Refund - holding money hostage
The sales member did not tell me about a retainer … I was charged more than double what I was told. I immediately terminated my month to month called and requested a full refund. They refused. They also refused to give me my retainer back after I terminated my agreement.
I terminated within 24 hrs. I have never been to their location or used their services. Pure theft. They claim they are unable to refund anything even though there agreement states. The retainer is fully refundable. I need help these guys are scammers
Desired outcome: Full refund

Virtual office
Your system is charging incorrect late fees, not in line with the schedule. Even if you charged the $25 monthly plus 1%, as outlined in the agreement, the fees you are adding does not align. This whole experience with you all is overly underwhelming. Worst decision for my business was to chose you all. Now I'm paying for service that I'm not giving. Mail i...

Our company attempted to sign up on June 18 for a Month to Month Virtual mailbox.
The charges were supposed to be for only $77.00 which were to include:
22.00 for the pro-rate of June and 55.00 for the retainer ONLY!
FACT:
We didn't sign up for auto-bill.
We didn't sign up for another month.
We didn't sign up for mail forwarding.
We never received any welcome email.
We were only supposed to be charged $77.00 at checkout.
The nightmare begins.
Immediately after check out without our consent or authorization our CC was charged another $55.00. We received a email stating our card was now signed up for auto billing by Regus yet we never signed our card up for the method nor gave any coconut to do so.
We immediately called sales to inquire why we were charged another $55 and why was our card signed up for auto bill without our consent.
We were told billing was closed for the holiday weekend call back to dispute on the next business day.
We immediately tried to contact our finacial institution to void the payment as we had decide the very shady business of charging our card again without any authorization for additional charges was a clear RED FLAG ad we wanted nothing to do with Regus.
After 2 days of phone calls on the next business day following the holiday weekend we reached a live person and immediately. Terminated all services with Regus.
Regus sent a confirmation of termination email and email chain was also started about the refund for canceled services and retainer.
However, Instead of giving us back the Refund and Retainer. We are now continually being charged for services which were terminated. Furthermore, we requested in writing to remove all payment information from their system and to please refund our retainer back to the original form of payment or cut a check as there is no way in the world we would ever give this shady company our ACH info if we had it to give ( which by the way we do not).
Our bank also flag Regus's attempts to continue to bill us as fraudulent when we filed a dispute against this company for failure to refund us and for fraudulent unauthorized charges.
Regus still continues to try to bill us for terminated services. They even charged the date of termination to attempt to keep billing us.
The last agent I spoke to was a completely of no use to us.
What a nightmare company!
We decided to go to our Local News Station they decided to help us fight back and expose Regus for the crooks they are.
They are now helping us file and investigation against this company.
With our State Attorney General.
We have also filed a formal complaint with this agency:
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
Maybe someone with the ability to resolve this issue and other lie ours will respond.
I will never recommend this company to anyone and all avoid Regus like the plague if you can.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid
This company's BBB rating is a F and has been flagged for:
Pattern of Complaints:
***Failure to finalize leasing agreements upon written request, but continues to bill or draft payment beyond termination date.
***Failure to respond to consumer communications and/or poor customer service.
***Failure to make timely refund of security deposits.
***Failure to disclose auto renewal policies.
***Referral of account that have been wrongfully accumulated over to collections.
BUYER BEWARE
Desired outcome: Stop Billing us for Terminated Services/ Refund Retainer and UnAuthorized Charges
Even after Regus was advised there actions were fraudulent. day Regus had the nerve to send us an in voice for an account that doesn't exist. Just goes to show how dysfunctional Regus is. What a joke.
Not only were you provided with all the information asked. Your company then attempted to use the very information to set up an account again and still continue to try to bill us after confirming the contract was terminated. Thus our next step is to reach out to the 1000's of other Regus victims and inform them that we have escalated this type of shady business practices to be investigated by the United States Department of Justice and The United States Attorney General's Office. As stated earlier we have already filed a formal complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Kind regards
That's the point we don't have an account yet you continue to bill us as if we do. This is why escalated this as Fraud and will continue to pursue it as such with the support of our Local News and State Attorney General. Furthermore, even as I write this response your company just sent us another email attempting to invoice us for another $55 dollars. Transparency is by no means s practice at Regus. We have already called and emailed. Nothing has been resolved by Regus.

