Red Lobster zero if I could

This is a letter to Red Lobster Corporate to bring to your attention that our experience was horrible the night we went in to eat. I wanted to treat my husband to dinner at Red Lobster for all you can eat shrimp. When we arrived at 8:30 pm, we were told that there was a 15 min wait time due to being short staffed and they were all busy. So we sat at the bar for a cocktail. At 9:15 we brought to the bartenders attention that we may have been forgotten. She responded with that the host is a minor and needs to get breaks and he will be with us shortly. That was very strange. We were finally able to get a table and we were not greeted for at least 15 minutes (9:30). There was perhaps 10 tables of guests in the whole restaurant. I asked for a manager and I was told she was cooking so they sent out a supervisor (a server) which offered us a desert.

We finally were able to order and our server continued to complain about being short handed and that the establishment is very disorganized. This is not what I wanted to listen to while we were eating. By the time we received our dinners, we were told to order the extra shrimp right away because they were closing the kitchen. So needless to say, we did not get all we could eat.

While we were eating, I noticed that there was several tables very upset. There was a couple that was asking for a manager due to their food being cold, the manager never came and they walked out. Our server started to complain that this is the second table that has walked out and that she will be getting fired.

Overall, the whole experience was horrible and very unacceptable. We spent over $75.00 for dinner with drinks at the bar and we had nothing but drama and unprofessional staff. We never saw the manager and sat in a dining room with dirty dishes and no staff.

We have a choice of going to St Augustine or Daytona Beach. I hope the Daytona Beach location is better. Shame on corporate management to allow a beautiful restaurant to operate with chaos. Where was the GM with this mess going on?

I would love to have someone contact me for more details. I have been in the restaurant business for 40 years and I have never seen such a mess.

Red Lobster Hit or Miss: My Experience at Red Lobster

I gotta say, my experience at Red Lobster has been hit or miss. It really depends on which location you hit up. Before the whole pandemic thing, I used to go to this one spot that was always packed on the weekends. And let me tell you, the food was on point. But I ain't gonna name names, you feel me?

Anyway, fast forward to yesterday. I hit up a different Red Lobster and I gotta say, I don't know if I'll be back. They changed up their menu and it's not for the better. And they don't even tell you! Like, what's up with that?

Let's talk about the drawn butter. Or should I say, the not-so-drawn butter. I had to grill the waitress to get the deets on this one. And let me tell you, it ain't butter. It's some cloudy yellow oil that tastes like nothing. Like, what's the point?

And don't even get me started on the stuffed mushrooms. When they brought it out, I knew it was gonna be bad news. There was so much cheese on top, it was like they were trying to cover up something. And what they were trying to cover up was the fact that there was no minced clams in the stuffing. Like, what the heck? It was completely tasteless.

But you know what, I can't put all the blame on Red Lobster. Our food supply has become tasteless with all this farm-raised stuff. It's just sad, man.

Overall, I don't know if I'll be back to this Red Lobster. Maybe I'll hit up that other spot again. But who knows, maybe they changed up their menu too.

Red Lobster Disappointing Experience at Red Lobster Bridgeport, CT: Poor Service and Frustrating Payment Process

Red Lobster used to be a great family restaurant with delicious seafood at reasonable prices and excellent service. However, my recent experience at the Bridgeport, CT location left me wondering what happened to this once-great establishment.

When my family and I arrived, we had to wait at the door to be seated. Once we were finally seated, we had to ask for water multiple times and extra napkins three times. To make matters worse, our order was completely wrong. It was a disappointing start to our meal.

To top it off, when we tried to pay using the table kiosk, it kept asking for my email, address, and phone number. I hit the skip button four times, but it kept looping back to the same questions. Frustrated, I walked up to the wait station to ask for help. The girl there told me that I had to pay at the table and couldn't take my payment. I explained that I had been trying to pay for the last 20 minutes, but the kiosk wasn't working. Another woman came over and said she would take my payment, but then she handed it over to our waiter. It was a confusing and frustrating experience.

