Windows and doors
I am in Winston Salem, NC. I started a project last year that started at $20,000.00 and it still not fixed. They are back this year, still working on it and replacing other windows and a door that is $14,000.00 and we are having nothing but problems with it and them. They refuse to give us an email, they keep putting us off and I have water leaking into my house! They tell me that if the door is not locked, it will leak. The installers broke the frames on 3 very large windows and they say that they will only replace 2 of them. They even have been getting very nasty because we keep complaining about the jobs. There is no way we should be treated like this. We need to resolve this and have EVERYTHING fixed the CORRECT way. Please call me Nick DiMola [protected]
Desired outcome: I want everything fixed the correct way ASAP for what I paid for!
Sliding Glass Doors
I ordered 2 sets of sliding glass doors in January of 2022. I paid the 50% ($8000) of the cost at that time. Approximately 7 months later my doors were delivered but were wrong. They reordered the doors which took another 6 to 7 months to be delivered. Again,1 of the doors was wrong and the screen that I ordered did not arrive, however, they installed the wrong door with the promise of getting the correct door ordered from the factory. Finally, I was told that my door and my screen were received, and I was scheduled for installation. Today, (April 5, 2023) the installer showed up with the screen but no door. To make matters worse, the screen that he brought was the wrong screen. While here, I had the installer inspect the previous installation. He stated that he could not believe the lack of quality of the installation. I asked that a service manager contact me directly. Still no one has contacted me.
Desired outcome: All I want is someone from Renewal by Andersen to come to inspect and to get what I paid.
Window repair not covered under warrenty
During extreme cold weather inside window pane (of double glazed) shattered. There was no reason for the window pane to shatter except perhaps the very cold weather. The window is still under warranty but repair was not covered.
When I spoke with the service representative on February 6, 2023 (contact info below) she said this was happening recently and she would request it be covered under the warranty, but still it was denied.

2 new patio sliders improperly installed by Renewal By Andersen
Hello, My Wife and I signed a contract over a year ago with Renewal By Andersen to install 2 new patio sliding doors for approximately $ 9300. They installed the 2 doors in October of 2021 wich we ordered screens and foot locks on each. After the doors were installed they told us screens & foot locks were on back order. When they called us to tell us the parts were in one of their Techs came out ( Andy) in wich he wasn't aware he was suppose to to bring the screens& locks with? This was spring 2022 and while he was at our house he happened to look at both doors and told us both doors were not installed properly and needed to be removed and new doors installed in their place? Well he was told by another tech. That wasn't happening and we never heard from Andy again the other Tech. Told us they would be back to make it right by installing lumber under both door thresholds wich they did over several more visits the tech. told us everything was complete and doors were installed properly? Well this past December 2022 with the sub zero weather my Wife noticed a strong cold draft leaking in on both doors between stationary panel and movable panels I also have pictures from my thermal imaging camera proving such a problem. I called again and sent out Oleg their best troubleshooting tech. Oleg told us there were parts missing from the original installation? After asking him to show me the parts missing he couldn't show me any parts that would be installed to correct the drafts? While he was there he also re-leveled both doors again after the last competent tech? Told us it was done correctly, I got home after Olek did the adjustments and found both foot locks out of line with the holes originally drilled in the sash to engage the foot locks I immediately called Oleg back and told him he acted like nothing was wrong he then told me the main lock is the only lock you should use anyway? I was immediately frustrated with his reply I said what can you do about this thinking it would require an adjustment? He then told me he would install spacers to make the locks work, I told him the locks originally engaged the holes that were drilled from the previous tech. I told him I didn't want spacers I want it corrected the right way I also said the doors were not installed correctly from the start and wanted 2 new doors installed, he proceeded to tell me the only thing he can do is tear both doors out and reinstall with a new sash on both and put back original jambs and hardware? This is definitely not alright with me and my Wife we deserve either 2 new doors installed correctly the 1st time or our money back? I'm currently still at a standstill with Renewal By Andersen with no realistic solution at hand? Please help! Al Lewan [protected]
Desired outcome: Money refunded for both doors or 2 new doors installed correctly the first time with all the correct parts.