I use a small office at regus and I am continuously being tortured with errors on my invoices for 3 months and now they have directly charged money from my card for an invoice that has been already paid as a bank transfer.
What is frustrating me the most is, all the staff in Regus I have communicated is helplessly telling me they are unable to do anything but would have certainly reversed these errors if they were capable. I was escalated to a lady who has also been helpless for the past few weeks. I have sent emails after emails regarding this and the accounts department is just making more and more errors.
Can I please be put in touch with someone capable? Can I talk directly to one of the directors?
Desired outcome: Speak to a director
Hi Sandra
Thank you for getting back to me. I have emailed you directly and the direct debit is only a small part of my problem. I have been recieving invoices with additional fees for services I dont use for three consecutive months.
Direct debit had not been used for my monthly payments but they have deducted the disputed amount from my bank account directly using the card details I provided on the Regus app whilst setting up the app.
I am extremely unhappy with the services especially because I have been trying to talk to someone responsible for the last few months and have not had any luck.
My regus account number is [protected]. I would really appreciate it if you can give me a call on my mobile number to discuss the issue further

Miami-Wynwood - Fabio Kern
I signed a Lease for May 2021. The Leasing Manager was very professional and was very responsive. We signed the lease and realized that we were not able to move in as stipulated. We also realized that we were not given the key and wanted to discuss that. We called and left several messages for Fabio and Fabio did not return the call, close to the end of May we continued to call as well as sent emails and to no avail, not one of our telephone calls or emails were responded to.
Finally at the end of May after several phone calls I got Fabio on the phone he advised me that he could not make the changes and he would have me speak to his manager.
I spoke to his manager and his manager advised me that she would send an email to the area manager and copy me on the email. Immediately after our conversation, I sent an email to the manager and copy Fabio as to what was discussed, and advised her that I was waiting for the email.
A few days later I followed up because I did not get a response, this now seemed to be the trend in the management does not follow up on their promises.
It was only then I received an email from Fabio regarding the response I was waiting for regarding the contact information for the area manager.
Fabio at no time returned my calls to push back the lease, to organize pick up of the keys, to order the file cabinets, and finally hung the phone up on me during a conversation in front of my children without hearing from me. If we have not started a relationship and this is how he treats a new tenant then how will I be treated when I am a tenant.
Fabio Kern has failed to deliver on the lease agreement by not responding to our calls to push back the lease, deliver or make arrangements for the key delivery to access the office, make arrangements with us to order the free furniture that he promised, and committed to during the lease tour and finally refusing to discuss with me the arrangement to pick up the keys and the lease. For those reasons, we are requesting full credit and canceling the lease.
We need full credit and the lease to be canceled. Fabio Kern did not represent the Regus promise in any sense of the word. REGUS PROMISE "Our people make us. When businesses choose Regus, they're not simply choosing a workspace. They're choosing our people. Our dedicated teams define Regus - together creating a friendly, professional, and consistent experience for our customers, every day, in every location." The experience in the Miami location did not live up to Regus Brand Promise that he has created is unfulfilled promises, lack of follow up and follow-through, charging for services without delivering access to space, complete disrespect by hanging up the telephone on me in the middle of a conversation as well as the fact that he or his manager did not return phone calls or provide the information that was promised.
Desired outcome: Complete refund

