First service call was on 8/17/2023 to service a non working ice machine and temperature fluctuations causing food to melt in the freezer. New ice machine and panel for freezer ordered. Second service call was on 8/29/2003. Ice machine and panel replaced. But the refrigerator portion was not keeping temperature and food was spoiling. Service tech stated it was the fan and that the new ice machine would not work until the fan was replaced. After repeated phone calls to customer service checking on the part, and limited assistance from them; I called the corporate office on 9/20/20203. Low and behold, the part arrived on 9/22/2023, with service scheduled for 9/27/23. We have been without a refrigerator for over a month and a half. We have full coverage with the extended warranty we purchased. This refrigerator and it should have been replaced weeks ago! As an appliance company, P.C. Richards is taking no responsibility for our loss of product and use of our home refrigerator. The service or lack thereof, is completely unacceptable! I wonder if anyone in the company would stand for a month without a their refrigerator!
Parts arrived damaged for the 9/27 service call. Customer service issued a full credit towards the purchase of a new refrigerator. New refrigerator was delivered on 9/29.