Good luck with these people! Our patio doors leak air where two panels meet and or footlock. We can put a piece of paper between the stationary and sliding panels, close the door, and easily pull the paper out. Their own tech spent an hour telling us the problem with the doors but now their area director says the tech found no problems. Outrageous! Contacting state atty general. They also butchered the installation of our entry and storm doors. We wanted our money back and they initially wouldn’t do so without voiding warranty on unrelated products, tried to force us to sign a broad gag order and tried to get us to sign an NDA that would have subjected us to the laws of another state.
Damage during installation.
First of all, we since have found out that we were well
overcharged. The complaint is about the damage done to our
curtains and curtain holders. The ceiling in our den is
approximately 25 to 30 feet high. The curtains had circular
antique ends to the part that droop the curtains. The installers
broke the end of two of them. When we first informed the
company they sent someone out. After a period of time, we
contacted again and a different person came out. We were told
monetary compensation would be given. We have not heard from
the company since concerning the damage.
Desired Settlement:
We would appreciate the monetary compensation which was
promised.
Desired outcome: After two of the company's representatives came by we heard nothing else. Please forward to us monetary compensation in the amount of $1,000.00.

Complaint
Renewal by Andersen took advantage of my elderly mother whose husband had just passed away. she signed what she thought was a quote on an IPAD and was never provided any written documentation. She just got a call from Andersen that the windows were made and had to be installed. The first the contract was received was yesterday. They have now said the windows must be installed and she has to sign up for the financing company they use otherwise they will out a lien on her house. I talked to the supervisor, and asked who I could talk to above him and he said if I called Renewal by Andersen I would probably just be referred back to him. He was incredibly rude. I also found a quote for the exact door Andersen was going to install for $5,000 less. The door is not made by Andersen. They are charging my mother $42,000 for windows and a door for a small 1970 rambler.
Peoria Illinois division
To whom it may concern:
I am going to try and make this short and keep the emotion out of this is try to go with the facts. Even though I have very strong feelings about how my wife and I have been treated by the Peoria Illinois Andersen center.
Order windows in July of 2022. Was told they would be ready end of October.
My wife and I were insured that the job would be a professionally installed with the highest regard to even the smallest details. That Andersen would do their best to keep the current look we have with our old windows.
We ordered WHITE windows and never was shown a true representation of the actual color of the windows. No color swab, no warnings, obsoletely nothing preparing us for what we actually received. All we had to judge the color is by sales brochure published by Renewal by Andersen as the only representation of the true color of the actual product being sold. Photo enclosed.
Our Sales representative resigned from the company and we were never informed.
January 9th 2023 two and a half months late, after the end of the first day of the install my wife was extremally concerned by the outside appearance of the install. I thought that I was correct in telling her that there is no way they are going to leave it looking as it is. I told her that I am sure they are going to install a boarder around the windows and cover everything up. That this is a professional company and that is why we went with Renewal by Andersen because you get what you pay for. I said, we are paying top dollar we will get top results. We have been saving for several years to get the best. Not to worry.
January 11th 2023. I stayed out there way for the most part and work the afternoon shift as a bus driver and get home after midnight and never had a good look at the job being completed to that point. Before the crew arrived, I took a look at the job competed to that point. To my total dismay the finished product was aesthetically awful. When the crew arrived, I inquired if anything else was going to be done with the outside appearance of the windows or were they finished? To my total disbelief they said that they just had to touch up one spot where foam protruded out. But yes they were done. I informed them that this is not the look I was trying to achieve. I said even if I lived in a mobile home I would be embarrassed. That at this point I needed to speak with someone that is going to fix the problem and not to continue.
