Saturday 16 September 2023-18 September 2023.We recently opened an account for my husband at Sportscene. We went to Sportscene Cape Gate where a girl names Kaylin assisted us. On the same day after receiving his card we asked to make a secondary card where she informed us we should wait 2 months before making a card. I contacted customer services the next day and they informed us that you can make a secondary card immediately. I contacted Sportscene Cape Gate and asked to speak to the manager where he was not there and the Supervisor Malik said if customer services said we can make it then we should come and make the card with my husband the card holder. We get there the lady Micaela says we need a 3 months bank statement from the secondary card holder to make a secondary card. I told her we are not opening another account why should I supply a bank statement?She said no it's quick just bring a bank statement I told her you know what leave this damn secondary card then. On the form and according to customer services it requires no 3 month bank statement. The card holder just gives you an extra card to spouse child etc. Their service was well pathetic. They are not properly informed or even make an effort to contact customer services to guide them. They should get better training in customer relations as their customer service is very poor. The whole experience was horrible with Sportscene Cape Gate. On their reviews they never respond and have no empathy towards their customers. Really done with Sportscene Cape Gate
Desired outcome: They should contact the customer apologise and send my husband paperwork via email and give us the secondary card