Termination end of lease term notice was not reported by local branch
June 9, 2021
Re: Regus Roseville 915 Highland Pointe, CA Location
I received email notice about my renewal and there is a link in the body of the email that said click here if you do not wish to renew. I clicked on that link and it took me back to the email. Obviously, that link/email had some technical errors and I can't not complete the request. Then I emailed them back saying I don't wish to renew the contract. I never got any acknowledgement that my contract was terminated.
This happened during the pandemic lockdown. The office did not answered the phone nor my emails. Then I received an invoice that charged to my credit card on file in May. I immediately emailed them but no reply so I emailed them again and again. Three emails were sent, no response.
I tried to call but I got recordings. I called again and spoke and someone
answered the phone. He told me that I can only email them since the Corporate is overseas to resolve this. I was extremely upset and asked to speak to a manager. I finally got to talk to someone and she asked me to forward the email I sent to Regus in January. I forwarded the email to her but she did not receive it. Then, I sent email to her personal business email, she still did not get it. Then I faxed the email to her. After she got my fax, she submitted the termination ticket to the billing but the "billing department" refused to honor my request before the email I sent was less than 3 months notice. My email date showed it's only 3 days later than it's suppose to be according to their term. That was the only email I have saved. Most of my other emails were deleted so I could not provide it.
The bottom line: The Regus Corporate is unreasonable. First, this was technical errors on their part that I could not complete my notification with the link they sent me. Second, when I sent emails, no one at the local office who really opened my emails. No one answered the phone, they still can't receive my emails. It's obvious the only communication I have is via fax.
Businesses are going out of business because of the Pandemic lock down. No one really worked. People were afraid of contracting virus or spreading the virus to other people and stayed home.
Landlords are forgiving rents to people who can't pay rent due to unemployment. Our business also closed.
Desired outcome: I feel that they should honor my termination request and send me a refund.

June 2, 2021- I spoke to an agent that stated that my account is blocked. I was charged a reinstatement fee after I was told that I would not be charged. I spoke to Maria and said that the collection department handles this dispute and that I was not charged a reinstatement fee. [protected]. This company continued to charge for mail forwarding, late fees for a virtual office that was never used. I recommend that you do not use this company and report this negligence and unfair business practices.

My name is ari peters osf penske logistic.
Your focky manager named francis created a problem to our company and our employees.
We rented this suite 155 and suite 152 on or about june 2020.
Our propose was to do business in this state.
Francis your manager stated to harrass, to annoy, to defamate
to insult our company and our employees.
She engaged discriminatory treatment, abuse of power, illegal handle of my business assets as computers, office supplies, personal belonings and phones.
She engaged in enforcing ilegal procedure to disposs our things which took for her own use and enjoyment.
Francis insulted my employees denieying access to the suite 155 and suite 152 with warming of use of police force for trespassing.
Francis engaged in false statements about issues with the accounts of penske. Also she demonize our financial private information broadcasting to other menbers and regus staffs and managers in other nationwide locations.
She is a bad apple and direct hit to our honest business operation.
She continue her conduct aganist penske and her employees
for the time of 1 years creating fear and disconfort all the time.
Conclusion: francis is a bad officer and a bad person commiting
horrible acts against penske and their empoyees without valid
reasons.
Regus have the obligation of be fair with the tenant.
All actions of francis are illegal, unfair.
Regus have to fire francis for her actions.
Regus have to restore penske and their employees to this location at once.
Regus have to waive 10 months of rents due to her behavior.
Penske lost important employees, loss of revenue of $ 1000000.
Dollars, loss of valuable business opportunities, loss of assets value at 45.600.-, loss of reputations.
Desired outcome: FRANCIS HAVE TO BE FIRE.

Your comment/complaint make you sounds illiterate. Are you sure you are an actual business - you sound like a fraud and someone who is trying to pull a scam. I think I would be more weary of you versus the person you are speaking of.
Bridgeport office
I rented one of your offices when I accidentally signed an email (clicked on signature) on the first time I made enquiries at you Bridgeport office. After reluctantly paying for a good number of months. I went to the United States on the 18th of April 2021, I made contact with the Bridgeport office to collect my office details and keys, I was informed by the manager Ken/ and another lady that the tenancy had frozen and the do not have any office for me. I then contacted the office of the chief executive officer about this, I have still not received any response from them. I have now returned to the United Kingdom and since the office has not been allocated to me. I am requesting a full refund for all the monies deducted from my account and I want the tenancy terminated from immediate effect.
Desired outcome: Full refund and tenancy tenancy terminated

Services
I find your self very appalling. I contacted one of your centre in Slough and was given an office. I managed to sign a one year contract it due to poor customer services I decided to cancel. I had paid for 3 months without the use of the office as I was told that they needed to cut the keys. This did not happen and when I tried to cancel the contract I am being told that I am unable to cancel this and I have to pay in full something that I haven't used.
The case is now being referred to ombudsman just because of the services received.
Desired outcome: Terminate the contract