Peoria Andersen sent two individual. One I believe is a production manager and the other one is a manager, but of what?, not sure. I knew it wasn’t going to go well with them as they were racing down by street to get to my house. I had my dog out for a bathroom break. They jumped out of their truck greeted me kind of coldly then asked to see what was the problem. As I was pointing out everything to the two men I instantly noticed that they were not taking notes nor taking any pictures of what I was showing them. Just saying I see that, yep, okay. I could tell right then I was not going to be treated as a customer who just invested a huge sum of money, but as huge pain and problem that they have to deal with. I was totally shocked when they said “What were you expecting”? Then he said “This is what you order and this is how it is suppose to look.” I tried to explain to them that this is not what I signed up for and was not acceptable at all. But they continued to be combative and confrontational. I would not let them force me into accepting the job as is and told them that it needed fix. Very disgruntled they cut some materials and showed me an example of the only thing they can do for me. It did cover up the extremally poor install look but still looks very generic for the amount of money being invested.
We were at a point where I was will to accept the resolution being offered. I mention the color of the windows again because they refused to offer a solution to that concern. That is when the one men went into orbit. He said “I can see that nothing is going to make you happy and I am done with you” and waked way. I replied that I was the customer that he was here to help me. From there one can see from the video. I felt threatened for my own safety and just wanted to get away. I didn’t even have a chance to show them the concerns inside.
I am to the point where I would almost prefer another division finish the project. If this is the kind of toxic environment that is in the Peoria division then I am almost afraid of what is next. If the rest the fish stinks, surely the head of the fish stinks as well.
I have looked at other Andersen installs and it is almost looks like my windows are too small for the opening. What I have seen is a nice tight fit where everything is snugged up without the huge spaces and bridge materials with caulking to hold it into place. There is Zero visible caulking as it should be. To have caulking exposed at all, in my opinion is very tasteless and aesthetically unprofessional. Hopefully this is not Andersen’s new look. Example enclosed.

Door and window installation
Hello, my name is Lahoma Nasym I had windows and a front door installed at my home at 3908 Hermans Lake Court Florissant Missouri 63034 in March of 2022. My front door is missing a side plate which was not included in the installation when the install was so called completed. I paid 40,000 dollars for the door and windows and I receive unprofessional work done at my residence. I have reached out to you all by phone and email since April of 2022 to no avail with this neglect being made right or complete. I thought when I purchased the windows and doors I was dealing with a reputable company whose word had Bond but I guess I was wrong. I have never seen such disregard for the paying customer in my life during business with a purchase that's an investment in my home. To be lied to that an associate would be visiting my home to take care of this matter and haven't showed up yet is disturbing to me. I would like to know what You all will be doing to correct this problem. You have My information on file so please take care of this matter or I have no other choice but to go to the media and have legal representation to solve this in a court of law,
Desired outcome: Come out and fix My door properly like iI gave you my money properly.
Service
I contracted to have a bay window installed. I was told that it would be approximately 6 month wait which was fine with me. I had ask the sales person how much glass space there would be that is exclusive of the frames and posts. He couldn’t tell me. Other companies could. I calculated it my self. That is not my major complaint.
Major complaint - after about 5 months I got a call and was given an installation date. I was told all blinds and drapes had to be removed and all furniture was to be moved away from the window area. I did that. I received a second cal about 4 days before the scheduled install date as a reminder. At about 3PM the day before the agreed on install date I got a call that they couldn’t make that date. At about an hour after the call I got a second call that it would be either the day after the original date or the following day and that I would get a call at approximately 2PM the next date to tell me which of the 2 days they were scheduled to install. When I didn’t receive a call at 2 I waited until 3PM and left a message. Called again at 4PM. Called again at 5PM Called again at 6PM. Apparently they don’t care about good customer relationships once they make a sale
Slider Windows
We had Double Hung and Slider windows installed over a year ago. We LOVE the Double Hung windows as we've never had issues with flies coming in. The slider windows we have had issues from day one. We asked if we could get the double hung windows, they wanted to try new Saches & screens. Those were replaced this Spring & summer. We are STILL having issues with flies coming in & our windows have been locked. It's getting so frustrating as the General Manager will not call us back.