Overall, my family and I couldn't wait to leave Red Lobster. We were disappointed with the service and the experience. We won't be returning to Red Lobster anytime soon.

Red Lobster Disappointing Experience at Red Lobster: Overpriced and Underwhelming Seafood Quality

Me and my hubby went to Red Lobster on Friday, May 26, 2023. He got the Admirals Platter with more flounder instead of clams coz clams are too tough to chew. They didn't say nothing about the $1.99 charge for the substitution. They told him he could get two sides and he picked a salad and baked potato coz that's always been his sides. They didn't say nothing about the salad not being a side no more. They charged him $2.99 for the salad and didn't ask about his second side. I got the all you can eat Shrimp and picked the linguine Alfredo, Walt's favorite shrimp and a side baked potato. My potato was underbaked and I could only cut it in chunks to eat. The Linguine was a scoop of stuck together noodles with a small amount of sauce drizzled over it and 4 shrimp. We always drink water when eating out coz nobody Carries caffeine free diet cola. Our waitress was alright except for not telling us about the extra charges, so we left a 15% tip. It cost us $63.00 for the two of us to eat. Their good seafood has gone up 33% and down in quality. We ain't gonna be going back there no more.

Red Lobster Terrible Service at Red Lobster on Cypress Garden Blvd: A Disappointing Experience

My family and I decided to check out Red Lobster on Cypress Garden Blvd in Winter Haven on Sunday, October 31st, 2021, at around 7.00pm. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience we've ever had at a restaurant. We walked in behind another family, who were promptly seated upon arrival. However, we were left standing there for what felt like an eternity. There were two hostesses, a man who appeared to be in training, and a young girl. After a while, the hostesses left the desk and went somewhere, leaving us standing there with no explanation.

Finally, the young man returned and stood at the bar. We called him over and asked if we were supposed to seat ourselves. He replied that he was supposed to seat us, but didn't apologize for the wait or even acknowledge that we had been standing there for a while. As he was leading us to our table, the young lady returned and asked him where he was going. She then looked at us as if we were invisible. This was extremely rude and made us feel unwelcome.

At this point, we decided to leave and went to Longhorn instead, where we received much better service. We were really disturbed by this experience and have no plans to ever return to that Red Lobster location. We hope that the two hostesses receive some kind of disciplinary action for their behavior.

Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience at Red Lobster. The service was terrible, and we felt like we were invisible to the staff. We hope that the management takes steps to improve the service at this location, as it has the potential to be a great restaurant. However, until we see some changes, we won't be returning.

Red Lobster Disappointing Mother's Day Experience at Red Lobster in Virginia Beach

I had a not-so-great experience at Red Lobster on Mother's Day. I called the location on Independence Blvd in Virginia Beach around 5pm to place a to-go order for my 90 year old mother who was hungry and waiting for her meal. However, the worker who answered the phone kept interrupting me and told me that they couldn't take my order over the phone and that I had to come in person to place it. I was a bit frustrated but decided to drive there anyway, which took me about 15 minutes.

When I arrived, I was disappointed to find out that they weren't taking any to-go orders at all. I felt like I had wasted my time and gas driving there, and I could have been told over the phone that they weren't taking any orders to go. I was also upset that they didn't give me any reason for this decision or apologize for the inconvenience. Instead, they seemed to find it funny.

To make matters worse, the restaurant appeared to be poorly run. There were empty tables with dirty dishes on them, and the place looked messy and dirty. I also noticed that some of the staff were standing around talking in groups instead of helping out with the food. If they were running out of food, it's possible that whoever does inventory isn't doing a good job. Mother's Day comes around every year, so they should have been better prepared.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at Red Lobster. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. I'm also telling my friends and family about my poor experience so they can avoid it too. The only good thing about my experience was that they answered the phone when I called.

