wood fuel blocks
Put a "ton" of wood fuel blocks on layaway in july 2015. was to be called by october 17 to pick it up. no call. i called oct. 21 and finally tracked it down, but the man i finally talked to said "no one else wanted to take the call". picked it up to find it was 50 38 pound bags = 1900 pounds. short 100 lbs. On October 31, 2014, we were at the Jeffersonville, In., store. The cashier automatically charged our Visa card as a credit. My husband told her he wanted it charged as a debit. Evidently she never took the charge off as a credit card charge and thus we ended up having the same amount charged to our account twice. I have gone to the store and a lady called the office to get it fixed. She told me it should be done in a few days. I called the store again today and talked to the same lady. She told me to call the accounting office, which I did. I talked to a Marsha and she told me she would have to check into the matter and either she or the Jeffersonville store would call me back in "just a little bit". I never received a call from either. I don't know what I need to do to get this resolved. The store owes us $71.03 and it is very upsetting.

This was my first time ever in a Rural King, normally I go to farm n fleet, But I have a garden and they had top soil for 1.19 for a 40 llb bag. So hey, that's a steal. I went in and at first couldnt find anything. nothing was labeled well at all. so I sent my sister to ask someone and they rudley told us that we had just walked past it. (well my bad I missed it) well we couldn't find the 1.19 one so we asked the same lady where it was and she said "oh, it's outside. you should have asked for that one in the first place." uh okay, my bad I figured they would all be in the same spot. well I went to check out and I asked the lady at the register if I needed to bring in the top soil or pay for it and go get it. and she told me "You pay for it first and WE get it, haven't you ever done this before" so I blew it off, whatever, She gave me my total and I handed her my card and she rudely snatched it out of my hand and said "It goes here!" as she slammed in down into the card machine. Then the guy met us out by the top soil and complained the whole time about how much we bought and that it was raining. like yes I get it it sucks but I was helping him put it in the truck and it IS his job. That was the worst shopping experience ever. Farm N Fleet forever!

I haven't used my credit card, but I must say, I have problems with the Jeffersonville IN. store. You can never find a price of an item, whether it be on the item, or the shelf. I contacted the store and was assured it was due to a new manager and things were in a mess as of that time. Well, it's been a long time since then, and low and behold, I went to shop again same ole thing. NO PRICES POSTED!
i was recently employed by the rural king in norwalk ohio as a loader i ennjoyed my job at first until my co workers started messing with me when i was trying to get stuff done so about 2 months into it i volunteer to go to nights which is 10~7 there so i do 2 nights then this new manager allan decides at about a quater till 7 that hes gonna change my schedule and put me back on days so then i have to come in and work 10~5 after i just got off at 7 i was pissed i like my job but i hate how my co workers are i feel i may blow and hurt one of these ppl one of these days if they dont stop their dumb ### what should i do?
My husband and son went there (Rural King) in Shelbyville, Ky this weekend. They spent around $500 on fencing materials. When my hubby came home he was livid! He said there was a salesperson there that acted like a ### and ignored their needing help loading up the heavy fencing...my husband cut his finger in the process. I don't know what to do at this point...the employee was lazy and negligent according to my son and hubbie...he asked me to get on-line and see about filing a complaint...this is what I've done so far. Shelf price not cost of item
Went to new Rural King in Jeffersonville, In..Very busy. Bought a swing pad..Shelf price under item was $16, 99. Rang up as 24.99. Stood in line forever. Finally a girl went and got the tag..16.99..but numbers didn`t match. By that time I just wanted to get out of there..the place was a zoo. I feel they should have given me the difference..new store..shouldn`t have wrong items and prices matched on shelves. Doubt I go back. Can`t get an email to theM. Maybe there is a reason for that!

warranty not honored
I bought 4 tires in July 2o1o from the Wooster Ohio RKO. My bill was over $400 with road hazard. In March, I must of had a low tire and drove on it. I had my mechanic take it off the rim and put another one on so I could take it to RKO. They told me it was not covered because I had removed it from the rim--How was I suppose to take it in? They did offer to sell me another make of tire for $75 plus mounting. They took my covering off my hubcab and it is now gone. They said there was nothing they could do. I am so glad a company can lose business. I would not recommend them to any one with their service.
refused to correct a very faulty chain saw they sold
I purchased a 14" poulan refurbished chainsaw. I got it home to find out that they packaged the impropersized chain. Drove 74 miles round trip to the Clarksville store and they gave us a new chain. Went home and attempted to start the saw and it began blowing chain oil everywhere, plus would not run properly. Drove another 74 miles back to the store and met with the assistant manager who refused to give me a different saw or my money back. I know he had the authority to make the exchange. He wanted me to leave the saw for his shop to look at. Which means I'm gonna have to make another 74 mile trip to pick up another saw or the repaired one. I was going to purchase a new gas auger and 8" bit a 400.00$ purchase from there but now refuse due to the way I have been treated. Tractor Supply knows how to treat their customers !

On 4/3/2015 I was walking to the automotive isle and slid in a large pile of dog feces causing me to fall down on getting up I discovered I had it on my shoes and and socks which made it even worse I reported it to3 different employees and nothing was done how can any place that sells food products be so nasty
Time to start feeding the birds again. Rural King had a sale on Rural King brand bird seed. I bought two 40 pound bags. I opened one up and there wasn't a teacup full of seed in a whole 40# bag. The rest was cracked corn and dust from the corn. Mostly just dust.