Desired outcome: We want the sliders replaced with the double hung. We know it can be done or a full refund on the sliders.
Sliding glass door
Got my door a year and a half ago. It was fine for the first 8 months, then it warped. 4 months later, my new replacement was installed, but wrong. Another replacement door was ordered, waited another 4 months for installation. Before the installer left, I told him it was extremely hard to lock and unlock but he said there was nothing he could do. This is so unacceptable and I would like a full refund.
I have complained directly to them with no results.
Desired outcome: Full refund
Bay window installed incorrect size. Renewal by Andersen #735 Mechanicsburg a
We had an old Pella bay window in our home that needed to be replaced. We contacted several vendors but finally settled on Renewal By Andersen #735 Mechanicsburg PA as they were the only vendor who promised to "replicate the existing Pella unit to perfectly match the other windows in the home" during a sales visit to our home on February 2/2022. At this time we were given a price for the one "custom" bay window of close to twelve thousand dollars. We were somewhat shocked at this price for a single window but as we were assured it would completely match the existing Pella unit, we gave a down payment of 3792 dollars for the work to proceed. A technician came to our home on February 8/2022 and spent a considerable amount of time carefully measuring the Pella unit, and assured us the replacement window would be match the rest of our home exactly.
June 19/2022 was scheduled as date for installing our "custom" window...installers arrived promptly at 8 am and proceeded to remove (and destroy) the existing window. Later in the morning they attempted to install our "custom" frame and it would not fit in the prescribed opening they had cut in our home. Several phone call were made by the crew and I asked them to verify that they had the correct window as it looked narrower than the old Pella frame. After more cutting of our home, a second attempt to fit the frame also did not work leading to more cutting , and finally on the third attempt the frame was in place and again I questioned if it was the correct part. The rest of the installation moved ahead and it was about 7pm when it was complete...11 hours to install one window?. ...then the crew asked for the balance of the cost to be paid before they would leave!
July 13/2022...Heavy rain today resulted a water leak in the "custom" window allowing rain water to run down the internal wall of our home. Contacted John Craft at Mechanicsburg PA who arranged for a crew to come out July 14/15 to fix this leak. This crew completely removed all the exterior trim, flashing and insulation and replaced it with different materials than what was used in the initial installation. I again questioned whether this was truly a "custom made" window as it did not match the rest of our home as promised.
August 16/2022...A technician arrived from Mechanicsburg to perform a "leak test" on the window. I showed him that I had dimensionally checked the "custom" window and that it was in fact a full 3 inches narrower then the original Pella window in was supposed to replicate. He took photographs and said we would get a call from Mechanicsburg about this. No call was ever received by us.
August 30/2022...Called John Craft at Mechanicsburg about having had no response to the August 16th complaint. He scheduled a visit to our home for September 7/2022.
September 7/2022...John Craft arrived at our home. I showed him clear dimensional and visual evidence that the "custom" window was not the correct size and he agreed with my statement. He said he would check into it and get back to me.
September 7/2022 to current date. I have made many calls to John Craft regarding this situation with no meaningful response...calls have gone ignored ...promises to "check and get back to you' have not happened...I have repeatedely asked for someone to compare the original dimensional record of the old Pella unit to the production drawing of the "custom" window supplied, but this request has been ignored...in one call from John Craft on September 28/2022 he told me that your manufacturing manager stated that he had done "the best he could" making the new window, and John indicated that this is the end of the matter in Andersen's opinion. When I objected to this statement, John Craft said he "would contact his manager to call me on September 29th to discuss this issue" but, as usual, there has been no phone call from anyone.