Red Lobster Mixed Experience at Red Lobster: Good Food and Service, but Confrontation with Bartender

Me and my crew had a good time at Red Lobster for my son's birthday. The food was good and our waitress was on point. But let me tell you about an incident that happened at the start. I tried to reach out to Red Lobster on their website on October 17, but I ain't heard back from them yet. So, I'm hoping they see this review and take action.
On October 8, my sister drove all the way from Lake City, which is 150 miles away, to meet us at the Red Lobster in Altamonte Springs on 340 W. State Road 436. We were celebrating my son's 20th birthday with six of us. My sister got there first, maybe five minutes before the restaurant opened. She needed to use the restroom real bad, so someone let her in.
When she came out, a bartender named Kenya, who had brown hair, confronted her and said it was illegal for her to be there. Illegal! My sister asked to see the statute, but Kenya didn't say nothing else. My sister was paying for all of us to eat there that day, mind you.
Now, we're all grown folks, and we don't expect to be treated like that by nobody, especially not at a restaurant. If Red Lobster don't want their customers to be treated like that, they need to talk to Kenya and make sure she don't do it again.

Red Lobster Red Lobster Discriminates Against Disabled Veteran: A Warning to Others

I recently had an experience at Red Lobster in Lynnwood, Washington that left me feeling disrespected and hurt. As a disabled veteran on a small income, I save up for months to be able to enjoy a meal at Red Lobster once a year. However, this time, I was discriminated against and called derogatory names due to my PTSD and brain issues from serving in Iraq.

Despite my excitement to finally enjoy my favorite meal, I was told to have my mom order for me and accused of lying about being a veteran. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive my entire order and had to send my wife on a ferry to retrieve the rest. When I reached out to the district manager, I was brushed off and promised a refund that never came.

As someone who saved up $350 for this special occasion, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of respect and care shown by Red Lobster. The burnt and inedible food only added insult to injury. It's disheartening to see a rich company abuse their power and mistreat a customer like me.

I want to warn others who save up their hard-earned money to eat at Red Lobster that they do not care about their customers or the quality of their food. This experience ruined my entire year, and I hope that others can avoid the same mistreatment. It's not a big story, but it's important to speak up when a company abuses their power and crushes a little guy like me. All they care about is their money, and it's a shame that they don't value their customers.

Red Lobster Disappointing Experience at Red Lobster: All You Can Eat Shrimp Special Refused Despite Special Needs Requests

Our waiter, Alex, was amazing, but unfortunately, the rest of our experience at Red Lobster was a huge disappointment. We have been loyal customers of this chain restaurant since it opened, but after our recent visit to the S 72nd St location in Omaha, NE, we will never return.

The manager, Deb Leininger, has changed the rules for us, and it was a huge upset. My 84-year-old mother and I (F/64) ordered the Monday special of All You Can Eat Shrimp. However, while we were having our meals, someone on the staff told Alex that we were not allowed to order any more shrimp until we ate what we had. This meant that we were not allowed to have the rest of our meal.

My mother eats a little at a time due to her dementia, and I have a hard time getting her to eat more than a small amount at a time, multiple times throughout the day. Shrimp is her favorite food, and this situation greatly confused and upset her. As for me, I have a history of Rou-N-Y Gastric Bypass, which means that I can only eat about a cup of food with a drink at a time.

We had a very difficult day with multiple health issues, and I wanted to have a nice meal with my mother after leaving the hospital and starting the morning with 2 hours of tests. However, because of this disappointing refusal to serve us what we requested, I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially those who have special needs, requests, or requirements. This "Business" has no business saying they are a family-friendly service. They don't care about an elderly woman and her senior daughter. It's all about the money, not about the guests. If you want to take your loved ones somewhere to be fed, take them elsewhere. You won't get it here.

We paid $56.00 for 2 meals with soda and tea, and we left a $20.00 tip. We spent $70.00 to be told that we couldn't have what we ordered. It was a huge waste of money, and we left feeling embarrassed and disappointed. We hope that our experience helps others in similar circumstances as ours.

