Opodo Name change on flight ticket/booking

My name is Robert Moelter. I’ve spoken and chatted with agents from Opodo and Virgin Atlantic regarding a name change from Will to William.

Opodo keeps saying Virgin Atlantic won’t allow and is denying the request.

Virgin Atlantic is happy to approve my name change request. They’ve put notes in my booking saying so. I have screen shots of the chats as well.

Why does Opodo keep saying no and blaming Virgin Atlantic? Will we be able to fly on Wednesday?

Opodo Invoice for my flights

I have bought tickets via Opodo, even though there are warnings online, I have requested an invoice cause I need it as soon as possible. There is no invoice or response from them for days. I am really disappointed and cannot believe that they are pulling scams like this. Also, they only have a chat bot that keeps referring you to help page where you can’t find anything. Also when you request invoice only thing that appears is “invoice in process”. Don’t waste time using them, there are much better OTAs

Opodo Cancelled Ryanair Flight

I was booked on a Ryanair flight FR 4468 to Malaga on Sat, 15 Jul

at 16:45.

I received an email from yourselves informing me that the flight was cancelled at 11:06 on the morning of the flight.

I managed to get on a flight the next day after losing a day of my holiday.

I applied for compensation from Ryanair for the cancellation but they tell me they informed you the flight was cancelled on the 19th of May and so I am unable to claim compensation.

Desired outcome: I want to know if what Ryanair is saying is true and if so I want the full compensation that I would have received from Ryanair from you as you have let me down badly.

Opodo Opodo prime

I wish to raise a complaint £69.99 was tried to be withdrawn from my account on the 18th October 2023 my bank stopped the transaction…I have not signed up for prime and I’ve spent hours trying to cancel the membership on Opodo website and it’s impossible for me to cancel it..it’s made completely impossible to contact there customer services directly all that happens is you go round and round in circles on there automated chat system with no prospect of cancelling the prime service I have not asked to join..can you help..this is a company of complete jokers

Opodo Booking system

I made three flight bookings yeaterday, and I am always very careful to check the details.

When I received the confirming email, the months of one booking had been changed: it appears they had reverted to the earliest possible months.

When I contacted Opodo, an hour after making the booking, an automated system told me to contact the airline (Singaore). This I did and ended up having to pay £85 to correct Opodo's mistake.

When I complained formally to Opodo, I got a response saying only that I was changing the dates.

A further complaint resulted in a boilerplate reply completely ignoring the problem with their system.

Desired outcome: Return of my £85.

Opodo Money taken from my account without my consent

My name is Godfrey Ndhlovu and my phone number is [protected] my email; [protected]@hotmail.com I bank with Halifax and just last month I used opodo to book a flight and thats how they got my account details and now three days back without my authorisation they went back to my account and taken £69.99 and this is marked as opodo prime. I I dont even know what is opodo prime. please can you help me and get my money back soonest. this is fraud o theft

Opodo i have just heard from my bank that you tried to take £69.99 from my account

you have tried to take £69.99 from my bank for services i have not ordered or wanted today . i did take a flight from you on sept 18th which i took and paid for. i have not booked any think else since from you. if you can give me a explanation for this to happen and delete all my details and information from your data bank thank you. from [protected]@yahoo.co.uk .

Opodo gave me wrong prices.. refuse to refund! I used opodo to rent a car for 6 day 2 - 8 Oct 2023 from Beirut airport. Before paying I read all the terms and conditions and made sure there was no hidden fees or surprises. At the collection counter the agent told me that I need to pay USD 20.00 extra as "airport tax" I paid because I had no other choice...

Opodo Forgery on my bank account or wrong deduction of sek from my debit bank card

You have withdrawn SEK 950 from my Bank Account.

Kindly transfer back the money. I am not travel anywhere and I have not made any flight booking with you.

I did not book or buy any ticket from you. The only time I bought a ticket from you was at Stansted Airport to travel one way to Stockholm. I paid SEK 646 and it shows it has paid on 4th September, 2023. I am surprised that on 7th October, 2023 you deducted SEK 950 from my Bank Account in Sweden. Why? What was that money for? I did not intend to travel again, I am home in Sweden.