In my opinion, we either have the wrong window here or an individual took it upon themselves to change the conditions of our purchare agreement without our knowledge or consent. The basic error in the new window is that the visible glass width of the centre panel is 27 inches whereas the original Pella window is 30 inches. This difference of 3 inches effects every other part of the bay window. Externally, your crew had to fit very wide trim panels to make up for the narrower window. Internally, the plastic grids between the glass layers are only 9 inches wide compared to 10 inches in the old Pella unit and all the other windows in our home, so the new window sticks out like a sore thumb adversley effecting the appearence of our home and also potentially effecting the resale value of our home. Also we have a handmade antique stained glass panel which was hanging in the old Pella unit but will not fit in the narrower new window...to date we have been unable to find anyone who will look at reworking this very rare item.
In conclusion we feel that we have been given false expectations about the capabilities of the Renewal by Andersen "custom" window building program, and now have been abandoned by Renewal by Andersen to live with end result of these false expectations... a 12000 dollar gross disappointment.
Desired outcome: As the new window is wrong size (for 12000 dollars), substantial compensation is more than justified and expected.
Front door, storm/screen door, and french patio doors - product, order, installation, workmanship
There are multiple areas of concern from the time we ordered the products (20MAR22) until the initial installation (not completed) (02SEPT22) of the 3 products at our home to go into detail on this format. By the way, only 2 products were installed. The 3rd did not come with the rest of the order. Apparently, it is on backorder and no one informed us of that.
We would be more than happy to communicate the issues with you IF a representative from RBA would contact us.
It has been over a week since the installers (NOT RBA employees) started the project and no one from the office here in St Louis has contacted us. We have left voice mails, messages with office staff, and a final text to the manager of the local store (L.K.). We did get 1 voice mail message from the manager after repeated calls for service during the week. I left a voice mail and sent a text to that number he left for us. No response as of 09SEPT22 @ 1100.
After all the issues with our service - it would be appreciated if we got a call or visit from the office stating that they acknowledge the issues, apologize, and come up with a course of action to correct the many discrepancies.
Nothing!
Please assist us in correcting these issues.
I have included just a few pictures of some of the issues.
Thank You Very Much for your time and immediate attention to this request.
Desired outcome: Response and resolution to these issues. Resolution to include: completion of order, correction of discrepancies, replacement of defective parts, completion of installation, and compensation of purchase, to name but a few items.
window replacement job half done (a year and not finished as of this date)
Monday, 25 October 2021 - I was up and ready for the installers to come. At 8:30am I still had not heard from them or the company so I called Wayne to see if they were coming. He told me he would make some phone calls and see. We went back and forth in phone calls and finally around 10:00am the installer called and said he was on the way. Once he got to my house, it was only him to do the project. Therefore, he told me he was only doing the 4 small windows (2 in the living room and 2 upstairs in my daughter’s room which were right above the living room ones). When he was wrapping up to leave for the day and left, the following pictures (attachment below)will let you know how he left the windows. These are the windows in the living room and the way they were left the evening of the 25 October 2021. As you see, they were not secure, so therefore I didn’t sleep well because of the insecurity of the windows in the living room and I couldn’t put my security system on. Yes, I was tired Tuesday because of the lack of sleep. Also on this same day, upstairs in my daughter's room, the windows were worst in that you could see straight outside on the sides. Therefore, bugs could come into my house. I got some painter tape and put around the windows where the openings were. Throughout the day I was in contact with Wayne. In talking to Wayne during the afternoon, he told me that a supervisor would be coming out, but as the close of the day the supervisor didn’t show. Tuesday, 26 October 2021 – When the installer got to my house it was him plus one other. They worked on the inside of the 4 small windows and the large window in the back. I told the main worker that he was going to have to finish the front because I am in a HOA and the front can not be half done. Later that afternoon Herbert Steverson (field supervisor) came by and I told him of my dissatisfaction of the workmanship of the windows. He said that the reason the 4 small windows were not complete was because the worker ran out of the foam. In addition, I told him that before they leave today the front had to be finished because of the HOA. Mr Herbert assured that the 4 windows and the 2 large ones in