Contract renewal and invoicing
Company name: NMNP CI SAS Abidjan - Ivory Coast
Client n. [protected]
Regus customer since April 2020.
In April 2021 we received a different invoice than before -Ann.1- exp. 15/4/21 -(bigger amount) without any contact from Regus people.
Once we got that after one year contract conditions are changed, we tried to solve with Regus office manager. Target was coming back to same conditions we had. -Ann.2- exp 15/3/21 and paid.
After weeks of difficult negotiations we decided last days to confirm an higher amount than before, but less than the new invoice (Ann.1)
This week we received a document -Ann. 3- in which Regus said that we have two months not paid (May and June) withe June invoice (we had to ask for that!) higher than agreed and including amounts for late payment!
To close the show yesterday we received a Service Suspension Warning -Ann. 4-, as we are the worst customer, after only 5 days in May not paid and trying to understand through my assistant in Abidjan how to close the issue.
To confirm our willingness we paid today the invoice expired on 15/4/21 but it is really difficult to us to believe that this behavior come from Regus that we were planning to use with our different companies in Switzerland, Italy, Dubai and others.
Please reply to me: Mr. Davide Firmo, President of the NMNP CI d.[protected]@effe-soluzioni.it
Desired outcome: We would like to come back to the same invoicing we had and we paid until april21, ready to pay as always. For sure not paying penalties for the time we spent together to find a solution.

Ended virtual office last july but still being charged
I'm sending this message because I'm continuing to be harassed by Regus collections for a total of now $275. My business did not operate at all in 2020 & is still out of commission but your collections department continues to charge me monthly. I told a customer service representative this is August of last year but they didn't cancel my contract & when I called back the following month the supervisor rudely handled the call & said I was locked in to the contract
Desired outcome: I’d like for the contract to be canceled as promised in August 2020 & to no longer be charged

Hi,
During this pandemic I signed a contract to use one of regus offices in Manchester fountain street but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel this contract within 14days which I thought was expected. I sent email to my agent. He told me to contact help desk to cancel the contract, I emailed them and the main centre office which they never got back to me. However, I just assumed that it has been resolved but unfortunately it didn't. I keep getting emails for my invoices. The sad thing is that I never received any keys or even step a foot into that office. This is outrageous and very despicable. How do you expect me to pay for something I haven't used or seen. This is pure evil!
Desired outcome: Terminate the contract

Billing issue
I had vacated July 15, 2020, from Regus Roseland office. I chose an option 2 for the Covid Relief and I had paid all monthly bills. However, I did not have to pay 3 more months as my yearly contract due in November had been automatically changed to monthly contract because I was not notified and given the choice to renew or not in November 2019. In addition...

I am really unhappy with the service provided at regus. Rhe coffee machine never working ect and still having to pay for it.
Today you also tried to take £201 out of my account without my authorisation! I dont have a direct debit set up with you so you shouldnt legal be allowed to this. Also £201 to paint / clean a room thats only been in use for 3 months out of the 8 months renting it. Is shocking. I have rang your customer service team and you haven't even solved the matter, and you the had cheek to email me " are you happy with the phone call today" the answers is no, i want my desposit back in full and i want you to take responsibility for the fact you tried to take money out of my account with out my say! Which is probably not even legal. I will be letting everyone know never to rent a property from you as you literally rip people off!
So if i can please have my deposit back and a email of apology for trying to take money out of my account without me knowing that would be thw least you can do!
Office space rental
Regus tries to get me to pay for office space that was cancelled after they failed to give me a written copy, did not give my the keys or access to the office, made numerous mistakes on the invoice/billing, did not order any furniture and for which I never even had access to the building. They waited for three months, had their corporate collectors call me and threatened me with emails that did not include the full names of the person sending me the communication. Three years ago, I had the same experience with them as they tried to bill me for hundreds of dollars of unauthorized xerox copies. This company has local representatives who seem to be able to do almost nothing to assist but plenty to make administrative errors that they always say, can't be corrected. Billing errors are commonplace and no one can understand or make sense out of their billing system not even local employees. They have numerous locations across the USA and around the world. They have multiple corporate addresses and telephone numbers, many with slight variations from others. Many posted links on web addresses are broken. This company has trouble written all over it. Are they bad by accident or design?
Desired outcome: They need to be shut down.