I have contacted my Bank about this and they advised me to report this matter to the Police.

If you deducted money from my bank account by mistake, please pay it back immediately so that the matter can be settled.

Opodo Refund Subscription for Opodo Prime £59.99

Opodo Prime took £59.99 out of my bank (processed date 04/10/23) I informed my bank that i did not authorise this that I had cancelled it in 2022. They have instructed me to inform you that there is an on going dispute in process. Therefore once again I would like to cancel any subscriptions fo Opodo Prime found on your system and the money put back into my account. I would also ask that you do not try and take money out of my bank in the futre without my consent. Thank you,

Opodo Subscription charge

I mistakenly tried a free trial of Opodo Prime last year. Did not intend to sign up but somehow managed to by mistake. I can not remember the exact date but it was either June or July 2022. Once I realised that I had signed up I immediately cancelled within the free trial period.

My company credit card has been charged £59.99 on 15/08/23.

This should not have been charged.

I have the written transcript from the cancellation last year within free trial period, which is attached below.

Desired outcome: Refund company credit card £59.99 and remove all GDPR data held on file for myself. Opodo should not have charged me this fee for subscription. All details, credit card etc, should be deleted by them.

Opodo Airline ticket

Bought today a return ticket from Barcelona to London and when I was checking-in with Vouling they said there was nothing in their system.

This is ridiculous! I must be home tonight, but now I have to wait until tomorrow morning. Also I have to pay for a hotel.

Tried to call the 0800 number, no connection

Opodo Cancelled flights

I booked 4 flights with opodo and paid by credit card. 5 weeks later the airline cancelled my flights. After 5 days they said they had refunded the card used to book the flights , I contacted opedo they said I had to wait 30 days for my refund. I then emailed again and was told I would get my refund, less a booking fee off £250 within 10 days but it’s been almost 3 weeks and they have not refunded me or responded to my emails. I’m having to pay for a service I have not been able to use, through no fault of my own. My booking number is [protected]. They have never once contacted me to tell me the flights had been cancelled or offered any help. I’m now not only out of pocket I have no holiday either and Paying credit card fees for nothing. Opodo Systems issues preventing me cancelling my account

Again, I have been trying to cancel the Opodo account. To do this, I need to login but the login isn't working. I requested "Forgot your password?" at least a dozen times and no link has come through.

The BOT is useless

The email address for the company bounces

The phone number does not connect

The call centre will not take calls

Appalling!

All I am trying to do is a simple cancellation but there is no way to reach the company and it is clear that their systems have problems, which have nothing to do with me.

Opodo Flight & hotel booking

July 2023 Booked flights and hotel through Opodo.

Flights were cancelled (Supposedly by the airline).

Airline offered an unsuitable alternative that I declined.

Opodo told me they found me another suitable flight which never materialised.

I lost my trip, my hotel, my money for both flights and the hotel booking,

Opodo said I would get my money back within 30 days. This was in early July.

It is now late September - I still get their annoying adverts but never any information about my refunds.

Opodo I had booked a flight on 17 September

I had booked a flight on 17 September for same day departure made full payment but never got my tickets and when I reached airport there was no reservation on the airline System ,We tried calling and on online chat we were unsuccessful so we ended up paying more the ticket second time. wish to claim the refund back

Opodo Refunds dispatched immediately when service not provided.

Booked flights with Opodo sent money immediately. Received an email the follows day stating flights not available offering a 24 hour alternative for a 7 hour fligh, the second flight out of 3 not available at all t. I rejected this and was told the original flights were not available at that price quoted so I cancelled and was sent an email stating refund approved. Some weeks later no refund. In the meantime booked through Booking.com the exact same flights at the same price Opodo was quoting originally and have since used those flights. Opodo seem extremely disorganised and dishonest. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Desired outcome: Take money immediately so should refund immediately

hi i had a booking from hongkong to bkk return bkk to hong hong 23 may 2023 to june 1st 2023 i cancel the flight with in 1hour i had email we will refund your money very shortly the ref no is [protected] i am still not had my refund yet would you kindly make refund as soon as possiable i cant aford to loose £482.33p because i am retired person kindly look into my complaint most symthiticaly my email is major.johal11@gmail.com your sincerely major johal