the back would be completed before they left for the day. In talking to Mr Herbert, he said they would need another day to complete the project. At this point I was frustrated and unhappy with the way things were going. Now, there is another issue, I was told by Rosalind that this project would take 2 days. I make sure I was free for these days (Monday and Tuesday, 25 and 26 October 2021) and on Tuesday, 26 October 2021 they were saying they need another day. That was a problem for me. I really didn’t have any more days to give. Because I knew this had to be done, I changed my schedule on Saturday, 30 October 2021 (which put what I was supposed to do behind) to get this complete. Just to note, that appointment which I had scheduled for Saturday, 30 October 2021 can’t be done for another 3 weeks and not sure, as of now, if that is possible. Saturday, 30 October 2021 - the worker got to my house around 9:35am. This time there were 3 installer total. They had 3 large windows to complete (in the front over the front door, master bedroom and computer room). I didn’t sign the completion document because I need to talk to someone higher up to let them know how dissatisfied I am with the way things were carried out and the way things were done. Lack of communication, security and not being consistence with having the project completed as stated. There has to be some type of compensation with the way things were carried out and most of all the insecurity that I had to endure Monday night. Monday, 1 November 2021 - I received a call from Mr Robert in regards to this document and he said that he had received the document. He said he was getting ready to go to a conference and would get back with me once he returned from a conference. Tuesday, 2 November 2021 - I received a call from another representative to see what was going on. I told him that Mr Robert called yesterday and said he would get back with me when he returned from the conference. The representative said “yes, he would be in contact and I would make sure he does”. Wednesday, 10 November 2021 – Sent a follow-up email to Rosalind to let her know that I haven’t heard anything from Mr Robert. Monday, 27 December 2021 – Received a call from Mr Robert in regards to trying to close out the count. I mentioned about some type of compensation for all I have been through. He said once the project is completed we would talk about it. Also in the conversation he told me that he would get in contact with Mr Herbert about coming out to do an inspection. Mr Robert also mentioned that the crew that came out to install were not working for them anymore. The following week, Mr Herbert called and scheduled an inspection on 11 January 2022. Tuesday, 11 January 2022 – Mr Herbert did come out for the inspection and the following was founded: inside - missing screws, windows not sealed, frame bent screen not secure (they were able to fix that); outside – was not sealed good and properly clean on the windows in the back. Mr Herbert did the report to be sent. I asked for a copy but he was unable to give me one because he did it on his phone and had no way to send it. Also he told me he was going to send it in and it may take up to 6 weeks before anyone will be out to fix the problems. (may take longer) In addition he did tell me that the ones that installed the windows would NOT be the ones to do the repairs, “they no longer work for us”. Wednesday, 12 January 2022 – Made calls to Ms Robin and Mr Robert to see if I could get a copy of the report. Has to leave a message but around 12:05 Ms Robin called back. I told her what I wanted, and she was going to email Mr Herbert to see how to get it to me. Thursday, 3 February 2022 – Called again Mr Robert to request a copy of the repair report. left a message @ 10:23am. Also called Robin to inquire/request again a copy of the repair report. left message @ 10:25am Friday, 11 February 2022 – Received a call from Robin to let me know that she would be sending an email to me on Monday, 14 February 2022 with that was on the repair report. Wednesday, 16 February 2022 – as of 12:50pm I haven’t received an email in regards to the repair report. I called Robin @ 12:52 and she forgot but said she will send in 10 minutes. Wednesday, 9 March 2022 – received a call from a representative arranging an installation appointment to make repairs. The date is Monday, 11 April 2022. Monday, 11 April 2022 - received a text to confirm that the workers would be out on this day. After they came and looked at the windows it was discovered that the big windows in the back were bow. Also, as I went out in my back yard and looked up at the outside of the master bedroom window (see picture below) it was not put in evenly. Monday, 11 July 2022 – called Robert to let him know that I would have to reschedule the appointment that was set of 22 July 2022 due to me not being able to be available. Robin called back and we agreed to the reschedule for Friday, 15 July 2022. Friday, 15 July 2022 – Mr Herbert came out to replace the big windows in the master bedroom, computer room and pink room. After doing that I pointed out the window on the outside of the master bedroom that was not set in correctly and then he looked at the others and observed the L trim on 2 windows needed to be redone and the brick mold on the windows in the back. Therefore, another repair ticket had to be done.
