times i had to pay 55euro for the check-in. But it was not my fault that I was not able to do a check-in so at the airport I was told that I should ask Opodo to refund the amount that I paid for check-in back. So I want to ask to refund me 110 euro I spent for check-in because that was not my fault.

Opodo Flight Opodo reserve locator: [protected]

I booked a flight Malaga > Gran Canaria 13th June 23 and paid with credit card online.

Suddenly, 23 June 23 I receive email saying that they had not been able to process my reservation. 10 DAYS LATER! Why 10 days to find this out?

Offered me a 10 Euro coupon to book with them again NO NO NO NO!

I have rebooked the flight with a more reliable company not Opodo.

Opodo's failure cost me as I had to pay more for the same flight 10 days later.

I have used Opodo previously for private and business bookings. However, no more I will not use them again and I will advise my friends, family and business associates to avoid at all cost.

Opodo Opodo cancel for any reason guarantee (flights)

I booked a flight from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur for mid August 2023 (booking [protected]) and added C4AR insurance. Due to a misleading selection option on the Opodo website (Do you want C4AR insurance yes/no), I was charged for this cover twice. I immediately telephoned customer services to ask for this to be rectified and was told that no change was possible. However, it is my understanding that an insurance company operating in the UK (even if headquartered in Spain) cannot make a charge for a service that it cannot provide, as is the case for coverage of a risk already insured by the same company. I therefore request a refund of the second duplicate payment,

Opodo Flight bookings

I had the most horrible flight experience in my whole life with them, it was a share code flight from MEL to SIN by JetStar and From SIN to MHD with Turkish Airline.

Opodo Booking service incomplete

Late on Saturday night 10/06/2023 I tried to book on behalf of Mr and Mrs Tsangarides flight ticket from Athens to Cyprus with Wizz Air flight no 4562 for 19 June 2023 at 16:20. Unfortunately the process was interrupted as the online page disappeared and the booking could not completed. No confirmation was received in Mr Tsandarides email [protected]@hotmail.com, so he had to make alternative arrangements. Nevertheless, Mrs E Tsangaridou's Visa card was charged by Opodo the equivalent sum 217.13 euro without the tickets being issued.

Part of the transcript of the online chat with one of your representatives confirms that there is no booking with these names.

Opodo Flight booking cancellation before 24 hours