Red Lobster Disappointing Experience at Red Lobster Monroe, LA: Lack of Servers, Slow Service, and Subpar Food and Drinks

Red Lobster has been my go-to restaurant for a while now, but my recent experience at the Monroe, La location left me feeling disappointed. I called ahead to check availability and was told it would be a 25-minute wait, which was fine since I live about 30 minutes away. However, when we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy, but we still had to wait over an hour to be seated. The reason for the slow service was due to the lack of servers.

Once we were finally seated, we were served biscuits immediately, which were delicious. Our party consisted of five adults and two toddlers, and we ordered our drinks, which took longer than usual. I ordered a Bahama Mama, which took about 30 minutes to arrive, but it was worth the wait because it was so tasty. We decided to order our meals right away since we felt like it would take a while for them to arrive.

I ordered the create your own meal with steak cooked medium-well and Walt's shrimp. My daughter ordered the seaside trio, which is her usual go-to meal. She complained about the long wait for our meals. My other daughter and her boyfriend ordered the Date for 2 meal, and my son-in-law ordered the create 2 meal with steak cooked well-done and Walt's shrimp.

My salad was delivered at least 30 minutes before our meals, and my daughter's salad didn't come until we asked for it. To make matters worse, her loaded mash had hair in it, so we had to return it. When our sirloin steaks arrived, they were cooked medium-rare instead of medium-well, so we had to send them back for more cooking. To top it off, we had to use plastic utensils, which made it difficult to eat our tough steaks.

Our side of fries didn't come out with our food, which caused me to ask what was going on. Our server informed us that they were very short-staffed. In the end, my total bill was $170 for subpar service and food. I was extremely disappointed, especially considering the price I paid. Even my grandkids had to use kiddie menus, and I had to ask for crayons for them to do the activities.

Overall, my Father's Day experience at Red Lobster was a letdown. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. It's a shame because I used to love this restaurant, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Red Lobster Reservations

We attempted to make reservations for 12 people. The website only allows reservations for seven people or less. We attempted to contact the Location itself and they told us that we can only put the name in, but they can’t guarantee us a table for 12 people and that we would have to visit the website. So we got the runaround and I think you should change your policy within your corporate stores in order to allow reservations.

Red Lobster Red Lobster service in Inglewood California

On November 3, 2023 I was taken to the red lobster restaurant on Century Boulevard in Inglewood California for my birthday I arrive with my guest at 12:30 we were informed it will take 30 minutes to be seated. At 110 we seated and order taken. At 1:30 we receive one water and one lemonade and some bread, at 1:40 I received one beer I ordered at 1/50 we decided to leave because it was taken to long, the servers seem like they had an attitude, it was the worst experience I ever had at a Red Lobster restaurant and especially on my birthday.

Hello There, I am writing to you regarding the Red Lobster on Sunrise Highway in Copiague, NY. I had received really bad service and attitude between the staff and manager today - Friday October 20,2023 at 12:10 PM It started with when I enter Red Lobster for lunch. Went there yesterday Sept 16th 2023 with a dinner group of 40 people. Arrangements were made and verified weeks (3 or more) in advance. We got there at 3:30p and didn't get to walk out till 7:30p. Red Lobster Red lobster service is horrible and food was cold and made me sick

I am so upset about my meal at Red Lobster in Billings, MT. The food was cold even tho the plate was hot. It took 2 hours to get and then on top of it I got sick. I never got my birthday Sunday because we were so upset and it took way to long to get anything. They didn’t have the small forks to dig the crab out with and took 20 minutes to even find the tool to crack it with.

I will NEVER GO BACK that place is a joke and a disgrace and waste of money.

I went out for a special occasion and they ruined it!

I used my ticket number but there was more than one. My daughter had a ticket as well. But didn’t have her receipt on hand.

We were there at 16:30 and did not get our check and Togo boxes to leave without my dessert at 18:44. That is RIDICULOUS

Desired outcome: Refund for both meals $75 at a minimum