As of today's date, still have repairs to be done. I am tired and unhappy with this!
Desired outcome: - I would like a better compensation than what was quoted to me by Kiera Ingram on Thursday, 11 August 2022. A reduction of $750 on a $23,272.00 job. - My windows fixed correctly.
Kitchen door
Started May 2021 is when they first came to measure for the door.
They came to install the door, the original measurements were wrong.
I had to wait months for a new door to be made.
January 2022, a new door is finally installed but the one that was installed was damaged. And they installed it anyway.
I called them the next day. We did a video call where they took pictures of the damage.
Another new door was ordered.
May 2022, they came to install it but that door didn't even get out of the van because it had major dents in it.
Another new door was ordered.
June 2022, they came to install the door. But they brought a storm door not a kitchen entry door.
And now here it is July 2022. I have had to call them twice. Because just like always no one every calls me. They say they will call me but no one ever does. And when I finally reach someone they say I was just about to call you.
And now they tell me there is a shortage with the manufacturer and they have to idea when I will get my new door. I can never reach a manager.
I always see commercials saying how the customers satisfaction is their number one priority but I feel like they could care less. They've been getting my payments on time and I just don't know what else to do. This has been going on for so long and I am beyond frustrated!
Desired outcome: I would like my new door that I have been paying for or a major discount. And I want a manager to call me.
french patio doors
This started in 2019 by ordering this door. It has been a total disaster and uphill battle to get the correct door replacement. The door I have now has a chip about 1.5 inches long at the top.
We have had to have all the weather stripping replaced and that just happened two weeks ago. The door knob was coming apart because it was installed backwards.
Having paid 11,800 dollars for a door with a chip and waiting 2 yrs to be told that it was on back order or that the company would not replace it.
Numerous phone calls to talk to someone in management has been extremely frustrating. They will not answer and will not call me back.
I would not recommend this company and wish I had never done this.
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund as I did not get the product that I paid 11,800.00 dollars for and I would like someone from customer service to call me.
Shoddy workmanship
While I may understand delivery time may have been impacted by covid (We were assured delivery to be Aug, 2021 and did not arrive until Feb, 2022), I do not and will not accept what has followed since:
1. The follow up requests for repairs and service have not had any scheduling for two months despite repeated contact. I have sent photos which you are now receiving.
2. I have "daylight" showing through the casements.
3. The casing did not even attempt to create a reveal of 1/8"-3/16".
4. The finish of the casing was atrocious and requires that I redo, even if the casing had been correctly "revealed."
5. The windows were not centered vertically and I am unsure if the bottom is even sealed.
6. The outside trim has come loose and is bowed.
7. There were dust leaks NOT associated with the open casements.
8. The outside caulking is and awful brown/gray color. I am unsure as to whether I can paint over it when this house is painted white.
9. Damage was done both inside and outside to the block walls when installing.
I will be blunt. I am going to contact an attorney. I did not spend over $17,000 for this kind of workmanship. I suggest Anderson get someone out here ASAP and get these repairs addressed to my satisfaction.
Through my son, a year ago, we chose Anderson because it was one of two of the best window manufacturers in the country. I expected quality work as well as being storm proof. Now I am not so sure.
[For what ever reason my Mac photos would not all down load. I have more if you want.]
Desired outcome: I already made that assertion. My email is [protected]@hotmail.com.My cell# 909-838-6012My son, Darren Taylor lives at 415 S Tin, Deming, NM [protected]-985-3729
Purchased six windows and no handlers to open them
In November 2021, I purchased six side by side windows. The installation was completed in March 2022. In May 2022, I noticed that I could not open the windows unless I use my bare hands on the windows pang. In doing so it is very hard to slide the windows open. I contacted Renewal by Anderson and asked why there were no handler for me to open the window...
