Sears is one of those companies which has the worse customer service.
We bought a washer from Sears with an extended warranty & paid $100.00 every year for 3 years. We didn't have any problem with the washer for first 2 years but the 3rd year we started having problem with the machine. We called in for repair and they schedule the appointment.
The tech guy shows up to repair without any parts to repair the washer. (How the #### you go to customer without any repair part) He tells me he has ordered the part which will arrive next week and he made an appointment to come in next week to repair the washer.
Part took 2 weeks to arrive and when the part arrive i called Sears to confirm that part has been arrived so the technician can come in to repair.
The Sears customer service told me everything is scheduled on friday and the technician will come in to repair around 1 & 5 pm. The guy never showed up, when i called Sears to confirm whats going on with the technician, they told me they were waiting for part arrival approval (my ###). I called them on monday & approved the arrival & still its not in their system.
I went thru 5 different Sears customer service agents to fix this issue but everytime these agents told me to hold and hung up, one told me she will transfer me to supervisor & she hung up as well.
We paid $100 every year. Called them only once in the last year and we recieve ####### nothing from them, the calls ####### transfer to India where those people have no ####### clue what we are talking about & when they realize they can't help you they hang up on you.
SEARS IS ONE OF THE COMPANIES WHIC HAS THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SEARS
SPECIALLY THE WARRANTIES, CUZ YOU ARE NOT COVERED EVEN IF YOU PAY EXTRA.
FRIENDLY ADVICE TO ALL...
DO NOT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM SEARS, ITS JUST WASTE OF MONEY. YOU DONT GET ANY SERVICE FROM THEM.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
I have the same problem with my refrigerator. They did not show up for 7 (seven!) appointments and still did not fix our refrigerator. Now I'm waiting for the 8th appointment next Saturday. Sears repair service SUCKS!
We have the same experience with the service or lack thereof... this is unexceptable!
If Sears allows this kind of bad service to continue I believe the end of Sears will be soon!
This is helpfull to know that this [censor] of Sears Suckers don't repect theirs Consumers. I am going throught the same type of aggravations with them just come and Fix my washer. I think this company is run by Low life dumb peoples. their services repaires is the Worst, I will suggets that no ones Buys from them because it's that bad. I am done with these people.
If there were a negative star rating I would be giving a negative -5 for SEARS repair. They are the WORST ever. The Customer service reps are idiots and keep you on hold for 20 minutes then disconnect you then the service repair techs don't know wth they are doing. After 6 attempts to repair out washer, the idiots still haven't fixed it...$4k in damage later, the washer is still leaking. Where do they get these idiots from...the street? Seriously! The tech called to say he was on his way and when I told him I had the parts and what they were, he took it upon himself and cancelled the appt. This is the WORST service I have ever experienced and will tell anyone and everyone I know not to EVER use SEARS for ANYTHING b/c they hire idiots who don't know wth they are doing.
We bought a front loader washing machine, started having problems, when it spins out it makes a loud noise and seems to be off level. We had bought the extended warranty at time of purchase. The service repair tech brought in parts, total 800.00 and then cost of repair was 400.00, the machine only cost 900.00...anyway, this did not fix the problem. We have called Sears to have the techincian return, 3 appointments made and no show by the Tech. We have to come home from work to wait all day and they never show. Then Sears tells us that the techincian said that the reason we are having trouble with the washing machine is because we don't have it on a concrete floor, we just had a new home built, sturdy floors, but we are told we need a concrete floor, that is why the machine gets out of balance, if this were true, then why doesn't Sears have this posted next to their front loading washing machines stating that it requires to be on a concrete floor in order to work! Again yesterday we waited for the tech to show up, they told us to take our washing machine out on the front porch, load it with towels so they could test the machine on a concrete floor, i guess they want to prove that it is our fault, but guess what, NO SHOW AGAIN! Carry the machine outdoors for them and no show.We will not buy anymore Sears products, I understand now why Sears business has gone down in the last few years
